We only needed to stay one night, so cost was most important factor. For price, great hotel. Not many amenities, but close to shopping/restaurants. Older hotel, but room was comfortable, bathroom was clean, pool was nice, and check in was easy. Even received a complimentary beer, which I took full advantage of (nice touch!).

This was an excellent location and the staff was more than helpful, friendly and accommodating.
The rooms are clean and have what you need. They are not large, but we spent so much time outside, they were more than sufficient. There is good desk for working remotely, and we have mountain views. The bed was very comfortable with top quality sheets. Internet was good, 10 score walkability, heated outdoor pool. I would highly recommend the Station House.

The location of the Station House Inn was great. The pool and hot tub were an added benefit. There was a slight inconsistency in the quality of the staff. Some of the front desk people were awesome, and others were not. There was also an inconsistency in the pass for the Lakeshore Beach. One front-desk person gave a woman a free pass, but we had to pay $15 each. That made me feel a little weird. By the way, Lakeshore Beach access is worth the $15 if you want to enjoy a sandy beach and maybe a dip in the lake; however, I would NOT go to the grill. The food was terrible and overpriced. We ordered a watermelon salad and shrimp tacos. They were out of the mozzarella for the salad, so it was just a big bag of Costco kale salad mix with a few pieces of watermelon ($25), and the cook did not de-vein the shrimp (gross), and the tacos were drowning in a chipotle mayo sauce ($25). I also found the service to be lacking, but that seemed to be common in Lake Tahoe. Overpriced food and bad wait staff.

The Station House was perfect for our quick get away. We were surprised by what it offered for the price. We were kindly greeted, offered a free beverage and even a s’mores kit for the multiple fire pits. The facility was nice and it was a great walking location to many things including the beach. We will be back.

We had a great time here. You can’t beat the location, the lobby is really nice with water on tap and coffee. We used the pool and hot tub, and you can check out towels at the front desk. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable, but we didn’t use the pillows because they were very very fluffy and hurt your neck.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We especially loved that the hotel provided complimentary drinks during check-in, which was a nice touch.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. We had no issues during our stay and felt well taken care of from start to finish. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Made our reservation at 10:40AM. At 4pm they sent a msg they had overbooked (of course AFTER they had already charged us). Nope! They offered a much lesser room at a sister site (same fee). Nope again! Poor poor customer service! Do NOT recommend. They kept us on hold over 30 mins to not even say I’m sorry.

The complimentary s'mores kit and welcome beverages were nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The bed was too soft for us which made it hard to sleep. The room we were in was a bit \"quirky\" -- old-fashion looking lights and army green paint on the walls and bathroom tiles. Overall we felt it was a bit dark in the room and the bathroom. The shower water pressure was excellent. It's fine for an overnight or a crash pad while skiing or doing water sports. I don't recommend the hotel for a romantic getaway.

First time staying in South Tahoe.
It was such a great place! The room was nice, big, and comfortable.
We got a king suite with a queen pull out couch.
We needed an extra bed and the staff brought over a roll away bed and bedding.
It’s walking distance to the heavenly shopping area.
Pool is heated/warm.
Had a guy out playing guitar and singing.
Fire pit and yard games available.
Overall was great, perfect for families.

The pictures don’t do it justice. It has so much character and has very nice wooden cabin inn vibes. The rooms are very spacious and clean. They have great amenities like a nice pool, fire pits, and board games. The location is also perfect. It’s two blocks from the beach and two blocks from Heavenly Village where all the shops are. It’s easy to walk to many places directly from the hotel. The staff was also incredible and super friendly. Great hospitality. I would stay here again the next time I visit.

Wonderful time at the Station House Inn with our dog, Gracie. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff were amazing and so helpful. We loved the amenities the Inn provided, to include a free Smores making kit, which was great around the firepit in the evening. Loved our free welcome drinks also. Easy walking distance to the shops at Heavenly and to all the restaurants. One thing that would be helpful, bigger waste baskets for the rooms....the ones in the room are a little too small. Thank you for a great stay, we would definitely stay again.

Incredible location right in the heart of town, just a 2-minute walk to the beautiful Lake Tahoe beach. The rooms were spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The hot tub and heated pool were amazing after a long day of walking, and a real highlight was the open fire area where they provided free s’mores kits. It created a lovely atmosphere and we ended up chatting with other travellers and had a great time.

