It was a peaceful stay. Just the pod machine and bar fridge was leaking water but not a bother, I advised via email and an easy fix for maintanence.
The whole resort needs upgrading to put in that wow factor. Lovely stay none the less and my room was clean just a little dusty. Worth a little care and loving touch, this place is more than ideal.
Restaurant staff were so warm and friendly, was looked after & spoilt. You pay for amazing customer service, so well worth it :)

Everything was spotless. Felt like a luxurious break especially because we were there during a stormy weekend…. Staff are so lovely, the food at the restaurant was very nice, the bed was the most comfy cloud I’ve ever slept on. The amenities were brilliant. We are looking for an excuse to go back and check it out in good weather. The pools are so gorgeous we swam in the rain. Such a nice place. I RECOMMEND!!

Lovely villa opposite the golf course, nice and quiet away from the noisy pool area. Kitchen was good and foxtel on tv. We were able to chrome cast Netflix to the tv which was great for the teens. Aircon worked great but water was dripping on the deck from the unit. Check-in was delayed by 2 hours due to being understaffed with the cleaning but they gave us a breakfast next day which was a good compensation. Chef made a lovely omelette and the buffet was good. Pizzas were excellent!

The showers need to be replaced as there was water only trickling out and at the wall connection water spraying from seal in both bathrooms.
The back patio was very untidy with old pot plants, overgrown plants and chairs all around.

The grounds and facilities were great. While the apartment was all we wanted the furniture down stairs had seen better days and the outside table is a safety concern. Also for a 5 star property the cleaning should be a lot better, crumbs in the kitchen, mould in the ceilings and dirty towels.

What a fabulous property. The grounds were well kept. The staff were friendly and accommodating at check-in. From that first interaction, I knew it was going to be a great stay. The kids were happy to just play in our condo or having a swim - hopping between the indoor/ outdoor pools. We had a relaxing weekend and next time we’re here I want to try the day spa and make it to the beach.

Outside of the strange and disappointing customer service and mould/insect filled room, we did like the peace and quiet while we enjoyed the pools, tennis courts and golfing facilities. The hotel had a massively hands-off approach to dealing with problems and had no interest in trying to make our stay better. This is also the first time I’ve had to pay to have my room cleaned even when they call themselves a “five star hotel”.
Even though we did enjoy the surrounding area and aspects of the hotel, we were left with a sour taste in our mouths by the end of it.
We did truely appreciate Melissa doing everything she could to make our stay the best it could be.

Check in staff who were talking about me when I returned to pick up my one key!!! For a family getaway it was good. Not much to do at the resort in the evenings. the one thing that I didn’t like this that they don’t have anything in the bar fridge (just a small milk for coffee) not even a bottle of water to drink. That’s the disappointment.

Property was in a great location, short drive to the Entrance for more dining options. Being able to walk to Magenta Beach and enjoy a walk along the beach was good for a relaxing stroll, had the weather been a little better when I arrived it would have been a nice spot to sunbake & have a dip in the water. Gym was well equipped. Room a little basic but did its job as somewhere to rest and shower.

Our experience at Barretts Restaurant onsite was amazing ~ great food, excellent service and convenient.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t favourable so we missed out using the outdoor lagoon, which was a shame because it looked beautiful.
If I could make 1 suggestion, it would be to better maintain the cleanliness of the glass in the main building especially the indoor pool area, sauna and restaurant because since it overlooks the golf course, the dirty glass doesn’t give justice to the views.
All aspects of what you would want in an accommodation were met and highly recommended.

It's easy to see the Pullman may have been a 5 star resort decades ago but it isn't today. The reception area and restaurant are well maintained but the apartment was not: spider in the bath, dead cockroaches, carpet needs replacing, dishwasher not operational and not repaired during our 5 day stay, thin towels, etc... The EV charger was not operational during our stay; apparently they have a few new ones scheduled to be installed.
The food at Barretts restaurant is pretty good but the menu isn't extensive enough to eat there more than a couple of times. Unfortunately that means driving for 10 minutes South to the Entrance or North to Budgewoi/Toukley.
All up, the grounds and common areas are lovely. We didn't play golf but the course looks well maintained. The room badly needs a refresh and driving for meals meant we spent too long running around rather than relaxing (which is why we go to a facility like this). We might come back for a 2-3 day long weekend but wouldn't stay longer than that.

We hifhly recommend having cordless vacuums in each property. We were infested with moths the first night snd i couldn't clean up the dead ones, had to call cleaners to clean them. Outdoor sesting area could have been cleaner, full of spider webs and bugs. Aircon wasnt working in the main room and the shutters couldnt be opened as they were broken. Also the sloding door track was filthy and full of moths, mainly alive.

The indoor pool was clean and just warm enough. The sauna was also clean and heated very well. It was very quiet at night, so easy to sleep and the place was generally well maintained. The only thing we found missing was a bin in the kitchen/living area but we could use one from the bathroom so no big deal. Overall, we would stay again.

The only thing I liked is the area. The property is clearly not maintained. We stayed in Villa 1105, and to start with, the property was dirty: dust everywhere, the bench tops in the kitchen were sticky and I don’t even want to sit on the sofa. The taps in the toilet don’t work. I had to turned in the switches underneath the sink and then water came and then to turn them again to turn off the water. The shower taps for the secondary bathroom were installed incorrectly. I turned on “hot” tap and let it tan for 10mins only cold water came out, only then I figured out that the taps were wrong. One of the front desks ladies was nice, the other simply doesn’t want to be there. I won’t come back to this hotel and I dont recommend.

I and my husband visited for my husband’s birthday but this hotel was old and not clean. Sometime noisy out side. Bathroom was not clean and when turned on shower it came disgusting smells. Even no complementary water so very disappointed.

We absolutely loved staying at the Pullman Magenta, the staff were so lovely and helpful, the villa was amazing, comfortable and beautiful view of the pool. The only negative was the staff at the golf shop, he was very rude to my husband regarding him playing golf and using the driving range and my husband felt very belittled and angry.

Only thing was it was up stairs and they knew we had a newborn so that was a little difficult to manoeuvre the pram and bags etc but it wasn’t a huge bother, just something to consider.
