I love this hotel and the staff. They are so helpful. They even help me retrieve my delayed baggage from the airport. It’s walkable to all the sightseeing and the tours plus it’s right by the train station.

This was a perfect place to stay! It is close to the train station as well as the bus station where many tours to nearby Pisa and Tuscan wineries depart. Additionally, a special shout out to the kind and honest staff of this particular hotel. My wife had forgotten her new personalized Gucci bag in our room when we checked out. Housekeeping turned it in and the front desk went above and beyond to contact us and return her bag. Thank you so much!

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. It was very close to the train station, laundry service, pizza restaurant we went every day, supermarket ( right next door) around 10-12 min to the city center (walkable) I would recommend this hotel if you are coming from the train station with your luggage.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The room was super small, even for Italy. I could barely squeeze my wheeled luggage between the bed and the bathroom wall when entering the room. The procedure to get to the sink and mirror went like this:
1. The bathroom door opens only 45 degrees before bumping into the sink.
2. You squeeze in and step aside.
3. Close the door.
4. Now you can reach the sink.
5. To see yourself in the mirror, you have to press against the back of the door.

And forget about the window — it faces a tiny internal shaft about 2×2 meters. Honestly, they’d be better off plastering it shut.

Don’t bother.

The hotel is very close to the train station which is convenient and the decor of the hotel was nice and stylish but our room was very tired with wallpaper hanging off the wall, a black mouldy pull cord in the shower and in general needing a makeover but we were too hot and tired to ask to change rooms.

Fantastic renovated hotel, beautiful brand new room, comfortable bed and amenities. The lobby is modern but still with a Tuscan feel. The staff were excellent. Perfect location if you are catching a train from Santa Maria Novella. 10 stars of 10!

Overall the property was excellent for a first time solo traveler like myself. Yes, it is on the older side as far as the furniture and carpet in the room itself, but it is clean and well maintained. The location is literally less than a five min walk from the train station and a 15 min walk to the city center, so easy access to do all of the local attractions a first timer would want to see. The staff was very friendly and were more than willing to help me with questions and my room, despite my less than friendly greeting due to being travel weary. I did not give it a full five stars because I had to step into the shower to close the door of the bathroom to reach the toilet. It did have a large sink in the shower, which was a more recent addition, and that was the clearly the trade off for more counter space but not enough room to move the door while inside the bathroom. A little annoying, but not a big deal and did not impact the overall stay. I would highly recommend a stay here.

One of the issues that I had is that every time you go out and they do the room they turn off their air. They take the card out that was left on after walking for so many hours in the day coming back to a hot room what’s not good And also seems they were bedbugs. I got bites all over my leg.

Stayed for 3 nights and the room was great! Spacious, clean and nicely renovated. You can get water from the refill station at lobby. Super convenient to get around, hotel is very close to the train station. There's lots of food options nearby and a supermarket just beside the hotel.

However, the toilet layout of Room 101 could have been better. Having a bathtub on top of a platform is dangerous and slippery with no handles to hold on to after a shower. Instead of a bathub, do consider building a standing shower in the future.

The hotel was in a very accessible location. All attractions was within walking distance. They offer valet parking if you're traveling with a car. The parking garage was secured and we could leave our luggage in the car. The tiny elivator was a plus. Nice amenities and good view.

Only thing I did not like at all was the shower. Water pressure was not constant and it went from hit to cold about every :40 seconds, then only having a half wall went all over the floor. Now I have to sop up water.

Great location and property. We got a room with a large balcony with a great view of the Duomo. The day we checked in, the shower was not draining, but the staff fixed it quickly. The sofa bed triggered my daughter's allergies. No elevator to the 4th floor, only till 3rd floor.

I honestly don’t know how this property got its 4 stars. The only good thing about this property are its staff, they were friendly and helpful.
The location, and room conditions are like a two star hotel. The rooms, hallways, elevator, stairways need major upgrades. I chose this hotel only due to the reviews and made a big mistake.

Did not interact much with the staff, the room was larger than expected and very clean. We had a comfortable stay here also thanks to the decent sound insulation. The location is quite close to the train station, while accessible it feels a bit unsafe at times.

