The front desk manager was very helpful. We were able to check in early. The included breakfast had a good variety of things to eat and is served in a grand old space. The room was comfortable and large for a European hotel. It is very convenient to the Termini train station and a 25 minute walk to many of the main attractions.

No AC in building, manager says it’s turned off this time of year. Was given a loud fan. Opened windows and loud ambulances drive by. Manager moved us to other building (upgraded room, much appreciated but honestly I just needed a room that had ac). Breakfast was awful. No bunson burner under the eggs or bacon, which the food was cold. I let them know this, I just got a response of “oh” and walked away. Tried cereal, the milk was room temperature. I’m seriously not one to complain but for nearly 400€ I expected basics to be covered.

Not a great hotel!

Stayed here from June 18th to the 22nd and was very disappointed. The pictures were better than the actual room and hotel. The room and furnishings were old. The walls were dirty and the beds were very hard, like sleeping on the floor with just a blanket. We were given a room facing traffic and it was very noisy. There was a fee for breakfast which was ok. For the price we paid, almost $1400 for 4 days, it was not worth the money! There are a lot nicer hotels in the area that are priced the same or better and worth the money you pay. I wouldn’t advise this hotel if you want cleanliness and comfort.

We stayed in a hotel similar to this is Paris.
A couple of things that might be good for others to know: They have an American style breakfast each morning, our bed was a queen(larger than we are used to while traveling), our bath/shower was VERY tall- there are no places to hold on while getting out. There is an elevator. It is more narrow than those in the US but works fine.
We took more than 1 plug adapter and were glad we did.

We brought a small plug in fan and used it often.
There was A/C but it was not powerful.

The lady who cleaned our room was very quick and sweet every day! We appreciated her so much!

The hotel is located 2 blocks from Termini station. This was super helpful because we used the metro lines to travel around the city.

I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel has an amazing history. So much is still original. Loved the quaint and very quiet old elevator with the cage door. Our room was bright and clean and quiet. We had some electrical issues - ie the blow dryer provided in the bathroom would over heat and shut off after a minute or so. Also our adaptors didn’t work in all of the outlets. The hotel provided us with their adaptor so all worked out. It’s in a walkable location to the train station, lovely restaurants and shopping. I would stay here again!

Had a really great time at this Hotel, it us just minutes from Roma Termini, and about 20min walk from historic landmarks and points of interest—like the Trevi fountain. The staff was always helpful and nice, breakfast was included in my stay so that was great. I can say this is a hotel worth returning to.
Small detail, the shower made a somewhat loud sound when the water was running and the drainage was slow.

The hotel is in 5 min walking distance from the train station. It is very convenient to go to those tourist sites. The breakfast is free and fantastic. We need to go to the train station earlier than the breakfast and they even packed the breakfast for us.

We stayed for 2 nights before a cruise. We chose the property for its convenience to the Termini station (which we could see from the window!!). The breakfast was excellent and there were lots of restaurants in the area.
Our room was on the 6th floor (there was an elevator 😀) and faced the main road. We weren’t bothered by street noise. Our room even had a little balcony.
The main attractions in Rome were about a 25 min walk away.
Staff were excellent and even helped us arrange a tour.

Mixed impressions really. We had 2 rooms, both very different. One was light & airy, the other dark & dingy even though they were next to each other. Nothing like the pictures online!!! Tea & coffee making facilities were varied, no milk provided, lots of flavoured teas but not enough breakfast tea. Requested more but none were provided. Decor was old & a little outdated. Bed was very comfortable. Towels changed every day. Free toiletries were replenished daily. No iron & ironing board to use, instead a chargeable ironing service. Free safe in room. Breakfast buffet was ok, something for everyone. The reception staff & porters, all men, were a bit grumpy & serious, need to smile & be a little more welcoming. Good location for train station, airport transfers, hop on hop off buses, close to all the attractions. I would stay again but might look elsewhere first.

Very conveniently located near to the train station. We stayed here just because it was the same hotel to meet our sons group on their last night who were staying here.
Rooms including bathroom were reasonable - good size, comfortable beds, and clean but could do with some modernization or refresh.
Staff were friendly and helpful, stored our bags and a good selection of breakfast items is included. Good for the price.

