My wife and I stayed at Salinda Resort for a week to start our Honeymoon and had a wonderful time. This was the perfect place to ease ourselves into our multi-week Vietnam trip.

Their facilities are excellent, including an excellent spa and garden. We took full advantage of the onsite amenities, including morning yoga and a cooking class, both done in the heart of their garden.

The restaurants at the resort are all very good and cover a wide range of cuisines, with the standout being the breakfast buffet. The daily noodle soup specials have become our new favorite breakfast meal. Don't sleep on the indoor cocktail bar either, which features an excellent variety of drinks and a great cover band. The local town outside of the resort also hosts many of our favorite restaurants during our entire stay throughout Vietnam.

Lastly, the staff here was absolutely delightful and accommodating. We were always made to feel special, whether it was at the restaurants or the beach. Their hospitality and english-speaking skills were better than we could have asked for. Shout out to Marie and Daryl for taking very good care of us during our stay.

This was our second stay although this time only possible to stay on night.
Rooms and premises always clean and well maintained although it’s possible to see that time takes its tows here and there however only expected over time. Staff always endlessly polite and service minded. Location is great with close proximity to Markets, shops and restaurants nearby outside but CYAN restaurant inside hotel is excellent so not required to chase elsewhere.

Exquisite resort! Honestly 0 faults. Excellent service, clean, and beautiful. The pool is excellent. Plenty of chairs. Though the ones around the pool fill up, the beach has plenty with great natural palm tree shade steps away from either the pool or ocean. Food was really yummy and had a nice variety. They had a BBQ on the beach one night with great entertainment. Sunsets are incredible. Location is close to the airport but not noisy. We even had a “hill view” room facing the road but the trees blocked the view of the road and the sliding door was epically soundproof. The balcony was only good for drying clothes though so if you want to relax on the balcony I would pick an upgraded room.

The gardens around the property were lush and beautiful. It was a tropical oasis. The beach was clean and sandy and the water warm. There were ample beach chairs and the atmosphere around the pool was peaceful and serene. No screaming children or loud music. The bed was huge and comfortable and the room spacious.

We used the gym facilities and they were top notch and played a game of pool in the covered games area. But the breakfast was enough to warrant
booking this place. It was incredible. Anything your heart could desire and all artfully presented. It was a highlight every day. The staff were consistently cheerful and attentive. This place definitely earns its stellar reputation.

Room was lovely although seaview is the sea but you cant see the beach as too many beautiful trees in the way... hardship lol... i did the bbq on the beach... sooooo much food! Only negative and lets be honest its hard to be so negative is i struggled to find a sun lounger at the pool. I can also say the little touches this resort does makes me smile..... totally recommend as although a resort it doesnt feel touristy... ps... there is a mini mart across the road for cheap soft drinks....

This magnificent hotel is located in the heart of Phu Quoc Island, just a short walk from the town center. It has a unique private beach and a perfect swimming pool. The staff deserves five stars for their professionalism and constant readiness to exceed expectations. I highly recommend this hotel without hesitation; everything is readily available, and I won't hesitate for a second on my next visit. If this is your first time on the island, look no further—this is the perfect choice.

The room was clean and tidy, but the flooring looked old and had stain marks. The handheld shower was not working properly. If you are a solo traveller, the staff are generally not attentive, especially at the breakfast restaurant. The gym equipment was also not clean.

There were a few teething problems at the start of this stay. The Salinda pickup at the airport wasn’t ideal as I was waiting over 20 mins for other guests to arrive, after a long flight I just wanted to get there! So in the end I got a Grab and made myself to the resort. Not a great start. The welcome when I arrived was OK, free juices and a cold towel.
The room was beautiful and the premium sea view room certainly lived up to the name. Housekeeping staff were excellent.
The breakfast buffet is nice, a little more variety would be good. The staff at breakfast were efficient and professional. Although the uniforms that the women wore were something out of the handmaids tale, and they all wore crocs!! Someone needs to rethink this!
The hotel itself is showing signs of aging and could do with a refresh. Carpets stained and frayed, not exactly 5 star.
The cyan pool beach bar - the food was not good nor was it Vietnamese in anyway. Which was disappointing.
The pool is large and salt water is great, however there was no real service to get a drink, there is a flag to raise when you want service but no one comes. On several occasions I had to go to the bar to order and the wait staff were just standing around talking ignoring the guests.
Overall it was a pleasant stay, but not a 5 star resort in my opinion.

