I recently stayed at your hotel and wanted to share some observations and suggestions that could improve the overall guest experience.

Safety Around the Building: I noticed some individuals loitering near the building entrance, which felt a bit uncomfortable. There were security staff inside, but it might be more effective to have them patrol outside periodically, especially near entrances and exits.

Parkade Conditions: While I understand the parking facility may not be directly owned by the hotel, many guests use it. The lighting is quite dim, and the elevators were not working during my stay. It would go a long way in making guests feel more valued and safe if hotel security could occasionally patrol the area or if the hotel could collaborate with the parkade operator to improve conditions.

Executive Lounge Experience: The executive lounge was underwhelming. It felt more like a cafeteria with limited food and beverage options and basic seating. A more premium experience in line with the \"executive\" label would be appreciated—perhaps better seating, a more refined layout, and an expanded selection.

I hope you’ll consider these suggestions as opportunities to enhance guest comfort and satisfaction.

Overall, it was a great stay. The lobby was modern, spacious and nicely designed. The staff spoke English well. They were very polite and professional. The bed was stiff and comfortable. The room had very nice lighting. The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, not a desirable view outside, but wonderful on the inside. However, there is a laundromat just a few minutes walk away. Bring a credit card and your own detergent. There was one brief adverse event I witnessed in the lobby with some guests who refused to pay their bill and ran out on the staff. But I would think that’s the kind of thing that wouldn’t happen very often. I checked in very late, yet their guest representative was able to let and check us in quite quickly. Overall, if you’re looking for a new, clean, brand hotel with plenty of hot water and space, you’ll like it. It’s a Marriott.

Location is out of the core which made it quiet, and we felt safe walking around. But taxis added to the overall cost of our stay - anywhere from €15 to €20 each way.

Front desk staff were SO AWESOME! Upon arrival, Andrea took time to recommend wonderful places in town to visit, and another fella (we didn’t get his name) always greeted us warmly saying our room number. Our room attendant was super friendly and accommodating with extra towels, etc.

Room was really clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was great! Shampoo was awful - like stinky baby shampoo.

The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Very modern. The staff in the lobby was very nice to us. But there was once employee who was significantly rude to us. It was 9 pm and I was getting ready to leave for dinner and somebody complained about me walking in heels inside the room. When the employee came to the room about the complaint he was extremely rude.

It seems that ever since Marriott bought Sheraton that the maintenance of the properties has declined. The bed sheets had holes in them as did the bath towels. There was no Kleenex dispenser, only a tiny packet. The hair conditioner in the shower was empty for three days. On the other hand the desk staff and restaurant and bar staffs were very nice and breakfast was great. Location wise, it's quite a ways from where you want to be in Venice if you are there for leisure.

The hotel is nice and conveniently located. We walked from train station following google maps. It took us thru a unsafe street one block over. But if one comes in on the Main Street in front of hotel area is much better.
Huge bath tub and great water pressure. Bed was comfortable and you have control of your thermostat. Room was reasonably quite.

Good if you are a Marriot person

Stay was good, there are few things need to keep in mind. No kettle if you are tea drinking person in the morning. Hotel location is slightly far from the station, it will cost you average 10 euros at least. There is no nearby restaurants, you may need to come to the city. Acoustics between the rooms are not that great, you may hear if people in the next room talk louder, inconvenient for the stay

We had a disappointing stay at this hotel. The hotel and room was lovely but unfortunately the attitude of the reception staff in response to the concerns we raised with cleaning staff unnecessarily moving around our belongings was disappointing. We generally felt that their attitude towards us was not helpful whereas we could see a noticeable difference in their attitude to other guests. This is no reflection on the other staff we came across (e.g. breakfast staff) who were lovely.

I had a wonderful experience at the AC Marriott Firenze. I arrived late due to car trouble and Marlon at the reception desk was very supportive and accommodating with my very late check in. I had additional car trouble after checking out and had to stay an extra night that was not reserved and again Marlon came to the rescue. He is an outstanding employee and made my experience even better. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the hotel was very clean and modern.

I've been a Gold/Patinum Marriott rewards member for over 30 years and planned a trip to Italy that included a Florence stay and of course what better than a Marriot reservation. Turned out it was a nightmare of a welcome to Florence as I was told by the counter receptionist that they have moved me to another hotel of their choice because I was not as an important customer as others (I booked through Expedia to keep all my iterinary in one place). Since I had booked throuh Expedia the hotel took the liberty of moving me to a nightmarish hotel which when I arrived there I tried to call the hotel again and unsuccessfully tried to changed it. I have nothing against the hotel they moved me too, if I had made the resevation there I would have accept it the conditions but I didn't. The AC Hotel Firenze is irresponsible, didn't care about my long standting status with Marrtiot, and didn't respect my reservation I had made months in advance. Didn't alert me on time and just welcomed my family with a frown. I have terminated my relationship with Marriot, never again trust them. One rotten apple.

Rooms were nice and decorated in a modern style. It was a small room as is common in Europe, but the bathroom was roomy and well appointed. The desk staff was very helpful and spoke very good English. They provided a map and pointed out some highlights for us. One night, they called ahead to a restaurant a few blocks away to ensure that we could be accommodated as we did not want to walk all the way back to central part of city. Downside were thin floors resulting in us being awoken by person above us walking around in heels. The location was a bit away from the central tourist area, but still within a 10 minute walk. I would stay here again.

Our room was FREEZING! We were given a little portable heater but it was so noisy that it couldn’t be left on during the night. Just too ineffective to heat up the room never mind a bathroom as well.
Everything else was very good - just fix the heating!

Clean and modern hotel with convenient tram ride to city center. The front desk was helpful in providing sightseeing and restaurant recommendation. Had a couple of mishaps with housekeeping, the cup of coffee we left in the morning was still there when we returned at night, and another cup used was not replaced. But overall pleasant stay.

Great hotel. Not the best location if you want to be in the heart of Florence, but perfect if you travel by car, they have a big parking (not included in price) and you can walk 15 minutes to the center or 3 minutes by taxi.

The stay was very good. I read some reviews that caused me concern, but I was extremely happy with the choice. The hotel was amazingly clean and the staff was unbelievably nice and accommodating. We ran into some issues with the airlines which caused us to just eat at the hotel while waiting, and I must say - the food was excellent. I was beyond surprised. The rooms were really well done and all of the amenities were up to date and good quality. The only complaint I had was the garage, which didn't have excellent signage for parking possibilities. I was unsure of where I was allowed to park. Other than that the hotel was a 10 out of 10. My family of 4 would agree.

It is a nice hotel, location is very good. Y restoration was terrible. Her name was Martha. She was very mean. He made feel that she was making a favor to be by being in that hotel. I do not recomend at all staying in room 215 because of paranormal activity. We had to get out running at midnight the third night,. Very scary my wife and daughter. The were noises, things moving. They felt some one was waning then in the bathroom. The staff they know this happen. I realiza of that. I do not want to go in details. But be careful staying this hotel.

Large, modern hotel with everything you need

Lovely staff, comfortable and spacious room. Bed was huge and very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with plenty of complimentary toiletries. Everything was spotlessly clean throughout the hotel. The only negative would be that the aircon wasn’t great (we had to sleep with the covers off even with the aircon going full blast). Also, the hotel is a bit out of the way from the main centre of Florence so expect a 20 or so minute walk to shopping areas and tourist attractions or you can catch the number 22 bus which was simple to use, cheap and very frequent.
