The stay was amazing and everything was really good, the staff even better the animation team Jaylin, Beyoncé and the rest were so good. Just keep in mind that the trips they sale should be around 65 USD anything more is over priced and they are really boring the trips. Stay at the resort everything and everyone is more fun over here!!

En términos generales la experiencia fue excelente. Las comidas exquisitas. Buffet muy variado y restaurants de especialidad con alimentos de primera y personal muy atento. Personal de animación en piscina muy atento y actividades muy entretenidas. Lo único que diría fue negativo fue la operación del aire acondicionado en la habitación, se sentía caliente en ocasiones y el sistema no nos permitía operarlo.

Overall it's a pretty nice place with a decent location. Buffet food is the exact same as the restaurant, so it honestly not worth the hassle of booking them unless you want the hibachi experience.
The place is showing its wear with peeling paint, swollen doors and trim, discoloration of interior finishes. Air-conditioned rooms only, so restaurants are hot to sit in.
The biggest complaint is the concierge don't leave you alone even after you ask them too. Like time share vultures, they stalk you constantly trying to get you to look at the new hotel. It was to the point they stood watching you eat only to approach you as you stood up from the table.
Honestly if we had the time we would have left and went somewhere else.
Biggest plus was Juan the server on the beach, friendly and helpful

If you’re gonna stay at this resort, do not have high expectations at first light it looks beautiful, but the rooms are water damaged and some smell like mildew The best way is to get your room on the family side and not the adult only side. Also make sure that you make your reservations for dinner because they will not feed you and you will be at the buffet every night. We returned away by several restaurants that only had two or three tables sit seated, but still refuse to see us because the front desk lost our reservation. It was a terrible experience for my second all inclusive experience. Staff was not nice. I do understand I was in a foreign country, but very few spoke. English tried to order room service could not order room service because there was no one who could take the call who spoke English just back your facility where you’re going to stay

Property is beautiful. Clean. Friendly staff esp the servers. Great food. I like in particular the Mexican Restaurant, Buffet, Food Truck (Dominican Sandwich). When it comes on drinks, I like how servers in the lobby bar mixed drinks. They were the way I wanted. Coffee also I like in the lobby bar. It was the kind of coffee that I like. I requested to spray our room because flies got in when my son opened the balcony door. Service was prompt. I highly recommended this property.

Food was bad, only time of the day I enjoyed food was dinner time. Buffet food was horrible. Room service isn’t 24 hours, so if you’re hungry in the middle of the night, you have to wait for morning, which is bad because their breakfast is nasty. I wasn’t helped by staff to bring my luggage down to the lobby on the day of my departure, and I when I communicated that to staff they asked me why didn’t I call front desk. I responded that the phone in the room does not work… Alcohol drinks wasn’t that strong either, and I tipped money every drink… I only slightly enjoyed myself because I only stayed 3 nights. If I stayed longer I would rate it 1-2 stars. Nothing on this resort is worth the money. and I also seen roaches a couple of times and took photos for proof.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was disappointing. The food throughout the resort was extremely bland and lacked flavor, making meals something we looked forward to the least. The customer service was even more disappointing. Staff often seemed uninterested in helping, and service was consistently slow no matter where we went.

The beach was just okay, but there was quite a bit of seaweed during our stay. The pools were nice, clean, and well-maintained, which was one of the few highlights of the resort.

The one standout employee was Daniella at Bellum Restaurant. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about providing great service. She was by far the most helpful staff member we encountered during our stay.

Overall, while the pools were enjoyable and Daniella provided excellent service, the bland food and poor customer service made this a disappointing vacation experience.

Recomiendo qué tan pronto lleguen el primer dia al hotel, reserven las comidas en los restaurantes, ya qué si no reservas no podrás comer en ellos, por lo qué es un gran problema ya que en ocasiones estaban vacíos los restaurantes y no aceptaban a nadie sin reservación.