Turndown service included a small gift each evening which was nice. Live music downstairs and an activity to do each day as well as a games area. Restaurants looked nice but were a bit too expensive for us.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Salinda! The resort is beautiful and we enjoyed the overall layout of the resort. The pool area is wonderful and relaxing. We didn’t get a chance to swim in the ocean due to rough sea but the beach area was clean and the sand soft. There were pool chairs for everyone and very attentive pool staff. The breakfast each morning was a buffet feast! So many options and wonderfully laid out! We ate at the Italian restaurant on site and it was so good!! Our server was amazing! Our room was very nice, spacious and clean. The resort transportation was quick and efficient.
We highly recommend the Salinda and hope to return one day soon.

My adult daughter and I really enjoyed our 5 nights stay here. The resort was wonderful and the staff and facilities were faultless. We liked the variety and quality of the food at breakfast as well as the ambience (live piano). We also really enjoyed the two dining experiences we had at the Asian restaurant by the beach. The food was fantastic. It is a shame that the restaurant is not open on a Monday evening as we were looking forward to dining there on our last night. The gym facilities were excellent. It was clean and well maintained. Our Mountain View room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The grounds were well maintained and very beautiful. Highly recommend.

Salinda is a beautiful, private location. It’s like being on an island by yourself. The view of the beach and pool are spectacular and the gardens are lush. Everything is integrated with nature and it is healing and recuperative and a great way to unwind after the rush, rush of traveling through Japan and mainland Vietnam. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was great too (though we only ate the breakfast in-site—we ate at local restaurants for dinner (I highly recommend the Lobster Cave, near the night market.). Salinda staff cleaned our rooms every day without being asked; towels and umbrellas are provided depending on your needs and everything is provided with loving care. I truly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Salinda and will definitely try to come back. The only negative: it doesn’t appear that the hotels and bars in Vietnam don’t really understand how to make international cocktails. (Like pina coladas (not blended) for my daughter, or cosmopolitans for me.). But it’s a minor complaint. Everything else was top notch.

Lovely hotel set in lush gardens with an excellent pool overlooking the beach. Service at the pool is first class.

The breakfast buffet is superb.

However the hotel’s Internet is very variable, the ageing flat screen TV is barely watchable due to appalling reception and some elements in our room were faulty such as lighting and the USB port didn’t work.

A sea view with a balcony is a must!

The pool is a salt water pool, it is very clean. The restaurants are very large and accommodate a lot of people. The walking area is vast with a very neat park system. They have bicycles that are free to use for guests from 7am to 5pm and it helps see the area much easier, however , the more you travel via grab taxi around the island you realize that there is so much brand new construction and empty land not being utilized yet. The southern part of the island where the 8 km cable car and waterpark is located is going to be phenomenal once they are done building it.

The place itself is very nice. Spacious rooms with large comfy beds. Lovely resort with swimming pool and little private beach just for hotel guests. If you choose to eat there then the food is also nice. But the thing that made the stay really good was the staff. Everybody (and I mean everybody) from people doing meet and greet, reception, restaurant/catering, room service, cleaners, kid's play room...they were all super nice, welcoming, helpful and friendly. They were the real stars of the show and should be given due credit.

One hiccup we faced was our deep sea fishing trip was cancelled, but we were not notified by hotel staff due to weather related issue earlier, which was understandable, however we waited in the lobby for 30mins then told our driver was not coming. Salinda was by far the best resort I have been to! Their customer service goes above and beyond! Our room was serviced regularly, and they refilled glass water bottles as part of their sustainability program. Their breakfast buffet (with sparkling wine) was fresh, offered a great variety, and the chef can make special dishes if you have allergies. The salt water pool was refreshing and the service at pool was great! Loved this place!

