Nice clean room , comfy beds, lovely hosts and breakfast was delicious.

If you have chance, try the Cidsin Bistro, the hotel’s Indian restaurant, during your stay you won’t e disappointed.

Conveniently located,with Pitlochry centre Only a 10 minute walk. We were skiing at Glenshee during our stay which was a 50 minute drive away.

Although I only stayed for one night, I had a wonderful experience. We were able to check-in early and were assigned a cozy, warm room. The hotel is family-run, and the staff were all sweet, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was great too! One thing to note is that there is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up to your room if you're staying on the second floor.

The room was small but spotless and the ensuite bathroom clean and everything worked. The shower was simple to operate and reasonably powerful.
The breakfast was good, tasty and plentiful.
This is a good, reasonably priced hotel and will be our first choice when we return to Pitlochry

The Craigvrach hotel is Truly the jewel in the crown of Pitlochry. This is a fantastic family run hotel. Service was excellent at all times, nothing was any trouble. We needed to move our room from upstairs to a downstairs room to accommodate my disabled friend and this was accomplished very quickly. The room was bright, spacious and wet room perfect. The staff were all excellent, Excellent full Scottish breakfast and fantastic traditional Indian menu. We ate every night in the restaurant as the food was so good. The car service of taking us into town and collecting us after our Enchanted Forest visit was first class and unexpected. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxed trip.Definitely worthy of 5 stars. We are looking forward to another visit. Thank you all for making our visit so wonderful.

Craigvrack Break.

The hotel was excellent with comfortable beds and great shower. Breakfast was superb and plentiful with an array of choices.
The restaurant served the most amazing Indian food that my wife and I have ever tasted.
Variety of wine was great but the Gin and whisky choices was out of this world.
Finally all the staff could not be more helpful and nothing was to much trouble.

We ended up in twin room as no doubles left…. Comfortable beds, ground floor was quiet.
Ate dinner in evening in restaurant it was Indian cuisine and was so delicious. Staff lovely very knowledgeable about food and helped with choices. Breakfast was equally tasty, freshly cooked and piping hot.

So upon arrival, the room still was not avaliable 1/2 hr prior to check in time,16:00.
Seemed as though the entire premises didnt open until 16:00.
Breakfast may have been included but we were not greeted and advised where to seat ourselves. When staff approached us we were told we sat at the wrong table and no mention was made of ordering a hotmeal breakfast, leading us to believe it was cold cereals and toast. Then after sitting for 20mins eating toast and yogurt we were informed by same staff member that a hot \"Scottish breakfast\" was available. Service industry is simple, what the challenge is communication skills!
The carpets definitely need changing!

Enjoyable and comfortable stay

My parents had a lovely stay at the hotel. I had booked for my Mum's 70th birthday. They found the hotel staff very welcoming and very accommodating. The room was very comfortable and the cleanliness was of a very high standard throughout the hotel. They had a lovely evening meal as well as a nice breakfast. Thank you for making their stay enjoyable and they would definitely like to come again.

My partner and I stayed here for one night after visiting The Enchanted Forest. Initial impressions were that the hotel was a short walk from the main street, amongst beautiful scenery and looked nice from outside. The young man who checked us in was very pleasant and efficient.
Our room was very small and extremely hot. We had to turn the radiator right down and open the window (only one opens). There were lots of paint splodges and poor finishing everywhere and the dark grey paint made the room feel very enclosed. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were spotless but the pillows were flat - need replaced. The tea tray was good, cups etc were clean but one of the milks (even though it was long life) was off and i couldnt drink the tea. It was too late to call reception to get replacements.
We slept well until 7am when another guest allowed her children to make excessive noise in the hallway. The bathroom was vile. Despite a spotlessly clean toilet and sink, the windows were covered in black mould which is unsightly, unhygienic and dangerous. The top of the shower frame was filthy and the bath mat obviously hadnt been changed since the last guest, as it was covered in dirty marks.
We were asked at check in what time we wanted breakfast - we chose 9am and appeared at the restaurant at 0855 for our food. We finally got our meal at 0950 after waiting 20 mins to place our order, and it wasn't great. Poor quality and terrible timing. We won't be back and wouldn't recommend.

