Property did not have amenities advertised such as the gym, spa, or air conditioning. The staff gave excuses why they didn’t have. Like, there’s a gym 2 miles away, we can call someone to give a massage, or the AC doesn’t work due to top secret agreements with B&Bs in the area before June to save them money. No no. If you advertise it and I buy it, you need to provide it or refund the money you took by false advertising.

A wonderful stay in the hands of wonderful people

This is a great B&B in the heart of the most beautiful city in the world. It is in a very ancient building with lots of history. It is family owned and managed, and it is by far the best B&B place I have been to. Rooms are overly clean, tidy, and the owners went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family (including a 16 months baby) in the room. They even thought of adding a microwave oven to heat baby food, which is not standard equipment in their room. Breakfast is great, with unlimited cappuccino and espresso prepared on the fly by the owners. Great people, great business. I will be back there every time I will be in Florence, either for business or leisure.

Good Value but dated residence

The residence is out from the city centre so you need to get the nearby bus or train to see the tourist attractions. Being out of the centre, for me, is an advantage as you are among the locals and get a more authentic experience. My room was dated, but clean, and overall it was still good value for the price I paid. Angelo is an excellent host and very helpful. I stayed for one week. The one negative was that when I arrived they informed me that they had overbooked and they had arranged for me to stay in a nearby bnb for the first night. Although this was probably nicer than the actual accommodation I had booked it is not something you expect when you have booked and paid for over a month in advance. This stopped me giving it a higher rating. Overall, good value accommodation in a city where it is difficult to find in peak season.

Fantastic.

The only thing that i thought was so weird about this place was that the check in finishes at 5pm which is so unusual for a hotel, bed and breakfast. Everything else was fantastic! the staff were so kind! The breakfast is fab that have little snacks in the room (minibar) that you pay for but they're cheap. Did come across a few mosquitoes but no big deal. Fantastic tv, bathroom a little small butagain not that big of a deal. Not too many places close to eat, but getting food delivery is not hard in Firenze.

Handy for the historic city of Florence 10-15 minutes walk or bus ride away.

Spacious compared to other hotels I've stayed at in Europe. Host was nice and helpful. Location is good. Not in the heart of Florence but within walking distance (15-20 mins). Quiet street.

It was a good place to stay. initially upon arrival we had been told that there was problem with our room and that we could either agree to stay in a different, smaller, room then we booked or they would help us find another hotel in the area. Since space didn't bother us we chose to stay and they were nice enough to give us 2 bottle of wine and waive the city tax fee for us due to the room mess up. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much, it was nice to have a kitchen and living room in addition to the room we would be sleeping in.

This room was ok. Just be aware that there is no a/c in this room and if you open the windows the Mosquitos will eat you alive. Yes Mosquitos. Worse than northern Ontario in June. Place had a nice modern bathroom but it was shared with 2 other rooms. The only plus was that there is lots of space in the apartment. Breakfast was well stocked and the manager was helpful.

We showed up a little late after a long day and luckily there was someone there to let us in and once we arrived, we were treated great! Comfortable beds and a breakfast dish in the morning. Only stayed one night but would stay again.

This is a difficult review. The staff person was helpful and friendly, but there are odd quirks. There is no one at the hotel after 3:30 PM so read their instructions carefully so they will be there to meet you. Otherwise, you'll be searching for help from strangers to call the listed check in number as we did at 6 PM. Although listed as a B&B, the hotels.com rate didn't include breakfast, and they charge some kind of city tax on top of the prepaid amount. They let us leave our bags until the afternoon of our departure, but wouldn't let us use any of their bathrooms prior to leaving for the train station. This hotel seemed to have a kind of youth hostel aura. They referred us to a restaurant on the corner that was great and gave us a 10% discount since we were staying at this hotel. The location isn't particularly convenient to anything except for the excellent local restaurant. Again, an OK place to stay but the fact that they have unusual restrictions would have me book elsewhere next time.

The Relais Stibbert was convenient for our needs, as it is walking distance from La Villa Pietra, the NYU campus where our son was studying. Our hostess was most helpful and always cheerful. I would certainly recommend it!!

La stanza non era come ce la aspettavamo. Dalle foto sembrava davvero diversa. Forse siamo stati sfortunati, ma era davvero piccola (la porta del bagno batteva sul letto). Materassi scomodi polvere (se soffrite di allergia alla polvere, antistaminico è suggerito)

Las habitaciones no son tal cual como las muestran en las fotos, las instalaciones parecen un poco descuidadas, el aire sonaba toda la noche y era molesto para descansar.
El staff fue muy amable y la zona es céntrica para caminar y cerca de transporte público.

O quarto é simples, mas agradável. As pessoas que atendem também são simpáticas e prestativas. Fica a 15 minutos de caminhada do centro histórico. O café da manhã é simples (como se espera de um bed and breakfast) e bom.

O Hotel é bem antigo e simples, não possui elevador. Reservamos 2 quartos mas ao chegarmos nos colocaram em um único quarto. Para compensar o engano o proprietário não nos cobrou as taxas e incluiu o café da manhã. O casal de proprietários é extremamente simpático e nos auxiliaram o tempo todo com dicas.

A hospedagem (embora paga) não ocorreu!

Foi feita e paga antecipadamente a reserva, porém ao chegar ao hotel, com a esposa e todas as bagagens, me informaram que não haviam quartos disponíveis. Nos conduziram a um B&B nas proximidades, e lá nos alojaram em um quarto minúsculo (mal cabia a cama e o banheiro era dificil de usar devido as dimensões), sem o café da manhã, e a 30 metros da ferrovia principal, ou seja, dormir só era possível após muito cansaço.
Ou seja, tudo aquilo que constava da reserva, fotos dos quartos, descrição dos serviços, etc., não existiram, pelo menos para nós. Nos pareceu tratar-se de uma prática comum deste estabelecimento.
Não recomendo.

