Clean comfortable room, very quiet. Didn’t use the balcony as very over looked. Hotel very clean. Breakfast was great, a really good variety of options on office. Service was inconsistent amongst staff. Great hotel location for all the sights, you can walk everywhere. Close to tram stop for 20min journey to airport terminal.

The staff was very friendly. The room had no resemblance to the pictures shown on the website. On the website it said that they have a/c, which they have, but failed to mention that it works only a few months of the year and when we stayed there was no a/c and it was hot.
The bathroom was good.

It is located just next to the main train station and very easy to walk to almost all tourist attractions in Florence. The staffs are very helpful and friendly! The heater in the room was not functioning well one night during my stay, and the hotel quickly helped to settle the issue although it was late at night. The breakfast provided was really satisfying! I will definitely recommend others to stay here in Florence!

The hotel is in a great location,walking distance to the train station and the bus station is around the corner.
Many restaurants and shops within walking distance.
The room was nice,it is a bit noisy if you have a floor above your room,but otherwise fine.
The breakfast is very good,and the terrace upstairs is beautiful.

Very charming, old world hotel. Loved the little lounge area stocked with beverages and snacks, and a library room for a social space. Cocktail lounge was lovely and had some nice outdoor seating. Breakfast far exceeded my expectations - lots of choice and nice seating. Service was great everywhere. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean and well air-conditioned. Super close to the train station and very walkable to Dumomo, Uffizi, etc. A little creaky/less soundproof at times on account of the hotel age - but the charm more than makes up for that. I would very happily stay here again!

Clean hotel, although on the older side. Comfortable bed and soft pillows (harder to find than you would imagine) It is near train station, but I found it to be safe to walk the streets after dark (not too late). Good security as front desk in direct line of sight of door. Front desk helpful with restaurant recommendations, wake up calls etc. I had to leave early and they even gave me a \"to go\" box of breakfast foods. I was there for only one night but in same circumstances would be happy to return.

Our stay at the Adler was great. The reception staff was especially helpful. Always friendly and eager to help with anything we asked since we had never been to Florence, One young man offered to get “David” tickets and we didn’t have to do anything. True customer service. The breakfast at the hotel was good and had something for every taste. I did miss cut up fresh fruit. But a small thing. The room was fine and had a nice fairly large bathroom, good shower water pressure and all the usual bathroom toiletries for travelers. Good location too. I would highly recommend staying at the Adler Cavalieri.

This hotel is the best hotel we have while we are in Italy:
Great location - near train station and walking distance to major tourist sites
Delicious breakfast and good ambience
Clean facilities
Exceptional customer service - they let us leave our luggages for almost a day even we checked out we were treated for snacks and use the facility while we wait for out train :-)
Just a simple details in our that made our stay awesome - the toilet paper is scented (lavender), nice shampoo and conditioner, delicious biscotti for us to have when we checked in, comfortable bed and very spacious room !

Great location, staff was helpful. However, my phone was unplugged in my room so the staff never got ahold of me to get back about a tour I asked about. Also, someone woke me up in the middle of the night knocking on my door, which was frightening. Maid service carts were in the hallway I was staying in 24/7 so that wasn't the greatest thing to see when walking to/from my room.

We recommend Hotel Adler Cavalieri (Florence)

We have stayed at Hotel Cavalieri several times before, but always when arriving into Florence via train or bus, and not driving into Florence. The hotel is very quick walk from the train station although you should be weary of the unsavory persons in the streets around the train station. That isn't to say you wont find GREAT restaurants and other services in the neighborhood.
The hotel staff are very courteous and accommodated all of our requests. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bar is inexpensive and the kitchen food is very good.

If you are looking for a Hilton or Marriott level hotel this is not for you but for a short stay this boutique style hotel is ideal.
It is conveniently placed and easy 15 minutes walk to the Duomo a couple of minutes from the station.
An excellent breakfast offering, clean comfortable room and friendly staff. We would stay again

The room is big with very well kept older classic furniture. The restroom has a huge tub and the shower pressure is great. The restroom is full of marble tile while the bedroom quarters are wood floors. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is on the main street and within walking distance to almost everything. The train station is literally a four minute walk and the hotel has a variety of restaurants and shops down the street on the main street of the hotel. The hotel Supply’s house slippers, extra blankets, extra pillows and your restroom toiletries like shampoo’s and ect. The front desk checking people are all multilingual and speak very good English. There are a variety of seating areas at the hotel and if you want your breakfast delivered to your room it is a two euro charge. Very convenient for anyone who wants to sleep in. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant service was very attentive. We did not see the gym but did walk around he promises to see all the different seating areas and bar that is open very late. This would be considered an upscale Hotel four star in my book. It’s older but extremely well-maintained with tapestries and sheets and pillows all matching fine quality materials. The room came with a fully packed refrigerator and a coffee maker in the room with a vanity to sit down and relax do your studies or make up. Over all I would highly recommend this for your stay in Florence because its fantastic location and the service is great.

