My stay at Amici Guesthouse in Rome was very disappointing. The property was hard to find as it was not properly signposted and is located on the fourth floor of a building. The room did not look like the pictures – it was dirty and poorly maintained. The bathroom was in terrible condition: the shower was broken, the hydromassage function didn’t work, the showerhead was damaged, and there was a strong smell of urine coming from the toilet brush holder.
Breakfast was included in our reservation, but we were never informed of any schedule. The next morning, no breakfast was available and the designated area was completely unattended, forcing us to eat outside at our own expense. On top of this, our room was only cleaned once during the entire stay.
Overall, this experience felt like a scam. I cannot recommend this accommodation.

Pros: the location was great, the staff were really nice, the hot tub was a great way to end a long day, and they held our luggage for us after checkout which was really nice.
Cons: there was no free breakfast even though it stated on the booking (which was a huge reason we booked this hotel), the shower leaked and wouldn’t drain properly plus was situated at a bad angle, and the hot tub started leaking.
It was not a bad stay for a few nights but I would not want to stay here long term due to showers being hard to take.

Conveniently located by the central train station. There's a lift so that's a plus. The gentleman at the front desk allowed us to store the luggage in our room since we arrived early, the room wasn't clean yet and it was before checkin time anyway. The bathroom shower stall was a bit small and the glass shelf was dilodged which could have easily fell off and unto our feet.

The property is located on the 4th floor of an old building. There was no one at front desk and we rang the bell multiple times not knowing how to enter. The phone number was not working. After 5 mins or so, the manager opened the door and rudely asked us why we rang the bell multiple times. He was rude throughout and did not budge to show us how the keys operate. We figured that the phone number works on WhatsApp only. The room was small and suffocating. The area had no restaurants. It was the run down part of the city. Not recommended for families.

The room was ok but what was not ok was the lock on the entrance door on the 4th floor was broken. The man at the reception desk tried blaming us for the lock not opening but he told me the lock didn't work when i checked in. We where stuck in the hotel at one point while he figured out how to open it, and on another day we could not get in until he showed up to open the door with his key. Our key apparently didn't work (which we had two of and neither worked) but still tried to blame us for not knowing how to unlock a door. We lived in Italy for three years and know how to work the locks. The room smelled of sewage from the restroom and the shower was filthy and the ceiling had a weird growth on it. The shower head sprayed water every where and the toilet flush mechanism was broken. I definately will not stay here ever.

Best part of this stay was the area close to everything. Key hole has direct view into the bed & form the bed to the hallway. Room was located next to the front desk so you hear everything. Front desk gentleman was very nice & cordial. For the price I paid seems too expensive for what you get I would probably not stay here again.

You get what you pay for. We selected this property because of its proximity to the train station and it's just a bit too close to the station. It sounded a whole lot better in the write-up. The area immediately surrounding us was \"Little India\" and not at all Italian. It was filthy and we were advised by the person at the hotel to not keep our wallets in our back pocket.

Was a struggle to get in the hotel to start with, couldn’t get hold of anyone to let us in. Was meant to get an email 24hr prior to check but was not received. The walls were very thin- felt we had limited privacy as we could hear neighbours or those in the corridors. We also got locked in the hotel which obviously isn’t safe, staff wasn’t available when they was thy didn’t seem to bothered. The shower handle was also held in with brown parcel tape when first arrived. I did ask for it to be fixed and they did attempt to repair it on day two but was still not acceptable and brown tape marks left over glass.

Just a couple minute walk from the termini station. About a 20 minute walk to the colosseum and 30min from the centre of the city (trevi fountain). Preferable to check-in during the day if unfamiliar with the area, check-in is on the 4th floor of the building. The shower was slightly broken but still worked fine and everything else in the room looked good and clean. Helpful staff that is accomodating with check-in.

Our stay at Amici was better than expected! It was close to the monuments and the train station as we wanted. The room was bigger than we thought it would be. The desk attendant even let us keep our bags behind the counter when we checked out so we could tour the city a little more before leaving. Thank you for a great stay!

The room wasn’t exactly as pictured but it fit our needs for four people. The shower leaked out into the bedroom and when I asked for extra towels I was told we were already given 4 and was handed a dirty towel to use on the floor. Don’t stay here if you plan on staying up past 10 pm. Every time we were talking in our room (not even loudly) we had the employee knocking on the door (about four different times in one night). Overall it was fine but definitely not anything great.

What you see is what you get with this hotel. The staff are very attentive, friendly and serviceable. The rooms are well maintained. Great WiFi and great cappuccinos at breakfast. Hotel is near a hop on/ hop off tour bus stop which takes you to all the major attractions in Rome.

Staff were somewhat helpful , There was a constant drainage smell in the restroom - needs to be fixed, made the stat a very bad experience. Shower is very inefficient , super tiny and inconvenient. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone .

