We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The hotel is close to the main train station. Just 8 minutes walk from there. The room is super clean and quiet. the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious with a fee. We really enjoyed our time at hotel. Highly recommend.

Overall a fairly pleasant experience. Housekeeping was an issue (blood spots found on sheet, comforter, pillowcase and 2 towels). Had to ask almost every day for tea to be replenished. Stayed 2 weeks and was charged for 2 fried eggs even though we paid for breakfast package (felt like nickle and diming). 1 of the elevators broke down twice. No slippers or iron or robes in the room. For a 4 star hotel, it was not good enough. I'd rate it 3 stars. Overpriced for what it was. That said, the staff was friendly and the location was excellent.

Very fun hotel for those with a sense of adventure, or for those looking for something unique. The room was huge and very clean. The bathroom layout is different, so again if you're looking for a standard hotel, this may not be your place. The lobby atmosphere is very inviting and a great spot to hang out for a break. This property is fun to visit with fun, kitchsy elements to make a great experience. The Heaven room with a balcony had lots of light and space. Similarly the lobby area was a great place to sit and determine your day’s plan with a cappuccino in hand. Reception was helpful especially Sebastian. Housekeeping was fine keeping the room clean overall but failed over four days to refill empty lotion and coffee. The bar makes a great Negroni however the bartenders were a bit more attuned to the younger female customers both times I visited as a solo customer. Location wise, this hotel was perfect as it is walking distance to everything you want without being in the thick of it. I would stay here again without question.

Restaurant in the lobby was convenient, although, there are so many restaurant options just nearby. Location of this hotel was amazing - its near the duomo, the ponte vecchio, and the train station. Staff was friendly, although, there was a wait at check out. We stayed in an inferno room which was quite large with a skylight, but had no blackout curtains for the skylight, but it was fine for us. Room smelled a little like plumbing which was offputting but bearable for a two night stay.

The hotel had an excellent vibe from the moment we entered the underground car park, which is a real bonus for the centre of Florence.
The staff were excellent, the common areas - for food and drinks were really good....and the cocktails, so much fun.
The rooms are obviously quirky with the Welcome to Hell vibe, but the bed was very comfortable and the shower was superb.

The lobby and service are impeccable. Know before you book…the rooms have two themes. Heaven or Hell and they’ve taken Dante’s inferno theme, very literally. For many, the “hell” Thames rooms can be very offensive and satanic. Thankfully, we weee able to switch to a “heaven” themed room fir a fee.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! It was so cool and totally eclectic—every detail felt thoughtfully designed. The “heaven and earth” theme created a unique and immersive atmosphere that really set the tone for the whole experience. The vibe throughout the space was relaxing, creative, and full of personality.

One of my favorite parts? The little bakery in the front! Such a charming touch—and the treats were delicious. It added a cozy, welcoming feel to the whole place.

If you’re looking for something different, stylish, and full of good energy, I 100% recommend staying here!

P.s mine came with a personal rooftop. So freaking cool!!!

A really nice stay. Comfortable, clean, great service by the front desk. We did not try the restaurant or bar, but they did look comfortable and nice. The decor is a bit odd ( I did select this hotel knowing so). The hotel is in a great area of Florence - lots of restaurants, close to a public square and walking distance to many of the historical attractions. The entrance to the Hotel is not obvious. I always felt I was walking into the middle of the restaurant or the coffee bar. I had to ask for directions to the front desk when we arrived. Overall, I would recommend.

Lovely hotel. The staff at the front desk were courteous and helpful. I had an issue with my air con and it was rectified very quickly. The Inferno room with the balcony was absolutely beautiful, so many quirky little details. The Bluetooth speakers in the room were a nice touch too, I thoroughly enjoyed being able to listen to my music and podcasts without having to wear my headphones. My room was cleaned and beds made everyday, including fresh towels. The soaps were divine smelling too!

The facilities were brilliant too. The cinema was showing films from 5pm every evening which was good as the evenings as a solo traveller can be a bit dull sometimes so it was nice to get out of the room and cozy up in the cinema. The Alimentari cafe was superb too, fantastic pastries and sandwiches and a good cup of coffee, I ate there almost every morning. The main dining area was beautiful.

My only peeves with this brilliant hotel was the breakfast, it was a bit of a let down after all the good things I read. Not much in the way of choice for cooked food and the scrambled eggs were questionable but the pastries and coffee were good. The coffee and creamers in the room were not refilled everyday- not the end of the world, but somedays I didn’t fancy leaving the comfy bed just yet! Beyond these two minor things, this hotel was exceptional. I would recommend it for solo travellers - it’s very central, fantastic staff and service and the effort that has gone into each detail is sublime.
