Hotel is pretty big and the floor plan was a little confusing as you needed to take different lifts depending on where you were going. Signage could be improved.
Really impressed with the gym. Had a big selection of machines and weights (probably one of the best equipped hotel gyms I've been in). Rooftop bar and pool were really standout; great outdoor space with views over the city towards the Duomo. Worth staying here just for the rooftop. Drinks at the bar were VERY expensive though. Location was good: took abnout 10/15 minutes to walk to the Cathedral. Tram stop to/from airport directly outside. Room was nice: good size, cool design, big/comfortable bed, decent bathroom, free coffee/water. Overall, good value (esp. considering the rooftop pool) and a really good place to stay.

Hip hotel in Florence. It’s an eclectic mix of students and tourists at the hotel. The location is convenient. A short walk to the train station and easy access to historic Florence.

The free laundry machines were a nice bonus in the middle of our trip through Italy.

Great location. 10 min walk from the fast train station, and 10 min walk to the centre of Florence. Loved the free bag check, since we arrived really early, and also free checked our bags upon leaving so we could explore for the day without them, before our evening train. Rooftop area had a great view but the drinks were really expensive!

Spacious room quite clean and new. I was just expecting something a bit 'higher quality' given the price. Also, the hallway design (passing by hundreds of rooms and very simple hallway/ corridor) feels a bit like 'prison' and not matching the wonderful entrance experience. Rooftop bar is a great surprise and offering best view over the city!

Before booking this hotel, my husband and I had some reservations about the hotel being more oriented towards \"young people\" (we are in our 60's!). We booked it anyway because it was convenient. And we are so glad we did. We loved the concept of The Social Hub Florence Lavagnini in Florence. Check-in and check-out were easy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was small but very comfortable. The laundry facility was clean and easy to get to. Reserving the machines via the app is clever and very practical. However, what we enjoyed the most were the common spaces for social gathering, the rooftop in particular. After wandering around the city during the day, we loved to come back to the hotel and get some drinks at the rooftop. The ambience was relaxing and festive, and the view was truly spectacular! It was also nice to see other people our age enjoying it, and we appreciated the opportunity to mingle and meet new people. We recommend this hotel 100%!

Location was close enough to major attractions. The room is clean and nice. The bed was comfortable.The rooftop lounge was amazing with the views. The air-conditioning in the room was substandard — a tip for a future traveler would be to leave the room key in the slot while you are gone all day so that the room has a chance of being cool for your evening.

There is no on-site parking for your rental car and it was about 10 minute walk to the parking garage that was $20 per day US.

At first glance I was disappointed because the room looked like a college dorm and I expected it to be noisy. I was wrong. The room was comfortable, clean, and I felt safe. A nice view of a city park looking out our window. The cafe had excellent cappuccinos and croissants. The piano music during the day was relaxing. It was a 10-25 minute walk to most places we wanted to see. I highly recommend the Social Hub.

For the price that we paid we thought we would get to enjoy the roof top. It was packed with college people who live on site (i don't have a problem with them living onsite, think it's a great idea, but if i would have known i would have chosen differently). In the room the air conditioning wouldn't go below 20 they have it locked and the noise from the very busy street kept us awake. We ate in the garden for dinner as we where flying out very early and I must say the WORST food we experienced in Italy. I would not suggest this hotel for more mature travellers.

The rooms are old with minimal furniture. These are accommodations offered to students and by those standards, the condition is pretty poor, The bed was very high and not comfortable, the size was small and the room comforts were pretty poor considering the tariff Social Hub charged. The only positive thing, I can say is that it has a nice roof top bar. Very disappointed.

Hotel is a renovated building - might have been a factory or hospital? It’s very clean and there are signs to help you navigate the property - elevators are segmented so you must follow signs to navigate the property. Rooftop pool/ bar and gyms are nice.

Éste Hotel es una excelente opción. Su ubicación es muy estratégica para todo en especial porque queda cerca de la terminal y es muy seguro que para caminar a toda hora.
Ofrece un desayuno muy variado.
Las habitaciones son bastante amplias, su colchón excelente y las almohadas también.
Tiene baño privado.

This is a combination hotel and apartment complex for students on exchange programs.

