Room was lovely, spotless and had use of a private terrace area. Location was excellent and so convenient for the buses and trains at Termini. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Room had everything I needed. Very hot water, tea kettle, even umbrellas. The staff was very friendly and very prompt in their communications. It is loud but they provide ear plugs. I’m use to city living with heavy vehicular traffic so it doesn’t bother me. Very close to everything and walkable to most destinations, or public transit if you choose.

Conveniently located nice hotel in Rome.

The Roman Terrace was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was well located being only 3 blocks from aroma Termini and only 2 blocks from the Basilica of St. Mary Magiorre. There are many restaurants in the area. We would definitely recommend the Roman Terrace when in Rome.

The hotel was within walking distance of most attractions, and they were able to arrange transportation for us from the airport. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were lovely, and the terrace was wonderful. The shower was a little small, but other than that our stay was great!

Great location from the train station. Clean and good size room. Nice coffee station and terrace to enjoy the coffee. They even have an elevator for luggage to get to your room. Not sure why people complain about noise windows are pretty sound proof. No complaints here.

The hotel is located less than 10 minutes from the Roma Terminal. It's very convenient to walk around to the places of interests. Outside the rooms there's a little kitchenette with coffee, tea, microwave oven and it leads to a nice cosy patio. The room is spacious, clean. Stayed 3 nites, and it's one of the best we had so far after visiting 6 Italian cities.

Property exactly as listed. Room was clean and everything worked. I had to get in much later than the check in time but someone in my group was there earlier. I communicated with the staff through expeidia and they allowed her to check in. They were accommodating and promptly responded. The area around the station is not great but easy access to metro or walking to most of the city. Overall solid.

Had a fantastic stay at Roman Terrace, perfect location for dropping cases off and getting out and about Rome. Some really good restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. When travelling with a 5 month old baby this hotel provided everything we needed including comfortable cot and microwave. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the roof terrace was an added bonus. Bedrooms were a little rough round the edges but the bathroom was modern and the whole place was spotless and smelled lovely.

Stayed here two nights after a Med cruise. Location was great 5 min from Roma Termini. Tram on street was noisy but seemed to stop running through the night so not an issue for sleeping. There were hairs on the bathroom floor so cleanliness was average.

Roman Terrace is extremely convenient to the Termini station and to the spot where we had to meet for a bus tour.; Right next door is a small shop is open early and was perfect for grabbing cappos on the go in the morning before the bus trip

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom needed some updating. Kitchen was equipped enough for your quick needs. It was a bit noisy because there's a tram that goes right infront of the property, and the restaurants make noise when disposing their bottles. The most useful part for us was the beautifully groomed terrace which was a piece of heaven. We were a group of 9 and the terrace was a great place to sit and grab our morning coffee, or grab some wine and unwind at the end of the day.
In one word all in all we enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

Spent 2 nights here on a solo trip. Conveniently located right by the train station. Perfect if you are happy going without room service and 24/7 front desk support. It was nice to not have to pay for these things and I do not need them. Easy Self check in. You get your own bathroom. Floor was very quiet. Beautiful terrace to go and sit on.

The room is big, spacious and clean, the staff (the guy who is there from 8-16h) is friendly and helpful.
The only thing that is negative is surrounding noise (turistic area, traffic...) and it can be difficult to fall asleep if you have windows open.

BAIT AND SWITCH PROPERTY - BEWARE

This property was booked, upon my arrival, I was informed that they “overbooked”, but would re-accommodate me in another property they owned. When I asked the property name they told me it would be the Hotel Espana. When I looked up the new accommodation, it had terrible reviews and was a 20 minute walk from Roman Terrace, they never offered to provide transportation. The front desk woman just said “oh yes it is a bit far to walk with your things.” I booked the Roman Terrace based on its proximity to Termini station. I declined the re-accommodation and asked for a receipt for my refund and was told I needed to contact Expedia. I also looked for new accommodation and found the Roman Terrace was listed for $402 USD (nearly 3x what I paid), when I asked about this, the front desk told me that it was a mistake and anyone who purchased that room, the hotel would be in the same predicament and would have to cancel their reservation.

When I called Expedia for a refund I was told they would have to contact the hotel, even though the hotel sent me an email right before my arrival via Expedia’s interface saying they overbooked and would find me alternate (equivalent) accommodation. I was given the run around and the hotel said I attempted to “change or cancel” my reservation in person.

The Roman terrace regularly sells a room only to bait and switch tired travelers at the last minute hoping out of desperation you will fall for it - BEWARE.

Spotless room and close to the train station

This hotel was spotlessly clean with a good sized bedroom and bathroom. We had a superior room that had it's own access onto a roof terrace which was a lovely place to sit and relax after a hard day's sight seeing. The roof terrace can also be used by other hotel occupants via the main door onto the roof terrace. The hotel is close to the train station for those arriving by train and has good access to the metro/bus/tram network. The hotel is about 30 mins walk away from the Coleseum. The staff are very eager to make sure your stay is a happy one, they sent several emails before we arrived to ensure we knew where to go and to confirm room preference. I definitely would go back to this hotel.

Room was clean but the shower head for room 3 was very filthy with some sort of fungus growing. Only pro is that it is a 5 min walk to the train station and can easily access hop-on hop-off buses there.

fantastic hotel in Central Rome

The hotel was in the best location only a couple of hundred metres from the train station. The room was modern and clean and the shower was SSO spacious, something you just don't see much of in Italy. Shops and restaurants in our street, so barely a walk. Transport to everything was nearby. We got a hop on hop off bus which we could catch around the corner. Fantastic place.

convenient, but not practical or safe!

