People at front desk are nice but there are things that sow the hotel's management problem. AC was not cool enough at night. I suspect they centrally higher the temerature set. The bathroom light turned off as I turn off the bed light. Coffee pods and tea bags are not replenished after room cleaning.

Great breakfast. The staffs are always on top making sure the trays are always filled. Clean room however we booked for 3 people and the staff seems did not check how many people checked in, always replacing towels onlu for 2 people so we ended up having to request for extra towels every day which was annoying.

We really enjoyed the rooftop bar, the convenient location, and the friendly front desk staff. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. The toilet ran constantly, and the shower had a broken seal at the bottom of the glass, which caused water to flood the floor—we had to use most of our towels to soak it up. Maintenance did come by and was able to fix the toilet, but the shower issue remained unresolved.

Would recommend this hotel for its convenience, it was a 15 minute walk to the train station and right along the river. It was also a 15 minute driver from the airport and walkable to all major attractions in Florence. The room itself was pretty standard, nothing out of the ordinary but we did enjoy the breakfast buffet in the morning. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it was nice knowing there was one available if we needed it. For the price, I think this hotel was worth it.

We stayed here for 2 nights, and while the hotel had some positives, unfortunately the room setup made the stay uncomfortable.

The biggest issue was the bed — you could feel the springs all over, and every time someone turned, it squeaked loudly, enough to wake the partner. The sofa bed wasn’t much better; the mattress was extremely thin, and if you sat near the edge, it felt like you could fall in.

The bathroom looked nice and clean, but the shower setup was odd. There was a faucet positioned right in the middle of the tub, directly where you stand to use the shower, which made it awkward to use.

On the positive side, the hotel itself was clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated.

Overall, while the service and cleanliness were good, the poor bed quality and strange bathroom design really affected our comfort.

Long hair (not mine or my partner’s) left on the wall in the bathroom.

Wanted to get food on night, no space in the restaurant but staff told us to go outside the hotel and find somewhere to eat rather than arranging food to come to our room.

Some of the staff were kind and welcoming like at the breakfast and the check in but the staff at the pool restaurant/bar was unhelpful and unkind.

Pool tiles frustrating only open 10:30am-18.00 so you can’t use the pool early morning or in the evening after a day out sight seeing.

Rather disappointing-could be better!

Great location and very convenient to get to the centre, to the restaurants, museums and rail station and airport.

About 20 mins drive from the airport, 15mins walk to the main rail station or 20mins walk along the river to the OLD Bridge. Great view if you are walking along the river.

Also great customer service by all the staff.

Although the swimming pool is on the small size but the view of the city from the roof top made up for it. I would recommend this hotel if you are going to Florence for a short stay.

Bad area, the scooters saved us getting back and forth to the city centre. Rooms were not nice and it was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during the whole euro trip. €400/ night.

We travelled with a family of 6. When we arrived James was very nice. He help get our rooms. The rooms were clean. We had a car and we opted to use there parking. It was very expensive. They also charged 5 euros for every time you took your car in or out. We ended up not touching our car. The breakfast was good and it had a good variety. The pool on the roof is a nice place to relax, however the pool is dirty. It needed cleaning. I took pictures and wish I could have posted. They need to clean it. Other than that the stay was ok.

Great Hotel to stay in Florence!

The receptionist greeted me with a big smile for when I arrived and even given me a free room upgrade which was so nice of them!

I stayed for two nights. I left my toothpaste cap lying around and the housekeeping even help me to put the cap back on for when they made my room, which I think it was ever so considerate of them.

The breakfast so so good. Love their creamy scrambled eggs that they had served! Dinner was ok.

I would totally recommend staying at this hotel for whatever the reason visiting Florence and so near to the city centre by foot!

This hotel was perfect! Staff was beyond helpful. We were touring for the first time in Florence for and Emily trip and needed a lot of guidance. They were courteous, professional, patient and friendly. We had 2 rooms and both were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast room had a large selection. It basically was our lunch and then we only needed dinner. Location was quiet and safe. Near the train and a small grocery store. We very much recommend staying here!

very disappointing hotel

shower facility in room 348 was abysmal, some one came and tried to fix but was not competent in resolving issues regarding damaged components.
we where asked if we could wait until the next day leaving the property for the maintenance team, we obviously refused and requested the y offer us another room, this room was inadequate so we moved for a third time,
in the room was a kettle for tea and coffee.
no teabags ,only decaffeinated coffee, once tea and coffee was brought to the room I plugged the kettle into the socket which proceeded to go on fire!!!!!!!
we advised reception who sent maintenance up the next day, I had to request a replacement kettle power point
the roof top pool was so cold even though the temperature was 37 degrees outside, more like a deep paddling pool !!!!the concierge did not assist with our luggage and upon leaving the hotel one of our guests required the bathroom and proceed to look for the facilities in the main entrance and the concierge followed him and waited for him to return monitoring his movement by looking in the widow reflection until he returned so sad but true.

1. Location is good. This hotel is located about 20 minutes of walking form the main sight seeing places (example, Piazza della Signoria).
2. Price vs location - I think the price is high and just adding 20-50 dollars can get you a hotel with a breakfast in the center.
3. Cleanliness - good.
4. Facility - very basic but has the bar and breakfast.
5. Staff - is very nice.

Really nice rooftop swimming area with spectacular view of the city, although it is small and I don’t like that they allow sun beds to be reserved, as quite a lot of the time they sat empty, when they could have been used by waiting guests. Also you get a complimentary bottle of water in your room which should be replenished daily with housekeeping, of our 14 night 2 room stay both rooms only got 3 bottles in two weeks , even after I spoke to room service, also tried to bill us for breakfasts we never had…apart from these smaller gripes , the place was very nice.

