Gentleman who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and spacious! Only thing I didn't like is the noise going around until like 12 am. Also in the morning there was doors slamming, people talking loud etc. other than that we enjoyed our stay.

This is definitely a budget hotel. For what we paid, we received excellent value and service. The rooms were clean (though minimal) - cleaned daily with fresh towels, the staff all very helpful, the breakfast more than adequate, and even though the walk to the downtown core a bit further, (25 min to ponte Vecchio) - it was certainly manageable. Easy to airport.by tram, and bus stops for other travel.

Overpriced for the condition of the hotel and room. One single extremely bright ceiling light and no bedside lamp made going to bed very difficult. Aircon functioned by was quite noisy. Bathroom condition however excellent following refurbishment. Convenient location for 20 min walk into the city. Overnight parking at the property expensive on top of the high room price and also limited. Breakfast (basic) was at least included in the price.

The breakfast was great and the room was spacious. Transit in the area was a bit unreliable but not the hotel’s fault. Every available amenity like laundry and luggage holding was an extra 5 Euro which felt a bit excessive (5 for wash, another 5 to dry).

Great price, but it is a distance away from the sites. There is a bus, but it can be crowded. The rooms are nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful! We liked getting up and walking to sites, but it may be a distance for some people. We were there during a heatwave and the staff were wonderful making sure we had working A/C.

Not secure parking. Only 2 spots inside. Our car and others broken into on street but is is cheap for Florence . But do not expect much. Basic beds. No drinks/water etc, broken bathroom fittings. Breakfast horrible but at half the price of next hotel you get what you pay for

We stayed for a night on a last minute trip, chosen because all other hotels were very expensive. It was a good place to crash, I think it was a hostel not a hotel. The staff were very kind and friendly, the room was very basic but comfortable. Impressed with how quiet it was on a busy street. Overall it was good value but not a nice hotel style for a stay.

I might agree with others that this property is probably more hostel than hotel. BUT!! That being said, we had our own bathroom, the room was clean and our group each had their own bed, the showers were hot, they had a good breakfast and they will do your laundry for a fee. And sometimes travel is just what you make it, had we not stayed here we would have missed some good shopping streets walking into the city. Beautiful walks.

The staff was not friendly except for one young men at the front desk. Everyone else needs to learn customer service skills.
They did not give us a couple of twin size beds, as reservations. Instead they offered a bigger bed which was not comfortable.

It says it is hotel in expedia but it is a kind of hustle place for youth. The bes was broken. And indicate false information in expedia such as distance from train station it says 4 minutes walking but it was almost 20 minutes with taxi.
But the employee were nice and this mis information not related to the employee.

Don’t expect to be “wowed”, but this is a good hotel. You can walk pretty much anywhere in Florence. It’s in a residential area, and there are a few restaurants and cafes. There are more options for eating & shopping closer to the tourist, downtown area. Don’t plan on using a car! Parking is quite difficult in Florence, but this hotel helped me out!

This is not a Hotel. It is Students Residence. They wrongly classified themselves as a Hotel. It was completely misleading. We reserved 2 rooms with Queen beds. Instead we got 2 rooms with 2 singles put together.

The location of the hotel is great, very close to the city centre.
The facilities are not great, not terrible.

The hotel is a maximum 30 minute walk from most of the important sites. The restaurants nearby are mostly local with great food and not where the bulk of the tourists go. The staff is friendly. The location was quiet later. The room was tiny. The air conditioner was so loud it wasn't usable for more than a few minutes at a time.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Gave me maps and for must see local sites, how to catch public transport and showing me. They also gave me great restaurant recommendations that were not expensive. I booked one restaurant on The Fork and got 20% off the total bill. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

We really liked the free breakfast and it was handy to have laundry facilities, (even though these were a bit expensive). Staff were friendly and helpful, (they gave good advice).

We had two rooms. The only minor issue we had, was that the aircon in one room didn't work. The staff did try to fix it.

The hotel was a little bit far from the major sites, but staff will call cabs and there was a good bus service.

There was a really good pizza place nearby.

We would stay at this hotel again.

AC broken/asthma was bad in the heat, items worn and dirty and bad smells, handle coming off, toilet seat loose. Left and paid for another place. The rules said I'd get nights 2 & 3 back but the clerk was upset, very sensitive, yelling, said I'd have a better room if I paid more but also said room is perfect for the price. Told me to get money from Orbitz as he got little. Pics must be from best moments. One lady was very nice. Careful, Orbitz won't do anything. I've stopped using these sites. Useless, they point fingers at each other. 300+ euro lost on 2 hrs waiting for temp to lower. Next place everything worked, cost 20 more euro per night, so it's Not The Money. I've never left a bad review but just be careful, ask questions ahead in case your room is terrible.

Breakfast was good. Meat, cheese and breads. The staff doesn’t smile much, but it’s just the Italians, I suppose. Room had a mosquito that I had to ice before I could sleep soundly the second night.

