The location is great, two-steps from the Termini station. The single room was quite small, but ok for just spending the night. Though it was next to the kitchen and was quite noisy at night. Good for short trips, 1-2 days. The breakfast is ordinary.
Didn't see any homeless or drug doers at the entrance.
The elevator didn't work at some point, but then it was quickly fixed.

Friendly staff, room cleaned every day. Bedroom and bathroom were clean, bed and pillows were comfortable.

Wifi was spotty for me (kept cutting out every two or three minutes on two devices even though signal seemed fine).

Area didnt seem that bad to me despite what other reviews have said.

Most of the big tourist sites were within 45 minute walk.

Recommended for cheap, no fuss stay.

The bed was absolutely terrible. Worst bed I have ever slept on, neither my partner or I got any sleep because all we could feel all the springs in the mattress. Woke up every morning with an aching hip, sore shoulder because of the mattress ans well as a sore neck because the pillows were so flat. There was also no air conditioning, the room was super hot at night. There was only a heater with no cool setting.

At first it might seem like this hotel is in a jenky area, but it ended up being my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They cleaned and refreshed linens every day. The rooms may seem old, but they’re immaculate. Located only a block or two from the Termini station, it was perfectly situated for visiting everything. Though I advise good shoes and walking because there’s always something breathtaking on the way to somewhere in this centrally located place.

This hotel is on 6th & 7th Floor by the US standard, elevator was not working when we got there, we had to carry our luggage all the way to 7th floor, tiny room etc. We paid city tax at the check in, every time receptionist changed, they were asking for city tax again. We stayed here twice(as we pre booked same hotel), first 4 days Wifi did not work. Loud noise outside all night, we could not sleep. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Yes, it’s a budget hotel but it’s in a sad state, the area outside is borderline 3rd world, and just sad. The only redeeming quality is that’s it’s close to Termini and you can grab a train quick. The front desk man, in the early morning, was polite and friendly.

This is the second time we stayed at Concorde. Highly recommended. Very central location to anything. All in walking distance if you are fit. You can take public transit to anywhere at Termini. Staffs are very polite and friendly. We always met the same staffs. Seemed like family.

Stayed here 3 days with my family. The hotel is a basic stay, no frills. The room had all we needed; comfortable beds, clean sheets, towels, and the washroom was clean with hot water every time. We had a room looking over a busy street below which you could not hear at night. The room was bright and airy and had air conditioning for those really hot Roman days. The daily breakfast had all you needed; bread, coffee, spreads, fruit, yogurt, cereal and fresh crispy pastries. Steps to the train & metro station. A couple clocks from Santa Maria Maggiore where Pope Francis is buried, surrounded by restaurants & pastry shops! One word of caution, it is in a more unfavourable area, be weary but I never felt unsafe.

Simple but very clean. Accommodated our requests. Very easy to reach from Termini (5 minute walk) and plenty of lovely restaurants within a couple of minutes walk, and many sights within 20 minute walk. Included breakfast was a bonus and only issue was the air conditioning was quite noisy, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

I liked this as it was close to the train, about 3 minutes from the train station. However the bath area was really small. I’m not overly big but I can’t wash myself properly or turn without my body touching the demarcations or the wall of the bath, it Made me feel unfresh sometimes after a shower. Breakfast was nice. Had a variety to suit different tastes. There was daily housekeeping as well.

The elevator is a bit rickety to get to the hotel and our first night we didn’t have adequate towels even after asking the front desk. Housekeeping was amazing though and got us set up the day after checking in. Busy part of Rome so most things were within walking distance.

This is a low cost , well located ,fairly comfortable hotel option near Termini. Despite confusion about my booking Expedia/Hotel.com the receptionist was helpful and showed me my room with a view to clarifying later.I stayed a second night as I was happy with the comfort and air con.

I stayed at Hotel Concorde for two nights and, overall, I had a better experience than some of the harsher reviews. As a two-star hotel, it offers the basic amenities you'd expect—nothing fancy, gets the job done.

I booked a double room, which suited me perfectly for a short stay. The bed was essentially two singles pushed together, but it was comfortable enough. The room had a functioning toilet and shower, a decent amount of space, and a TV. Everything worked as expected. The only annoying thing is the AC can be a bit loud, yoy can somwtimes hear the neighbours, and WiFi can drop, but nothing crazy.

Breakfast was pleasant - simple but satisfying. There were fresh cornettos, juice, water, and the essentials for a start.

As a downside, it would be the area around the hotel. It's close to Termini station, which is very convenient for transport, and very close to usual tourist sites, but the neighbourhood itself is rundown.