Hotel à éviter, le personnel est très désagréable.

Nous avons eu une annulation de vol, nous avons prévenu l'hôtel par mail que nous arriverions le lendemain, il nous à été répondu qu'il n'y avait pas de problème. Une fois sur place la personne à l'accueil nous à dit sur un ton agacé que la chambre était REvendue et que nous "faisions des problèmes". HOTEL A EVITER, ils n'hésitent pas à arnaquer leur clients.

Nenhuma reclamação em relação ao hotel em si, apenas que a recepção só funciona até as 15:30. Se alguém chegar depois desse horário tem que ligar para um telefone (que está na placa do lado de fora) para alguém vir abrir o hotel. Outro inconveniente é o ar condicionado ser cobrado a parte por dia utilizado.
O banheiro é reformado, novinho e o café da manhã muito bom (começa às 8h).
A pé para a estação Santa Maria Novella são uns 25 minutos ou uns 12 euros de taxi.

soggiorno tranquillo, senza troppe aspettattive

Soggiorno abbastanza confortevole. C'è un'ampia scelta nella colazione (dolce o salata e torte fatte in casa). Il proprietario è gentile e ci ha aperto la sala della colazione una mezz'ora prima del previsto (sarebbe alle 8) perché dovevamo uscire presto. La zona è tranquilla, non centralissima, ma ben collegata con i mezzi (o mezz'ora a piedi). Pulizie della camera giornaliere, Bagno con box doccia, ma un po' piccolo, senza finestra e sarebbe stato comodo avere degli asciugamani da doccia migliori (danno quelli con la trama a nido d'ape). Nel complesso è accettabile, considerando che è un albergo è a 2 stelle.

Firenze, Siena, Pisa felfedezéséhez ideális kiindulópont. Könnyű sétával vagy busszal a Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore 10-15 perc alatt elérhető. Parkolás kis türelemmel, egyszerűen és viszonylag olcsón megoldható az utcán.
A szobák jól felszereltek, tiszták. Az utcai szobák sajnos jóval zajosabbak, mit az udvarra nyílók.
A tulajdonos nagyon kedves, segítőkész.
A wifi folymatosan és kifogástalanul működött a szobákban is.
A metroépítés miatt a környéken a gps navi még néhány évig csak korlátozottan használható.

Tivemos uma excelente experiência. O quarto é um pouco antigo, mas é grande e limpo. O café da manhã é bem servido. Fica um pouco distante do centro, mas tem linhas de ônibus próximas para quem não estiver disposto a uma caminhada. O destaque principal é na qualidade, atenção e receptividade do atendimento - incrível!

Compensa se o valor for realmente bom.

No período, julho, o quarto era muito quente e cobrava 5,00 euros por dia para usar ar condicionado (não tinha visto isso na descrição antes). O recepcionista era um pouco fechado, mas solicito. Café da manhã muito bom. Não fica perto das principais atrações turísticas, mas as vezes o preço compensa, caso esteja disposto a uma caminhada de 20/30 minutos.

Smelly bathroom bad check in experience...

Not really close to downtown. Its not 15 or 20 minute walk, its half an hour and not very intuitive. Yes there is a bus but the schedule is unreliable and if the store where you buy the rickets is closed then you are in problems as the drivers don't always sell you the ticket...

They only do check in until 3:30pm. After that there is no one there and you find a sign saying you should call a number. When you come from abroad this is easier said than done. We did not receive any of this is formation about check in prior to our arrival.

The bathroom in our room smelled bad all the time. It seemed to be coming out of the drain...

The information stated they offered laundry service, which was one reason we chose this hotel. However they don't offer that. Instead they pointed us to a dry cleaning kind of place (not even a launderette).

Itvwas not horrible but I would not stay here again...

da dimenticare

ho prenotato una standard doppia,ma all'arrivo era disponibile una camera uso singolo e abbiamo dovuto pagare una integrazione.Le aspettative sono risultate contrarie a quello che viene rappresentato sul sito.In particolare la stanza era rumorossissima in quanto la finestra ,vetusta,non chiudeva bene,la stessa non si poteva aprire in quanto la zanzariera era inchiodata e nella parte superiore era divelta e faceva entrare le zanzare.Le porte del bagno e camera nella parte sottostante era marcie e presentavano buchi.Il copriletto era sporco e macchiato di olio,il coprimaterasso era macchiato.Durante il soggiorno nessuno ha provveduto al controllo e pulizia della stanza,in quanto non avviene in automatico come in tutti gli alberghi,ma bisogna mettere preventivamente il cartello.Il cabio lenzuola e asciugamani avviene dopo 5 giorni,in caso contrario bisogna pagare.

Adatto a coppie per visitare Firenze.

Struttura in gradevoli condizioni strutturali e di decoro, silenziosa e ben collegata al centro città. Esperienza personale limitata ad una camera family in cui il letto matrimoniale è, per ragioni di spazio, piuttosto corto. La "colazione continentale inclusa" come descritto nel sito Expedia è costituita da un cestino di merendine confezionate e caffè solubile che trovate in stanza. Per fortuna c'è una piccola ma ottima pasticceria-bar molto vicina dove avere a proprie spese una adeguata colazione (credo che tale bar fornisca la colazione per gli occupanti delle camere più piccole). Infine ho pagato la tassa di soggiorno 4euro a persona invece di 2 come riportava Expedia.
