From the start of my stay to the finish, everything was wonderful. The room was clean and comfy, including the bed. It sits just steps away from the main road. They answered any questions I had and offered tips on what to do and where to go! This was my third visit to Pitlochry and I already booked with them for my trip back in October!

We had an excellent stay at Craigroyston House. The building is beautiful with a lovely garden and ample private parking. The rooms are tastefully finished and the hosts Greg and Susan are very friendly and eager to please. The breakfast was fantastic with a few choices to accomodate different tastes. Firstly, Greg was excellent at responding to any inquiries we had prior to our arrival. Wasn’t surprising because he was an excellent host when we arrived! This cute B&B must be on your travel itinerary! Not only was the town absolutely charming but this property was clean, convenient, and beautiful! Greg was always around for any questions or concerns and even dinner recommendations! Sue cooked us up an excellent breakfast, we ordered the night before. A minor inconvenience would be that it was hard to roll our suitcases through the gravel to get to the front door. We loved this property!

In the lovely town of Pitlochry this cozy hotel was comfortable, clean, and very convenient to everything in town. We actually travelled by rail and it’s within a short walk of the station. Our room looked toward town and over the garden and was very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent and Greg made sure our visit was perfect. We even got a discount at a local shop staying here. We only wished we’d had more time in Pitlochry.

We unfortunately only planned for one night at Greg and Sue's lovely B&B in the heart of the beautiful Pilochry. From the time we arrived Greg met us with ideas for our day and a smile on his face. We had a lovely day exploring the town, caught the end of the Highland Games and had a wonderful dinner in the city. Our sleep was comfortable and quiet and awoke to a delicious breakfast. Truly a magical stop on our way to Inverness.

This was our first stop in Scotland, and we felt so welcomed and right at home here! The owner asked us about our plans and gave us suggestions for places, even some that offered discounts if we said we were staying there! This is an absolute gem of a place & I loved every minute of my stay here. My room was beautiful. Very clean & so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious & plentiful. Couldn’t have asked for more. The b&b was very quiet,which was exactly what I was looking for. It was so close to the town centre while being in a very quiet spot. It really was a little piece of heaven. My hosts Greg & Sue were so kind & friendly & even though I was a solo traveller they both made me feel right at home.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Craigroyston House,in fact I’ve already done just that! It gets a 10/10 from me 👍

Wow! Picturesque house, nestled on a hill with a beautiful walk through garden to get to a charming town just 2 minutes away! The room was small, but lovely; however, did not like that there was two beds in an already small room, and a note on the smaller one not to disrupt or a fee of 50 pounds would incur. All in all enjoyed our stay and the perks given by a restaurant, in town, and a jewelry shop; just for staying here.

This place is gorgeous! Greg and Sue are wonderful. The breakfast is delicious. The property has easy access to the main drive in town. We could not have asked for anything more. Highly recommend Craigroyston House for your stay in Pitlochry!

Beautiful quiet garden where you can enjoy relaxing at the end of the day. Comfortable room--and very clean. Our stay was wonderful. Welcomed by Greg the owner straight away and carried our luggage for us.
Very warm and welcoming. Offered discounts for us to go for dinner in the town, and recommended lots of activities. His knowledge was perfect.
The stay was fabulous, so warm, welcoming and friendly. The place was absolutely spotless too, and checked on us when he saw us to make sure we were ok or needed any help. We almost stayed an extra night but unfortunately had to get back home.
I’ve already recommended this beautiful B&B to my friends and family and we’ll definitely be back. Me and my daughter had the most amazing time. Beautiful breakfasts too. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay.

Greg welcomed us on arrival, even though we didn't arrive until 8.15 in the evening, due to a very long diversion!
At breakfast he gave us recommendations on restaurants and places to see. We managed to do quite a few of these, including eating whiskey ice-cream! A peaceful place to stay!

Our lovely hosts have exquisite taste. Every room was beautifully decorated, and the grounds are lush and green. The house is on a small hill with extraordinary views. Breakfast was delicious! We had our first taste of haggis. The town of Pitlochry is a gem. Easy walk to the train station as well. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Our host asked us why we chose the B&B - we didn't know Rick Steves had stayed there! We understand why - it's in town, but away from the fray - quiet, good breakfast, comfy, friendly. Could you change the harsh overhead light bulbs though? :-) Highly recommend!

We loved this place! The host was so nice and helpful and gave us great tips for along our trip. Our room was beautiful and very large. It felt so cozy and like our own little retreat. We enjoyed hanging out in the sitting room at night with a drink. Breakfast in the sunroom was great each morning! We were able to walk to all shops and restaurants. A very enjoyable stay

We stayed two nights in Craigroyston House and enjoyed our time there. There was a warm welcome from Greg, including advice about the best places to eat in Pitlochry. Our Classic room was very comfortable and looked out on to a garden. Plenty of choice at breakfast, freshly cooked by Susan, and was really nice. The house is a couple of minutes from the town centre, and there are several things to do in and around Pitlochry. Greg and Susan were wonderful hosts. We recommend this hotel and would stay again

Greg was an absolute pleasure to deal with. From the original directions and booking follow up emails to the exquisite breakfast. Everything was more than we dreamed. The town of Pitlochry is like a postcard from a fairy tale. You step back I. Time when visiting here and everything about the food and service from everyone in this town was top notch. I am not a professional climber but we also tackled the four hour hike to the top of Ben Vrackie and though it wasn’t easy it was well worth the view from the top
If I had one more day to live and had to spend it in Scotland it would definitely be in Pitlochry and I would definitely stay at the Craigroyston House again. Perfect score