Only stayed 1 of original 4 nights. Upon arriving, found the large wooden doors but no instructions on how to enter. Soon, someone walked up and opened the door so we followed him in. He went to the elevator and went up to the second floor. We did not have a favorable first impression as the first floor was really nothing more than an alley. When we walked into the Roman Terrace, we looked around while we waited for the couple in front of us to finish. It appears the Roman Terrace was only 5 rooms? While registering, the gentleman warned us about pick-pockets, thieves, and Gypsies in the area and hence the state-of-the-art security system. He demonstrated how the key worked on the lobby door, and told us how to work the large wooden doors and that they automatically closed behind you. He also mentioned that the desk was not monitored overnight, so we were on our own. He then showed us to our room. In the room I discovered that the door does not automatically lock behind you. There also was no telephone in the room. The wooden doors did NOT give us any sense of security or safety. When we went out for dinner, I observed that the doors do NOT close completely, unless you pull on them. My wife did not feel safe, especially after the warning we had been given. We opted to leave the next day. I was told I would lose all my money as it was non-refundable. A small price to pay for my wife's sense of safety & security. We would never stay again, nor would I recommend it.

The hotel was wonderful, especially our terrace off our room. It was picturesque! It was clean with wonderful service and amenities. We loved our stay. The hotel staff was more than wonderful, as was the location.

However, the loud train that ran by the hotel every 30 minutes, from 5:30am to 12:30pm was just terrible and you needed to leave your window open for fresh air. Thank goodness for ear plugs. Too bad for the hotel.

Would stay here again despite the downfalls...

Overall the stay was up to par with the price paid. The location was great since it was very close to Termini and walkable to the Coliseum The service was excellent, however, the downfall is that there is no 24 hour front desk. They have limited hours starting at 8am.

The biggest downfall was the room cleanliness. It was not \"dirty\" but since there was not a headboard you could see where oil from peoples' hair was on the wall. There was also one comforter that was a little off color. Another issue with our particular room was inconsistent water temperature. It would go from cold to warm to scalding and back again.

Even with the downfalls, I would stay here again since the price was so great for all of the conveniences.

We loved staying at the Roman Terrace Hotel close to major attractions and the main train station. The hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated and situated in a very nice area of Rome, although I don't think there is a bad area. The hotel offers free use of a coffee maker for its customers as well as a beautiful large outdoor terrace to lounge or just to enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee. The staff was great and Daniel could not have been any nicer. I would definately stay at the Roman Terrace again and would highly recommend .

Too close to train station

Other than being able to hear the trains it was a good place to stay. However, it was hard to find. They sent an email telling us the door would say WRH Roman Suites. It turned out to be a smaller sign on the side of the door. We also had issues with our keys and had a hard time getting in our door. Once you find the address numbers on the building it got easier to find. We got worried since the desk is not staffed 24 hours. On the plus side there was actually a computer in the room and there was an elevator which really helped. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Great hotel! We stayed for 4 nights and we didn't want to leave. I would go bak to Roman Terrace the next time I'm in Rome.
The beds were very comfotable and in the morning, we loved sitting on the Terrace drinking our espresso.

B&B near Termini

Close to Termini (3 min), easy to find, there are shops and restaurants nearby. Ordinary building with lift. Furniture is not new. Immigrant area. There is tram line right under windows on the street D. Manini and it is very noisy from early morning because there is no soundproof. Room was spacious enough with bathroom inside, good LCD TV (no Russian channels), refrige, fen. Microwave in general kitchen area, cofe-machine (you will get lavazza capsules for using it). Terrace in open air. Free WiFi, air-condition. Nothing special but not bad (worst of all was noise in the corridor and on the street).

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. The area was noisy. Air conditioning did not work. There was no free breakfast which is usually offered by European hotels. The only good thing was that it was close to the Roma Termini.

Amazing Hotel :)

This was my first visit to Rome , I arrived on the same day of my birthday :) The location is perfect , less than 5 min walk from the main train station , The staff are very helpful and it has 5 rooms so u actually get a feeling that u r at home .. I enjoyed having my morning esspresso @ The terrace :) Whenever I visit Rome again this will definitely be my first choice :)

This was a great place to stay. The staff was warm and welcoming. The room was like brand new. The terrace was amazing. Only issues were that the water pressure was low and little parking, but welcome to Rome. The public transportation terminal is right down the street and for a few bucks a day you can get to any place in Rome. I Very highly recommend this place.

Excelente localização pela proximidade a estação Termini, pois estava com malas grandes, facilidade de transporte, região com boa infraestrutura de restaurante e comércio em geral. Experiência muito boa em ficar hospedado em um prédio estilo tradicional em Roma, com portas e janelas grandes. Um espaço tipo rooftop com mesinhas e espreguiçadeiras para os hóspedes tb é um grande diferencial, onde após muita caminhada pode descansar ao ar livre e degustar algo comprado ao redor.

Beliggenhed tæt ved Metro og banegård. Hotellet ren og pænt, standard seng og badefacilliteter. Meget larm fra gade og især sporvogn, som kører fra kl. 5 morgen - ørepropper udleveres og er nødvendigt.

部屋もバス・トイレも綺麗だった。受付の男性の対応がよかった。ホテルはテルミニ駅から歩いて数分のため、大きい荷物を持って、スリが多い(らしい)地下鉄やバスに乗らなくて済むので安心である。テルミニ駅始発のバスに座って乗れたのも良かった。ホテル周辺には徒歩圏内に飲食店やスーパーが複数あり便利であった。
ホテルの建物のすぐ横をトラムが走るので音がするが、窓を閉めればさほど気にはならない。ホテルが耳栓を用意してくれたので、音が気になる人はそれを使える。
