This is definitely my new favorite hotel in Florence. I was only supposed to stay for a couple of days because I decided to come to Florence a couple days earlier then I was supposed to move to another place but I decided to stay the whole week.
The place is clean, working areas are really nice and clean, they have excellent customer service in all areas. So close to everything, and they have swings! It made me feel like a child again.
There is a park right next to it and it's just walking distance to the center. I was blessed to see beautiful sunsets from my room.
And the roof? You're just gonna have to see for yourself. And what other hotel can you go to the gym with a view of the Duomo?

Overall, my stay had some nice moments, especially the breakfast — it was very good and a highlight of the visit. However, the room itself was quite dark and smaller than I expected, and during my three-day stay it wasn’t cleaned at all.

With a bit more attention to cleanliness and room upkeep, this could be a much more pleasant stay, especially since the breakfast is already a strong point.

This hotel is not in the city center but is walkable to the center in about 20 minutes. The tram stop is in front of the hotel which is a quick option if you don't want to walk. The tram also takes you straight to the airport and the main train station which is convenient. The rooms are basic but clean. There are alot of study abroad students who stay here ( my daughter included) so the hotel is very modern.

There is a nice rooftop with a bar and a restaurant (which I did not try). Overall for the price I would recommend it.

The social hub is a nice inexpensive hotel. There are 2 in the city. This location has more of a chill vibe than the other location. The other location basically has a club on the roof. This location has. beautiful view of the city from the rooftop pool, which also has a bar. The only negative is it seems as if only 1 elevator serves the rooftop so accessing it may be a little slow. Also the area is first come first serve so it fills up quickly. Other than that great choice - nice area to walk around - and nice hotel for instagram photos in the lobby area.

I came for a week from the US to visit my daughter who's studying in Florence for a semester. Her study abroad advisor recommended the Social Hub. The location was great - walking distance to her school (SRISA), SMN train station, etc. The coffeemaker in the room was a big plus for me; the hot water pot was a nice bonus. We had the buffet breakfast once - delicious. Room was clean. Property was lovely and clean. Staff were courteous and helpful -- called a taxi for me back to the airport which arrived in minutes.

Loved our stay! You can walk everywhere or take the tramway. The hotel is nice and the rooftop terrace is also a great spot. The only things are the air not functioning in the room and lack of outlet plugs un the room. Besides that we loved our stay and I would definitely recommend.

Pictures of common area and rooms seem more mid to high end. When arrived reminds me of a dorm style, the rooftop bar was surprising it definitely did not match the vibe of the entire hotel.

The day we arrived they were doing an entire mattress which over and it was absolutely disgusting how long mattress were spread out all over in front of our room.

Overall great rooftop, probably stay somewhere else next time in Florence.

Overall a pleasant stay for the price

Great hotel for the price, had a suite so plenty of room. Check in was all on iPads but was very quick and staff replied via email quickly if they weren’t there. Location was good and also close to the station.

Negatives; bed was very hard, after 4 nights I’m ready for my own bed! Room was also cold as they hadn’t switch AC to winter mode yet so couldn’t put heat on. Did give me extra duvet. Pool was freezing but pool area was lovely. Lots of private events on Friday and Sat nights so kept getting kicked out of the pool area which was highly annoying, after lots of walking and just wanted to relax in the sunshine.

Overall, for the price it’s perfect for couple of nights stay. It’s also full of students so I’d say it’s like a fancy hostel vibes, more suited to a younger crowd.

We had a wonderful stay at The Social Hub Lavagnini! The location is perfect, everything we wanted to do and see was easily walkable, making it simple to explore the city. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and has a really cool, unique vibe. However, I will mention that it was very dimly lit; but once we switched rooms to a higher floor, the lighting and brightness of the room was remarkable better. The common areas are stylish and inviting, and the rooftop pool with its stunning views is a definite highlight.

Although our room was missed by housekeeping one day, the staff handled it quickly and professionally by providing us with fresh towels and anything else we needed right away. Their friendly and responsive service really stood out.

Overall, this is a great affordable option if you’re looking for a clean, fun, and vibrant place to stay in a beautiful city. Highly recommend!

The stay in this hotel was really. The air conditioning in our room broke down the second night of our stay. The hotel didn’t have any maintenance staff at night to fix it. Only two staff members working at night - receptionist and security. They tried to help us but they ended up changing our room around 12:30’AM. The following the assured us that the air conditioning was fixed. However, when we went to the room the air conditioning was not working. So they ended up again charging our room at 01:00AM.
Furthermore, the room/bathroom was not cleaned for the last 3 days.
There is a clear lack of staff with only two people working at night in a hotel with 500+ rooms.
The same happened during breakfast where there was a clear lack of staff with coffee machines not working properly.
The communal areas are great.
To the hotel management- hire more staff.

