Perfect stay!

Lovely to have a hotel with a hotel. One of the many hotels in Rome that share a building with other hotels but easy to find and clearly signposted. Bed was so comfy, air con worked and although on main road room was very quiet.
Left luggage at the hotel both before check in and after check out with no problems.
Snacks and drinks available free of charge.
Very easy walk from the main train station which also has bus terminal, so convenient to get round the sights.
Lots of lovely places to eat very close to hotel.

Safe and convenient place to stay near Termini and right at the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. Would stay here again. Giovanna and her team were so professional and kind, anticipating every need and even being proactive when issues came up (like noisy guests at night).

All amenities worked well, though internet can be spotty at times, so if you need to work, you may want to carry a hotspot. There’s a small elevator to the floor and it was usually free, though I always walked.

Enjoyable stay

Travelled through Italy, went to Venice, Bari, Florence and Rome was our last stop, and we had best stay, the location is fantastic, close to train station and we were able to walk to most tourist destinations. The room was good enough for us, it had TV and a mini bar fridge which we appreciated. The renovated bathroom was bright and clean, the shower stall was on smaller side and similar to shower on cruise ships, since we cruise a lot so it's not a deal breaker for us. New windows kept room quiet enough for us. Air conditioner is central but we had no complaints with 38 max degrees outside. Appreciate the small touches like map/snack. Will definitely stop again here if we are in Rome again.

Giovanna was wonderful and the room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning wasn’t strong but there was a fan in our room that made up for it. The bar fridge did not keep anything cold so our water was always room temperature. And the property was generally run down and outdated. However it is within walking distance of all the sights, a market and the train station so very conveniently located. I would stay here again!

Pretty basic amenities--not really a \"hotel\" per se: more of a single room for rent, but was adequate to my needs as I just need a one night stay. Giovanna was really nice, and I appreciated being able to check in a bit early after such a long flight. It was nice being so close to Rome Termini station.

The most I liked was the location. The hotel is on a common place for several hotels in the same building. The room was cleaned and enough for only get rest after enjoying visiting many places over the city.
The staff (Giovanna) was very kind and very supportive person.
The hotel has a good wifi speed and the room is good enough for a family of 3-4 members.

Advertised as a double and twin bed but put together. And seemed like 2 twins crammed into the room. For the price the room was fine. A bit run down but that’s expected.
Check in you have to tell them the time, which is fine if you have a flexible itinerary
Then luggage storage since this is a small place you have to give a time to pick up. I wish you could just come back and get it when you want like a bigger hotel

Check was quick and easy, they let us check in few hours early since our room was ready. The guys who checked us in was very nice, he gave us very helpful information about the places and how to get around Rome.

Location is very close to Roma Termini train/bus station. It is very close to the Colosseum. Rome is not that huge, most tourist spots can be reached by walking if you want.

The property is centrally located. It is close to to all public transportation, restaurants and historical sites.
The WiFi is very unstable and the the shower is too small, could hardly fit inside and I am not a big guy.

Hotel is next to the main train station. It is nested inside a building with other offices and hotels. The elevator can only handle 1 person and luggage or 2 people without luggage. Room is very clean and nice towels. The AC is central so you have no control, but if you like it colder, just open the windows. This is an absolute no frills hotel, the room is small and the shower are for short and thin people.

Yogesh at the frontdesk was sofar the best hotel staff I have encountered over the past 10 yrs of my international tourist travel using expedia. Usually, frontdesk hotel staff will give a city map if requested, and will not volunteer for more information unless one requests. Even then, they are brief in discourse or refer rentors to a nearby tourist info center. Yogesh however, volunteered first to give me the map and spent 30 min with me in informing me about the geography of rome city, the important tourist places, the public transports to reach these tourist spots and the multiethnic couisines around the hotel! Eventhough this was my 4th visit to Rome, his gudiance was greatly enlightening, and I will nolonger need a tourist map or a tourist info center staff for my next rome visit.

Great location and staff, noisy street

The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, and it was a good price for what we got. The location is a 15 minute walk from the Coliseum and close to the main train station. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Because the hotel faces a busy street, it can be a bit noisy, although I suspect most of Rome is. Also, the shower was tiny and the Wi-Fi was slow in the room. Hotel felt secure and the rooms were clean. Overall good quality for the price.

Inexpensive room fit the bill

We were looking for an adequate room with a private bathroom close to Roma Termini without having to spend a lot, and this is exactly what we got at Hotel Everest. We arrived before check-in so they let us store our luggage there and moved it directly to our room when it was ready. The hotel attendant gave us a map of central Rome and provided us with lots of good information to embark on our sightseeing. The room was pretty tight but we were only there to sleep so it was fine. Didn't hear a lot of noise out in the hall when we were trying to sleep but maybe that was because we were so exhausted from all the walking we did! Note that the hotel desk keeps your room key each time you leave the hotel which can put some people off, but this is pretty common in smaller European hotels. They have several different routers you can connect to so wi-fi was really good. Had to give the desk 6 Euros in cash for the city tax when we checked out which was a little goofy. Why don't they just charge that up front? All in all a good stay and I would recommend this place.

