Staff was so so nice! Really lovely front desk experience. We just needed an easy place for a night for a kids lesson at Heavenly and also dog friendly. This worked for that and I wasn’t expecting anything fabulous. I just needed basic, clean and convenient. It was a quick walk to Heavenly, parking was easy. It served its purpose and priced appropriately for what it provided.

The place was old and outdated! My children were locked out of a room several times due to the keypad not working! The bathroom had what appeared to me look like mold on the ceiling! Couldn’t even stay 24 hours, checked out early! My kids and I were stuck in our hallway not sure if they were going to be able to collect my belongings from that room!

When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk to help with check in (had to call another number and wait 10 min fo someone to show up). When we checked in, we weren’t given a WiFi code. Didn’t realize we needed one until we got to the room. When I tried to call down to the front desk to ask about it, found out that the in room phone didn’t work. Oh, a don’t bother trying to watch football playoffs, cable channel selection is limited.

Can’t expect much since this was cheapest place we can find for a one night weekend stay. But just be aware the walls are paper thin so if you’re sensitive to noise then bring a sound machine. Breakfast is basic to go foods like fruit, muffins, and oatmeal packets. There’s also coffee and tea. Cleanliness was what you can expect from a motel and decent for a one night stay

The rooms were very neglected. The first room we got had a leak in the toilet. The hand towel and the faucet to the sink were loose. The room was not properly cleaned. There was dirt and dust throughout the room. It just didn’t look clean. The breakdown that is advertised as “continental breakfast” is just cereals and bagels.

We booked this hotel because I was in town for work and just needed something close by, didn’t want to spend a ton. You definitely get what you pay for. It was decent enough however, Run down. Mold on ceiling in bathroom, used water bottles/misc. items under the bed. The elevator was a bit sketchy. It was nice to have a grab and go type breakfast included and “game room”. The best part of this hotel was the location right across the end of heavenly village. The staff we interacted with were kind as well.

Lol. There is no mountain view. The room is dated, overpriced. Carpet in halls looks old & dirty. $10 parking & you better get there early or you will not get a spot. The only plus to staying here is you can walk to nearby restaurants but just realize there will be a 45- 120 minute wait for a seat at the nearby restaurants.

Everything is old and broken. I was there with my wife and 3 young adult children. We got two rooms. Both had broken drawers, doors and ac/heater that did not work. There was people outside our rooms yelling all night. The WiFi is non existent. This place needs an upgrade real bad, also got charged $10 for parking, nuts huh. I won’t be back to this place.

Amber is the best! She truly cares and wants to help in any way she can. Her customer service and hospitality was the best I've experienced in a long time. This hotel is really lucky to have her. She made me feel at home during my extended stay.

Decent hotel for a decent price! The hotel had somewhat of a rustic cottage vibe to it, which was pretty fitting given that we're in Lake Tahoe. It was a great walking distance to the shops at Heavenly Village, so that was amazing.

We arrived and nobody was at the front desk to check in. Parking garage was too small for our pickup truck. Area looked unsafe. We didn’t stay. We had to find another hotel. Luckily at a cheaper price and a larger hotel/casino. The picture on the website did not show current looks of the In Hotel.

Once we arrived, we were given keys to a dirty room. Went back to the front desk and received keys for another room and there was trash left in the trash can from a previous guest. The light in the sink was out and the hall carpets were dirty and full of trash. I requested wash clothes and was advised it would take 5 minutes, and the towels were never received. I wasn’t pleased with my stay, and there weren’t any remorse or action to rectify the situation. I wouldn’t stay here again!

Deposit that i was charged has still not been refunded. We left the place with no damage. I keep calling the front desk and no one ever answers.
The first time we checked in, the receptionist gave us an occupied room and I walked in on people being intimate. The front desk lady was nonchalant about it and gave us another room and said \" i think this one should be empty\".

Oh how I hesitated to write this review. For the price, it’s “you get what you paid for”. The bathroom sink is in the main room, annoying. The carpet is old and musty, and, well you get the picture. The parking is a challenge, there are strange cement posts at the bottom of the support beams which separate each spot that look like they’ve been hit and scraped by many a guest over the years. On the upside, it’s in an ideal location. They allow dogs but we didn’t hear any barking until about 9am one morning out of the three nights we stayed here. The staff is very nice and the morning coffee was good.

Room was not clean, walls were dirty and discolored, the sheets were dirty or stained (not sure which) the shower was moldy and did not drain well (so we showered with our feet in standing water) the AC/Heater did not work properly, the T.V. would work for awhile then get jumbled and distorted.
The only plus is the location.

Very clean, all the amenities I could want (microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge, etc.), great hygiene products, plenty of towels, and a working a/c-heat unit! Location is perfect for walking around town without having to worry about parking; parking can be tight though so if you have a big truck, you may need to park in a non-covered spot. Parking is $10 per day (which I did not see mentioned when I booked, but it's not a biggie) and there is plenty but it's under the building and in between skinny poles. We parked our SUV in there, but my personal car would not have fit due to narrowness. Only bummer the whole time was that breakfast wasn't even started on our first morning there, a Friday, so at 7:15am, we had no coffee and nothing was out for grabs in the kitchen beyond a couple oranges, apples, and three brown bananas. We did find someone on staff to go in, but by then, it was too late and we had to leave. (I wouldn't call it a continental breakfast necessarily, mostly fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal packets. If you're hiking or traveling around, you'll need more.) We'd definitely stay there again though, we just got breakfast at the Driftwood each day, great stuff.

On the positive side the property is within walking distance of a beach, many good restaurants, shopping, and casinos. They are cat and do friendly and parking is plentiful. On the less positive side, the property is a bit run down. Rooms are clean but also dilapidated in some areas. For example my room had an updated bathroom but a very worn out carpet.

The rooms need a complete overall. They were dingy and dirty. The corners had dirt and dust in them, tile in the bathroom was disgusting, abd the walls were dirty. The patio attached to our room had litter all over and the cushions/outdoor furniture had not been cleaned off or tended to for a long time. The only positive was that the sheets were clean, and the beds were comfortable.

The location was great but very disappointing in our room. It looked nothing like the picture and was very dirty. The room showed that it was hardwood floors and it was actually really old dirty carpet. We had a patio but it was very dirty and would not dare spend any time there. The cushions on the outdoor patio looked as if they have never been cleaned and with spider webs. Wish I could get some type of compensation back for feeling deceived!!!!

The hotel is really old and it shows. There are no screens on the windows so you can open them. The breakfast is just some cereal, package rolls, bagels. There was hardly anyone at the front desk always needed to call for service. The elevator broke down our first night and we had older people with us and had a hard time going up and down the stairs.
