I loved how close in proximity it was to everything. I’ve suite was amazing for our family of 4 with all the amenities. KAREN is amazing! Such a wonderful front desk girl. Sold us on coming back.

The property is great. It’s clean and at a good location. The stuff at the check in center is not too friendly. The big change from two years ago is that they charge $30 for parking and valet parking only. It’s not convenient at all.

Did not expect to be ushered into a “sales pitch” upon arrival. Spent 20 minutes listening to rep try to convince us to attend a sales presentation. The room was disappointingly small, heater fan was loud (so didn’t use heater) the shower was so forceful it hurt. Would not use this facility again. Not worth it.

Our stay at Hilton Vacation Club South Lake Tahoe did not feel like a relaxing vacation experience. The property felt more focused on timeshare sales every time your work in the door, rather than guest comfort and hospitality. One major disappointment was the lack of daily room service, which guest has be scheduled well in advance. The pool area service was also inconvenient. There were no drinks or meal services available poolside, so I had to walk to the bar to place food orders and then wait 30–45 minutes before picking them up and returning to the pool. Another frustrating policy was that late check-outs were only offered to guests who attended the timeshare presentation sessions, which made the experience feel even more sales-driven. Considering we paid over $500 per night, the overall experience did not meet expectations. I have stayed at other Hilton Vacation Club properties before and received much better service and hospitality.

Great location, neat location to stay. Rooms were clean, but aged. Furniture is old and pretty beat up. We stayed with young kids and went to bed around 8. The way the location is laid out the courtyard is great for kids playing and adults go hangout, but the drawback is it is loud so made it hard to get our kids to sleep.

I had a good enough stay, except for the room I got, which was extremely dark inside with no sunlight, and had a very close view of the parking downstairs. I actually called the front desk immediately after checking in to ask if you could offer a different room, since I didn't want to stay there for three nights with no privacy if I opened a curtain, 10 feet away from all the cars parked. However, the lady I spoke with said you couldn't. Then I slowly started learning that your place was more for Hilton timeshare guests, so no wonder I got the room I stayed in. In the end, I took it as it was and enjoyed my stay.

What ever you do, do not stay in room 224A or B. Industrial fan low frequency hmmm. So bad it would open the blackout curtains. Staff very disingenuous. Take your money type of location. I am a Hilton hotel honors member and this service was average on its best day. I'm sure it tough to find good staff.

My wife and I are usually tight on a budget, but decided to spend a little more because of the location of this place, and we were both amazed at how wonderful everything was! The room that we got had its own little kitchen and the bathroom was a good size! There are multiple businesses that are within walking distance, and you're right next to a beach! Totally would book again.

Amazing resort, with restaurant, bar and game room with pool tables and shuffleboard. BBQ's available outside and when its snowing the kids can make snowmen in this area. There is a indoor, outdoor pool and jacuzzi, which is super nice when there is snow.

Good location on the beach, restaurants and shops were close by. Next to lake cruises and sailing from Ski Run Marina. The beds were very hard and not that comfortable. Complementary coffee/water and fruits/pastries (usually offered in other resort lobby areas like Marriot resorts) were not available for guests using the property game room, pool, and grounds. There was a self serve/self pay snack shop next to the check-in desk. Self parking cost the same as valet parking and was not conveniently located on the property. This made getting personal items from your car or even loading your car very inconvenient. Check out time required everyone to wait for your car to be fetched.

We booked this hotel for a family vacation. We specifically booked this one because it said it had an indoor pool being it was cold outside when we went I wanted the kids to have something to do inside. However, the indoor pool was connected to the outdoor pool through the wall so it was extremely cold and the water was cold. Therefore, my kids were not able to swim. I also found the valet parking very inconvenient. We were told we had to pay $27 a day for valet parking and no self parking option on site. Honestly on several occasions we had to call or text for our vehicle. On one specific occasion I did so then we waited out in the freezing cold with our kids for our car. They drove the car up and parked it in the middle of the road blocking traffic. I was putting my baby in the car seat and had people honking at me to hurry up. The room was basic. I feel like for a Hilton It was a mediocre experience. I was unimpressed to be honest.

I did not visit the pool.I did sit in the BBQ area for a short time,Because there was 3 of us in our room and there is only 2 chairs to eat at the table. While using that area. There was a Horrible Repeating Dinging sound I believe coming from the Hot Tub.
Not relaxing at all. The kitchencould use a mixi g bowl and a Large Bowl.The Knife was super dull for cutting. Over all a Great Stay and even better the new Link App. for transportation.