The hotel is in a great location near termini, on the Via Cavour. The room was small but well laid out with everything you need. The bed was comfy after a day traveling. For breakfast there are several coffe shops less than a minute walk. Excellent staff and very very reasonable rates for Rome. Will definitely staff here again, all you need in Rome is a good bed.

Nice, affordable facility in the heart of Rome

Almost all of the famous attractions in Rome are with in walking distance of the hotel. Besides, It's only 5-7 minutes of easy walk to the Rome termini (Central) train station. There are good restaurants nearby and there is a grocery shop right opposite to the property. Staff is amongst the friendliest you will meet anywhere

Room was tiny but it was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and it was cleaned on a daily basis too

Great location and value for exploring Rome.

The hotel is in a handy position with Termini station only a few minutes walk away. If you fly into FCO then the Leonardo Express train is a breeze. The hotel is on the 3rd floor but a 3-person lift works swiftly. We were greeted with an easy check-in and a handy map with main areas of info circled. The staff are more than happy to help and have really good local advice.
The rooms are basic but much better than many others with your own privacy, bathroom, shower and even a mini fridge. A large and decent Simply supermarket is only a couple of mins walk away near the church for your supplies.
Overall a very good choice for the money.

The hotel was in an excellent location, close to transport and easy walking distance to main attractions.

The hotel staff were excellent providing information at check in and available for anything else you needed. Very friendly - couldn't fault them at all.

Tea and coffee were available 24 hours at a cost of around 1-2 euros which was great.

The hotel is very dated but exactly as shown on the pictures and so this was expected and wasn't an issue. the room was very clean and beds were made daily.

The only issue was with noise, there were people coming in and out at all hours and i am a light sleeper so didn't sleep much at all. Noise from the corridor and adjoining rooms was really bad. Would recommend ear plugs and all would be fine. The rooms are a little small, but exactly what's pictured online.

Overall a very pleasant but exhausting stay.

The room was very close to the Termini Station. Its in a building with various hotels in it. There is a lift up top the hotel. its very small but it was clean. The first room i was given did not have any water pressure or heat in the shower. when i asked about it i was told i'd have to go another day without a shower, and when i asked for a bucket of hot water i was told even that couldnt be provided. On the last day i was changed to a room with a small bed but a shower. There is wifi but with a weak signal.

I contacted them the day before to let them know I would be arriving in the morning, and they arranged to have my room cleaned as soon as possible so that I could check at 11 am instead of the regular 1 pm time. I also needed to print some documents, and when I asked at the reception where near the Hotel I could go to do that, they offered to print them for me for free. I would definitely recommend this hotel

So many small hotels to choose from - close to Termini and all the transport systems in Rome - could walk most places - yes it is up some stairs or the small lift - but I travelled lite and so not a problem. Bed was a bit uncomfortable, but ok for a short stay - reception staff were helpful and friendly

Very good value for money. Great location, could walk to all major attractions and right beside termini station for public transport. Staff at reception very helpful. Only complaints were the shower not being powerful enough and had to be ran a few minutes to get hot water. Also the fridge in the room wasn't cold enough and the knob was broken so couldn't be changed. But it was worth it for the price we paid and we'd happily stay here again.

Convenient to train station, clean, a/c was weak

I was staying for one night in central Rome and leaving by train the next morning, so I wanted an economical hotel close to Rome Termini, with good wifi and air conditioning (as it was in the high thirties Celsius / 100 Fahrenheit outside). Hotel Everest met all these requirements - it's only a few minutes easy walk from the station - except that the air conditioning was not very good. It did seem to be working, I could hear the air moving, but my room stayed quite warm. As I was only there for one night and left early the next day, I didn't have a chance to see if the staff could fix the issue; it's possible it was an isolated problem. The room was small but clean, the wifi worked well, and the front desk staff were friendly and polite. The only other note is that (at least in the room I had) the bathroom has no separate area for the shower, just a shower curtain, so it's easy to get water everywhere (around the toilet, sink, etc) when showering. Finally, the hotel is on the third floor, but there is an elevator - however, it is slow and can only take two people with luggage at a time, so if you have a large party or lots of luggage, be aware it may take you a while to get upstairs (especially as the elevator also serves several other hotels).

Een erg goed hotel in hartje Rome. De prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is zeer goed. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en is zeer behulpzaam. Het hotel is een beetje verouderd maar is heel erg schoon en alles werkt naar behoren. Het enige minpunt is dat je alles kan horen wat op de gang gebeurd. Gelukkig is het een erg rustig, klein hotel dus zal je hier niet veel last van ervaren.
