lovely little Hotel in town centre

excellent hotel in the centre of Nancy, i had the basic room but it was very nicely presented and was ideal for myself.
I would stay in the hotel again

if I had to pick a downside there is no parking but you can park in a multi story car park about 100meters away, i think when staying in the hotel there should be some agreement with the parking company that visitors can get a little discount

but that is a very small suggestion, its not really a complaint

but on the whole, lovely hotel and would recommend it

Lovely hotel in great location

Central location right by the cathedral. Parking 2 minutes walk away in public car park, but you can drop off bags right outside the hotel. Lots of restaurants in the area (although some of those recommended were shut for the August holidays).
Very helpful staff. Adequate breakfast (very good coffee).
Room was smallish but very comfortable bed and proper old furniture. Bathroom with stained glass window was lovely. Cleaning of bedroom excellent. Bedrooms in great condition; corridors a little tatty.
Great for an overnight or two day stop. Lack of comfortable bedroom seating or lounge area may put you off for a longer stay.

Well situated for a visit to Nancy's best features

Lovely hotel, just next to the cathedral and within easy walking distance of the outstanding Stanislas square and the numerous beautiful Art Nouveau buildings. Also, not a long walk to the station.
The rooms had evidently at one time been monks' cells.
Our room had a good en suite robust shower and was cleaned impeccably every day.
The heating kept it warm but also rather too dry overnight, so we ended up leaving the window slightly open to let in some water vapour.
The hotel has no alcohol licence, and there was no coffee or tea in the room, which we didn't mind but some people might. Breakfast was a nice mix of cold meats, cheese, muesli, rolls or bread and jam, coffee, and so on.

What a spot!

The most lovely, old convent turned into a quality hotel! This hotel is actually attached to the Cathedral in Nancy ( a must see) and only a block from Stanislas Place! Aside from some very squeeky (but charming) floorboards...............it was a dream. Beautiful canopy beds, with lovely linens, and a great, courteous staff. Highly recommended.

Not good! Although secure parking for my disabled partner had been requested and confimed, we arrived after a 10 hour journey from Italy to find only payable public parking! We had to accept it as it was too late to find anywhere else. Bokking in we then found we had been placed on the 3rd floor, and due to heavy rain the previousday day, the lift was not working there was no tv and no wifi! The young girl, who was on her own, had to carry our luggage to our room. It was a great shame as the hotel was very beautiful and we could not go out the next day in the car as we had intended as we would loose the only disabled space, and would have had to pay money into the machine every 3 hours. The hotel also had no restruant although I had asked if they had on booking, so we had to go out each evening which we had hoped not to do with Mr. Markham being disabled. Hotels really should tell the truth when asked specific details to do with secure parking ect as it is very important if you are both touring with a car and disabled. Feed back on this complaint would be nice.

Negitives:
Can not see why it is rated 3 star as it has very few facilities.
No private parking.
No lounge or bar.
No restaraunt
Is more upmarket bed and breakfast accomodation than a proper hotel.
A request for an egg for breakfast was refused, which should be included for the relatively high cost of breakfast (extra cost on top of room rate).

Excellent hotel near centre of city.

Probably not the best hotel for those with children looking for sports and swimming, this elegant hotel close to the historic world heritage site square is excellent for those keen to explore the city on foot. The hotel is an historic buillding, formerly the residence of the bishop, right by the cathedral. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms excellent. Rooms are not air conditioned; this was not a problem in May! There is no restaurant; the numerous restaurants of the city centre are within ten minutes walk.

JUST THE TICKET!

Very pleasent stop off hotel. Located perfectly for the square, shops and restaurants.
Down side was limited parking and lack of air con in the room , however for a three star hotel couldn't complain as it was reasonably priced and very clean .

Our room was at the front of the hotel and as the trams ran along the main road we had to leave the windows closed because of the noise , beyond this no complaints.

Great location but mind the noise at night in the adjacent plaza

The hotel has beautiful rooms in its \"prestige\" designations for the hotel. The less expensive rooms looked fairly ordinary. The bathroom and shower facilities were wonderful. Since my room faced the front of the hotel, onto the plaza next to the Cathedral, it got full afternoon sun and was unbearably hot during the summer days, even with the shutters closed. The hotel staff were helpful and polite, but the hotel did not even possess a wine bottle opener when we requested one (there were none in the rooms either), and a request for ice cubes produced a small bowl of three small cubes. Since the rooms don't have minibars or mini-fridges, it was hard to keep anything cold in the room. I had bought some local candies which melted in the heat, for instance. The proximity to Place Stanislaus in Nancy was wonderful; lots of good museums and restaurants are in walking distance. The Art Nouveau district was about 20-minute walk. I walked to the hotel from the train station as well.