All in all, Hotel Concorde is a solid option for a short, budget-friendly stay in Rome.

The single room’s shower unit was very small and room was small in general. The area around the hotel was ok with some nice restaurants but late at night, it wasn’t the best place. Overall it was clean, the staff were good and Termini was 1 minute walk, so an ideal base for exploring Rome (metro) and Italy (high speed trains).

Staff is friendly, and helpful. You walk into an alcove off the street with the name above it and there is no lobby/staff/anything. Eventually saw a buzzer. They buzz you in and you take an elevator to the 5th floor. The sign at the street level obviously boasts \"air conditioning\" but I was told this was only available in Summer (it was June 27 and a bit warm). The room is about 60 square ft with a firm twin and a bathroom you wouldn't want to squeeze into if you'd had a big meal. I survived.

Convenient from Termini railway station. It can be a little confusing to find on the busy streets surrounding the station. All staff I met were very friendly and helpful. Neighborhood may seem sketchy but I never felt unsafe. It's a very busy city.

DISGUSTING... STAY AWAY!!

I have travelled to Rome before and stayed at MUCH better hotels at better prices. I have also travelled to Colombia, Turkey, Greece, Canada, etc. This is by far the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in.
1 - The hotel is on the 5th and 6th floor only, BUT the elevator only goes to the 5th, so you have to carry your luggage to the 6th floor.
2 - The bathroom sink does not drain.
3 - The floor in the room has never been cleaned or mopped. It was filthy and sticky.
4 - The walls in the room are dirty/scuffed and have not been painted in years.
5 - The TV in room is the size of iPad.
6 - There are many undesirable people outside of the hotel and it felt unsafe.
7 - No control for A/C unit.
8 - The pictures online are a false representation of what we experienced...

Overall, the best way to describe this property is you pay for what you get.

I got yelled at upon arrival for ringing the buzzer an absurd amount of times which was understandable but I don't have the same buzzer back home, so I didn't understand the mechanism

Once I climbed the 7 stories, I got yelled at by a very mad Italian man for 3 minutes ish, I thought he was about to swing to be honest.

The area right outside of the hotel is a little sketchy. However, they are quick to open the front door for you, the moment you buzz in, once lol.

One weird thing about the residents that had me a little worried was I had to give my key up every time that I left the building to the front desk, so I just hid all of my valuables whenever I had to leave the room, which was a bit worrying.

Wi-Fi wasn't very good and I felt like it was exactly what I paid for it, which is around $90

If you're traveling alone on a budget, it's great.

If you're with a family I wouldn't stay here.

Don't let these things take away from the location, it was perfect

Ideal location to rent an e-bike and to tour the entire city of Rome.

Definitely would stay here again despite all of the inefficiencies with the check-in process and the yelling that I got from the front desk

I'll go through the pros and cons. Pros are location and the front desk personnel tried to be helpful. Cons, the stench that hits your nose when you walked in to where the elevator was smelled like an open sewer. Rooms were not cleaned, floor was never mopped but the beds were made everyday. Would not give us an extra sheet nor did they change the sheets until the 4th or 5th day. AC unit worked poorly. Shower was too small could not bend over to wash my legs without hitting my head on a wall. Breakfast was extremely limited.

The staff were super friendly and the hotel rooms were basic but very clean. The cleaning staff do an amazing job! They served a continental breakfast which was a nice way to start the day. The hotel is located half a block from Roma Termini station which is convenient for train travel but in a little “rough around the edges” area. But if you go two streets down you have incredible restaurants, gift shops and bakeries.
I would happily stay here again.

If you want to get mugged then this is your hotel. Your safe once you're inside but getting inside is dependent on pressing an intercom button and by the time they answer you've literally lost your mobile phone and wallet. Room was very basic and in poor condition. Staff were helpful in finding me a hospital to get my injured hand looked at after the mugging.

The heating in the room was not working; we did not have duvets, and we were provided only with a blanket.
When we reported the problem to the reception, we were told engender will fix it for the second night but this did not happen. The receptionist claimed there was nothing wrong with the heating and disregard our claim.
Unfortunately, at the time when we were in Tome it was 0 degrees outside and we had to sleep with clothes and use our coats for cover. Dreadful experience

The providers had a dog which we lent down to pat, but lunged and growled at us. Not a great welcome. There wasnt much option for breakfast, squash was to strong to drink, and staff member couldnt understand when trying to ask for teabags. Staff on the reception were friendly and helpful.