Was just a last minute booking on my long way home, but it turned out to be the best night of my two weeks in Scotland. My suitcase was carried upstairs by the young man who welcomed me in reception and explained about the restaurant and breakfast times. I arranged my bookings at both. Very impressed with both meals. Breakfast was not all self serve but freshly cooked as per my order. Room was superb with every attention to detail supplied.

We booked this hotel months in advance and when we arrived they gave us room #1. This is a wheelchair accessible room. We are both young and in perfect health. The room is right next to the hotel front entrance so if you want privacy you must keep the curtains closed at all times. Feels like you're in a dungeon. The carpets were terribly stained and the bathroom had what looked like black mold around the floor. All i can say is that the owners were very nice and the parking was great. There was no body wash or hair conditioner supplied. Thank God we always pack our own toiletries. The shower was awful because the temperature wouldn't regulate. Bottom line., ADVOID ROOM NUMBER 1 AT ALL COSTS!!!

The family were lovely. So helpful and friendly. Nothing was a bother. The room was spotless and cosy. The restaurant was very nice. Indian cuisine very different to the normal. Tried new dishes and was very pleasantly surprised. Honestly cannot say a bad word about the whole experience. Would definitely recommend and would go again.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly. I cannot fault the cleanliness of the hotel overall. Bedroom, front enterance etc. Good variety of continental breakfast and cooked breakfast. The front grass were the group of tables are could do with a cut and one of the wooden small tables need checking as it tipped forward and our drinks fell on the grass. But, was nothing to faukt the hotel but front garden needs some attention

The friendliest staff, hotel was perfect for parking. VERY helpful explaining the menu since we had never eaten Indian food. Even small taste if we were unsure. I would highly recommend staying there, we will do a return trip at some point.

A great find in Pitlochry

After a long day of train delays and driving, we arrived late. Shae (I hope I got the spelling correct), greeted us and was able to let us order dinner after the kitchen was closed. It was the best curry we've ever had! Incredibly gracious. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the hotel is just a 5 minute walk to the town. Great location.

A nice hotel

The hotel is well situated just outside Pitlochry. The area is quiet. The parking is convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The room was a bit cramped for 2 people and 2 suitcases. Both room and bathroom are clean.
It is fine for one night.
Breakfast id fine.
It takes 15 minutes or less to walk down to the town centre but 20 minutes to go back up to the hotel which is on a hill. There are lots of paying car parks in the town.
The Cidsin Bistro is excellent and serves very well cooked dishes.

Cosy home from home

We came for an overnight stay with our grandchildren. We had the attic room. It was perfect. Double bed for us and and a joining room with 2 single beds , the kids loved having their own space . Breakfast was lovely , we all had a variation of eggs, scrambled, poached, fried and an omlette , nothing was too much trouble.
Juat a few minutes into the car for the town center

A comfy room and onto our meeting the staff a very polite , efficient , friendly and provide wonderful service enjoyed lovely chats and a good laugh with and always ask if everythings ok with our stay and onto the amazing dinner experience in the hotels cidsin restaraunt & bistro the service in wonderful and the food its out of this world huge credit and thanks to the chef and staff alike making our stay thoroughly enjoyable if anyones planning a trip to pitlochry you must try the craigvrack we reccommend indeed also ensure book dinner in the cidsin you must try the tiffin from the menu its amazing dinner experience delicious food

Lovely and quiet place to stay

Lovely 2 night stay. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly. Lovely breakfast. Was a bit worried at first as our room was on the ground floor facing the car park and also very close to the bar but it was very quiet and we really liked that our room was away from all the other rooms. Would definitely recommend staying there.

The owners and staff couldn't have been nicer. The room was very clean. Parking on site was great, and breakfast was good. However the rooms and bathroom could do with a revamp, both a bit tired.whilst a bath was fine, and plenty of hot water, a shower is essential these days.

Friendly hotel close to town center

On arrival the staff were really welcoming and informative. We got a twin room. Our room was clean and well presented. The only issue we had with the room was it got really warm at night and the shower pressure wasnt great. But once we opened the window the temperature was fine. We used the shower at peak time which likely caused the pressure issue. Breakfast was tasty and again staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall i'd stay again and recommend the hotel to others.