Location is about a mile or two from all the attractions. We walked everywhere during our stay. Hotel staff was friendly during checkin and showed us the locations of major attractions from the hotel as well as transportation options. Good food options within a 10-15 min walk of the hotel. An excellent clean well maintained hotel about 2 kilometres from the main centre but good public transport facilities nearby. bus right out the door. Says Youth firenze 2000 on the entrance so you may think it is more of a hostel. But it has excellent rooms for all ages. Great breakfast provided and friendly staff. bathroom clean and great hot water. TV has USB capabilities so you can watch your own movies from it if you don't speak italian as all channels are in italian. Only problem was the air conditioner didn't work very well. needs regas or something.

Cozy, reasonably priced hotel. Room was clean and the location is decent. You can easily take buses near the hotel to downtown Florence and Palazzo Michelangelo. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful too!
P.S: The Chinese restaurant next door is very good as well.

This place is easy to find. Near to bus stop to see main attractions. Aldo gave us a map with all the places to see and what bus to take. They even sell the tickets for the bus. Close to the Firenze SMN train station (about 4 minutes walking and 10 minutes on the bus). There is a small food truck in walking distance where you can fins burgers, hot dogs and fries.

Lovely little spot. Upgraded to a two star hotel from a hostel. Really helpful & lovely staff. Nice little patio to sit out at in the evening & standard enough breakfast with pastries, ham, cheese, yogurts, juice & coffee. It’s about a 15/20 minute walk to Pointe Vecchio but it’s a lovely place to stay. I would recommend to anyone!

The hotel is very close to the main attractions of Firenze, everything is walking distance and it’s a very authentic hotel. Very nice terrace to accompany the GREAT breakfast buffet they serve.
The thing I’ll miss the most is their nocciola filled croissants.

The hotel itself isn’t a place where you’ll spend your time in cause you’ll be visiting Florence surroundings so there’s not a lot to do inside it but the staff is really amazing and kind and they helped us solve every question or issue we encountered.

They also didn’t have problems with us speaking English and you can also find cheap drinks at the lobby.

Loved it.

Emmanuela was so kind and even messaged us wishing us luck in our trip after we checked out.

A well thought hostel that exceeds the expectation

This hostel pleasantly exceeded any of my expectations. The service is fantastic. Friendly, efficient and very attentive staff. The hostel probides everything you need as a low budget traveller. Laundry facilities, fridges to keep your food in it, free breakfast, little bar inside the hotel. Well located. Supermarket around the corner. The room was immaculate clean and comfortable. They even have access for wheelchairs.

Within 20 minutes walking distance of the Duomo and other major attractions but in a quiet area of town with close by restaurants, stores, bank machines, supermarket, and a great little burger stand!. The staff were the best! They were helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, served a nice breakfast and made great cocktails. They really wanted us to feel comfortable. The rooms were good, very clean, and reasonably comfortable for the price. Overall, a great value.

Basic but clean hotel, lovely guy running the breakfast room etc. Due to affordability the hotel involves a walk along the River Arno into Florence’s city centre. Wear comfortable trainers or walking sandals as paving and cobbles can be very uneven. Hotel continental breakfast was super and plentiful on the Sunday but was not restocked! By my checkout on Wednesday there was 1 old croissant left, no cheese (I’m vegetarian so wouldn’t eat the ham) and stale bread. I didn’t complain as it was my last day and the member of staff had been so kind and helpful during my stay, I didn’t want any embarrassment. Instead I bought breakfast at a lovely cafe by the river.

Chambre peu lumineuse, une fenêtre à 3m de hauteur, pas d'équipements, les draps étaient tachés. Salle de bain avec les joints moisis, de l'eau bouillante très compliqué d'en avoir de la tempérée, cuvette des toilettes dévissée, et le bidet fuyait. Des travaux en cours donc réveillés à 7:00. Il faudra compter 30€ pour garer sa voiture dans la cours minuscule où tout le monde passe autour. Petit déjeuner insipide, strict minimum. Seul le personnel agréable remonte la note.

The location was pretty good, about 2 kilometres from the main attractions. The hostel itself is ok for it’s price, although the cleanness was not perfect: there was a big stack of someone else’s hair in my bathroom’s shower wall when I arrived. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all in my room and also my own mobile network worked very poorly in the room. The air conditioning in the room worked very well, which was very important during hot summer days.

The breakfast wasn’t the best, I went there in the first morning just before 10 am (the breakfast ended at 10) and milk and cheese had clearly been on the table for a long time, since the milk was warm and the processed cheese was so melted that I wasn’t able to remove it from its wrapping.

The staff was friendly though, and like I said, the hostel is ok for its price, so if you just need a place to sleep for a couple of nights, the bed was ok and the room was cool during the heatwave, so you are able to get a good night sleep.
