The room we stayed in did not feature in any of the photos the hotel shows online - I booked a standard double. It did not have a safe as advertised. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The window opened out onto an outdoor terrace space that was used by others staying at the hotel (people could drink and smoke on the \"terrace\") resulting in the curtains in our room being drawn 24/7 for privacy. There was no bedside lamp, but did have a very dim light above the headboard of the bed. The fan in the bathroom did not work, meaning the mirrors were constantly steamed up - the shower also leaked. The floors were dirty and dusty, soles of our white socks were black if we walked around the room with no shoes on. There were no plug sockets on either side of the bed, the room had a general lack of sockets (one above the TV and one next to the desk, the fridge - which was not very cold - took up the usage of the other socket).
Very poor experience at this accommodation. I highly recommend looking elsewhere or booking a \"premium\" room so that you definitely avoid the room I was given. It was not worth the money.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. I’m truly shocked at all of the positive reviews. We travel a lot and certainly do not have high expectations or unreasonable standards, but this place was bad in every way. The room was dirty and infested with bugs, not to mention MUCH smaller than the photos depict. We asked to switch rooms due to the bug issues, as we were covered in bug bites. They offered us a bug repellent, which didn’t worked and smelled horrible. They did let us change rooms, but the second room was even worse. Not only was that room also full of bugs, and we continued to suffer horrible bites all over, but the bathroom was also full of mold and the shower was so small it was essentially unusable. The property is also listed as “non-smoking”, but the entire hotel reeked of cigarettes, and there are even ash trays provided on the terrace. I am also unsure why the other reviews describe this property as “conveniently located”, as it is actually quite out of the way from any of the popular tourist attractions. Also limited food options nearby, and the food that is around was not very good. HORRIBLE experience, and the staff did not care at all.

The bathroom was small and the door hit the bed when you opened it. It was good to have a kettle tea and coffee in the room as well as a fridge. From reading the reviews I thought it would be a bit closer to the centre, but is was just a 20-25 min walk. The room was dated and could do with a refurb.

Chambre avec balcon (patio) tres basic que nous partagions avec d autres, meubles vieillots , pas de séchoir à cheveux, lit et oreillers pas confortables, trop loins du centre touristique. Personne avant 9hrs am et le soir , donc jamais réussi a avoir coupon pour déjeuner. Quelques cafés instantanés thé et 2 bte d eau seulement C etait juste ok je ne retournerai pas.

The property was very unique in its style. The staff were very friendly and gave us a map and information about places to eat. There was a kettle and a selection of teas and coffee which was a bonus.

The only thing that I would criticise is the pillows. The pillow was extremely hard and I had to replace it with the towels because I could not sleep.

I wasn’t sure if I’ve made a good choice, and actually that’s was my first impression, I saw some imperfections that only needed to tell the management and they just spent all the effort to make us comfortable and they just did it!, it’s not a 5 star hotel but they treat you as a 6 stars guess, definitely I will use it when I come back. 10/29/2023

Florence is expensive. Taking that into account, this was a good location for the money. It had everything we needed, nothing fancy but all well kept and mantained. Tatiana was great at receiving us by providing all details about the place plus how to get around the city using an app to get discounts on restaurants. Thanks Tatiana!

We found the room to be dull, it doesnt feel and looked cleaned. There was a very small TV. Saw 2 live roaches in the bathroom. Heavy noisy doors when opening and closing.
Fast Internet connection.
You have to go 3 blocks away for breakfast and limited choices.

Pleasant Stay

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Florence. It is about a 20min walk into the centre with all of the restaurants/shops. It is easy to find when you leave the hotel if you go straight to the train station and follow the roads around. The hotel was spacious and as described on the website. It’s not very modern but it has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and spoke good English! Very good value for money!

We would recommend, but if you stay in the luxury room you would be right next to a main road for traffic noise in which you may overcome in a day or two. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location with a 15min walk to train or bus station.

Nice hotel walking distance to tourist attraction.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly. The hotel is in a good location, only 10 minutes walk (850m) from Firenze Santa Maria Novella station, but if you feel a bit lazy there lots of buses that stop almost in front of the hotel. Also from the train station you can walk to the majority of tourist attractions. The room was clean and had an old, but tasteful decor, it had a homely feel.

Two nights in Florence

Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, same with the lobby and stairs. Its a building renovated into a hotel/b&b so common little things nothing major.

Quality of service: We noted on our booking that we would be arriving on a late train into Florence, and that they should email us any information we need. They emailed asking the exact time we'd arrive, I told them we'd be there by 10:15 pm. We received no further emails. We arrived one minute early. There was no one at the desk, the buzzer got no response, the only thing that was there was a stick-it note saying call these numbers for info. Finally after buzzing and waiting 10 minutes to make sure no one was showing up. I was about to call but first I thought I'd try pushing at the door. Apparently we talked with another guest and they hadn't properly secured the door so we were able to get in off the street... Then inside (which except for the unclosed door we couldn't have reached) was a piece of paper with my name, and keys to a room. Inside was a double bed when we requested two separate beds, we also tried calling the numbers from the phone inside. Got no answer.

