The hotel is in a great position and really convenient for exploring the centre of Bologna. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable but maybe a little 'tired' in terms of decoration and maintenance. Nice comfortable bed and lovely toiletries.

The only hiccough was there is only limited hours for checkin & the staff was late. The emergency number we were provided was not working. Once the staff arrived everything was sorted out quickly. They were very helpful in recommendations for dinner, sights to see & help with taxis. I would recommend staying here!

Great location in the historic center. Comfortable, spacious room, and friendly, helpful staff. But, as noted by others, the staff are only there from 3 to 7, so you're mostly on your own. That worked well for us.

This is a perfect little boutique hotel very close to the old town. Walkable to everything. The room was very comfortable with memory foam mattress. Taxi was able to drop us off and pick us up right at the front door. Nespresso maker in the room and two free water bottles. Recommend highly for easy going travelers.

I had a horrible experience because the walls are so thin and you can hear everything from next room. I liked the hotel, it’s very stylish but when I got 3 college students next door, who were talking loudly and it felt like they are in my room. Management couldn’t do anything and I had to change the hotel in the morning. The manager apologized but I didn’t get a refund for 2 unused nights. So I would not recommend this hotel unless they do soundproofing, right now your stay would depend on your neighbors. What a shame.

Amazing location! Walk down a half block to all the shopping and monuments in Bologna. Yet the building is quiet and feels secluded. The best of both worlds. Clean and simple rooms with all the basic amenities needed (espresso machine, mini fridge, bathroom supplies). Pull out couch in our room was not comfortable for the adults but the kids had no complaints as they fell asleep immediately after a day of walking about. Very friendly and flexible staff greeted us at the door and even had the perfect dinner recommendation for our family with dietary restrictions.

This has to be the strangest room ive stayed in. I booked at spa room and it had what appeared to be a sauna steam room but no instruction on how to use it or if it was to be used. It felt like there was an unusable room inside my room. It actuality looked like a 2 tombs. Odd, also the ac was not working the last night. Location was great but thats all that i enjoyed from this room. The staff was friendly but due to my arrival time i never interacted with them in person.

Our only problem was that the room we were allocated (room 101) was not the same one as we were shown on the booking website. It had an outside area which we could not use due to the wet weather when we arrived and during our stay.

very centrally located, they do not warn you that the hotel in a ZTL zone, and cannot even arrive in front of the entrance to load or unload your bags if you drive. Eventually, when you get to chat with the reception lady, she will tell you that there are garages around where you can park. If there was a registration for ZTL, there was no mention. I parked half a mile away and that problem was solved. In terms of staying, I found my room charming and clean with the very comfortable bed positioned on a platform with access via a short set of steps. I had no problem with that, but my companion, up in age and having to get up sometimes during the night, felt unsafe. The bathroom was pristine and appeared brand new, but the shower stall was clearly of a different quality (!) with the walls that looked like they were peeling off and overall unpleasant. The breakfast space is very modern, super clean and creative and artsy. There is no breakfast, just the possibility of making coffee (we were told this is an affittacamere) and a double espresso is good for me to get me going (although I chose not to have it there). Overall, it's a great location, with good design and a steep price. Oh, I was forgetting that the concierge we had was absolutely charming and made the whole experience delightful.

This place was so spacious and conveniently located right in the heart of Balogna, walking distance to everything. The artwork and decor is fabulous and the room accommodations were everything we needed. We did have a little issue with our ac not being on but my daughter was able to get on a chair and turn it on. Shower was nice and hot, loved all the mirrors and outlets. Had a mini fridge and coffee station which was great although I couldn’t figure out how to make it work (my daughter made one and it worked but then it wouldn’t make a second one so I’m not sure what was happening but it’s all good. Espressos are accessible all over the city for cheap so it was no big deal. The beds were very comfortable with memory foam mattress. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

This was a lovely modern conversion of an old building really nicely appointed. Slightly unfortunate that the only natural light was from skylights, there were no windows to look out of or to open. The staff were wonderful and their communication (via whatsapp) was excellent. I'd stay there again

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The location is down a quiet side street, but right in the heart of Bologna and a 2 miniwalk to Piazza Maggiore. We arrived around 2 pm and our room was ready so we could check in early. The woman on reception was very friendly and helpful and spoke great English. The room was large and clean with everything you need. The only tiny negatives were the shower was a bit erratic and the walls were thin, but overall this hotel is absolutely great.

The hotel is located in the best position right in the old town of Bologna, but still in a quiet residential street. As the building is heritage listed, they are unable to do anything about sound proofing the rooms so there is a lot of foot fall, creaking floor boards and noise transfer from room to room. The team at the hotel were very, very helpful and always extremely friendly, willing to help where possible. You can choose how often you would like your room cleaned, it is a very clean hotel. The other great idea is the open, shared kitchen space on the first floor, where you can heat up food, make tea & coffee and sit in another area rather than your room. Overall is it a lovely property and run very well.

Two nights was hardly enough to enjoy beautiful Bologna. This location is perfect. All the main things are very close. The service was excellent. No complains at all. I would totally stay here again. And will visit Bologna again.

To begin, this is not a hotel or inn. It is more of an Airbnb without the kitchen inside. We did get there earl with car and bags. No one answered door.They are very clear they open at 3, but we were hoping to put our suitcases in and go. The Receptionist did respond through Whats App. Luckily we use that. She was on her way. She was kind and very helpful. She even got us in our room earlier. The facility is artsy and interesting. You must have your own combo to enter. Parking is a 15 min walk. You cannot drop or roll bags to this place. Do not bring your car. Do not bring big luggage. We are gone for weeks, so this is what we had. Finally, no internet. Not great and it was never fixed. It was very central, and a nice cafe was just down the street. I found the room very well finished and comfortable, and shower facilities were first class.
On the down sides a few minor things emerged. It was not clear how we could return to our room from the lobby as there were three stairs from the lobby - having a sign in place would have solved this. Bedside lamps would have been good, as only light from the cieling is available.

Fantastic location, 2 minutes from piazza maggiore. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful service. More of a boutique hotel - only has 6 rooms. Art work is a nice touch. Perfect as a base to explore the city. No breakfast included and shared kitchen area was closed during our stay but there are plenty of great cafes just round the corner.

Boutique hotel is a good description with an impressive galleried open lounge and breakfast area with masses of modern art. Our room was spacious also with modern fittings and art. I think though looks mask some lack of practicality. There are no reading lights, only one chair and what looks like a dining sideboard which cannot not be used as a desk and has drawers too small to be useful for clothing. The bathroom has an long stylish basin but this does not hold water- not good for shaving - and water is only lukewarm after 5 mins running, an enormous waste of water. The glass window between shower and room is most off putting! Overall good but an opportunity missed to be excellent. Good breakfast!