Overall we had a great stay. It was clean and the location was really convenient. Although I have to say, just be careful of the people in the concierge.. they will skillfully draw you in for the Hilton grand vacation thing instead of checking you in right away.

The hotel was clean & spacious, however, the room was not in the best condition. The restroom door locked was broken. The water was warm, not hot. The stove did not work. Other than that, the room was okay.

The valet parking was not convenient at all. It was super crowded and packed during check-in & check-out. When checking out, one of my group member’s car key was misplaced & it took the staff 10-15 minutes to find it. It also took about 30 minutes for them to bring out one of our cars. With $27 valet parking, it was not worth it.

Room, service, and amenities were fine, but the bed was extremely bad. All of us could not sleep well. My back hurts a lots and AC were so loud and made my throat so dry, so I barely slept both nights. We had extra day for offer but I just couldn't wait to go home to sleep.

This hotel offers a lot of great perks. The pool and hot tubs are great! They have a fun activity center area with games, outdoor areas to bbq, movie rentals, plus a bar with pool tables. Very centrally located in South Lake Tahoe.

For me the negatives of this property are the length of time it takes getting someone to give your keys to for the required valet parking situation. During check in time (4 pm) it took over 45 minutes! Additionally I don’t enjoy the concierge always trying to sign you up for time share presentations and the very firm beds.

The property is old. The airconditioner never worked, set it temp to 65 but the room stayed at 71 and humid. Finding the room is like a maze got lost everytime.. No ice machine on the 1st level. It's a valet parking, you need to text the TICKET NUMBER ONLY, no custom message if you want them to get your car out from their parking lot. Good thing about it is that it is close to the lake, amazing food and shops around.

The hotel only has valet parking (no self parking allowed), when I mentioned this was not in hotels.com I was told it was. However it is posted as valet available not no self parking available. Most resorts have valet parking but don’t force you to pay $27 and not park yourself. So just know you will PAY RESORT FEE AND VALET FEE.

The room was clean. The pool was very cool. You can swim between the inside and outside. 2 hot tubs one inside one outside and a dry sauna. Very nice. Lots of equipment in the gym but if there are more than 2 people working it you have no room to really use the equipment.

Because this is a Hilton vacation club resort you will be stopped and asked if you want to participate in a vacation club presentation (time share).

The property was ok. Location was perfect to get to Heavenly, Whole Foods and places to eat. It’s family friendly. However on the downside, the property seemed old. The units had an odd odor. We purchased some candles to burn but it didn’t help much. The appliances in the kitchen were old. The dishwasher was out of the wall. There is a resort fee to use the pool and activity room which we did not use. We did however use the pool tables which was fun. Renting DVD’s was very retro. We rented DVD’s and when palyed, they were in Spanish and/or very scratched so skipped. We called the front desk with not much help. Old technology in general.

Overall stay was pricey considering the condition of the units and outdated amenities.

The room was ok and the amenities were okay as well. The staff was welcoming and tended to my concerns. But the people staying next to our room were so loud, very disruptive, had so many visitors, running and banging on our foyer door. They had maybe 15 people in and out of that room. The shouting and disruptive neighbors made our stay very unpleasant. I did complain and the staff did ask them to quiet down, it still continued throughout the night and the following day. This is a huge red flag to us, as someone who uses a timeshare hotel very often, this is unheard of with worldmark. It genuinely makes me reconsider staying here again

Rooms are rundown and the bed was very uncomfortable and extremely small (I think a full). Facilities were okay, pool was nice and work out center decent. Service was good as well. But I really couldn’t get past how average the rooms were. Needed a paint job, tiles in the bathroom were molding, weird smells from the neighboring room were coming in, etc. overall not going to go back to stay here

Over all it was a nice stay. For the brand Hilton, I was hoping for more. The beds are a little stiff and uncomfortable and same with their little couches for their living room. Everything was really clean. Service was really nice. Theres a lot of hidden fees (like you have to pay for wifi every day, you cannot park your own car and must use valet parking which is additional fees), and I was hoping they would have complimentary breakfast but didnt. I liked the location in relation to where it was for everything in South Lake Tahoe

There’s only valet service and it’s inconvenient if you don’t have a key card to your Tesla. Offsite parking is a block away across two main streets. It’s dangerous and cold at night when you have to get the car or park the car at the location. Super inconvenient.
