This hotel (resort) is right by the marina in South Lake Tahoe; parking lot adjoins the marina parking lot and we were steps from the gelato shop. I would definitely consider this hotel if you have a family/small children because of the proximity of the private beach. Beautiful and so easy to play in the water, go back to the room to clean/warm up, and then go back to the beach. Walking distance to shops, groceries, etc… Great location and a very clean, well-appointed room.

Property is a quick walk to a private beach and you can take fishing charters or rent paddle boards or jet skis within walking distance. Many stores and restaurants are also within an easy walk. Only thing my kids were bummed about was the description said game room and arcade but there was only a room with a pool table and board games.

Room was very clean and we loved the private balcony upstairs. The Townhouse was a perfect room for a family of 4. Kids slept on the queen pull put couch bed. Private beach was top notch, raked smooth every morning with plenty of lounge chairs and beach towels provided in the room. The fire pits at night where so nice too. Lots to do around the area all walking distance. Coffee shop, ice cream, stores, restaurants.

My kids and I enjoyed the location. The beach was great. Had all the things you needed for a fun beach day, including chairs and fire pits and bbq’s. The playground, Pickleball, volleyball and basketball courts were also entertaining for my children. The rec room with the pool table was also a nice touch. The rooms were a little outdated and it was very hot. There was no AC other than that we enjoyed our stay.

It was such an easy check in process, we were able to check in early. Amazing amenities, private beach was nice and clean! We relaxed on the beach all day, enjoyed the fireplace and jacuzzi at night. They had a gas grill that we cooked some steak on and everything was so quiet! There is a whole food across the street and a delicious BBQ place that is walkable!

Overall the experience was good. However there was one major item that spoiled our stay. We stayed in a one bedroom unit. The main bed was great. However, the sofa sleeper was awful. My companion was so uncomfortable and wound up sleeping on the couch cushions, which was only marginally better. An establishment like this should never allow such a worn out, poor quality mattress to be in service.

The pictures of this room on Expedia make it look like it is close to the beach and has a lakefront-view balcony. However, the room is actually located in the building farthest from the lake and does not have a beach view.

The accommodations were unsatisfactory, particularly due to the discomfort of the bed. When we requested an alternative room, we were informed that no other rooms were available. Instead, we were provided with an old, thin, and unclean mattress topper, and no assistance was offered in placing it on the bed.
Although signage clearly indicated that pets were not permitted, several guests had pets on the premises that barked continuously throughout the night. When we contacted the service desk to report the disturbance, no corrective action was taken, and the pets remained on site.
Additionally, the absence of air conditioning further contributed to the overall discomfort of our stay.

We had a really nice stay at Tahoe Beach & Ski Club. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious — honestly bigger than we expected for a one-night stay. The appliances and furniture are a bit older, but everything worked perfectly fine. The room also had a fridge and two TVs, which made it feel comfortable and convenient.
Even though we only stayed one night, it felt like a place where we could easily stay several more days and relax. The private beach was one of the best parts and gave the whole trip a more peaceful vibe. Overall, the hotel felt very family-friendly and welcoming. Great spot if you want a relaxed South Lake Tahoe stay.

There was no AC in the rooms but I think that may be standard for some hotels in Tahoe. They had ceiling fans and a stand up fan, plus having fresh air from patio was nice and kept room fresh. We definitely recommend and would come again

They did not disclose this and equipment and appliances were all over and in the hallways. We had a great time but its getting a little old when they want to charge Resort Fees but don't provide the "Resort"!

So just went to this place 4/3- my honest opinion. Check in was easy and they had snacks . Bonus!! We were in building 3 and when we walked through the building door I had a bad feeling as there were only stairs, and they looked old. Got to the room and we had two bedrooms and three bathrooms, a living area and a bar with stools and a kitchen table. I brought my adult children and it was perfect. It looked like it was decorated in the 80-90’s but the idea of all of us there was perfect. The beach was walkable and the tennis courts were in great shape. The game room was fun . It would be perfect for the summer- I got a great deal- parking was good. But now the question: would I stay again.. sure.. the full kitchen with all the dishes and coffee pot - no dishwasher. Full fridge. It was good- are there updated places - sure. But they are doing reconstruction not sure on what. The beds were comfortable as well.

The location is excellent — right by Lake Tahoe with a private beach that is peaceful and beautiful. It’s also very close to the marina where you can take boat tours, which made everything very convenient.

One small issue during check-in was that the hotel was quite busy and they forgot to send us the text message notifying us that our room was ready, so we ended up waiting over an hour longer than necessary. However, once we got into the room, everything was smooth and comfortable.
The only minor downside was that you could hear a bit of creaking from the floor when the upstairs neighbors were walking, but overall the place was good，location is that there are convenient places nearby. There’s a Whole Foods across the street and a very popular breakfast Red Hut，1.2 mile to Heavenly Condola

We had a great experience. We got the corner room which had a huge balcony, and also a small balcony attached to the master bedroom. If we have to nitpick, one issue we did run into was with the thermostat. They have these super old school analog thermostats which work differently based on room size. The master bedroom is too sensitive and gets extremely hot for the same setting in the living room. Our 3 year old daughter woke up in the middle of the night because of the room getting too hot. I think digital thermostats come super cheap these days, so they should invest in replacing these analog ones in all the rooms.
Apart from that, we had an awesome stay, but probably wont be back until they replace the thermostats.

The room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. The location was perfect. Rated three due to the fact that it had to have the thinness walls of anywhere we have ever stayed. If you’re on the first floor and there are people in the room above you it will sound like there are elephants roaming, also the doors at each end of the building, unfortunately slam, and we were the room closest to those, so at all hours into the night and very early in the morning, the door was constantly slamming. We understand this was during New Year’s week so probably the busiest they are all year, but honestly, it took three sound machines a fan and earplugs and you could still hear the doors and the people above us. Again, if noises and hearing everybody around does not bother you, then the location was great. Due to the noise and being woken up all night and bright and early in the morning we don’t think we would book this place again.