While my family and I had a great time, the resort did leave a lot to be desired. The staff we were greeted with were wonderful and upgraded our rooms for my nieces birthday which was so kind, so I can’t thank Esmailyn enough for that. However, the rest of the resort was just okay overall. Our rooms were fine but there were multiple small issues around the rooms (scuffed walls, dirty grout, ants / mosquitoes). The pools were nice and the drinks tasted good, although the bartenders could have had better customer service. The restaurants were the worst part, thank goodness for the buffet because it was the only place we had a good meal. The japanese places, the steakhouses, the italian restaurants were all pretty bad and left me eating maybe a 1/4 of my meal. However, the buffet? Incredible! Such good food and every single staff member that worked there was incredible. From the waitstaff to the people working behind the counter making our food. Big shout out to the lovely woman at the crepe station, she single-handedly made a wonderful impression on everyone in our party. Overall, this resort was fine and while I probably wouldn’t go here again, we enjoyed our time.

I feel that this resorts need to focus more on making guess feeling like this a home away from home. No guests should have to go park his or her own vehicle and pick it up. You calling the front desk no one answer the phone. You asked for money to be changed no money on the property. You asked for champagne. It do not come or you is told that we ran out. It just poor service all around.

Good value budget resort, Serenade has the basic amenities and it’s up to you to make a great time out of it
Best part of the resort is the beach, can walk 100 ft out and its still chest high water. White sand, kayaking. Depends on time of year, the seaweed piles up, but didnt bother us. There was a volleyball net and soccer nets but a deflated ball, we had to go to nearby mall to buy our own ball, no problem
Pool is good too, had fun slides. Waitresses were slow, best to go directly to the bar.
Lobby bar was the best, had very attentive and friendly waitresses too. The best service at the resort you’ll find here.
Only had 2 entertainment shows at end of day out of our 8-day stay, they were pretty average.
Buffet was really mediocre food (6/10), it was good enough for breakfast. Their a la carte restaurants were much better and definitely recommend The Cut (10/10), but resort doesn't make it very easy to book. Had to go to help desk 3 separate times only to be told the third time had to wait Sunday to book for the following week.
Make sure you tip both the housekeeping staff and the water staff. If you leave one tip, they either dont clean your room, or they dont give you water (both pretty important). That is what happened to us.
Bottom line: If you need activities, go elsewhere. If you want to have a great beach and can make your own activities, go here for the great value.

Mi experiencia en este hotel fue muy decepcionante. Durante mi estancia desaparecieron de mi equipaje tarjetas bancarias, dinero en efectivo y una prenda de vestir. Reporté el incidente inmediatamente al hotel, pero no recibí una copia formal del reporte que solicité.

Además, después de bloquear mis tarjetas me quedé sin acceso a dinero y solicité ayuda con transporte, pero mi petición fue rechazada. Como huésped, esperaba mayor apoyo y preocupación por mi situación.

También debo mencionar que la primera habitación que me asignaron estaba sucia y tenía un fuerte olor a cigarrillo. Afortunadamente, un miembro del personal fue muy amable y me ayudó a cambiarme a otra habitación que sí estaba limpia y en mejores condiciones.

Agradezco la atención de ese empleado, pero en general la gestión de mi problema de seguridad y la falta de asistencia dejaron una impresión muy negativa de mi estancia.

This was our second time visiting here first time we had an excellent experience at the adult side this time around it wasn’t so pleasant…. we came back and stayed at the family side We were disappointed and disgusted with what we had to witness…four incidents in completely four different restaurants where we encountered roaches walking either around the hibachi table, at the Mediterranean resturant and at both ITZEN & central plaza buffets… so disappointed especially since we really like this place the last time we came. The rooms were very clean. Staff was very professional and kind. Especially the ladies working the coffee shop they made my son very happy every time he seen them. Staff in restaurants where very friendly and knowledgeable as well

When we got up the resort, we checked in and were told how to get to our room. We had noticed that other guests had personal tours and people take their luggage. The rooms were nice. However about 3 days in of our 8 day stay, we had termites coming out of a small hole in the wall. I plugged it with wet tissue to keep them inside.

