One of the best places we’ve stayed in . Breakfast was superb with a good choice of fruit and cereal followed by a first class Scottish breakfast.
Our room was beautifully decorated with everything one might want. Parking was excellent and we were allowed to leave the car well after check out. Mine host Gordon couldn’t have been more helpful.

Wonderful stay in the Claymore guest house
We spent two nights in this beautiful guest house. The owner Gordon met us on arrival and was so helpful in suggesting where to go for something to eat or drink. The room was lovely, very big with a shower room, dressing room and cloakroom. The bed was so comfortable! At breakfast the staff were so nice and helpful. We had a lovely view onto the front lawn which had been well looked after. Very colourful flowers and even a friendly pheasant appeared in the morning. The guest house is well situated as you can walk into Pitlochry within 5 minutes.

Pitlochry was fantastic and idealic wee Scottish town, I only wish we had planned another couple of days there rather than just n overnight stay.
The rest of our staycation paled into insignificance after this experience. The 'Claymore Guest House' was wonderful, an extra luxurious accommodation and very reasonably priced.
A super large modern classic bedroom with a sitting area and a large modern bathroom suite, and to top it all we also had a lovely view across the well manicured front lawn.
Graham was so welcoming and interested in all of his guests, and served a varied delicious breakfast in the morning. I simply cannot recommend this guest house enough, it was the crown in the jewel of our week long staycation which also included St. Andrews, Callander and Stirling. We will definitely be back for another trip to Pitlochry in the near future. Thank you Graham and your staff for your wonderful hospitality, hope to see you soon.

Lovely place. Room was clean, bright and airy and 4 poster bed super comfy. Bathroom was maintained to a high standard and loved the automated illuminated mirror. TV was on an extending bracket that could be turned to watch it from the bed or from the sofa which was a well thought out idea and fridge to chill your own drinks another nice touch. Hosts were great and very informative, breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and very attentive service. All very safe and clean following all current guidelines. Beautiful well kept garden and lovely view of the highlands. Would definitely stay here again if we visit the area again.

Very friendly & helpful getting. Room was stunning with loads of space. My wife especially enjoyed the separate dressing room. The ensuite has obviously been recently refurbished and has a huge walk in shower. Breakfast was really nice, although with there only being an hour (8:30 - 9:30) the staff were kept extremely busy. Overall a lovely place to stay and i would highly recommend it .

We loved this hotel, we had a large room, and a nice waterfall shower in the room. This hotel was walking distance to downtown Pitlochry (2 minute walk). The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and things to do around town. We were travelling for our Honeymoon, they gave us chocolates and a note, which was very thoughtful. Breakfast was complimentary and very good. It was a hot meal of your choice with an assortment of juices and coffee and tea.

Staying a Claymore Guest House was a special treat! It's not a fancy place, but Graham and his team have thought of everything. Service was always warm and welcoming; the rooms were well-stocked and comfortable; and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. I only wish we had more time in Pitlochry with Claymore. I almost hate to write about the Claymore because I don't want it to be booked solid when we take our next trip. Such great folks---the hospitality is excellent, the location is feet away from the downtown and yet not in the busy center. You can walk to the train from here. Breakfast was delicious, well-planned, beautiful in the conservatory, and they actually had brewed coffee, which was delicious. First cup of good coffee we had in the UK.
Can't recommend it enough. I told Graham we give it 6 out of 5 stars, especially since he ordered up rainbow to appear outside of our window shortly after we arrived (a light rain shower passed by).

We had a fantastic week at the Claymore guest house, Graeme, Diane and their staff were very friendly and made us feel very much at home.