Great location near the train station and buses and walking distance from the city center. The room was comfortable and spacious and the breakfast was fantastic. The barista even personalized my cappuccino each morning which was a nice touch. The outside doors are locked at night and opened by a staff member when you get there for added safety.

A wonderful and friendly staff. The location is close to the train station and most attractions are within an easy 20-minute walk from the hotel. The walk from the train station to the hotel is a bit sketchy as there seems to be large groups that simply loiter in that area. Once you get to the hotel that does clear up. The hotel is under renovation so there are some construction noises, but only during the day.

The property is well-located near everything, including the main station and restaurants. The staff provides minimal service, and from the minute you check in to the minute you check out, you are unlikely to find someone willing to answer your questions. A very dry attitude. My three stars are for the location and cleanliness.

Very close to train station and the room and bathroom were clean. We were confused when we walked into our room as a section of flooring behind the bathroom looked like a small fire was there. The floor was black and warped. We took a shower soon after and realized it was most likely water damage from the shower setup. The water just shoots out onto the floor and the tiles were missing grout. The AC worked, the staff were so nice, and the bed wasn’t awful so I’d stay again

Great hotel! It's directly next to the train station and conveniently located to attractions. We walked everywhere and always felt comfortable and safe, even after dark. The room was beautiful and comfortable. They don't have a dining option, but had a coffee/cappucino self serve machine and periodically pastries in the mornings if you're up early enough. It is on a busy main road, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper since you may hear sirens occasionally. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay albeit the noise at this hotel. The staff at reception were very welcoming and helpful. Room and bathroom were good size- clean and modern. Tea and coffee provided. Also they have free refreshments ie tea, coffee and cake in the lounge area which is a nice change. Location wise - 50m from Santa Maria Novella train station and easy walk to all the touristy areas. Will definitely stay here again if we do ever return to Florence,

The hotel located right across from the main train station and was walkable to most attractions. There is a convenient store located right outside. Staff was friendly and helpful, they cleaned our room everyday even when we left the room later in the day. They even allowed us to keep our luggages there overnight prior to our check in days. The area did not feel the safest due to being near a train station and the sound proofing is not great but I understand it’s an old building. Overall, it is a great value and I would stay again if I come back to Florence

Perfect spot

This location is so key, especially if you are planning day trips with the train out of Florence. Literally a 30 second walk from the train station, although this was not bothersome at all during our stay. Staff was efficient and friendly. We would stay here again!

Very convenient right next to the train station (but not noisy at all). You can walk to the city center in 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly and check in was very quick. The room was a little small but not a true problem. Only one issue: they don’t have an iron and ironing board in every room, and when we requested an iron from the front desk, it didn’t work and they told me all the other ones were already loaned out.

Ideal for the train station, but very average

Chosen for its location to the train station and being one of the few reasonably priced hotels in the area that looked habitable, but still pretty expensive. The hotel was not great value for money. I thought the room was very tired and in need of a refresh. The bathroom didn't seem quite clean, but it could have been the age of the fittings. Front office staff were super friendly and helpful and it is really well located for the station, airport and close to the city centre.

My room AC wasn’t working and I informed the staff early on in the day before I left the hotel and when I came back that evening it was still the same not working and they said it was working fine but it was clearly not cause it was hot in the room and I heard another person next to me complaining about their AC not working as well but the staff didn’t care. So I went to my room and booked a new hotel at around 9pm and had to move my stuff out to another hotel. And when I was leaving they said the AC in fact was not working in half the building and that they are having someone come to look at it and I said it is too late for that, maybe you should have listened to me early on in the day when I told you instead of waiting till the night. No refund was issued to me. C-Club hotels are terrible.

The hotel itself was fine. The issue was my husband forgot money in a drawer. We called after we checked out. They kept asking for the exact amount. We guessed at 150 Euro but weren’t sure. The said they would check and call back. They did not so we called back 3 times before being told they had our money. We drove there the next day. By that time we had figured out we had left over 250 Euros. When we picked it up we they gave us exactly 150.

Lobby is nice and checkin was easy. Everything past that point was awful-small, dirty, dingy and dark bedroom. Bathroom door would not open all the way, hitting the sink. We did not feel safe or that we could spend the night in that room. We had to find another hotel and move there.
