This hotel was quite nice. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. It's in a great location..quiet, close to the train station, close to restaurants and not far from the city centre. I would definitely stay here again.

proximity is why we chose the location, that and a queen size bed. nothing but stairs from the front door to the cramped check in counter area (good Luck with large bags or a lot of luggage) our room was next to the check in and the walls were so thin we could hear the guys TV and people checking in and out at all times of the day/night, heck we could even hear desk phone conversations. Found hair in the sheets and the owner/manager was upset when we asked him to change them. value did not match the price!

The hotel was chosen for its covenient location close to the tram stop and the main city area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel and room clean. Air conditioning worked well. Close to a variety of cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, and within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions.

Id recommend this hotel for a \"no frills\" stay. The hotel was in a good position, close to the centre but far enough out to avoid crowds, and a good price. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable, if a little basic, but it had a comfortable bed, and a great shower. The walls were thin so we could hear our neighbours, but it was not so noisy to disturb. There was also no lift. This was not a problem for us, but guests with mobility problems may struggle.
Overall it suited our needs perfectly and Id stay there again.

Two issues lost them all the points. First they stuck me in the basement next to the breakfast room. Noisy early in the morning. The real problem was on my last night. At 1am (for an hour), 3am and 330am, their staff screwed around in the area. Slammed doors too. Even after I yelled out. Maybe it was multiple people? So i never really got a good nights sleep the entite stay. Maid was good. Though i didnt want it. Hot water ok. Heat didnt work for a bit. Curtains were to thin. Pillows too. Dont accept that basement room if you stay here.

Overall this ended up being a nice place to stay. We certainly appreciated the location. It was conveniently located near both the airport tram and many attractions. We walked everywhere from the hotel without any issues. We had some language difficulty with some of the desk staff. We were put into the wrong room the first night (I had prepaid for a triple room and they put me in a double). Luckily our 3rd person didn’t arrive until the next day and they were able to move us to the triple room. The desk staff is available 24 hours, but sometimes that means the desk clerk is sleeping on the couch in the lobby or you need to wake someone from the room upstairs. We had some minor issues with the shower – one of the showers backed up and the doors around the shower where a bit easy to knock off the track, but the water was hot. Overall, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean and we enjoyed the location.

if anyone wants to risk it

the receptionist informed us immediately that our reservation is no longer valid (we paid for it in advance) and that instead he sends us to sleep in an apartment near the hotel. We do not know why he did not let us sleep in the room booked by us in advance.
to arrive at the hotel after a rainy day and to have announced that the room is no longer valid for you, it is not really what a tourist wants.

Bathroom was very clean. Shower was large and seemed to be newly renovated. The walls in this hotel are paper thin so you hear the rooms above and next to you and people walking through the halls. There is more noise coming from the inside than the outside. Made it annoying sometimes. The night concierge smoked all night and the hallways smelled of smoke which was gross. But everyone smokes in Italy I guess. Room was clean and a decent size but the mattress aggravated my back injury. I’ve slept on better camping sleeping bags. Beware of this hotel if you have a sensitive back! Location was great. Made walking and travelling through the city very easy.

Good service. No lift. Owner helped to move luggages to room at back garden. Hotel reception is 1 floor above ground.Very close to Florence S.M. train station. 5 min walk. Easy to find. Got a super good & affordable Italian restaurant at corner of street, went for 3 dinners when I was in Florence for 3 days. Had best Italian spaghetti, risotto & steak in Italy, compared to Naples, Rome & Venice.

The best and economic hotels we have ever stayed

We have been to many countries including the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, France, Italy, and Spain. So we have lots of experiences with different hotels. I cannot help but say that this hotel is the best one we have ever stayed. We came in very late (after 9:30 pm), but the hotel had someone (in fact, Mr. Bl Gaby, a wonderful and very nice guy to receive us) to check us in. The room was clean and the hotel was very quiet. The breakfast was also good. The hotel is within a walking distance to most of the attractions. However, it is highly affordable. Therefore, I highly recommended to anyone with no reservation.

The hotel is in a great location and well kept, the staff are very friendly and helpful..... But.....Housekeeping left my room unlocked MULTIPLE. This was not just while cleaning, but I would return to my room to find it unlocked and on one occasion the keys still left in the door.