Great base from which to explore Nancy and Lorraine

This is a high quality hotel with good service and an excellent location. For a visitor, its proximity to Stanislaus Square and the historic district of Nancy make it a great choice. Parking is very near the hotel and reasonably priced . The breakfast was good and the service was excellent. The hotel was quiet, felt safe, and comfortable. There are little quirks (heater/AC operation, small TV with few stations, very hot water (careful), no bathroom door (curious), no refrigerator, limited ice, no coffee maker) that make it different from a standard US hotel, but none of these was detracted from the overall experience. After all, we came here to experience new things.

Das Hotel macht insgesamt einen gepflegten und angenehmen Eindruck. Die öffentlichen Bereiche sind stilvoll, und auch das Personal wirkt professionell. Leider konnte das Zimmer diesem positiven Gesamteindruck nicht standhalten.

Die Matratze war in Ordnung, allerdings war die Nachtruhe stark beeinträchtigt. In der Nacht war ein dauerhaftes, störendes Geräusch zu hören, das ein Durchschlafen nahezu unmöglich machte. Zusätzlich war das Lesegerät für die Stromkarte mit einem sehr grellen blauen Licht ausgestattet, das den Raum deutlich erhellte und ebenfalls als äußerst störend empfunden wurde.

Das Frühstück war insgesamt akzeptabel. Es gab eine Auswahl an warmen und kalten Speisen. In der Umsetzung wirkte es jedoch etwas lieblos. Kleinigkeiten wie fehlende Espressotassen oder Ketchup trugen leider dazu bei, dass der Eindruck nicht ganz stimmig war.

Zusammenfassend: Ein schönes Hotel mit Potenzial, aber deutlichen Schwächen im Zimmerkomfort.

Accueil froid, je pense que le fait de réserver par une plate-forme, et non en direct, n'est pas hyper apprécié.
Réservé et payé chambre De Luxe. Pourtant la chambre qui nous a été attribuée, ne ressemblait absolument pas aux photos du site hotels.com, ni de l'hôtel. Bien plus petite que celle décrite, mais surtout insonorisation quasi inexistante !!! TRES BRUYANT : chambre située au 1er étage juste au dessus de la porte d'entrée de l'hôtel face au bar qui est ouvert jusqu'à 1 heure du matin, nous entendions les clients du bar à l'extérieur, les voyageurs arriver avec les valises à roulettes, sans compter les voisins du dessus et à côté.
Quand j'ai fait la remarque à l'accueil, on m'a confirmé qu'il s'agissait d'une chambre Deluxe et que, de toutes façons, l'hôtel étant complet : le sujet était clos...
Petit déjeuner varié, dans une belle verrière, mais manque de vaisselle, yaourt dans un saladier dans lequel tombe les miettes et autres des clients qui se servent et surtout personnel un peu dépassé et pas toujours souriant et aimable...

Trevligt hotell som ligger bra till mitt i staden. Frukosten var väldigt bra med bra urval av kvalitativa produkter. Litet rum, som det ofta är i Frankrike men fräsch. Badrummet var underbart. Bästa parkeringen är nog i ett P-hus som ligger bara hundra meter från hotellet.

Hôtel très bien situé, propre et joli mais insonorisation des chambres médiocre en particulier lorsque les portes claquent toute la nuit. Le moindre bruit dans le couloir est amplifié.

Odeurs de cuisine +++ qui remontent vers 5h du matin via les les conduites de clim dans la chambre.

Clim verrouillée sur off et d’ailleurs le petit dej servi le matin sous la véranda qui se transforme en sauna, vraiment pas agréable au point d’écourter le repas.

La taille des chambre est petite et pas de mini bar.
Pour un 4 étoiles, on y est pas même si le tarif était correct.

Hôtel très sympa et magnifiquement bien decoré. Personnel tres agréable et petit dej’ bon et fait maison. L’hotel est a 2 pas de la place Stanislas.

Seuls bémols: Acces au SPA payant pour les clients et cher. La femme de ménage n’est pas passée dans la chambre alors qu’il etait indiqué qu’elle pouvait. Et l’insonorisation n’est pas optimale (ce qui est compréhensible car le bâtiment est d’époque)

Très joli hôtel récemment rénové avec beaucoup de charme. Très propre et très calme. Je n’ai pas d’avis sur le petit déjeuner car c’était le lendemain du réveillon du nouvel an et nous avons préféré faire la grasse matinée.

