Staff were very very nice and nothing was too much trouble. Room was ok, shower and toilet doors were a bit of a bad design (all glass and runners not very good)

Good was acceptable for what we paid and was fair amount of choice, no gluten free bread or cakes. Limited desserts.

None of the above was a problem I'm just being honest and would stay again if on similar budget.

Excellent hotel and location at this price point, have stayed before and will stay again. Doesn't have the 'bells and whistles' of some other hotels, but is clean and friendly. Our only fault was the 'heated pool' is cold - but to be fair we did visit out of the peak season (but the pool was supposed to be warm even at this time). Certainly not a deal breaker for us though.

The hotel is quietly tucked away in the corner of the sea front, away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are clean, with daily house keeping. The air conditioning in the rooms is fantastic. Shower is powerful. Sea view “balcony” is actually enclosed within the room with wide opening sliding windows. Personally I would prefer an actual balcony, but wonderful views still the same. The only thing I think the hotel could offer additionally in the rooms is a kettle/ tea-coffee maker. Reception staff were all friendly and helpful.

Booked the hotel on the strength of reviews and I have to say on the whole it was OK. Property was nice and clean and well maintained. My fear was the food as we went half board, I have to say it wasn't the best but not the worst. Very middle of the road but I think the menu was more for the Spanish clients. That leads me to the point of being British, it was a major hurdle. If you were Spanish the staff couldn't do enough for you but being British was clearly a handicap. They did what was needed and that was it. The welcome in the restaurant in an evening was \"room number\" but if you were Spanish they were laughing and joking hugging the family and kids ect ect. On the whole not a bad place to stay, just don't expect a warm welcome.

The staff were pleasant enough. The view was very good. The rooms were shrowded in a terrible green light, unfit for humankind. The breakfast was cheap and easy but due to the area, I am unsure I would share much with the people who fill the dinjng roo, in general, apart from a liking of hashbrowns and fried eggs. If you want an innexpsive nights stay, I would say that your peraonal worth is more than the area and the mirrors provide. Spend an extra twenty and go up a star. I am not prissy but am attempting to allow you to make your mind up and spend a little more, if you are sensetive.

We had a very good experience staying at the hotel for 6nights. Good facilities right next to the beach and the hotel offers a beach towel rental service. Air conditioned room and a comfortable bed. Really beautiful view of the coast line for the sea view room. Only downside is that the walls are really thin so we could constantly hear the guests in the room next door and could hear their doors banging late at night. Also the shower has only a half glass panel door which meant the floor was constantly getting wet when showering. Apart from this we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel and would recommend it.

Clean comfortable rooms with fantastic sea views from our room, the restaurant and outside lounging area.
Friendly helpful staff.
Straight on to the beach and seafront from the hotel.
The only problem we had - towards the end of our stay - was from inconsiderate noisy young male Brits, in the rooms either side of us, keeping us awake until 4am. Thoughtless idiots

Good hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Bed was a bit hard for my liking, but not a major issue.

Upon arrival, we were told that there was no car parking space available, but we managed to resolve the issue. Parking space was a bit tight for the size of car that we had rented and my parking ability ;-)

Great service from front desk night manager Anthony and day manager Hani and restaurant staff Mr izhar was extremely helpful and gave me information about local shops and other attractions in the area i booked here after being in other hotel and found this extremely relaxing and pollution free ,Sunset views of the bay was breathtaking booked extra nights after initially booking for a week definitely coming back last but not the least live Spanish dancing was extremely awesome.

Benikaktus well worth staying!

Looks like the bathroom facilities are fairly newly refurbished in the room. The showers are excellent, was awoken though by some very noisy plumbing. Soon sorted by leaving the plug in the sink which didi the job. My brother in other room didnt have this issue.

All in all a good place to stay wonderful views, easy access, right on the beach.

Food was as expected, good enough but lacking a certain finesse. However plenty of choice at breakfast.