The bar staff would help with your drinks however certain bars would not serve us and told us they were closed. But others were helped.

The resort requires reservations for their restaurants, which is awesome. One night we had made a reservation at 8 pm. We showed up at 7:55 to check in. The hostess said to us to go stand over on the side. Several people checked in after us and were seated right away. After about 8 mins and 5 parties that had gone in, I went up to the counter. The hostess saw me as she was talking to another guests. As soon as she was done I moved forward and she turned her back and ignored me. So we went to a bar pub to eat.

Our last day there we were hanging out on the beach. We decided to stop at the bar pub for lunch. Keep in mind we are there a lot. We sat down and about 8 mins later the waitress came over and said lady you are wet go outside. My cover up was wet. So we had to sit outside. We will never go back to this resort. The staff is not friendly to Americans at all.

The hotel was modern, but it was very poorly maintained. The food at the restaurants was disappointing and lacked quality and presentation. The staff frequently forgot orders, and the wait times for meals were very long.
You could see cockroaches in the hallways of the buildings, which was very concerning. The pools were also very dirty, with visible hair and debris in the water. The food truck by the beach was poorly maintained as well, and the food quality was not good.
The best parts of the resort were the beach and the spa, which were both excellent.

The hotel is 15 mins away from the Airport.
About the cleanliness: As soon we arrived, we noticed that the sofas next to the lobby were dirty. The room was fine and always cleaned on time. Restaurants have many flies flying around the food and glass. Very disgusting. They should do something about it, There is technology to keep flies away from food.
About the team: They were really nice and helpful. The only thing I did not like is that once you arrive they \"invite\" you for breakfast or lunch (that you already paid) to talk to you for hours about their vacation package \"all over the world\". They are very pushy and it depends on you if you want to go subscribe. We did not, but missed 3 hours of our stay listening to them.
About the food and beverage: it was good and tasty.
About the amenities: They have some activities that you can attend depending on your interests. They had a presentation about Michael Jackson's \"This is it\" show. Part of the screen in the background was not working. The dancers did well but were not impressive,
The pool was very refreshing but did not like that they do not have a Life Guard. So you are there at your risk, but a life guard can also help to keep people behaving. Guests were spitting, eating and clearing their nose in the pool. Horrible.
The beach is there, but did not see many enjoying the area as there was too much seaweed. So the sea looked brown and not very inviting.

The beginning of the trip was good. Front desk was very helpful and tried their best to assist and got us the best room update. The spa was amazing. Spa stuff went above and beyond for us to have the best experience. Pools were clean and and amazing. Food was very delicious and a lot.
I'm very upset about room cleaning and overall stuff. And yes we tipped them very well.
Room cleaning services were horrible. The bathroom stayed dirty during our entire trip, bedsheets never got changed (I accidentally got lipstick on it that's how I know it never been changed), we tried to call front desk never picked up the phone. On our 3rd day of stay the cleaning services ladies gathered right in front of our room and were arguing so lound it was only 8am and we slept late, i had to walk out and ask them to let us sleep. Service was poor, majority of them speek 0 English and there were huge communication issues. The shows and activities are very poor. Need to bring more activities at the end of the day you get bored and there's nothing to do beside walking around the hotel.

Staff were professional and very friendly. They made our stay enjoyable and made up for shortcomings in the hotel maintenance ( dirty and wear off furniture etc). Pools and gardens were an exception in maintenance, looking spotless. Be aware of aggressive sales for their expando club. My wife and daughter were very pleased with the Spa and massage service.
In general we had a good time and would recommend this hotel, specially for families with children.

Food was excellent ! Staff was very friendly and Blandino the bartender in the swim up bar was the best ! Our room was very nice and cleaning came everyday during our stay provided us with a lot ! Definitely 10/10 the workers in the front desk were very friendly and polite definitely going back !!! amazing experience overall
