It is very convenient area to see Florence. Our room was clean, I would suggest to pay attention on cleaning the grout below the tub (tiles) and floor to make it really appealing, the build up of dirt is starting to show and not a good sight. Other than that the room has good layout and would stay here again. Everyone was friendly. Thank you.

We checked in very late about 9:30pm. The staff informed us that we could add euro30 to upgrade the room. Everything seemed fine until we used the shower, which had a completely blocked drain. This was very troubling as it flooded the bathroom (very inconvenient to clean) and also prevented us from showering at all. When we checked out then informed the staff about this matter, they were not very understanding (we showed him the photo) and only said that it wouldn’t happen next time. Frankly, I do not think we will be returning to this hotel after this so bad experience.

It was ok but very poor value for money, room was tiny and it didn’t feel very clean. The bed was comfortable, good black out curtains, good aircon. Really didn’t like the fragrance they use in the room on arrival - cheap, unpleasant. Also, It smelled like mould in the bathroom due to poor air ventilation in the bathroom. Area around the train station is dodgy and always super busy but convenient for getting to and from airport. Staff was nice and it was convenient to leave the luggage at the hotel. Overall very average stay and I’m happy we only stayed there for one night.

Clean room. Excellent breakfast. very convenient location just steps from the train station. The staff is so nice and helpful. We checked in late and the front desk phoned a nearby restaurant to make sure we can still go for dinner. The breakfast staff offered to refill our water bottle for us. We had a wonderful stay at C Joy Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. After a long international flight, we were so grateful that they were able to accommodate us with an early check-in—it made all the difference and allowed us to rest and recharge.

The rooms were modern, clean, and very comfortable. We also loved the location—convenient and close to everything we needed. The entire experience was smooth and pleasant, and we truly felt taken care of.

Centrally located, spotlessly clean and helpful staff, it’s a great place to stay to explore Florence plus easy to get the bus or train for adventures further afield.
Despite the “soundproofed” rooms claim, they’re not and the noise from the road is also high at times. The bar was shut a number of evenings and don’t bother with a balcony unless you just want to smoke outside.

The hotel has excellent location. Staff is very friendly, and passionate. Breakfast is good. However, the room condition is not up to standard esp the bathroom, and it’s smelly.
Most importantly, the door lock requires special attention to lock properly, otherwise it cannot be locked. Our room door was locked when we went out, however, it was not locked properly by the hotel staff after clean-up. This will cause safety issue that made us feel unsecure.

Excellent choice a stone's throw from the train station and the tram to the airport. The area looks busy, but the hotel offers a relaxing and welcoming accommodations, very modern, clean, with excellent staff at the front desk (best team I encountered in my last 10-12 travels) Very professional, perfect english. Checked in around 13:00; room was ready. Got an upgrade in a larger room on the ground floor by reception as the hotel was full.
Welcoming staff. Comfy bed, quality linen.
One problem detected around midnight was the A/C was not working. We contacted the reception and they verified it without any luck. Hotel full, couldn’t relocate us. They proposed to leave the window opened and plugged in a mosquito repellent as window was left opened.
Happy , our stay was for only 1 night.
But overall the place was great.

Our stay was a good experience, big trouble were room dimensions (much smaller than stated in the web site), it forced us to open and close our baggage many times, there was not enough room to have an open baggage and circulate in the room. Another problem: there was no space in the closet for the clothes.

Don't make the same mistake we did

Terrible one night stay at this hotel in September. It is definitely not a 4 star, do not waste your money. Our AC did not work the entire night, we were basically in a hot box and got no sleep. We were up past midnight dealing with the front desk, trying to get a refund so we could book somewhere else but they said they weren't authorized because the hotel manager was away on vacation. I emailed the hotel manager the following week to express our disappointment with our stay and she responded by gaslighting me and telling me there was no problem and the AC had been fixed earlier that evening. So ridiculous.

A really convenient, modern and relaxed vibe to the hotel, a 15/20min walk to the Duomo and beyond to the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio. Lots to see and do, walks, shopping, eating and drinking and the best gelato at Le Sorbetteria. The Joy hotel was clean accessible to everything you wanted to see as well as being 3 minutes from the train station, they offer you complimentary coffee, water and juices during the day on arrival as well as some sweet treats too. Room was decent except the air conditioner doesn’t work that well. That’s to be expected across Europe however, our hotel in Rome, Venice, Amsterdam and Paris had great AC systems. Florence was one of the hotter destinations so not having good AC was hard. The area is in an ok area but you’ll notice not so great characters around as it’s near the train station. It is easy to get to popular destinations such as the duoma. Just be mindful of scammers. You will know who they are in the area.

If you are going only for business is perfect.

The hotel was clean, and easy to get to.
You have good space and all facilities were clean.

Highly recommend this hotel! It has a great location just across from the train station but is on a quiet street. It's within walking distance to all the main sights and is very clean and modern. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel felt safe and had all the amenities needed.