Hotel amenities: The air conditioner is okay, in the room we were in most of the path of the air was deflected by a cabinet which meant one part of the room got the ac the other not as quickly.

Hotel location: Pretty good. less then 20 minutes walk to train station.

When I showed up to check in the man at the desk told us there were no rooms available and asked if anyone told us this, obviously not. We had to go to another hotel, which no one wants to hear, especially in the heat with luggage. But the man walked us to the hotel they switched us to and got us settled in to the Antica Posta. It was down the street from the train station so that was convenient at least. The room had huge bath towels which was a plus, and extra pillows, but the beds were impossible to put together. A nice woman brought us a small breakfast each morning at the time we requested. The wifi worked relatively good and with enough browsing I could always find a movie on tv in English.

Beautiful, comfortable and clean hotel

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel. We had a three bed room, which had a double bed in the main room, and a single in the smaller room off the main room. The bathroom and rooms were very clean, cool (perfect for the hot summer) and the facilities were great. It is about a 15 minute walk into the main area of town, which was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helped us with information about florence and any directions.

Great staff, sub-par rooms.

The staff is amazing. They are kind, wiling to help, funny, and extremely helpful. They are a little absent though. The staff is only available from 8 AM to 7 PM supposedly but good luck tracking them down if they are away from the desk. Unfortunately all the friendliness in the world does not make up for the less than stellar accommodations. The hotel entrance is lovely, however, all of the rooms are at least one steep flight of stairs up, with no elevator. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. They feel more like futons or cots than mattresses. But the beds are not the worst part. The bathrooms are extremely frustrating. You can turn around in the shower, after you've shimmed into it, but don't even think about bending over and cross shaving off your list ladies. I would say overall this hotel was okay. Breakfast is made up of yogurt, bad coffee, packed breads, and stale cereal. It's enough to get by for the day but not worth the cost if breakfast isn't already included in your room rate. I do have to say that the establishment is clean though! Just beware of mosquitoes and don't keep your windows open. Eating alive the first night and it kept getting worse. If you are planning to be a busy tourist, the room will do for sleeping but not overly comfortable.

Noise but near Florence Central

This is a bouquet hotel near Florence station and central tourist area, by walking about 15 mins or by bus No. 22. Our room is very basic, at lack of any facility, not even a mug. The room is facing street on 1st floor above ground floor. very noise from the traffic.
We travelled in October so the price is good compares to other hotel near central.

Nice hotel, good value for money

We had a great nights stay in this hotel! The bathroom was spotless and a good size. The beds were very comfy! The staff were great and so friendly and allowed us to store our bags until 8pm giving us a key to even let ourselves back into the hotel.
It is about a 10-15 minute walk into the centre if florence.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone but especially if you are only staying a night or two and are looking for something cheaper.

The hotel was nice but a little too far from the train station to walk to. Once we got the bus system down it literally drops you off just 1/2 block away. Make sure to buy bus tickets in the cigaret stands and they're 1/2 off. There are 2 little bodegas about 1 block away each which was nice to get drinks and snacks. The windows are super thins so you do hear some traffic but after walking all day we just passed out. Nice place to stay for the price.

People are very nice and accomodating...

Our stay was 5 nights. PLUSSES: the people we very, very nice + accommodating! Amenities: very clean, a good bed, nice breakfast + very pleasant little outdoor patio. MINUSSES: they are a good 20-minute walk from the Stazione Santa Maria Novella (SMN) train station, which is the hub of everything. The hotel is in the opposite direction of all places of interest - it is in a residential area. We found walking easier than trying to connect with the bus. Their brochure + web presence is nicer than reality = our expectations there were not met. With this all said, the price was right, the people were great, and it was ok to walk off our pizza and pasta - no kids to keep happy! (I just missed going out and meandering/shopping when my husband was tired and I wasn't.) Ciao!

Walking to the hotel with your luggage is painful experience. It take about 25mins walk from the station. taking bus Frm the station is much easier which we only explore after we have check in by walking. Receptionist a young teenage is not well verse in English. Therefore bit difficult for asking direction. Mainly use our own way exploration. Breakfast - free flow of coffee. Quite a good selection of coffee. Some bread, yogurt, cereal and biscuit. Should able last you for a morning. Frm the hotel walking distance to bus stand which bring you to the main station, duomo and the area. If you want quiet stay and diff experience against hotel than this is the place for you. If you want near station, there is plenty of choice ard the station area however it seems a busy street.

観光の中心地から徒歩30分くらいの距離ですが、中央駅まで歩けますし、バス停がすぐそばにあるので、バスを使えば、移動も楽でした。
部屋は狭いですが、毎日掃除してくれますし、暑い夏にエアコンがついていることは必須条件でした。

Högt pris för låg standard

Väldigt litet rum (Bokade vanligt standardrum). Fanns inte plats att ens öppna våra resväskor så vi fick lägga väskorna under sängen för att kunna röra oss i rummet. Bad om att få byta rum men den var inte möjligt. Hotellet ligger ca 10-15min promenad från stadskärnan vilket kändes ok. Rummet kändes rent och fräscht men var i stort behov av renovering! Trevlig personal i receptionen. Sammanfattat, dålig standard för det priset vi betalade.

