Amazing Experience – Highly Recommended!
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The location was excellent, close to everything, yet peaceful and relaxing. The food was also delicious, especially the breakfast – fresh and with a great variety. I truly felt at home and will definitely come back. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality!

Miraggio thermal spa is beautiful, with such attention to detail. All the staff are extremely helpful, pleasant and polite. The grounds are immaculately kept and there is a very relaxing atmosphere throughout. There are several restaurants with a variety of dining options from sushi to seafood to steak. Would highly recommend Miraggio thermal spa as a holiday resort and I would return.

Great resort - falls short on food quality

The resort is definitely maintained to a very high standard. Beautiful and clean. Staff is very professional, courteous, energetic and always seeking to serve and please. Rooms are good. Pools and beach are great. The big issue is with the foods and drinks price vs quality. We did only attended the breakfast/evening buffet and the pool restaurants - we did not try out the a-la-cart restaurants - however, for the prices charged - even these should have been top notch - and unfortunately all fell short. We resorted to heading to the local restaurants in the nearby town which are 70% cheaper and offer much better quality dishes.

STAY AWAY. This is a scam!

This hotel was a huge disappointment. Such a beautiful facility with the WORST customer service. This is NOT 5star. I’ve stayed in better hotels in the villages.
1. NO AIR CONDITIONING. I thought it was working, but they said their system only decreases the temps by 5C. It was 39C outside. My room was very very hot and humid.
2. NO HOT WATER. Enjoy a fun cold shower. Only had hot water the first night.
3. Cleaning crew enters room with DO NOT DISTURB on…. Surprise!
4. Servers act like they don’t want to be there. Waited 45minutes to get a round of drinks…. At 5star prices.
5. Food Options. I’ve had better food at Disneyland, and probably cheaper. I actually drove to town and ate a local Taverna with my family.
6. This did not feel like Greece. I’m Greek and I know what Greek hospitality and this was not it.

I do have to say they did give us a free buffet dinner ($250 value???-not drinks included $70 cost) to make up for everything that when wrong. I appreciate the gesture, but after I dropped $3000 for 2 nights not sure that made up for 2 nights with out sleep because the room was too hot.

Really enjoyed the experience. The facilities were lovely. Can’t go past the pool and the beach. It was so scenic!

With a family there were lots of activities for the kids to do including beach games and football that were hosted by Miraggio staff.

The music of an evening in the oasis lounge was a highlight as was the thermal spa. (However 50 euro additional charge for the spa)

Only draw back was the cost and not a lot of variety of restaurants (4- one was closed) so you end up going to the same ones over and over, which got a bit boring.

You need to have car as we went into pkehori one night and it cost 40 euros for the taxi there and back - 10min ride.

We will come back to Miraggio but we will book a club room or a room closer to the pool and rent a car at Thessaloniki airport.

Very bad experience

As a VIP customer, I expect an upgraded room when available. The reception made the opposite - downgraded me to the worst room in the hotel, asking money for updrade, when at least 33% of the hotel is EMPTY.
In the room - sinks where plumbed, balcony is below the road level, blocked by the road one meter from it.
Lights went on and off during the night without control, waking us up again and again.
Outside - due to rain - sea shore, all pools and restaurents were closed.
Inside spa was available for extra charge, but, so croudy - not even enough chairs for all the people there.
Simply terrible!!

We were mislead by hotel call center and later they even said that email correspondence is fake, apparently due to cyber breach, and the promised deal cannot be accepted. We were told we will get some extra benefits as compensation but it was followed partly without real attention to the security breach the hotel had which affected us, the costumer. I dont recommend this hotel due to the way they treat thier guests

The Miraggio was a pleasing stay, however that it was overpriced. We always stay in 5* hotels. We felt that for the price we paid we should have been offered half board. The price for the buffet restaurant was ridiculous. €45 per adult and €20 for children over 5 was extortionate, considering what we had already paid for the room.

We had submitted a complaint regarding their failure to tell us children were not free. A manager kindly spoke to us and offered to waive €50 for late check out. We thought this was really kind and made us feel good about our stay as our flight was so late, this gave us more time to enjoy the hotel.

However at check out, when we went to pay for our extras the lady behind the counter just told us the amount without providing a full breakdown of the costs incurred, tapped it into card machine and asked us to pay.
I then thought I would like to see a full receipt of our costs just to make sure the overall price was correct.

We have stayed in 5* hotels across the world, whenever we check out the staff ALWAYS prints out the full balance and presents it to us so we can understand how the amount has been calculated.

The lady agreed to give me a printout but then proceeded to stuff it into an envelope.

I said no need for envelope I want to see balance now. When we looked the fee of €50 was added to our bill. Had I not asked for a breakdown we would have paid. She corrected the amount. I found this very unprofessional.