Stopover on the way from Valencia to Granada. Room was half board - breakfast and dinner. Was ok nothing to rave about. Breakfast was better than dinner, with the usual bread, ham, cheese but it did have cereals and yoghurt and the best part was the fresh fruit. Hit meals available like scrambled eggs, baked beans, bacon and sausages my husband said the breakfast was great. Our room was a superior which we had a fab view of the sea and corner windows opening right out. Room was standard hotel room but the balcony was worth the extra money and nice views at night. After dinner there was dancing with music. Pool closed at 7 pm which I thought was a bit early. Parking self but you got charged.

Clean, relaxed beach-side hotel with great views

Stayed at Benikaktus for 4 nights at the end of June on a lads, well 40 year old lads, holiday.
Hotel location is excellent right on the beach and a nice walk down the beach towards the new town and bars. Rooms were kept very clean although decor is a little dated. We had sea views which were great looking out across the beach and towards the old town. We stayed half board and food we had was typical buffet standard. The bar area in the hotel was nice with good views. Hotel generally was quiet and we didnt have any issues to complain about. Only thing to watch out for is that, as nice as the beachwalk is, dont attempt it alone in the early hours, a few dodgy characters hanging around there looking for lone drunk walkers! Try Little Bobs down the beach front bars area, excellent food!

Fantastic hotel

Cannot fault this hotel, I have stayed in Benidorm many times but this is first time in this hotel. On arrival had a speedy check in. Room very comfortable and clean. Large bathroom with clean towels every day. Stayed full board, food choice and quality excellent. The pool area and sunbed terrace is lovely with a fantastic view. The best thing about this hotel are the balcony views which are fantastic, whether you sit with the windows open or shut it is as wonderful experience. Will definitely not stay anywhere else in the future.

Selected this hotel due to quiet location and would recommend it. Food is not great but always managed to find something I liked especially the desserts and you have the staple options -chicken, pork, veal - on offer every night.
Is based on a hill so those with walking difficulties should check out location fully before booking -but dont let that deter you as loads of people, young and old and those with/without walking difficulties used the buggies/scooters which are readily available for 40 euros for 1 week hire. Would return again no problem.

We stay at this hotel in april.our room was lovely, and the views from the room were really nice. .the room was cleaned everyday and new towels.we had half board..the food was nice..couldnt said anything bad really..the only thing that left this hotel down was some staff were not helpful to english speaking people and all night entertainment was for Spanish people. .its very close to the shops and pubs...would recommend if u want a hotel to just relax..

The views across the bay were amazing!

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel over the Christmas season. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is ideal if you have no problems with mobility but it is set on a steep hill. The rooms were very clean, if a little dated and as the balconies have glass curtains this makes the whole area usable with a day bed and a couple of recliner chairs and a table. Very relaxing to sit a while and take in the views across the bay at sunset. Within easy walking distance of many bars & shops and close to the local bus service point.

Picked this hotel because of its location and we were not disappointed. The view was fabulous , Our room was a corner room on the 9th floor ( 911 ) T.V was an added bonus as it had an English translation on it so we didn't just have news channels to watch . The bathroom had a small window in it and the light and view through that alone was more than you get in lots of hotels but the terrace had opening windows right round so you could sit in the sun till it set . Staff were all helpful and most of them very pleasant . Food was good and always hot , not a huge selection but you won't go hungry . Only downside no internet connection in rooms and a long walk up a long hill with cases from shuttle transfer but again not a real problem .

Hotel location was fantastic 5 min walk to all the bars and the views are stunning . The hotel is a bit dated but clean and tidy large balcony with lounger bed towels changed every day and cleaner in also steep hill but the door on -2 cut out the hill so good short cut

Breathtaking location

Have stayed there before. All rooms have a sea view to die for. Food is adequate. Very disappointed this time to find no English-speaking television channels. The least I expected was BBC World News and/or Sky News, even maybe CNN. Some sand on bedroom floor but not a major problem. The stunning view makes everything else pale into insignificance.

Stunning location

This wasa fantastic hotel. Breathtaking view from the excellent balcony room and tremendous value for money. Superb bar area and extremely efficient and polite staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would unquestionably stay again and recommend the hotel to friends and family. Benidorm out of season is a joy to behold, belying its tacky reputation and possibly the best resort of its kind anywhere.