This was our second time at this hotel, having enjoyed it very much on the last visit. The big plus is the rooftop pool, which is great for cooling off during the hot summer days.
Rooms are modern and well decorated, bathrooms large with both a shower and a bath. If you are looking for something with character that is old and in the centre, this isn't it. But if you want modern and comfortable, and convenient, then this is a good choice.
Locations is very good, right next to Porta el Prato tram stop, meaning you can get the tram from the airport easily, and also get into the city either by tram or bus. We also took a coach to Bologna, which means getting an easy 20 min tram journey to the coach station which is on the same tram line.
Breakfast is very good and varied. Also, a big plus was that, as we had a very early flight, breakfast was available for us to self-serve at 3.30 in the morning! This is because a lot of air crews stay here, but usually the only option is a breakfast box. Was so good to have a nearly full breakfast at this time.
Not sure if I will stay in Florence again, but if I do, I would probably stay here a third time!

Great Hotel with minor Caveats

Nice hotel on the outskirts of Florence. The hotel is easily accessible by car and the location seems like it would really shine if that's how you were traveling. We didn't and hence all the location really did was add an extra 10-15 minutes walking time to each excursion. Bus and tram are options if you're into that and can substantially reduce or eliminate the extra travel time. The location was definitely not a major problem but if staying in Florence again I would look at something further in the city (assuming I wasn't traveling by car). The breakfast was quite good and view from the roof terrace was amazing, although the terrace itself is a bit smaller than some of the pictures made it seem. Overall, if you have a car, want to avoid driving down a bunch of narrow European streets everytime you want to commute to a nearby city, this hotel is a good choice.

All of the staff were brilliant!

Every single staff member was so friendly and helpful. All the cleaning staff all say good morning and smile. The lady with blonde curly hair at reception was especially helpful. She went out of her way to call all our existing online restaurant/bar reservations to confirm bookings. She also recommended and booked restaurants for all our other remaining days. It was a warm and welcoming environment and she felt at home at the hotel.

The hotel rooms and bathrooms are bigger than they look in the pictures. They were always cleaned to an exceptionally high standard and I don't say that lightly. They were modern and were in good repair.

Vu un cafard dans la chambre
Piscine fermée le dernier jour alors qu’il faisait 37 degrés dehors pour cause de pb de plomberie et eau non potable y compris dans la salle de bain pendant 3 jours.
Les autres jours la piscine fermait à 18h30 alors que la’ plupart des clients visitent la ville la journée et avaient pour objectif de se détendre dans l’eau en rentrant à 18h. Les enfants ont donc été sortis de l’eau 30min après y être rentrés, à leur grande déception après une journée de marche caniculaire dans la ville. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel, justement pour la piscine pour un séjour avec les enfants par temps chaud: quelle déception
Enfin service au restaurant roof top vraiment limite (seul un serveur parlant français était très agréable et très gentil), sinon impression de déranger et service expéditif...
Personnes a la réception et serveur francophone très aimables par ailleurs, seul point positif de l’hotel.

The trip got off to a rough start. Our room was delayed by an hour and a half and the front desk said there was nothing they could do. When we did get to the room it was clean and very nice. The manager apologized to us on the last day and explained it was a trainee who greeted us. Federica also phoned ahead to the NH Rio Novo in Venice where we were staying next and had our room upgraded and a bottle of sparkling waiting for us. We were very pleasantly surprised and sincerely thank the management of both hotels. Hotel is a bit removed from Florence so be prepared to walk about 15 minutes to the heart of tourist Florence. We liked the quiet area however.

We booked this hotel for the pool feature and then after a long day of travelling in extreme heat we found out the pool closes very early because it becomes a bar/restaurant. Got to our room to shower and there was no corkscrew. It took me 15 minutes to have one brought to my room. They keep saying “go up to the bar” then we went to the bar and there were no decent food options. Very American food and expensive. There are few other restaurants around as well. Very disappointing. This was the first hotel we used our whole trip through Italy. We were booking Airbnb and they were great. This was awful.

15 minute walk to city center. Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was very nice and accommodating with suggestions and calling for reservations. Would highly recommend and would stay there again on my next Florence trip.

OK hotel -wait when all the renovation is done

The room were renovated and are very nice - there is still construction running in the hotel as we speak, I hope that it will modernise it all - as its bit dated right now. the breakfast is just \"OK\" -nothing spectacular or even above average - really basic like 3 star.

Three months ago it was the only hotel I could find at a medium price because of the Fashion Week in Florence.
I also selected this hotel because I am a NH member.
However, it is a long distance from the centre. Having found that the Expedia rate was much cheaper I went ahead and booked the Standard room.
What you pay is what you get. The room was the basic room. Very small, internal view of courtyard, no water bottle provided, no extras at all. Not even a biro . Had to pay €12 for breakfast but it is definitely not worth the extra. No available table when I arrived, cold scrambled eggs, cafeteria style self serve coffee etc.
Could not give me an upgrade because it was full.
Next day I was given a much better room as an upgrade.
Next 2days were worth the price but it remains a hotel that is more a business hotel.not at all caring about the client. They kept my Expedia booking papers and then proceeded. To destroy my copy of the paper work.
Public transport, bus or tram, is quite close and very cheap, €1.50, compared to the €15 I paid for a taxi.
If you are stranded an ok hotel to get by for 1 or 2 days. Not for 8 days as I was staying during Men's Fashion week.

Comfy Room But lack Facilities

The hotel front desk was very helpful while the location is a bit far from those historucal sites. The one thing that made me decided to not stay here again in the future is that the room does not have coffe or tea facilities, not even a single bottle of water given.