Great relaxing family holiday

Perfect place if you want to get away from the busy life and be just within the resort nothing for 5km. The entertainment particularly the show Miraggio On Ice was excellent stars from around the world. All staff were always helpful and friendly especially Vitalis from the entertainment team.

Only had a couple of issues that I was not happy with which were :-
1, Flys in restaurant area few of the times. We did report it to the management.
2, very disappointed that no water was provided for drinking except 2 500ml bottles when you check in and at other times you had to purchase each bottle for €3. I did point this out at checking in that it was very petty they had to do this at least sell them at a reasonable price.

Not what I have expected from a 5 star hotel

Nice hotel, the food is bed especially the restaurants for lunch and dinner.
All the pools are sea water it’s important to mention (I don’t think it’s amazing for kids) we didn’t know until we checked in.
The location is very far and not really recommended to people wants to go and travel during the day.
Overall it’s ok hotel with a lot of potential to be great hotel.

The worst service ever , beach covered with rocks

I have never experienced such a bad service like in this place.
It's not understaffed , that could be a good excuse if it was . Quite contrary ,
they place had endless people working there all appearing to be confused and not knowing answer to anything , making mistakes in each and every situation .
Everything went wrong from the moment when we stepped in .
First , there should be \" welcome drink \" as you wait for them to find the room for you ( we came there at 2;20 pm and room was not ready )
But there was no any welcome drink . No any VIP checking-in either as it says on my booking that it should be .
Moving on , the room was average , not properly cleaned, for 3 of us they have left for us only 2 towel sets. For 3 beach towels again they gave us only 2 \" towel cards \" so again no beach towels for all 3 of us .
There should be a bottle of vine waiting at our room , as per my booking.
Of course it wasn't there . I had to complain about it 3-4 times before they eventually brought.
When we booked another restaurant ( Italian ) at the hotel there was supposed to be one time 50 Euro discount . Of course they have made a mistake and made only 30 Euro discount , I had to complain to have that corrected .
For around 300 Euro per day we got \" Garden View Room \" which was actually view at the wall and passing vehicles / supply tracks .
The hotel beach - do not bother , huge endless sharp rocks. We really regret choosing this place . Never again .

The hotel is high level with many facilities and big rooms. Service is good, however I wouldn't recommand to use hotel service for day trips or any other activities they are offering. Hotel would charge 3 times more then making the reservations by yourself. Hotel is located at a remote area with no close by towns, so car is a must if you want to be mobile. All in all except for the activity booking services hotel is recommended.

Everything about the resort is excellent. Views, services, food, spa, kids club, pools and beach area, cleanliness. We can't wait to get back to this hotel.
However, couple minor issues.
1. Hotel has a policy of charging 6 euros for every room service order, no matter how big or small. When asked about it at front desk and guest relations, I was told by 3 different people that every 5* hotel does it. As if educating a little person like me that I knew nothing of this 5* luxury life. Forcing me to explain that I have traveled before and have seen other 5* hotels and have Never experienced room service charge.
2. Few times when aksed about certain services, first thing we were told is 'it's extra', without realising the issue (example: refilling the free coffee/tea station in the room).
3. For a hotel of high class and corresponding prices, you could educate staff at the front desk and guest relations on how to talknto the guests.
4. Restaurant, bars, valet parking, beach staff, kids club staff were all absolutely fantastic.
Overall, top notch hotel and we will definitely be visiting again.

I liked the location, very clean environment. Entertainment team have very good program. May be should change a little bit evening shows. No where is written that you should pay additional fee for the shows in Miraggio Theatre. Not well organised make up room service. The room was cleaned only twice for a week without call. It’s no good practice to clean the rooms between 2-4 pm when the small kids are in the bed. It will be good to improve the breakfast with some seasonal fruits as watermelon, melon, cherry- not only oranges, bananas and apples. Need to improve beach bar food with some healthy suggestions -some fish or soups or pizzas.

Everything was perfect! We would definitely return and already recommended the resort to our friends!
I just have some minor comments on the pillows which were not very comfortable.
Also I would have preferred having the option of taking my car from the parking myself instead of having the valet do this for me.

Wow what an amazing hotel in a beautiful location! As we drove through the winding roads we wasn’t sure what to expect. We arrived late due to a missed flight & were greeted by staff who promptly got us to our room where a light snack was awaiting. When we woke up the next morning we finally got to see the amazing grounds of the hotel & began to familiarise ourselves with all that the resort had to offer. Breakfast was great, such a huge variety along with Dinner too. The kids club was fantastic & the staff were superb with my 5yr old daughter. The pools were huge & the beach was beautiful, staff provided games & entertainment around the pool daily.
You couldn’t really ask for more as the resort had all the boxes ticked! We would definitely return.