Très deçu de cette chambre car chambre PMR sans être prévenu, après chaque douche le sol est mouillé au pied du lavabo, lavabo arrosé de partout etc .., pas de porte serviette (obligé de mettre la serviette sur le luminaire) et la chambre n'est pas terminé en travaux (seuil de porte sdb), trace de pas chaussure de sécurité.
Il serait judicieux de noté lors de la réservation que c'est un chambre PMR d'autant plus que les deux seules chambres singles de cet hôtel sont PMR !!! Information de l'accueil car je leur ai dit. DE plus, il y a un espace de 4 cm sous la porte donc on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir (confort 0, travaux non terminés) Cela fait 3 fois sur votre site que cela m'arrive, merci de prévenir vos hôtels.
Une chambre PMR n'est pas du tout du même confort qu'une chambre classique. J'ai fait de la classification hôtelière pendant 5 ans donc je sais de quoi je parle.

J'ai réservé une chambre pour mon passage à Nancy pour voir ma compagne à la Saint Valentin, en me basant sur les photos et les 3 étoiles de l'hôtel.
Honnêtement, j'ai été déçu que l'état de l'hôtel ne reflète pas du tout l'état sur les photos. Pire, les images illustrant la chambre choisie ne correspondaient pas.
Certes, il s'agit d'un monument historique mais les chambres pourraient être mieux rénovées. Il faisait froid dans la chambre, l'éclairage était trop bas et les produits d'hygiène au minimum obligatoire.
Le parking était finalement complet et il fallait refaire le tour (avec les travaux) pour aller au parking Stanislas.
Bref, heureusement la personne à la réception était sympathique.

Great location in the nice town of Nancy and this historic building could have the potential to be a nice hotel. However there were some aspects that need serious improvement.
Although the building is quite monomenyal, for some reason the doors to the coridors are shabby and the suspended ceilings are quite out of place.
We were a family of 4 and had 2 rooms. In one room only one of the lights was working ( 3 were defect) the shower floor had clear black marks. The second room with 2 beds had only one pair of towels and although the bathroom seemed to be renovated, there was a bath but only a hand shower, not what people want in 2023. The hotel was also quite noisy. We could hear all noises from the surrprooms. The beds had boarding at the head and foot sides. With 1.85cm I did not really had a comfortable night.
Breakfast was minimal ( no youghurt, no fruit). In the end we had the idea that we spent the night in a youth hostel in an o,d building on a good location. With good management and some changes in optics this could be a better hotel.

Sehr, sehr antik!

Wir bekamen ein Zimmer im 1. OG. Im Bad war keine Dusche, lediglich eine Badewanne ohne Duschvorhang ode ähnliches. Wir hatten ein Deluxe-Zimmer gebucht und dachten, er hätte sich vielleicht vertan. Aber nein, das war tatsächlich das Deluxe-Zimmer. Wir bekamen dann das andere Deluxe-Zimmer mit Dusche. Das Bad war im Zimmer samt Dusche und Toilette. Keine Tür oder sowas dazwischen. Das ging gar nicht. Also wieder zurück ins andere Zimmer ohne Dusche. Na ja, Haare vom Vorgänger in der Wanne und im Waschbecken, das geht gar nicht. Das Bett war nicht sehr bequem; antik eben. Frühstück war soweit ok; aber das Teewasser nicht heiß genug (nur warm). Die Bedienung brachte dann neues heißes Wasser, war aber auch nicht besser. WLAN war schlecht oder funktionierte gar nicht.

Bel hôtel, bien placé mais un peu vieillot.
L’isolation phonique des chambres laisse vraiment à désirer : très bruyant, on entend tous les voisins.
Petit déjeuner correct mais sans plus.

Hôtel avec beaucoup de charme : parquets en bois, meubles anciens, vitraux... A 3 mn de la place Stanislas, idéalement placé, silencieux et confortable. Seul bémol, salle de bain sans pare-douche, et un petite. Petit déjeuner de bonne qualité.

Parkeren kan alleen in zeer krappe parkeergarage.
Kamer op het westen met de zon er pal op.
Pas na een dag werd een ventilator geplaatst, geen airco.

Séjour décevant. Wifi super lent et ne fonctionne pas par moment. Je ne reviendrai pas.
Une bonne connection wifi est trop importante pour un voyage d’affaires.