This place felt more like your frat house in college than a hotel. Parties organized and made by the hotel every single evening of the week and weekend until midnight: goodbye restful night and energized morning. We had to sacrifice a full morning in Florence to recuperate. Each time I asked for an extra blanket, or info about coffee machine at the room, thry always consistently said \"I have no idea\" and \"I am not the person for that question\" and left you with no further info. Our cover mattress was not even placed on the bed, we had to take care of it (it was left stuffed at the front of the bed). We also got locked in the stairway and our cards were not able to open the doors. BIG hazardous risk. There was no indicationnsaying of it was emergency only, staff only, etc. We were knocking at the door repeatedly until a client openned us. Oh and they gilt -trip you with a thermostat with a polar bear and an iceberg and when you reach a certain time to take your shower warm like any normal human being on a trip, the iceberg melts and the polar bear drowns. Last, at the breakfast room I was greeted with an eye roll as I politely asked for a coffee.

This hotel was in a great location. About 15-20 minute walk from the shopping but the walk is amazing. The hotel is also peaceful at night as it is far enough away from everything. Staff was very attentive and the pool and gym were very very nice. 10/10 would stay here again if I am in the area!

Mixed feeling about this property. Far too ‘self-serve’ to be a genuine “ wonderful” hotel. Positive : The hotel is just 15 minutes walking distance from the
train station. Very convenient in terms of location and they offer a complimentary luggage room , this is an advantage comparable to the other hotels. Negative: be patient during your check - in and check out. They have only 1 person at the front desk to help you ; and we waited a long time in order to be served.However, they do offer an online check in case you are a tech person. The rooms are ok, does look more a “ fancy” student dormitory. Negative: the minibar products is to pricey , pay attention to not be charged for drinks you did not consume.The price is comparable to drinks at the hotel's lobby bar. The restroom at the basement level was a nightmare, extremely dirty! The pool at the rooftop is just for an instagram photo shoot, I would not take a chance to go for a swim. The breakfast is good, but get there early. The restaurant is far too small comparable with the number of guests they do receive. To be fair, still not sure why they have such high reviews. The place is beautiful, that’s it! but nothing special in terms of service.

Wonderful hotel. So many options. It’s beautiful and the rooftop bar and pool has the best views of Florence. The room was comfortable and clean. The AC worked perfectly! The location is so close to downtown and the train station. It was a 10-15 minute walk to everything I needed. The food and drinks were great! The staff was very friendly and responsive.

I would say this property is average overall. It’s walkable and accessible. The building is beautiful on the outside but the rooms are a bit dated and the elevators are a bit slow. We asked several times for help and they did fine to our room to see the problem, but the lights were never fixed and we were never offered a different room.

This hotel was perfect for me and my girlfriend to stay in. They are LGBTQ+ friendly. The room was very spacious and the beautiful tall windows gave us the most incredible view of Florence. Not to mention the AC was ice cold and the water in the shower got nice and hot. We were able to do our laundry on site which was a major plus! Our favorite part was the rooftop pool that we got to enjoy with great drinks from the bar while enjoying the 360 view of the city. Later in the evening there was live music downstairs on the terrace.We loved how out front there were lime scooters conveniently located for us to rent and navigate around the city. Each staff member was so friendly. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again

Wish the rooms were more clean. The curtains had stains, felt like they could have done a better job cleaning, and our fridge in the room did not work, even after they “fixed” it.

Unique property with substantial amenities! This hotel had an abundance of unique areas such as a downstairs outdoor lounge/bar area with live music on certain days, rooftop pool and bar with view to Florence, and a rooftop gym (also stunning view). Best part we enjoyed was the free laundry room! We were able to do loads of laundry, the only downside is you can’t run more than one machine at a time which extended our laundry time. They also have a downstairs game room and music room adjacent to the laundry to pass time. However, during our stay non of the instruments in the music room were working.

In regards to the rooms, some were on the smaller side but honestly laid out nicely and didn’t feel too cramped. It does have a dorm-like feel, but we didn’t mind. A majority of the guest were young and some families. Beware that some nights it was a bit noisy with some events, but definitely bearable.

The only downside (although not the hotels fault) was the distance to the city, it is out of the way and about a 20-30min walk to major sites. The tram does stop right in front of the property so you can easily take that to the Central train station or other parts of Florence to shorten the commute. But overall, highly recommend this property!

The hotel is excellent! Location is amazing, especially the tram stop directly outside. The rooms and bathrooms are modern and really nice. In our room, as lovely as it was, there was just a lot of dust in the air - I think it’s just because the ceilings are so high. The surfaces were cleaned well. Everything else was great though and the staff were lovely. We even got a free coffee whilst waiting for our room which was sweet.