What a complete joke this so called Hotel is.. After arriving from Naples, my wife and 2 kids got this place around 1215 noon. Door was closed. Rang the intercom but no answer from anyone. About 15 mins later someone shows up and opens the door. Tells us to go to the 4th floor to see the check in agent. Went to the 4th floor, walked through this dungeon of a hallway and saw this guy (non Italian) who looked like he’d just come out of the hood. Said to him we have a reservation to stay a night and gave him my name. He looked through his book and says I’m sorry sir but we’re oversold and we can not accommodate you today. We notified your agency 10hrs AFI and they should have emailed you. I showed the printed agreement that said “your reservation is fully paid for, confirmed and guaranteed”. He goes ya but this happens all the time because we oversell on the weekends. I didn’t know wether to lough or strangle this guy. Sketchy people walking in and out of the rooms within the small hallway and stuff was allover the place. After debating back and forth for a few minutes, decided we weren’t going to waist anymore time in that dump. The guy blamed Expedia.com for overbooking his hotel and apparently it happens all the time. Walked around Roma Termini with 2 kids and luggage for 2hrs trying to find a hotel that I could afford and that had rooms available.. in the end I think this was for the better.. glad we didn’t stay there. I couldn’t trust anyone there..

Very convenient to the train station and lots of restaurants. There are a lot of keys to get into this place, but once inside, it’s comfortable, clean, updated and well maintained. Front desk staff is very friendly and attentive. Not much available for breakfast, but it’s free. Assorted breads, cheese, and jams. I would stay here again.

We stayed four days at the Amici guest house. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Mr. Mridha took very good care of us. He made our breakfast, answered all our questions and very helpful. It is located close to the Termini and the tour bus pickup. I recommend this hotel.

This is not a hotel. It's not even and B&B. It's more like a hostel. The desk agents are so rude and racist. As a world traveler I would say this hotel was the worse experience in my life. I only booked this place as a stop to catch a train in the morning. After you check in you are given four keys. You have to go through four doors and each other has a specific way to unlock it. In case of a fire you would not be able to exit unless you jump off the window. The elevator is super tiny so tiny that their desk clerk said to us, let's hope we make it because you guys look like you weigh 200 kilos each. I took his comment to be rude and way out of line. I would recommend that if you weigh over 125 lbs you do not stay here or you would be charged for braking the elevator.

The hotel (for me is a Boutique Hotel) is just in a perfect location, closed by (walking distance) to Rome city attractions (10/20 mins from Colosseum and Trevi Fountain!), restaurants, train Station (5 mins),ect. Mamun & Sohel (hotel Staff) are friendly and welcoming. They are very kind, respectful, helpful (not only in Any need during your stay, but also city tips, ect) and available 24/7 !! The breakfast is really good and they make it specially for you! The hotel is neat clean (including towels and bedding sheets), well decorated and cozy place, so you will feel like your Home! I recommend this place without hesitation and undoubtedly I will stay again there!

Excellent location and cleanliness of the rooms were excellent. Could have more shower gels as two packets were not enough for one person never mind two people. You expect these toiletries as you don’t bring them with you. Breakfast was basic but coffee was good! Low end of scale as far as cost goes. Not a great breakfast, no dairy other then milk and no fresh fruit. Water took a while to drain from shower and light switch didn't work on one side of bed. Kind of noisy because window was facing the street.

Really friendly staff. They made it a point to be present and available. I arrived earlier than the check in time and they gave me no hassle at all about it. The breakfast was nice, especially being something I was’t aware was included. All in all a very nice time. I would easily stay here again.

Soyons clairs. Ce n'est PAS un hôtel. C'est un appartement divisé en trois chambres et vous louez une de ces chambres. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour juste dormir, c'est un bon choix. Oubliez le luxe ou le confort des hôtels nor américains. On était 4 dans une petite chambre, c'était propre malgré que la salle de bain sent l'urine en permanence. La pommeau de douche n'est pas en bon état et l'eau sort de partout. Le réceptionniste est sympathique, même si il rentre pendant notre absence pour s'assurer que le climatiseur est éteint. Il n'y a pas quelques choses pour accrocher sur la porte pour dire \" ne pas déranger\" comme dans les hôtels. Je viens de dire ce n'est pas un hôtel. Bref, si vous comptez passer toute la journée à Rome et rentrer la nuit prendre une douche et dormir, allez y.

Não tem nenhuma indicação na porta, apenas uma plaquinha pequenina junto ao interfone e as indicações dos outros estabelecimentos comerciais - como se fosse a placa de um dentista, sabe?
Se você não procurar o número, não acha o local.
E depois de um certo horário, não tem ninguém por ali para atender você.
Quarto velho, cabeceira da cama rasgada, lençóis e toalhas de péssima qualidade, espelho manchado, chuveiro minúsculo e vazando água. Internet ruim. E o pior: muito sujo. Mas muito sujo mesmo!