엘베없는 2층(이탈리아 기준1층)이지만 이탈리아는 다 그런가보다 했고, 아아아주 낡았습니다.
방안에 화장실이 있는 방이 대부분인데, 3층 올라가는 계단 때문에 화장실이 복도로 한번 나가서 가야하는 유일한 방에 묶었는데, 1박만 해서 아주불편하지는 않았어요. 방에 별도로 테라스가 딸려있어서 잠시 밖에 앉아있으니 기분은 좋았지만 모기땜에 금방 들어옴... 낮시간에 앉아있을 기회가 있으면 좋을법도 했고요.
방 안에 그나마 세면대가 있는건 플러스, tv는 정말 콩알만해서 있는척만 하는정도에요. TMN역에서 아르노 강을 건너지 않고 묶을 수 있는게 좋았고, 거리대비 정말 가격이 싸요. 물론, 쳌아웃할때 세금 5유로를 내라그래서 체크인할때 받았으면 더 좋았을텐데 싶었습니다. It has wonderful location. You don't cross Arno river. Wifi has not bad speed. Bathroom is big enough and additional sink in the room was handy. (I was in the only room which doesn't have bathroom inside)

The staff was great. Very friendly. The breakfast was sufficient: cereal, various kinds of coffee, peaches and packaged pastries. The room was small, as noted by the 100sf in the room description, but having the A/C was fantastic. We had loud neighbors the first night but after that it was fine. Close to the train station and 15 minutes to most major attractions, the location was great for me!

We read all of the reviews and got what we expected. Hotel staff provided us with a map and there was always someone there to assist! We had to share a small hallway bathroom but it was very clean and didn't seem to have to share with anyone. We felt safe and had easy access to metro station Novella S.L. and bus station. Room had AC, Internet connection, was quiet with a little patio and did not have to deal with street noises. Towels, blanket, sheets provided. Sink in room which was nice. I would definitely recommend for a budget hotel stay!

The room was okay. The location was close to the train station but I did not feel safe. The room was so crazy loud. The girl that would clean the room in the morning would not put new soups and shampoo, she would only put new towels. There are other hotels near the train station that was cheap. Don't stay here!

I travelled with my aged and partially blind mother. Hotel staff was very responsive to the specific needs which we had and offered a ground floor room with an easy access direct from the street, wide doors, large toilet / shower room, etc, etc. It was very convenient. Highly recommended.

Near Train station but doggy area

The location is good because near train station and eaisly find. But there are a bit doggy, some peopple sitting on the street. Need to becare if returning hotel late. The hotel service was not good, we find that there are saints in our bed sheet in the morning after our first day stay, the hotel receptionist said they cant do anything because the hygiene staff will not be on duty till next morning. That means we need to use the dirty bed sheet for another night! There are no kettle and we need to go down the canteen in basement to get hot water. And there is a long stair before u arriving the reception, and another long stair before reaching your room. Though the staff is helpful for moving the luggages.

The office staff was very helpful and made reservations for us for the art museums so that we didnt have to wait in line. The downsides were the inconveniences of using a shared bathroom (however there is a sink in your room and the shared bathroom was kept very clean). It is about a 5-10 minute walk to the main Firenze train station so if you do a lot of day trips to other nearby cities, this is a good location! Overall, pleasant and comfortable stay.

Very good hotel, great for the price. Walking distance to all major attractions. The staff was very kind and let us leave our luggage all day before check in time and after we checked out. Was very clean. Shared bathroom, but never felt like we were sharing it with anyone! Only complaint is the pillows- they were very flat. Other than that, great experience. Definitely would recommend.

Bare bones offering- Re-define \"Non-Smoking\"

I wouldnt stay here again. First impression: walk up a flight of stairs into a lobby with cigarette smoke so thick you can cut it with a knife. Note that there's a no-smoking sign in the lobby and its actually the hotel manager that's ignoring the policy. When you communicate your concern, he gives you the quiet sign because other guests are entering the hotel and they might not notice how bad it stinks... Go to your room; theres two towels. No bath mat, no towels at the sink, the deadbolt only works from the inside, the balcony door wont lock and when you leave during the day they want your room key. its a nice location but that doesnt offset all the other negatives. find somewhere else if you can

This room felt more like a prison than a hotel but the location is great. The room was LOUD, you could hear every movement through out the hotel. The desk clerk smoked out in the hallway all night so even though our room was no smoking the second you opened the door the room filled with smoke. The mattress was hard, and old, and the room small. But the location was right near the train station and close to all the sights.

The hotel was located quite close to the Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station and that made our stay very convinient. The staff were very friendly and helped us to guide our way through the city. Even though we reached late in the night, we were quickly taken to the room for the much needed rest. No mention of the 2 flights of stairs to access the hotel - not helpful when carrying luggage.