When we arrived our room was scorching hot and there was no AC available. Front reception did nothing to accommodate. This lead us to not sleep due to opening windows and the noise from road. Next morning we went to shower and there was no water pressure causing no showers. We had asked front desk to accommodate us in some way and they just told us to contact third party we booked through and did nothing to make our stay more comfortable.

As this was our first time in Florence we wanted a hotel close to the train station so we would be able to have easy access when going on. This hotel was literally around the block from the train station yet out of the way enough to be quiet. We stayed for 2 nights and explored Florence. Recommendations as to where to eat were great and the breakfast which was included in the hotel was great. Lovely interior and good sized rooms. Our group found this to be a great hotel to stay in.

The hotel is convenient near railway terminal Firenze SMN, less than 10
mns walk, and near to most import see sights of Florence.

The check in is at 2, pm I arrived about 2.10, the friendly staff did not take more than 5 mns to take to my room.

The rooms are spacious enough to be comfortable and to rest. The rooms have good amenities and little bar with drinks all type.

My room had a little balcony with a limited view, however enough to have a drink and relax.

Definitely I will come back to this Hotel.

The staff was very nice. Breakfast was average, but that's expected at a buffet hotel meal. My only complaint is that they have a sign they leave up all the time that says \"cocktail hour at 5:00\" but it doesn't exist. We tried on two days at 5:00 and this was nowhere to be found. The facility was clean though and our room was cleaned each day with fresh towels.

Easy check in and out. Very nice hotel within walking distance to many Florence attractions. It's very close to the train station. The staff is very pleasant and when I checked out before the breakfast service began, they gave me a bag of goodies to take with me on the train. It was also very quiet. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is amazing. It is literally right around the corner from the main train station. Super convenient location to take the bus. The room is clean and well prepared. The shower was hot and good pressure. Staff was friendly and helpful. Love the extra touch of providing slippers to use in the room. Wifi was good - there were no issues. The breakfast has decent selection (eggs, bacon, toast, juice, etc.) and we were very happy with our stay. 10/10 would stay here again.

One thing to note is the typo in the hotel.com for the room size which is not 116sqm, hotel.com, pls check your description before posting.

PRO: exquisitely furnished room and public areas. breakfast buffet was plentiful and multi-national. high level of attentive service. not an inexpensive option, but one of the best in the area. no internet station, only WIFI, which was so slow we were not able to use it to confirm our outbound flight. CON: the proximity to the bus and train terminals is brilliant for quick access; the proximity to the bus and train terminals attracts a good number of undesirables. we would be hesitant to walk these streets at night; stepped over a sleeping inebriate one evening near the hotel. to be fair, the same or worse is the case in any major city in America.

Close to the train station about 5 mins. Close to city center about 10 mins. Can get the city sightseeing bus at the train station. Breakfast was awesome!! The staff was extremely helpful with bringing me an iron and board, changing my dollars to euros, purchasing my sightseeing ticket, etc. LOVED the comfort kit. Everything was perfect. I couldn't have been more satisfied .

The breakfast was amazing. The service throughout was great. The location was the best but I would recommend to change the directions on the website. It took me all around when it could have simply said take the stairs, walk towards via (can't remember the name) and you make a right on via scala at the 3 way light. Hotel is a few doors down.

Excellent service. Robert - front desk- went out of his way to accomodate me. Breakfast buffet was excellent, food warm and fresh. Lots to eat and food always fresh. The hotel has a very cute court yard to eat in and/or to spend time in during the day. Hotel also has a nice tranquil garden on the 1st floor and many relaxing lounging areas and bars on 2 floors. Building very old, has a \"Victorian\" feel to it. Rooms are not that soundproof, so could be a bit of a problem if you are a light sleeper and have some loud guests next door, but I would still not hesitate to return!

Nice hotel very close to track station and city center. Only complaint is that the beds were not comfortable at all. I had a king size bed and the mattress gave me a lot of difficulty falling asleep and back pain the next day.

A very good stay, overall. Hotel is just a block away from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station, making for a convenient and easy walk from the station. The room was beautiful, with a nice little patio/balcony area. Breakfast was excellent. Great service and friendly, helpful staff. Bed and mattress were very comfortable and allowed for a couple of good nights' rest, compared to other Italian hotels I've stayed in. I would stay here again when I visit Florence.

Okay hotel !!

The room was very okay types , nothing very great about the hotel ... the only good point was it was 5 mins walk from
The train station and 10 mins walk from many major attractions !

Close to station

Tried to eat at the restaurant for dinner one night but it was closed for some reason. Good buffet breakfast. Great location close to train station and central market.
