After paying almost $3,500 for a room. The hotel manager racial profiled my dad in the lobby interrogating him with security asking over and over again “what his room number was” after that manager literally helped him find an ATM the same morning. Save your money and just stay at a boutique hotel or airbnb

Impressive grounds and very friendly/ helpful staff. The room was spacious, clean and quiet with good amenities. The hotel made a real effort to lay on activities for all age groups, which was nice. One star deducted because the hotel was very dated and is in need of modernisation.

Room was OK , the food in general was not good . We received poorly cooked meat , and completely burned uneatable nan bread x2 , breakfast area was too busy that we had to go to another restaurant where it was also too busy so we had to wait a for a while to have a breakfast. Entertainment quality was also really bellow any good level.

This was a very large resort hotel. Beautifully decorated for Christmas! They even had a welcome night for guests with champagne, canapés and an invitation to participate in making the largest fruit cake ever! ( not sure when it will be baked - probably marinating in many types of alcohol until Christmas) Nice clean rooms; (the bed was a bit firm but I’m sure if we had asked they would have accommodated with a layer softer); we had a beautiful pool view. The staff was amazing especially Vrugo who seemed to be everywhere! Always smiling, making sure everybody was happy and taken care of. Also Justine - he greeted us every morning at breakfast with a genuine smile and interest in accommodating whatever we needed! I didn’t catch her name but there was a woman staff member at the beach bar/fire show who took exceptional care of my husband and I - she seated us in front and center seats and made us feel very special for the entire evening! (celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary). The beach is across a very busy street; although the hotel provided a nice staff member with a flag at the crosswalk making it safe to cross. The lush landscape and outside pathway lighting was beautiful!

This resort is stunning.
We stayed here for 10 nights, and can genuinely say this was our best hotel expereince. It is a family friendly resort, with lots of activities to keep everyone happy. 5 pools, which are all kepy very clean, and well attended by staff.
The beach is just across the road, a word of caution, wait for the security guard to flag down the traffic before crossing.
Breakfast was included for our stay, and we felt it was very good, lots of choice, plenty of coffee, and the wonderful staff, who greet you with a smile.

As you can hopefully tell we were very impressive with this resort, and the staff who helped make it our home from home for those 10 wonderful nights in Phuket.

The staff are super and go out of their way to help. They are incredibly diligent, easy to deal with, and always friendly and happy.
The room was very clean and cleaned regularly throughout the day. It was also very quiet.
The beach is straight across the road, and it’s an easy walk to both the Karon and Kata Beach shops and restaurants.
A very enjoyable stay.

The room was dirty. The kleenex box was a million years old. They left used sandals from another guest as hotel sandals and it was infuriating. They left 2 of 4 free espresso pods for us. There were scum streaks on the mirrors and when we went to the front desk to complain they wanted us to tell them how to clean the room. We said no. Its not our job. This is NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL. Overall a nice hotel and close to the beach.

There were alot of renovations happening to the beach bar area but it was well cordoned off.
There were quite a lot of glasses left each night by the pool and also coke cans so it’s not cleaned fully.
Breakfast was lovely and good attentive service.

The Hotel is located approximately a 15 min drive from central Patong and is situated near Karon beach (the property is not actually on the beach as you have to cross a busy public road to enter the beach) - however the location of the property overall was ideal for pursuing various activities in Phuket. The Hotel and rooms were slightly outdated but the property was clean and rooms serviced promptly and given its lower price compared to other 5 star properties in Phuket - the hotel represented good value for money. Point to note is that the service was nowhere near the international standards you would expect from a 5 star hotel, but by Phuket standards (where service as a whole is notoriously poor) the service could be considered above average.

Pros: Quiet resort, had a variety of outdoor pools. Food was quite good. Location is great if you want to be close to the action but not too close to hear the street noise.
Cons: Rooms were hazardous with steps in odd places, myself and several members of our large group tripped over the step in the hallway.
Bathroom vanity had a weird step up just underneath it which forced us to bend forward in an awkward position while using the vanity.
There were large cracks in the concrete surrounding the children’s pool. In the pool my children and I stubbed our feet on some kind of drainage hole that had sharp pointy spots sticking up.
The in room dining choices were very limited.
The chef in the breakfast buffet spoke about me while I was standing in front of him, not knowing I could understand Thai.
Service was average.
Bathroom had a leak from the ceiling and also in the hallway. Paint was also cracking on the ceiling above the bed.