Station House Inn was such a pleasant stay! They had a nice lobby, sitting areas all over for relaxing and fire pits, there was a restaurant in front of pool, rooms were clean, staff was so nice! It was convenient to walk to the beach and the town, the weather was great! We went on several hikes and drove the surrounding of Lake Tahoe, the sites and views were amazing! The paper coffee cups. Like a fortune cookie you had to fold the top of the cup to drink out of. It did not last, the cardboard got soggy and coffee spilled on my clothes. Get rid of them.

This place is a perfect spot to explore the Southlake Tahoe area with ease. The beach is just a short five minute walk and the pool area is super chill. I slept peacefully in a super comfy bed with nice bedding. Staff were knowledgeable and provided local recommendations for hikes and more. Def coming back!

We were pleasantly surprised with our great stay at Station House. I believe the Inn underwent an update in the last couple of of years and has that “Boutique Lodge” vibe. A few wear and tear spots…but, I truly believe management is trying to to maintain and keep it in good condition. The front desk missed informing us of all the great amenities they had to offer upon check in. I learned of the complimentary s’more set up and fire pit, movie night on Thursdays and Fridays & beverage service in the lobby through the reviews here. We also didn’t realize there is a lovely beach within walking distance ( The HOA charges an entrance fee starting Memorial Day weekend)
Our room was VERY clean and we gladly left a gratuity upon checking out-very hard work. One last thing…we requested a room in the center of the complex near the pool-in the off season it was quiet and nicer than the front buildings of the busy road.

Excellent hotel. Helpful staff. Great location and very rustic feel. Walk to beach, and all local shops, casinos. The restaurant attached, Toulouse, was delicious, all the dishes. The only issue was their internet. On multiple devices, I only got about 8-10 Mbps (super, super, slow), and a come-and-go signal at multiple places, room, pool, outside area. Great place overall, but if the internet is very important to you, call them first to see if anything has improved.

The lady who checked us in was so sweet. She gave us a complementary soda and sparkling water and told us about s’mores in the evening which we came back for and was such a delight! Pool and hot tub (didn’t use) dog friendly but, beds were way too soft and sleeping with my husband we rolled i to each other. Shower flooded not good drainage. But other than that worked for our needs. Close to all the shopping and eateries. Walking distance. Also provide snacks for Dogs. So overall cute place to stay!

Hands down the best place I’ve stayed in Tahoe for the price. The lodge has such a cozy, welcoming vibe the second you walk in. Staff was super helpful and informative, and the little perks like a complimentary drink and s’mores kit were such a fun touch.

The room was spotless, cozy, and had great ambiance lighting. Bed was extremely comfortable. Location is perfect, we walked everywhere (restaurants, casinos, everything).

I’ve stayed at more expensive places in Tahoe that weren’t half as nice. Will absolutely be staying here again.

The staff were phenomenal especially Stacy. The room was rather small and kinda disjointed. The shower was great, with the highest water pressure I have EVER felt in my entire 68 years! Nothing even remotely close. All that being said… THE ROOM WAS DARK!!! Only 1 hanging light and 2 end table lights, all 3 with incredibly ineffective lightbulbs. I just happened to have 2 flashlights in my truck which we used constantly just to see into the clothes drawers and anything we needed off the dresser. Not sure I would stay here again because of the lighting issue alone.

My husband and I stayed a couple nights here for his birthday, checkin was was easy and we enjoyed the extra treat of our choice of beverage; either craft beer, soda, tea or hot chocolate. Our room had been recently renovated and had a very cozy cabin feel too it. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever had, mega bonus points (to us for that). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was heated and even though it was April it was the perfect temperature to enjoy, as well as the hot tub. The location was convenient with a short walk to the beach or the Heavenly Resort for food, shopping and entertainment. We will definitely come back again, next time with the kiddos!

The front desk was so informative, and the complimentary beverages was such a great touch. The room was charming, furnished to meet the overall vibe of the property. The only issue was with the shower, as you had to reach in to turn on the water, and were likely met with ice cold water until it had a chance to warm up, and the fans were a little on the loud side. But would definitely stay here again, if i'm ever in the Tahoe area.

This hotel is such a hidden gem. The community areas are so nice, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the rooms are clean and well equipped. The room even had heat lamps in the bathroom for when you get out of the shower - I’ve _never_ seen this in a hotel, let alone a budget one.

My only complaint is the walls are quite thin. If your neighbors are watching TV or getting freaky you _will_ hear it.

The hotel is in the middle of everything but not on South Lake Tahoe so it’s quit and safe. The room was very pleasant and had a cabin feel to it. The pool and hot tub (very small fits 3 people). Overall, very good hotel.
