The staff are friendly and accommodating, gives informative communication to guests like directions, wifi, amenities, etc. They tidy our room, change sheets and provide fresh towels daily. We had a good experience in this hotel.

Room & food was very good. Pool was nice and it was very close to the centre of Sorrento and the train station. However very disappointed to be charged 40 euros for the use of 2 towels on our last day. The hotel also wanted to charge us a further 40 euros to have clean towels to use in the pool side shower cubicle which we challenged. The pool does get very busy and overcrowded as the hotel allows locals to use the facilities so you have no priority as a guest.

Hotel front staff gave away our reserved car and driver. They lied and said they were backed up in traffic we saw the actual driver leave with other people then come back later. Also our driver company confirmed this.

Hotel Leon was a very clean quiet property to stay at with approximately a 10 to 12 minute walk into the city of Sorrento. Close proximity was a huge plus. Rooms are very small as our bathrooms and a bit outdated but very clean staff very friendly, helpful, and nice. Breakfast included is a huge plus. Outdoor patio and pool very nice.

The hotel was really fantastic! The location was perfect to walk down to the shops and restaurants it the popular tourist spots. There were lots of places really close to the hotel as well and were a quick walk. The pool was outstanding. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had with fresh pastries, various cheeses and fruits. The staff was really friendly as well.

We loved our 5 night stay at Hotel Leone! It was a really short walk to the center and conveniently in a safe area and has a parking lot for your car. The room was super clean and breakfast was nice. Would definitely stay here again. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool as it was May and too cold but we’d love to go back!

This hotel is a little gem. So close to all the main streets in Sorrento but tucked away so you are not in the hustle & bustle. All the staff are so friendly & can’t do enough for you, they are a credit to the hotel. The rooms, restaurant & pool are very clean so that also gets top marks. The breakfast selection is fantastic, an amazing variety of food & drink with something a bit different everyday. I would definitely recommend & stay here again.

The rooms were very clean , the only negative the shower very small if you were a larger person it would be very difficult to take shower. Also we weren’t told that locals are a abke to access swimming pool for a fee so it was used by locals as well as guests and a lot of children so ugly you want quiet don’t come here peak season

Great find in Sorrento! Perfect location for walking into town and access to public transport. Pool area was lovely and really welcome for a relaxing day. Shame we weren’t allowed access on checkout day though, which would have been nice, at least for the morning. Rooms really nice, modern and comfortable. Just maybe a little more storage? Breakfast acceptable, but maybe more hot food options? Overall would highly recommend.

Hotel leone is a smaller hotel. Had been recently remodeled. We stayed in a room for three on the top floor. Only problem with the room was a sluggish airconditioner. Had free breakfast with our room rate. Breakfast was very good.Have a very nice outdoor patio with trees and flowers where you can seat and have your meal or just visit. This hotel also has a very nice pool area and we did use it as it was in the low 90s. Staff was very helpful. It was within walking distance of the main squares and shopping etc. It is a walk uphill on way back. Quiet area. Laundry nearby. Small grocery store nearby. Has Wi-Fi.

I rented two rooms for July 7, 2017, and arrived admittedly early at 10:30 a.m., wanting to just take the luggage out of the car before driving elsewhere to park. I explained this, and the check-in person said this would be ok. I noticed a sign with the wifi password and asked if I could use this, and he grabbed the sign and turned it around, to keep me from seeing how to access wifi until I checked in. This seemed unhelpful.
There is a long east-west green space between the hotel and the main street, Corso Italia, which is inaccessible, with no paths across it, so one has to walk about six blocks east or west to get around this.
Visitors should know about a large, inexpensive public parking lot just SE off the main square. Parking is also inexpensive at the bottom of the road to Marina Grande - a beautiful place west of the square, and one can park for just 20 euro at the bottom of Marina Picolo, near the center, so it is easy to drive to these places.
I wish I had paid up for the hotels along the water, which is what Sorrento is really about. Other than them, it is a town with lots of noise and fumes from scooters and cars, though a few nice very crowded, narrow, car-less shopping streets.

Hotel Leone is located close to the heart of town. The included breakfasts have a good variety which also had the famous lemon cake of Sorrento. The rooms are a decent size with a small balcony. Parking is on site in the back of the hotel. The staff is pleasant.

Really good budget hotel in a quiet side street. Two mins walk to the town. Excellent free breakfast and staff were really friendly and helpful with booking trips and recommending best way to get to tourist sites. Small grocers, hardware store and supermarket nearby. The hotel provides a great location with the basic in terms of comfort and breakfast - continental with fruit, no eggs or hot offering. It is an easy walk to the old city and to the beach and also easible from the train and bus station if you are exploring the surrounding seaside towns.

If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a very well priced, clean place to stay this is the place for you. You can walk everywhere from there. The hotel staff are wonderful, & extremely helpful. You are not going to stay in your room in Sorrento anyway. You will be too busy enjoying all the wonderful things in town, & in the surrounding areas you will be visiting. You can walk to the train & bus station from the hotel & visit Pompei, Positano, the Amalfi coast, & many more places. The free breakfast from 7 to 10, is also a big plus!

We spent a week on the Amalfi Coast and wanted to stay in a central location. Sorrento turned out to be the perfect spot. It is very easy to get to Pompeii and Vesuvius, Naples is about an hour away, and the Amalfi Coast towns also very close. There are many tours that you can take that originate in Sorrento, tkaing you all over the area. Sorrento itself is beautiful, with wonderful coastlines and beaches, terrific restaurants and shopping, and very easy to wander around,

The shower is a little small, but adequate, with good water pressure. The breakfast room is large and bright, and offers a nice variety of foods- baked goods, cereal, yogurt, fruit, coldcuts,etc- plenty ot chose from. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
There is an enclosed parking lot behing the hotel, with free parking, and free wi-fi in the rooms.
All in all, a very nice place to stay- would definitely stay there again!

We stayed with our adult daughter in a triple room for 2 nights, visiting Sorrento as part of a 10 day holiday. The town is lively and interesting to look around, with cafes and restaurants, plenty of nice shops and beautiful views of the sea. It was very crowded at Easter when we were there.
The hotel is quite difficult to find when driving in, and it took us a while to negotiate one way systems and narrow side streets. There's a car park at the back which is fairly secure. The hotel itself is clean and nicely presented, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful, but the view from our room was less than inspiring. The hotel is quite difficult to find when driving in, and it took us a while to negotiate one way systems and narrow side streets. There's a car park at the back which is fairly secure. The hotel itself is clean and nicely presented, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful, but the view from our room was less than inspiring. This hotel was perfect for us. It was a few blocks away from the center of town but it was not inconvenient. We loved the walk to and from town center. It was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was a good continental fair. Yes, we would stay there again.

AC worked well, nice tiled floor and bright cheerful bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best we had: a large variety of fresh fruit, eggs, variety of pastries, lunch meats, plus other items that I couldn't find room for. A nice Cafe Americano (plus other coffee varieties) out a machine in the buffet area. No in-room safe, but we left valuables with the front desk...hope they were secured properly...we didn't have any problems though!

L'hôtel est vraiment idéalement situé à 5 minutes à pied des rues piétonnes du centre et 15 minutes à pied du port. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. La chambre n'est pas très grande mais agréable avec un balcon. Le buffet le matin est correct. Nous sommes restés 4 nuits et recommandons cet établissement. Le parking coûte 20 euros par jour mais est très utile.