Beautiful resort - but service was disappointing

The resort and its area was very nice, beautiful, amazing place to spend a few days. The room was really good and spacious too. In any case, we loved the hotel itself. My impression was that most other guests, like 80%, were Russian. On the downsides, the service was rather slow. At times you have to wait a long time to get your car or arrange something. The location is remote, so you need a car if you even want to go to the town or another restaurant outside the hote. One thing that we were really unhappy about, was when I urgently had to send a package via courier. I left the package at the reception and was assured the courier comes twice a week so it will be sent the same day or 2 days after that. It took them 2.5 weeks to send it! the hotel staff only remembered about charging me (8.5 EUR) after 1.5 weeks and only sent the package 1 week after that. It took several emails and phone calls. Very unprofessional.

The good: Resort is new and beautiful, great pool area, and the staff is superrr friendly!

The bad:
Beach is small and very rocky and ton of algae.

It is NOT a “spa retreat”, it’s a family resort. If you’re expecting a quiet or romantic getaway, this is not the place for you, as almost every guest has little ones.

Food is subpar, something you would expect from a 2 or 3-star hotel. Also, pretty much strictly American menu, and coming from North America, not what I wanted or expected. Food and beach are the reasons I come to Greece every year.. this hotel didn’t live up to any of my previous experiences.

Room service is terrible, we waited 1.5 hrs to get a hot dog and French fries and when it arrived, the fries was very stale. Restaurants are quite pricey to be eating there every night, so we opted for room service which is the pool restaurant menu, but don’t expect too much.

Dinner buffet is the only restaurant that doesn’t require a reservation but we were told it’s 40 euro per person and that it’s better to eat a la carte.

I’m more disappointed in Expedia than the hotel for this particular reason: the hotel is rated as VIP and we paid a VIP price. Yet, locals can come in and use the hotel facilities, crowd around the pool all day for a small fee.
I don’t exactly feel like I’m staying in a safe or VIP resort if anyone off the street can come in throughout the day and use it as they please.

Great R&R with fantastic views

Great resort with fantastic staff and all the amenities you could need for a week-long stay. Excellent breakfast and very clean rooms. On site restaurants a little pricey, but lots of other options in the beautiful surrounding villages. Would definitely recommend for peaceful rest and relaxation. The SPA is a must.

Service is a let down on many levels but most bothersome is the fact that anyone who is not staying at the hotel can use the hotels facilities for 20 euros - as a paying guest I was appalled at this practice

Really worth the travel

this is the second time we stayed at Miraggio and plan to make it an annual tradition. Amazing location, amazing amenities, fantastic room, food flat-out from another planet that by itself is worth the travel embellished with Greek delicatessen, extremely friendly service, altogether at a bargain price considering what the resort offers. The beach is not the long sandy beach that one can find in other locations throughout Halikidiki but its clear crispy water invites you to take a dive and swim into the deep waters and enjoy the silence in a supreme scenery. If you do not like the beach, the pool definitely makes up for it. the only footnote that I will leave is regarding service: both times that we were at the pool, we had to go by the bar and give the food order. Usually there is a waiter that walks around the tables but this time it was a little hard to find. the first time it took ~10 min to get our order, the second time <1 min. During breakfast, especially after 9:30 am when the hordes of visitors flock in, you could see tables being left with dirty dishes and not being cleaned up promptly. One should consider that unlike the US where the waiters pick up the plate virtually while you are eating, in Greece the table is yours for the rest of the day, and waiters do not pick up the plates unless you indicate so. The breakfast is to-die-for, by itself worth the travel (as well as the dinner buffet), but I would advise the future visitor to come early to enjoy it.

Disappointing holiday!!

Very disappointed with this hotel- was marketed in UK as a relaxing thermal spa resort, when in essence it was very much a family resort packed with children. I needed to get home to relax!! Very expensive holiday too so if you want a quiet, relaxing holiday - give this resort a miss!!

A little further to get to but worth it. In house restaurants are good, local taverns in town near by are better for local traditional food. Pools are nice and large, beach has pebbles. Spa offers all kinds of services. There is some entertainment every evening for an hour or two. Had a good time.

The place looks grand with high quality finishes. But the haven't quite mastered the art of customer service.
The beach is terrible. Nothing like the photos.