Overall not a bad place to stay but the hotel needs a bit of a spruce up and some maintenance to be rated 5 star. With items in the room falling off, getting stuck (all plugs), shower leaking and flooding the bathroom, and lack of tv entertainment unless you join Facebook or Netflix plus outdoor furniture and gardens needing replacement or repair it falls a bit short of 5 star luxury. Room services could be conducted up to 7pm which is not convenient after a day out. The meal prices are very expensive as is anything within the hotel grounds. However, the staff were wonderful and very helpful if you struck the ones that could speak a little English. The location is great and just a short walk across the road to a beautiful beach. Overall, don’t expect it to be a 5 star experience but the location is top notch.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Pullman Phuket, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short stroll from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sea.

The in-house dining options were impressive, with breakfast at Snail offering a delightful start to the day, and dinner at Thai Thai was equally enjoyable. One of the highlights of our evenings was the live music at the Andaman Lounge, which added a wonderful ambiance to our stay.

I highly recommend trying the ravioli at Karon Cafe; it was a standout dish that we looked forward to. The hotel also boasts clean swimming pools and spacious rooms, which made our stay even more comfortable. We booked two junior suites, and they were simply brilliant. Overall, our experience at Pullman Phuket was amazing, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Our booking was for 2 adults and a 12 year old child. Reservation confirmation was for a rom appropriate for 3 sleeps. However at the checkin we were charged for extra bed, reception claiming our 12 year old daughter is not a baby! That was unexpected and misleading. In addition the given room was too small for an additional bed. We paid for sea view but unfortunately with the smell and the noise from restaurant on the ground floor of the wing we were not even able to open our balcony door (the only window).

I have stayed at a number of Pullman properties in Asia (Thailand and Vietnam). Most recently the Pullman Phu Quoc 24th Dec to 1st Jan 25 I was very disappointed at the overall service and cleanliness of the property.

Day 1 arrival, there were no towels available for guests at the swimming pool and we were advised to wait at least 1 hour. With two young children who had been swimming I found this completely unacceptable. Our room was also not cleaned for hours even after leaving the ‘make up room’ sign before leaving for breakfast and coming back to the room 2 hours later. After making a call to the reception to ask for the room to be cleaned and then spending a few hours in the swimming pool and beach and returning to the room it was still left uncleaned.

After physically visiting the reception desk to complain, I was told that the Phu Quoc property rooms are only cleaned once a day after 3pm - I have never come across this explanation before in all my time of travelling around the world either for business or leisure.

On arrival at the Pullman Karon Beach after check-in with family (3 rooms) I requested to speak to the manager. A lady (Jung) duly came to speak to me and I alerted her to the numerous service issues I experienced at the Phu Quoc property seeking her assurance that the same would not be repeated at the Karon Beach hotel.

Day 1, after check-in I called the reception team to request 2 firm pillows and nothing arrived. I called again and still nothing.

Our stay at the Pullman was nothing short of amazing. The place is massive with multiple pools restaurants etc. heaps going on if you want that. Close to Karon Beach main centre for shopping etc. we had a room on the 12 floor overlooking the ocean. Amazing views with balcony, great room with bar fridge, tea coffee, water etc. good bathroom with bathtub. Comfy clean bed. Very quiet at night too. Special mention to all the super friendly staff. They can't do enough for you. In room food service was great too. Very special mention to our daily room cleaners Chompoo, Tang and Patty. They kept our room stocked up and spotless every day. If you need it they will sort it. Definitely return here for a holiday. Some advice. Use a translation app when asking for things as sometimes your request can get lost in translation. Prices are very reasonable too across the resort.

This was an amazing stay ! The beach is right across the resort. Can grab taxi service right at the entrance to the resort! Excellent room. We stayed in a garden view and it was perfect, you could even see part of the shore line in our room. The staff cleaned our room several times a day, which was nice. Breakfast had a lot of options, including omelette station and more. There are many pools, some of which are open late, fun for night swimming. Would absolutely recommend !