Thought it was a good location. However, amenities like a clothing iron were not available for the rooms. If you needed one you would to go to a different building to use a public iron which was so dirty they damaged my shirt. There was no working A/C in the room on the last night there offered us a fan. Breakfast was a bit on the expensive side with not a lot of options very basic. Room was clean however there was a trash can outside our door which was not cleaned had the same garage for out entire stay.

The roof bar has a great view of the City worth visiting whether you stay or not. Room was clean with a comfortable bed. Lighting was minimal. Hotel appears to be mainly housing for students studying abroad so the room floors feel a bit dormitory style. And the room and amenity access is a bit quirky requiring elevator transfers. But overall good value and I would stay there again

The bar on the roof is open to the public which is fair enough but they should prioritise hotel guest which they don’t given the fact that we’re paying to stay there they should. Particular bad service in that bar which file equivalent to local people over hotel guest I saw that in a couple of occasions.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The rooftop bar area offers amazing views, especially in the evening for sunset. We also had some of the best drinks of our trip there!
We were travelling with back packs across many different cities in Italy so the free laundrette facilities were a super helpful surprise!

The room was clean overall the hotel was great, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Breakfast was also really good.
There were some lovely little restaurants very close by offering pasta and pizza, both very tasty!
Highly recommend this hotel and will likely look for more of their hotels in other countries when travelling!

Location is a 15 minute walk to the city center and maybe 15 minutes to the airport. Nothing really stood out in the immediate area worth walking to and the hotel does not have on site parking which I didn't like. Upon arriving to the hotel the room wasn't ready even though it was already an hour after check-in time. I waited a while but staff made it right by offering free drinks on the marvelous rooftop. Harris that attended us on the rooftop was awesome! The room I chose was the suite which was generously sized for Florence standards and it had its own couch area apart from bed. The tissue paper offered is almost a newspaper rolled into bath paper, its horrible. Also, the hotel doesn't offer an iron or steamer, you have to go downstairs to their laundry area and use one of three available irons that are chained to the wall. I hated this aspect of it. It felt as a college dorm instead of a hotel. There's only two small elevators to use and the primary one gets shut down only providing rooftop access after 6pm so you do find yourself using the stairs more often than not. Downstairs they do have a coffee bar which was nice. I didn't try their breakfast. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here again but for the price its good and the rooftop is amazing and not crowded. Their gym has all the equipment you need and a nice view of the city.

Nice clean well appointed rooms with amenities - water, mini bar, toiletories, tea / coffee maker. True to its name the Social Hub is buzzing with life, live events, friendly and conversational staff. The hotel is in the heart of the city with gorgeous views. The rooftop bar and pool with a view of the duomo are the highlights of this hotel. They have an excellent rooftop gym too with a view of the city and duomo. Very happy with our stay here!

We didn't know much about the hotel or their philosophy, however it was beautiful, spacious, clean so many places to linger, play, relax or socialize. We wanted the free laundry and it was perfect! Great location across from the tram station and a beautiful park on the other corner. East walk to historic city center. Free blue line parking overnight just minutes away. Fabulous check n staff,.all around lovely atmosphere! Enjoyed our king bed, open windows and really nice shampoo/conditioner/lotion provided!!

Wish the site mentioned the pool was closed for maintenance (which was the main reason I booked the property) but I still got to enjoy laying in the sun on the rooftop. An absolute joke, the room was nothing like the pictures, only one side table. The room felt like a store room with 80s broken floor tiles. The ensuite was no better.
Was disturbed a number of times with people chatting in the hallways.
Complaind in the morning with Chiara who agreed a refund of some sort should be given, even sent an email to Francesco and not even a reply.
The high reviews must come from from parents visiting their kids who stay in this complex. If you don't have kids staying here, do not book here, absolute joke of a service with no follow up whatsoever from the staff.

The hotel is located right next to a tram so it’s very easy to get there from the train station. It is about a 15 minute walk away from the Duomo and even further for the river and museums so that’s something to consider. I think this is one of the few hotels that has an elevator in it which is a huge plus when traveling with multiple bags.

The views from the gym are absolutely gorgeous! There’s a laundry and kitchen in the basement and the lobby has one of those cute, retro photo booths that you can use. It even has swings in the entrance.

The only complaint I had was they don’t allow irons in the room, you have to go all the way down to the basement to use the communal irons and ironing boards they have set up in the laundry.

Otherwise, for the price and location? I’d recommend it.