Propensity located near all public transports you need to get around Rom. You can also walk to popular sites like Colosseums, Foro Romano, Trevi Fountain etc. Within 20 minutes walk. Try a Metro from Termini only a few stations to get to Vatican. Plenty of restaurants around to dine or grab a quick lunch. Area is safe though it didn’t look like at first impression, because it is near the train station. Getting here from or to airport is very convenient with bus or train. Staffs are very friendly and don’t skip the complimentary breakfast. Will stay here again every time we come here.

The location was perfect, a stone's throw from the station and walkable from all the main sites, only 20 mins from the Colosseum. The room was clean and the shower was good. The rooms are on 5th floor and there is one lift but it all works fineand wewould stay here again. Coffee and breakfast were also decent.

Nice tidy room although the air con wasnt great, and had to be switched off when you left as you had to leave your keys at the front desk
Also it is on the 6th floor! It has an old looking lift but wouldnt be great if you had large bags.

BEWARE FINANCIAL EXPLOITATION AND ADVERTISEMENT FRAUD

The city of Rome, Italy is beautiful but this hotel is excluded. Do not book here!

- Have to GIVE YOUR HOTEL KEYS to receptionist every time you leave the hotel & buzz yourself inside the hotel since you don’t get to keep the keys
- TOILET FLUSHES ONLY ONE TIME PER DAY so you have to limit your food intake
- NEIGHBORHOOD IS SKETCHY there are panhandlers outside
- There is only one old SKETCHY ELEVATOR that is 100 degrees inside
- AC DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY Cleaning people TAKE AWAY AC CARD so the room gets extremely warm while you’re away & room temperature equals 85 degrees. Cleaning team opens balcony windows when you are away despite its 100 degrees outside
- WIFI DOES NOT WORK
- FORCED BY RECEPTION TO PAY 3 ADDITIONAL TIMES FOR MY BOOKING in order to get my keys and not lose the booking because the receptionist was claiming that I never paid for the hotel when booking since the payment was “rejected” according to them - after reading the hotel booking I saw the name on the receipt was a completely different name than mine (complete different cultural background), mind you, reception used my passport to find my booking - no idea how you get this screwed up. It took hours to to fix the mistake and I was woken up at 11pm by reception so that the hotel at their convenience can fix the mistake by giving me a refund. No other accommodations were provided.

The hotel serves the purpose I wanted, location close to termini, and cheap! Free breakfast was good, hotel was safe, but the beds were rock hard and the cleanliness was fair. I’ve stayed in better, but I would have no problem staying here again or recommending it to a friend on a budget.

The wifi did not work at all. The electricity would turn on and off randomly throughout the day. the hotel overall was dirty and grotty. The street outside the hotel had stalls selling fake clothes with men doing drugs on the street, including a man once sleeping at the steps of the hotel. We felt very unsafe being on the street of the hotel and at times in the hotel as well. location is decent however not as close to landmarks as it claims. not worth it there are better for the price around the corner / much safer

For 1-2 night it’s ok!

When I arrive the receptionist said straight away to me that I don’t have any booking . After me being a bit rude because I was tired he had a look again and found my booking. The staff was overall nice but never helpful . I slept in the single room. Next to me was the kitchen at 6am the breakfast lady start preparing the breakfast and it was not possible to sleep after 6am, it was too loud. As my friends was staying in another hostel , night time it’s wasn’t nice for a single girl to come back alone . I never felt comfortable as the location isn’t in a good area. Last day when I checked out and had to take my bus for the airport at 4 am all around my hotel was prostitutes. So b prepared for that.

Good location right next to Termini railway station. Good beds. bathroom tired, AC dripping water, but otherwise really nice and excellent value. Would stay again.

Very simple but everything you need. If you're not looking for bells and whistles but want a clean and comfortable place to spend the night and keep your things, this hotel does exactly that.

Dont stay there

I would stay there just gor 1. Igjt only if there is a need to stay there . The air conditioning in room didnt worked well , i felt insecure in the area , outside the hotel lots of garbage , and there ia no actual lobby downstairs , you. Need to go up to the 6th floor to checkin

Perfect for the purpose

The hotel is strategically very good located though location in itself is not very nice.
Staff was very polite. We needed a hotel close to the train station and this hotel was a perfect choice. It is important to point out that being on a 5th floor, guarantees you quietness.

Good location. Linen a little tired. Bed and pillow not very comfotable. Lack of maintenance in room and bathroom.Could not get tv to work or adjust aircon. Guess we got what we paid for