I was looking for a short getaway for my family while vising Greece. I knew about this resort from the time of its inception and it is flat out the best I have ever been. The overall experience was way above my expectations. Future resorts will have to do a lot of work to impress me as much as Miraggio did. Here is a very short list of the most impressive elements of our stay:1. personal check-in with wet towels to chill out, wine for adults, and juice for kids.2. personal walk to the room and orientation throughout the resort. You do not have to flick a finger; very friendly staff will pick up and park your car (underground) and bring your luggage to your room.3. the quality of the amenities was unreal. It is quite obvious that the constructors paid great attention to detail and spared no penny. As an example, the drains around the dream pool are made of marble so that it does not break and does not allow mold to build.
4. the beach perhaps may not be the long sandy beach that you dream of but the water is crystal clear. It is the type of beach that takes a little time to explore and get used to. Personally, I loved it; you can swim deep and enjoy the silence and the sun in crystal clear, crispy cold water.5. As a footnote, the tenants smoke; as an American oncologist married to an oncology nurse this is like trying to sell drugs to the sheriff. However, when we sat for dinner next to smokers (in front of their kids!), the staff very promptly moved us

During our stay it virtually rained everyday so apart from the beach/pools there is very little to do. The only 2 English channels are sky news and BBC no English movie channels ! There is an indoor pool but not for kids as part of spa and one has to pay for this . Nothing else around the hotel for miles so you are forced to purchase expensive drinks. A pint of cheapest beer is 9 euros. You get complimentary water on the first day and have to purchase water thereafter. Must say quite disappointed with our stay and in particular what one would expect from a 5 star hotel. We had booked a king size and were given twins beds next to each other . After complaining they simply put the sheets over the two mattresses with an uncomfortable dip in the middle !

Excellent new facilities. However, food at all restaurants is not of the needed quality for a five star resort. Staff is also not trained at the appropriate level and English is a challenge for some of the employees.
The valley parking at check in and check out is chaotic. Part of the problem is the small ramp and part of the problem is poor organization.
I was told this is the only second season so hopefully next season everything will be better

Lovely hotel

The hotel and the staff are lovely - they genuinely couldn't do enough for me - but the bathroom in my hotel room was not of a 5* standard, the room service was terrible (didn't understand English, brought the wrong food and it was cold after waiting for 2 hours) and all of the pools are salt water; something I didn't expect and wasn't aware of before arriving. I know this is the hotel's maiden season so I do expect for these teething issues to be resolved, so I would return here in a year or so.

Chalkidiki paradise

Yes, it is a brand new resort so there might have been growing pains in the first few months, but by the end of August, that was not an issue. This hotel is beautiful with friendly staff, isolated and better than expected. At first I was skeptical about the images of the hotel since some of them are architectural renderings, but in reality it was even better. A true gem of Chalkidiki! The pools are salt water and amazing (beach not the best). The evening music-entertainment was also varied and professional. I highly recommend this resort.

Vil gerne anbefale hotellet til andre

Alt var som forventet. Rigtig god service. Meget tilfreds. Værelserne var fine. Der var forskellige restauranter, lille mini kiosk, læge, spa. God service på standen, man trykker på knappen så kommer de med det samme og tager imod bestillingen. Maden var god. Alle var hjæpsomme. De sørger for ens bil bliver parkeret i kælderen og kommer med den hvis man vil ud at køre en tur. Nærmeste by Paliori. Meget lille by med kun få spise steder.
Hver aften live musik fra kl. 21:00. Meget hyggelig stemning.

Overpriced hotel for the facilities which offers

It was the third time I stayed at the hotel. Unfortunately the services provided are not as in the past. We chose a club room type but there was no nightly room preparation, nor the perks they offered in the room. In the spas, one sauna was not working as well as the hammam. At breakfast we didn't manage to drink coffee as we waited 45 minutes but our order never arrived. However the heated pools are the strong point of the hotel and we really enjoyed them...

Riesige Anlage mit allen Annehmlichkeiten und Extras. Ein hervorragender Service in allen Bereichen! Exquisite Lage zurückgezogen am Südende der Halbinsel mit viel Landschaft drum herum (dadurch aber auch etwas abgeschieden/abgeschnitten, Auto benötigt). Zu verbessern wäre noch Schattenmöglichkeiten bei den Spiel-/Badeplätzen für die Kinder. Das Babyplanschbecken ist toll, steht aber völlig ungeschützt frei in der Sonne.

Happy to have chosen Miraggio for the holiday! Let me explain why. The resort is new, beautiful architecture and interior design, quality in every detail and in materials used (natural stone and wood), excellent service from all staff who makes you feel important and welcome all the time, with a kind smile. The beach is great, sandy, big distance between sunbeds on Club Members beach, thag also provides has very nice cabanas, water crystal clear. Impresssive boats in the resort marina. Pools large and l well maintained, with jacuzzi. Serenity in adults only pool, swimming among palm trees. Excellent breakfast in Evria restaurant, with eggs menu, greek coffee, prosecco, and diverse and delicious food. Good and diverse food as well at dinner buffet. Live music and very pleasant atmosphere every night at main bar terrace, overlooking the sea. Valet parking for the car.
The room in the Club Members wing was large, very confortable, beautiful bathroom, cleaned several times a day, and using its private pool in the hot afternoons was a real delight!
Special thanks to Nikolaos, our host, for the beautiful surprise he (and thebl resort) made for us as we have celebrated our birthdays there, and for the whole holiday experience at Miraggio!