No bath mat or hand towel in the bathroom.

The shower was set at around 7 foot and did not have a proper nozzle which meant the water fell on you in a stream.

Shower base was slippery and no hand rail for safety.

Toilet cistern was set at 10 feet and sounded like the sluice gates to the city when flushed.

Wafer thin pillows and only one per person.

I was traveling with parents and we all liked the room and location (very close to the city sights and center). However, it was rather cold (central heating worked from 5 PM until midnight I believe). There was a conditioner which helped a lot, although at night it can cold, be ready. Overall it didn't ruin our impression, the hotel was clean and room was comfortable, although small for 3. One more thing, you could tell that the walls are thin and if you get a noizy group of people next door than it can get noizy.
We were happy with the hotel and would recommend to a friend.

Putting the Evil in Midieval

Florence is a medieval city and staying at the Palazzuolo is a bit like stepping back in time. Instead of a shower, you get a horse tap that floods the bathroom floor. Rather than a normal, comfortable bed, you get to sleep on what feels like a cement block with wires sticking out of it. The bed is really no problem however, because the noise from the biker bar underneath the hotel will keep you awake all night anyway. So, when you get up the next morning excited for that free \"breakfast buffet\" you were promised, you can go downstairs and enjoy munching your dry cereal and if you are lucky a piece of pre-packaged croissant or toast. But, that's ok, because as you eat your breakfast, if you happen to have a computer with you, you can plug it into the single ethernet cable that provides the only form of internet access for the entire hotel (yes, no wifi, like is promised in their description) and search for a new place to stay.

I would like to end this review by adding, the 4 nights i spent in the jungle of South America sleeping in a hammock was more enjoyable than the Palazzuolo.

10 minutes walk to see the cathedral, good location and easy to find even on city map. I had booked a double room with shared bathroom however they gave me a family room with bathroom facilities too. The room was neat but we were surprised to find an used razor on the bathroom floor.

The location was great, near the train station and the workers were very nice. Breakfast was included, and the room was decent but the bathroom had mildew in the tiles. Shower was literally on the wall, with no divider from the rest of the bathroom. After pulling two shower curtains on each side, the entire bathroom floor is wet. Knew this before booking due to reviews. Fine for a few nights, wouldn't stay for a week.

We had a room right beside the reception on the first floor. The gentleman at the reception doesn't speak English at all. However he seems friendly. Very basic breakfast. The room is clean but badly sound-proofed. We can hear the receptionists talking and watching TV clearly.
In general, it is a worth trying budget hotel which close to the train station and 20 minutes walk to the main attractions.

Good to excellent value for money, Clean, well appointed room, we had shared bathroom which was suitable for a short stay only as the bathroom tended to flood when showering, but was otherwise clean and functional. Some reception staff were not friendly at all, but it depended who you got, others were friendly and accommodating. A good base for exploring Florence as is within walking distance of main centre and a good local restaurant is just down the road.

Central hotel, near train station. Room I had was large and very clean. People with walking difficulties may find difficulty as you have to access the reception by a number of stairs. Other rooms have also to be accessed by stairs and there is no lift. Overall for a short stay of two nights it was fine.

Una soluzione perfetta per stare vicino la stazione ma anche dai punti di interesse principale. Tutto raggiungibile a piedi. L'hotel da fuori sembra vecchiotto ma in realtà le camere sono confortevoli, essenziali senza dubbio ma d'altronde va contestualizzato al fatto che è un due stelle. Está a unas cuadras de la terminal de autobuses, por lo que la ubicación está perfecta, pero no especifica que para entrar al hotel debes subir muchísimos Escalones, y no hay quién te ayude, así que sí vas con muchas maletas, o pesadas, o con alguien con dificultad para subir escaleras este hotel no es la opción más viable. El personal fue amable, no pudimos llegar el día del check in, llegamos a la mañana siguiente, marcamos para avisar y nos recibieron

I would recommend this establishment for anyone visiting Florence, however; be aware this is an old building and if you have a lot of luggage there are no elevators and you climb the equivalent of two flights of stairs. But once you gain access to the reception, you’ll find yourself in a very pleasant area and the patron is a very cheerful helpful guy. The rooms are very nicely decorated with plenty of storage, with en-suite bathrooms and toiletries supplied. It’s worth mentioning that pets are welcome and I took my cat Amélie to this property. Another point I’d like to make, when I checked out the patron very kindly carried my luggage down to street level, perhaps her heard me cussing when I initially had to climb the two flights of stairs 😂. All in all this hotel is excellent value for money, and it is spotlessly clean in the public areas and rooms. It’s also a relatively short walk from the train station, advise don’t use Apple maps and GPS you’ll be sent on a wild goose chase.