La vicinanza con il centro storico pur essendo fuori da esso è il punto forte del soggiorno, in meno di mezz'ora ti trovi nelle principali attrazioni, ancora meno se si sfruttano i mezzi di trasporto. La colazione si effettua fuori dalla struttura, in compenso la stanza è fornita di un comodo bollitore per bevande calde e piccoli snack. Molto gradevole il patio interno. Massima disponibilità per deposito bagagli.

Non è certo che poi la camera ci sia…

Non si fa così! Ho prenotato in serata, ma al quasi mio arrivo, ero a 300 m dall’albergo, ricevo una telefonata nella quale mi si dice che la camera non c’è più e che il check in erra chiuso, visto che l’albergo era completo. Nessuna collaborazione, nessuna voglia di trovare una soluzione anche in un’altra struttura anzi mi è stato detto di rivolgermi al sito per un reclami! Era sera, eravamo stanchi ed abbiamo camminato un paio di km per raggiungere l’hotel. La camera era già stata pagata in anticipo ed era non rimborsabile! Assurdi!
Per fortuna, la sera stessa, Hotels ha trovato una buona soluzione e l’operatrice con cui ho parlato è stata splendida. Non mi era mai successa una cosa come questa! Cose che NON devono accadere!

Buen lugar para descansar mientras se visita Florencia. A 10 minutos de la estación principal y a unos 20 del centro andando. Hay cerca supermercado, y la parada de autobús también está cerca. No es un hotel como tal, más bien es lo que en España llamamos \"pension\" o algo similar. El personal es muy agradable. Hay calefaccion en invierno, la cama es grande y cómoda ( añadiría más almohadas) se ve que lo están reformando, y está quedando chulo. Personalmente solo he echado en falta un microondas. Cogimos habitación Deluxe, la primera noche nos dieron una normal, al comentárselo a la chica , al día siguiente nos dieron una más nueva y bonita. El desayuno algo escaso, aunque suficiente y lo que hay, está rico. Si lo que quieres es un sitio cómodo para descansar, este es tu sitio.

Contenta della struttura,camera piccola ma bella pulita e confortevole...lo staff molto disponibile e simpatico...peccato x la sala colazione (un po piccola) vi auguro di ampliarla presto.xche la colazione è perfetta!

距離Firenze S.M.N車站算近，搭公車2站就到，走路15-20分鐘。要到聖母百花教堂、中央市場那一帶，大約走20分鐘，有公車站，也方便。周圍乾淨整潔、環境安全。櫃檯人員相當熱心，提供旅遊美食資訊，房間溫馨，屬於簡便式。

Fantastica esperienza!

Personale gentile e disponibile. Camera spaziosa, arredata in modo suggestivo. Originale l'idea delle camere a tema dedicate a personaggi storici fiorentini. Posizione strategica esattamente a metà strada tra stazione e centro storico, comodissima per ogni spostamento sia a piedi sia in autobus (fermata a 200 m) ; unico punto negativo: essendo esattamente su una strada risulta rumoroso con le finestre aperte, problema risolto da doppi vetri. Ottima esperienza!

Chambre pas du tout insonorisée, deux nuits compliquées et non réparatrice en terme de sommeil.

Dicembre 2016: 3 giorni a Firenze (7-9 2016)

Piccolissimo B and B a 10 min a piedi dal centro.
Camera 209 sul retro (! importante): nessun rumore, pulita e confortevole (consigliata).
Il freddo ha un po' rovinato il soggiorno sia in B and B che in FIrenze. Non ce lo aspettavamo così pungente e penetrante.
Siamo state bene ( 4 persone x 2 camere) ad eccezione del riscaldamento un po' sottomisura, comunque vivibile.
La città è a misura d'uomo e tutto è raggiungibile passeggiano, le distanze appaiono enormi tra un luogo e l'altro ma in realtà sono minime!
Musei e chiese: prenotate con largo anticipo tutto (biglietterie con code infinite ed orari assurdi, in particolare per le chiese, in una città d'arte e turismo come Firenze!!!! Inconcepibile!!!!). Affidatevi, almeno per una mattina o un pomeriggio, ad una guida che via farà scoprire cose insolite e particolari (la nosta guida: Romano Teoducci - 333 9358798 - suggerita e raccomandata: chiedete quello che volete fare e lui vi accontenterà sicuramente: fuori dagli schemi! Gli Uffizi li potete anche visitare con indicazioni scritte o visita guidata con cuffiette, in ogni idioma, della Galleria ), Non perdetevi Il Mercato Centrale, molto innovativo e piacevole, è stato per il nostro soggiorno un punto di riferimento per i pranzi veloci. Consigliata (fuori dagli schemi turistici) una cena alla \"Trattoria Paradiso\". Accoglienza famigliare, empatica, cibo e vino super per un prezzo pìù che ragionevole! Non fatevi attirare dai soliti \"nomi\" di trattorie fiorentine!!!!!