Just some minus points for the manager. When we arrived, he sent us a welcome card, which was a nice personal touch. However, the card was only addressed to my husband, even though we both stayed there. I jokingly told my husband that I had done all the hard work, but he got all the credit! lol.

This hotel is a picturesque beach front resort. The pearl suite villa is amazing. I will admit i was disappointed that trees blocked what would be an amazing ocean view, but everything else about the property made up for that.

Unfortunately my 5 star review is tarnished by restaurant waiters with coughs serving food and a bad spa experience. Our couples massage was interrupted by a sick masseuse coughing in our ear. Id probably let this go if i didn't bring home this sickness with me :(

It is definitely a 5 stars worth the price. Wife had 2 spa treatments and our 7 year old get to spend spare time in seperate kids activity room. The breakfast is best is an understatement. Private beach very well maintained.

Lastly, special thanks Salinda's front desk staff \"Duy\" who went beyond his ways to resolve our phone sim card issues. Duy is super helpful in any questions we've had during the 7 nights stay. Will definitely visit again

Beautiful hotel with excellent level of service. The room was comfortable and full of little attentions, such as a calming tea delivered everyday as part of the turndown service. The pool is large and at the perfect temperature. The beach is clean and has the perfect exposure for the sunset. The only point I could nit pick on would be the price of the food and drinks menu which is about 10x the local prices. I ended up leaving the resort for every meal.
I would definitely stay there again for my next trip to the island.

This is probably one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at. What lacks in modernity in terms of the facility is definitely made up with the highly skilled staff. The staff are amazing and they are extremely attentive, kind, and go out of their way to make sure you have an unbelievable vacation. I would highly recommend this resort for anybody travelling to Phu Quoc. The property could use some minor updates, but overall very pleasant stay.

Wow. A little chunk of paradise. Highly recommend!

We had a 4-night stay and we loved every minute. Impeccable service, spotless and a truly beautiful setting. A slick airport transfer, to a well-staffed concierge and reception to friendly and efficient staff at breakfast, around the pool and in the restaurants. The private section of the beach is really special, sand is white, the water in clear and you get impressive sunsets. We had fun taking a canoe out to sea if that's your thing. Great cocktails. We really rated both the Indian and Italian restaurants in the resort if you fancied a change from Vietnamese food (as good as it is!) at any point. We had amazing massages in the spa, a really professional and relaxing experience from start to finish. And the hotel recommended a great speedboat/snorkelling day trip that we really enjoyed. Would 100% go back!

Well designed hotel. Bed headboard creaks a bit. Lol. Room door is solid and has no soft close feature so it can slam hard and loud during the night if someone allows the door to close on its own. Otherwise, great property and amazing customer service!! Would stay again!

Very Nice property, clean and well maintained. Great infinity pool and sea views. Well situated Central phu Quoc in Duong Dong, which allows you to get to both the North and South of the islands in a reasonable time. Staff was all super friendly and supportive. Multiple restaurants to choose from in the resort and great live band in the bar nightly. Also convenient to walk out to other restaurants near by. Use Grab for transport. Very fast and cheap. We would stay here again.

This is a small elegant hotel 10 minutes away from the airport. There is a beautiful and large infinity pool overlooking the private beach, from where you can watch stunning sunsets. You can also walk around a lovely luscious garden .the location is perfect for tours going to the north or south of the island. Breakfast was amazing, staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic stay at the Salinda resort. The service was top notch (special mentions to Khoi who greeted us daily at the beachside bar who was always so attentive and provided excellent service. Also the lady Kieu who was so warm and welcoming every morning at the breakfast buffet). We truly enjoyed the food, the salt water pool, the facilities and the kids had a fabulous time at the Kid's club. We highly recommend this resort and would love to return again.