A Joyful Visit to the Atlantico

We were pleasantly surprised to find such a lovely old hotel so close to the main train station (10 minutes by foot, if you're slow). The staff was well-informed and helpful and the rooms were just terrific. The hotel is just down the block from the Hop On Hop Off buses and walking distance to some important sites. Around the corner, we found delightful sidewalk dining.

The only one issue for me was the air conditioner, i tried to lower to cooler but it didn't work, i assumed the hotel control the ac to maintain in a set temperature, there was 32 degrees Celsius outside.

This is a fantastic hotel!! So clean and the staff so friendly and welcoming.
Our room was spotless.
The hotel is in a great location - close to the Termni and the metro system, but also you can walk easily to the major landmarks.
Plenty of amazing choice for restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity.
I would give the hotel 5 stars, and would strongly recommend it x

Access to public transport . All 3 metro lines go through Termini Roma so easy travel around city and airport. Plenty of decent price restaurants around. Highly recommend

The room we had this time is more spacious with elegant furnishing & has a percolator. The toilet is big too, with bathtub and 2 sinks. They don't have a business area. You need to email the hotel so they can print out whatever you need for your flight, which is too much hassle, with people checking-in and out. They have a big lounge where they can put 2 computers and a printer in a corner.

You are checked in at the Mediterraneo but housed at the Atlantico which has no services and to get there you need to go through steps without hand rails. To exit you have to travel up to the stairs to the Mediterraneo. For a handicapped person it is a nightmare. For breakfast you need to go to the Mediterraneo. To catch a cab ditto. I and my friends were very disappointed and angry at the bait and switch tactics by these two hotels. I will never stay there again. Even if it was gratis. Hotel needs to clean house. Front desk staff is rude and authoritarian.

We awoke at 5:00 every morning by garbage truck collecting bottles and garbage from the 4 hotels that are facing one court. Don’t even think of eating in the rooftop restaurant, unless of course you like extremely over salted food, not to mention service by people that really couldn’t give a damn

All the staff members we met were very nice and helpful....the room was nice,but even though we asked for a room not overlooking the main street,it was still noisy.
Near the trainstation is a noisy area,but convenient.
Breakfast buffet was very good.
only odd issue was the bathroom plumbing!
Toilet flushing was a hastle and the bath water,when going down the drain.....came up again at the back of the bath and pooled around the drain by the bidet!!

This hotel in a great location for us. Walking distance to train terminal but far enough that one doesn’t hear the trains. We took the bus from the airport to the train station and then it was just a few minutes walk to the hotel. The breakfast was great - a lot of choices. The coffee in the middle room was the best. I didn’t try the ones in the other rooms but family did and said the coffee was not as good in the other 2 adjoining rooms. We walked everywhere. We found, by accident, that it’s definitely on the cleaner side of the river. They don’t clean the roads on the Vatican side of the river. Major difference on the cleanliness between them so stay on this side. The only disappointment was the cost of beer on the top patio. 8 euros. At restaurants it was 4-6 euros and only 2.5 euros if you bought at the convenience stores that are at every block. We also found that there’s only certain locations you can take a taxi from and best to just have the metre run. Only 12 euros to the Vatican from the hotel. The front desk did call a taxi for us so we didn’t have to look for the taxi ‘area’. All 6 of us enjoyed staying at this hotel and would do so again if and when we return to Rome. There sooooo much more to see!

This is an older property, almost 100yrs old. I always feel I am in an older more genteel Rome. This is my 3rd stay at this property and it is always a very good stay. The staff is accommodating and professional. The breakfast buffet is astou ding and it is close to the Term I I and Metro.

Magnificent city - you could stay a month and not see all that you would like to see.
Ancient Rome sites impressive.
Buy skip the line tickets for Colosseum and Forum - preferably with a guide.
Buy skip the line tickets for Vatican museum. We were in a group and had a guide - not enough time to visit what interested an individual. Too many people to truly appreciate the Sistine Chapel. (truly a masterpiece).
Hotel conveniently located - close to train station and within walking distance of the train station and metro stations

Walkable to Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. The room is bigger than I expected, but it looks old. Bed, tv, wardrobes, table all old as well bed sheet is old. Bed Mattress is not really comfortable, I hardly could sleep very well. I have found hairs in the bathroom which is a huge put off.