On the plus side the property is in a good location and the staff are very nice. On the downside it recently changed from the Hilton brand to Pullman, as such it is undergoing extensive renovation. I was given a suite which I found to be very dated with the wood being scrappy and the electric installations being antiquated. After one night I asked to be moved to a refurbished room, which was a slightly smaller but far nicer and with modern amenities
The pool area feels dated, but nonetheless pleasant. The gym was hit by flooding so there is a temporary gym. The renovations are due to take a year. In my humble opinion it would be better to return once the work is finished. The food I didn't find amazing nor did I find it bad. Access to the beach was nice and the town was close by. I found the in hotel amentiities to be pricey compared to the previous five star hotel I stayed in Bangkok. Mainly down to the renovations it is hard to understand how they can maintain a five star rating for guests, but I am sure it will be marvellous next year.

This resort is huge & has so much to offer, from great food, awesome pools and relaxing lounge areas/bars. Walk across the road to Karon beach & 10 minute stroll to main shopping district in Karon.

Housekeeping is fantastic and rooms are left spotless!

The restaurant food is 10/10 and good variety of vegan options.

The team are so friendly and helpful, I personally fell ill during my stay (unrelated to the hotel) and as a solo traveler I couldn’t be more grateful for the staff as they looked after me and continually checked up to make sure I was okay until I was well enough to check out and head home.

There are also humanely kept animals on the property that roam freely (roosters etc) and I thought this was a lovely touch, especially for me as I am an animal lover.

Would highly recommend staying at this resort!

My husband and I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resort and were thoroughly impressed. Here's why we loved it:

The Good

Location: Set on the quieter stretch of Karon Beach, the resort offers a peaceful escape while still being within easy reach of shops and restaurants. The beach itself is beautiful with soft sand and clear water.
Rooms: Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a fantastic ocean view from the balcony. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring great sleep.
Facilities: The multiple pools were fantastic, especially the one with the slide for a bit of fun! We also enjoyed the well-equipped gym and the spa treatments were heavenly.
Food: The breakfast buffet was a feast with a wide variety of cuisines. We also dined at the restaurants which were all delicious, especially the Thai restaurant.
The Could Be Better

Service: While most of the staff were friendly and helpful, there were a few occasions where service felt a little slow, especially at peak times.
Wi-FI: The Wi-Fi connection could be spotty in certain parts of the resort.
Overall

We had a truly relaxing and enjoyable vacation at the Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resort. It's a fantastic option for those seeking a luxurious beach escape with beautiful surroundings and great amenities. We would highly recommend it and would love to return in the future.

This was a fantastic place if you like uncrowded, quiet, upscale and close to the beach but away from traffic and street noise.

Extremely spacious. The beach here is excellent, it too was spacious.

Overall a lovely resort

Hotel is quite old definitely needs renovation of rooms. The bed mattress was very hard. However, and overall, the resort is huge with several swimming pools and easy access to the beach.

Perfect Family Holiday Hotel

The perfect stay for a family holiday but not quite a 5 star. We did enjoy the location and the view from the rooms, the room cleaning and bar staff were 5 star, check in needs to be addressed.

Loved the layout of the hotel and the rooms at Pullman. Quite a large hotel so the shuttle service to get around is great. The kids and I enjoyed the use of each pool each day and swimming in the beautiful waters of Karon Beach just across the road. Best to get an ocean view room imo as these are closer to the beach and breakfast and reception etc. We loved that there are tuk tuks on the beach side of the hotel that can take you 6 mins away to Kata for night markets and yummy inexpensive meals. Or that if you turn right and walk 7 mins along the beach, there are great massages available.
The only issue we had was at checkin where I had booked a deluxe twin sea View room with 2 double beds on Expedia for myself and 2 children and was told these room types only had two single beds and we would either have to pay extra for a rollaway bed to be added or move to a family room & pay an extra charge for this room type (with 2 queen beds) even though they had only garden views available. It took a bit of talking from my end to convince reception staff that it was not my problem that a 3rd party is selling their rooms incorrectly, I paid quite a bit for 1 room that would fit my family and did not agree that the onus was on me to pay for an extra bed once I arrived. I suggested they contact Expedia to sort this out to avoid any similar issues in the future and they eventually agreed to comp the extra bed.

It was amazing stay. Lovely property. U dont need to go anywhere else. Walk outside the property on the beach road to reach local restaurants .. beach is lovely

A good stay with family.

Staff were very good and friendly. Hotel located in a very a large area. Hotel is old and lot of maintenance are happening. A nice hotel for families with kids.
