The staff members were so welcoming and did everything to make our stay absolutely perfect. When I return to Florence, I won’t stay anywhere else. Eduardo at breakfast gave the most amazing shopping recommendations and made the stay even more enjoyable. From the front desk staff to the butler team, our stay was the best ever!

St. Regis properties never disappoint. The staff were phenomenal as always. The breakfast was a great way to start the day. And the cocktails from the Winter Garden were amazing (the Klimt was to die for). My only complaint was the shower, in an otherwise perfect room, it was small and cramped. The shower head was too low and I would hit my head (I’m 6’ on a good day).

This is a very oppulent, luxurious hotel. It was sited within walking distance of all the main sites, the bedroom was clean and generous. Excellent decor and fantastic immersion into the florentine experience. Definitely does what it says on the tin.

Good location and allows to explore both sides of the river - the more touristy centric storico with the duomo and uffizi and the quaint oltrarno on the other side.

There are several charming antique shops around the hotel and it’s minutes away from the mainstream boutiques.

Hotel has gorgeous common areas dotted with antiques and has a relaxing spa , butler service and generally friendly staff. They do try and accommodate most of your requests.
The concierge are very good although I found some of their recommendations are more mainstream.

The hotel could do with including more green spaces and also needs some updating to include more modern conveniences whilst maintaining its grand florentine style eg iPod docks , iPads , Netflix compatible TVs and walk in wet showers and larger tubs .

It does not disappoint the st Regis brand and would happily return again . Thank you.

The property was beautiful, the service with concierge as well at the lobby bar and restaurant was horrible. It honestly took over 20 mins from the time you’re este sited to the time someone came to get the order . The staff was dry and honestly not that helpful. The prices were extremely high , I understand it’s a st. Regis but they were outrageously high. I don’t recommend doing any tours with the hotel , we were being charged triple for just the driver. It’s a shame such a high standard hotel has such bad service , I won’t be staying there again.

This is the premier hotel in Florence. After staying at other properties in prior visits to Florence, this is by far the best service and experience. The river view and proximity to the best restaurants and shopping is fantastic. The staff is meticulous with details and friendly upon every request. We left feeling like the slightly higher price was far outweighed by the great value.

Stayed here while on business. Hotel is pricey but what you get is an experience. Bedroom was like an art gallery, view of the Duomo and space, space, space. Outstanding food, public space and staff. On a charming square opposite the Westin and on the Arno. If you have the green spend it here...

I cannot begin to express how well the St Regis Florence took care of us! From check in to the end of our stay. The concierge went above and beyond to take care of all of our needs! The bar and restaurant servers and sommelier went out of their way to make sure we were served well and even gave us some great tips on wineries to visit in the Tuscany area!! Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff! I've stayed at this property several times in the past. Great location right on the Arno River, quiet neighborhood. The property is classically elegant and the staff are extremely well trained and helpful. The suites on the 4th floor are amazing, ours had a balcony overlooking the Arno and our butlers were extremely helpful. This will be our first choice the next time we are in Florence.

Five star rating might be a bit of a stretch (facilities not as nice/ upscale as the Four Seasons, but in our opinion the location is better - on the fringe of the main tourist area rather than right in the middle of the noise, narrow dirty streets, and crowds.) Overall a nice small hotel. Our Premium River-view room was a bit kitschy in period décor, but large and in good condition, nice bathroom. We upgraded to a very nice \"junior\" suite still overlooking the Arno river and the hills to the South and West, a lovely room on the second floor with \"classier\" décor and a bath and a half. Nice-sized room, good shower and separate deep tub, lots of marble, wood floors, sitting area, quite a few tv channels available in English, very comfortable. Butler service would pack/unpack, and bring complimentary coffee in the morning, perform other services upon request.. Food was not great and very expensive - one good note here - Veuve Clicquot available by the glass, served ice cold in a chilled glass. :-) Staff excellent and eager to make the stay enjoyable, Concierge referred us to good restaurants at reasonable non-tourist prices. Overall, satisfied with this hotel, would stay again.

Close to perfection.

This property is located right next to the river just a few short blocks form The Ponte Vecchio in one direction and main piazzas surrounded by high end shopping in another direction. It fronts onto a small piazza with no immediate car traffic nearby. The property is expectantly smartly decorated with great service and an especially inviting main room to accommodate gathering for conversation along with a great food and bar menu and very attentive staff. This property offered close to everything you might expect from this high end brand.

Disappointing

The hotel lobbies, lounges and other exterior areas are very new and luxurious. However, the room itself was disappointing (examples below). Hope the hotel can invest more in the guest rooms rather than hotel exteriors.
#1 dirty towels
We stayed for 4 nights. 2 out of the 4 nights we found stains on our towels. The hotel appologised but on the last day there is still a towel with stain. I think this is probably the best it can be. Towels without stains are my minimum requirement for a hotel with similar rating. The hotel was not able to provide this even after we raised the isssue.
#2 poor design of the room
The room was poorly designed. There was a long corridor inside our room which served no perpose. The wardrobe was hiding behind the bathroom door, which made it difficult to access when the door was opened. No full body mirror. The shower door was blue caked by the urinal.

warm welcome from all the staff, receptionist pointed out all faculties and was very helpful, bottle of sparkling wine in ice in the room as a b'day gift, Butler services were very helpful, especially liked Beatrice but all were helpful (she was the first, so more opps to be helpful). Recommendations for restaurants were excellent for the 2 nights needed. we loved Florence and the hotel was part of that experience, I cant fault anything.

This hotel went over and above to accommodate and assist on our stay there. First our welcome was lovely and our room delightful. The staff was extremely attentive and always available. The management went out of their way to assist when I broke my foot during my stay (not on property but at a nearby historical sight). I can only say good things about this hotel and all who work here.