Llegue al hotel y me dijeron que mi habitacion no estaba disponible por un problema de cañerias y me desviaron a otro hotel, el cual no tengo claro que ni fuera un hotel legal ya que no aparece en ningun portal ( Booking,hoteles.com) Encontre opiniones muy negativas en Trip advisor y cuando llegue me dijeron que no funcionaba el aire acondicionado ( Dijo que lo arreglaria a las 17 que no me preocupase, pude ver por otras opinions que siempre decia lo mismo). Todo estaba sucisimo ( Toallero, Papel higienico ya utilizado) EL nombre era Residenzza Millenium donde ademas nos trataron bastante mal, asi que decidimos dejarlo todo como estaba e irnos a buscar un hotel alternativo.

La Mejor zona para hospedar

Bien, barrio tranquilo, con menos transito que el barrio histórico, a una calle de la estación de trenes, con las mismas comodidades que hay si te quedas en Duomo, al lado de restaurantes, cafés, bares, de muy buena calidad y más económico, serca de todas las atracciones turisticas y sin el ruido del centro

Ho trovato una situazione molto ordinata ed organizzata, anche per le disposizione delle varie stanze all’interno del presso, molto gradita la pulizia, colazione ottima e gradito l’uso di marmellate e cioccolata di marca, poco gradita la posizione delle tende che lascia troppo vedere all’interno delle camere, meglio mettere un perno dove fissare la tenda per coprire meglio

グーグルでフィレンツェSMN駅から検索すると寿司屋さんにあたりますが、通りの逆方向に50m程行った所にあります。
ホテルの看板はありますが、ホテル名は表札しかないので分かりにくいです。
フロントが2階にあるので、いきなり階段になり持ち上げるのが大変です。
従業員は少々無愛想ですが、価格重視で寝るだけなら充分です。

駅からのアクセス便利なエコノミーホテル

駅から徒歩10分かからない程度とアクセスはなかなか、しかしながら少々不穏な雰囲気を感じられる一帯。早朝や暗くなってからの出歩きは避けた方がいいかなと思いますが、日中出歩く分には問題ありません。
近くにはバールや、手頃なツーリスト用メニューを扱うレストランも多く、駅からの途中にスーパーもあるため滞在は快適でした。旅行者でも利用できるコインランドリーも近くにあります。
建物にはHOTELの看板があったため、立地は比較的わかりやすかったかと。エレベーターはありません。
館内、客室ともに、設備が充実しているとはいえませんが、きちんと整備されており気持ちよく過ごすことができました。
バストイレ別の部屋を予約しましたが、バスルームは部屋からすぐの場所にあり、専用だったので特に不快感もなかったです。お湯の出もよかったです。
それとは別で、客室内に洗面台があるのが大変ありがたかったです。
スタッフの方もみなさん愛想よく、チェックイン、チェックアウトもスムーズでした。
Wi-Fiはたまに繋がらなくなるときがあります。

駅近の満足ホテル

駅からも、空港行きのシャトルバス乗り場からも近く、周辺に小さなスーパーもあり大変利便性の高いホテルです。
部屋も静かで、清潔です。シャワーもきちんと熱い湯が出ます。フィレンツェで美術館巡りをし、疲れて寝に帰るには充分です。スタッフさんも家族的な雰囲気でストレスを感じません。チェックインの時に、地図を渡されホテルから名所までの所要時間など教えてくれました。

駅から近くのホテル
遅い時間のチェックインでしたが大丈夫でした。チエックアウト後に荷物預かりもお願いできました。
シャワーも普通に使え、タオルもありました。
階段しかないので思い荷物があると大変かもしれません。

駅から近い

駅から近いのにとても安い。シャワーもきちんと出るし、清潔。暖房もきちんと効いてました。フロントの方が親切。入口は一階にあり、フロントは二階で、階段を上っていきます。
バスルームに浴槽は付いていません。シャワージェルと石鹸、プラスチックコップ、タオルが備え付けられています。ドライヤーもありました。ベッドは、二月に行ったのですが、寒いときように掛けられる毛布がクローゼットに入っていました。

通りに面した部屋だと、夜中うるさいです。今回内側の部屋だったので、快適に眠れました。
ちなみに、奥の部屋は、建物からいったん外に出て階段を下り、中庭を通ってまた建物に入るという構造でしたので、荷物が重いと大変です。雨の日も。
