The Hotel Cerise was OK but suffers from a lack of maintenance, our room on the first floor had a defective bed side light, the switch was broken, it was also full of fluff. The shower control was initially difficult to use without water issuing from the tap and shower head simultaneously.
We did not have breakfast, but the room had a kettle and tea bags. The surroundings did not inspire confidence but it was quiet and safe. With regards to an evening meal we were directed to restaurant called Au Bureau where we received a 20% discount upon production of the room key.

We arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon, having booked a double room, non-smoking. The hotel staff assigned us a room that leaked stench of smoke from every pore. The sink, in a plastic bathroom pod dating from the 1970s at latest, was stained with cigarette burns.
Upon our request to change room, the staff advised us that all the hotel was non-smoking, that they could do nothing about customers not respecting the smoke ban, and, grudgingly, changed our room.
The door lock of the new room took several attempts and an intervention from the staff to work.
The new room was, at least, clean. However: plastic bathroom pod, 1970s at latest, with ashtray and stained with cigarette burns. Carpet detaching from the floor, badly stained, dotted with cigarette burns.
And, finally, having carefully avoided the \"buffet breakfast\" after a quick inspection, we resorted to the automatic vending machines in the hallway. The \"coffee\" was undrinkable, and I did non manage to swallow more than a few sips before throwing it away.

No surprises
We went through Nancy (which turned out to be more interesting than we'd foreseen) on our way to other places, so we booked the Cerise to save some funds. So, no problem: we got what we expected. There was a \"rupture en service\" of the towels, and so we had to make do with lots of hand towels, rather than bath towels. Garbage pickup at 4am was just outside our (necessarily) open window. Ugh.
On the plus side, and these were considerable: the way to the hotel was aggressively marked at every nearby intersection, so we arrived despite our own efforts to get lost! Access to the town center was as easy as you could want it to be. And the staff were thoroughly pleasant and happy to be of service in all other business, despite not being able to fix the towel problem.

Dirty carpets, rooms very worn out,no pillow cases,just one sheet, no case for blanket, blanket with spots, just 2 small towels for 2 people. Not good sounds isolation from other rooms.

I stayed at Cerise Nancy for a short night. It was good for the price. The room was small and the bathroom like RV style. Breakfast was cold, in any sense... the room was freezing. Worst hot chocolate ever!

A no frills hotel, located about 1/2 hour by bus from the city center. If you are on a budget, it is acceptable. I went during the weekend of Le Tour de France and it was the only hotel available. It is okay for the price and for a very short stay.

Si l’accueil a été bien dans l’ensemble, c’est regrettable qu’un problème de serrure de porte défaillante ne soit traité avant la mise en service de la chambre. Il a fallu signaler 6 fois à 3 intervenants de l’accueil le problème avant sa résolution. Descendre à chaque dysfonctionnement de la porte pour que la personne à l’accueil monte dépanner… ne fait pas sérieux ! Il faut être vigilant sur ces détails prochainement.

Wir haben das Hotel nur für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise benutzt. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gut fanden wir die Möglichkeit, günstig Getränke an den Automaten im Eingangsbereich zu beziehen. Ein kleiner Tipp: der öffentliche Nahverkehr in Nancy ist am Wochenende gratis und man kann mit dem Bus, der direkt vor der Hotelanlage abfährt ins Zentrum oder auch zum Bahnhof und wieder zurück fahren.

Il n'y a pas des prises de partout. L'isolation n'existe pas. La TV est vraiment toute petite. La literie est veille. La salle de bain complètement obsolète. 50€ sans petit déjeuner c'est très cher pour ceux qu'on a. Le personnel est vraiment top c'est vraiment la seule chose de plaisant.

Chambre très propre, lit confortable. Par contre la femme qui accueil à vraiment un très salle caractère. Après une erreur dans ma facture à une erreur de sa collègue plus jeune, elle c'est permis de me gueuler dessus. Incapable de s'excuser et reconnaître qu'il y a eu une erreur. J'ai préféré changer d'hôtel pour le reste de mon séjour.

Det var en fuldstændig frygteligt oplevelse. Hotellet var fyldt med afrikanske gæster, flest mænd. De larmede hele natten og smækkede med døre og vinduer. Råbte og skreg, løb på gangen og havde ingen forståelse for andre. De var totalt ligeglade med andre gæster, samt den ene medarbejder der var at finde. Syntes ikke hotels.com bør have dette hotel som samarbejds partner, før der er styr på hvad hotellet bruges til. Rigtig trist for hotellet.

De badkamer is een klein plastieken hok, je hebt niet eens een vierkante meter om te staan, en daar bevindt zich een douche, wc en lavabo! De WC-bril was kapot en zat los, er was ook veel stuk op en rond de lavabo. De matras was oké, maar de kussens stellen niets voor.
