Hotel's location is perfect for walking access to key sites, like Place Stanislas, or to bus stops to get to places further away. Our room was a good size, except for the bathroom, which was pretty small. The EU17 breakfast is a bit steep in price, but you're paying for convenience not just the great food. Nancy itself could produce a smaller, more helpful tourist guide in English. Warning: No elevator, but the stairs are wide and gentle.

It's converted from a mansion, but the property still in excellent condition, heating system is good, water pressure for shower is perfect. Friendly and hospitable staffs. I was also provided some travel tips how to explore the main attractions of the city. Small court yard and common area are lovely and cozy. I also like the bottled water provided by the property, which tasted so good. Even the property is not near by train station, it's so closed to many restaurants, grocery stores, cafes and attractions within walking distance, less than 1 minutes. The only con is no elevator. I was so happy during my staying here.

Way finding signage throughout the city, made it easier to navigate once that was noticed. No on site parking, but there was a paid parking park about a block or two down. Key pad to enter the hotel at 9pm (so long as you have checked in initially). Location felt centrally located to all the shopping, resturants, bars and all the historical locations. Easy walkable to everything of Nancy. Room was overall clean, soaps was provided. Shower seams appeared to have mold residue. But minor for short stay - company probably doesnt realize it. It is an old building, but little scraper and new sealer, be good to go. We skipped Breakfast as the price was far too costly for what they were serving. If youre in a wheelchair or other accessibility requirements, this place wont be for you (stairs everywhere. No elevator).

Hotel de Guise has bags of charm so close to Nancy’s Grand Rue and is a peaceful spot to stay. A perfect small friendly hotel, with attentive but not intrusive service. Despite being in the ‘Old town’ nearby parking is no problem and if downloaded the EasyPark app for on street parking is super easy to use.

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel de Guise and were greeted on our arrival by friendly and professional staff. There is a beautiful courtyard at the hotel and we really enjoyed relaxing in this area. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. On check out we were offered complimentary coffees which was a lovely and unexpected treat. The hotel is very well situated in the old town with lots of quaint streets, bars and restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend Hotel de Guise and look forward to our next trip to Nancy and stay here.

Lovely 400 year old property in the heart of the old town with many eating options. Friendly helpful staff and very environmentally friendly. Rooms had recycling bins and no plastic is used. Only issues we had was no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor above ground floor and internet connection was open and not reliable.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel De Guise once we had our room situation sorted out.
We didn’t realize that some of the rooms had no air-conditioning and given that it was very hot out, air conditioning was some thing we really needed! Fortunately we had the option of upgrading rooms.

In the heart of Nancy but on a quiet street, this charming hotel was lovely, clean, very convenient and had exceptionally nice staff. We enjoyed the breakfast 2 mornings featuring local products that were delicious. Breakfast is not buffet but they bring what you want and are very attentive. Bathroom was remodeled and the bedroom was a bit older, but very comfortable and clean. 2 notes are that there is no elevator but the nice gentleman helped us carry our luggage when we arrived. Also, on weekends some streets are now closed to cars—walk streets only, so we did have to carry our luggage a few blocks—under 5 minutes. Definitely worth it for the area and enjoyment of the city.

You could not ask for a better location. Everything was within walking distance. The room was large and comfortable. The bed was semi firm and we had a wide variety of pillows to choose from. We could not get a dinner reservation for the first night we were there, but the concierge came through for us and had a very good restaurant give a table. It was very romantic. The room had great hot water and great water pressure.

The hotel is located in a really great part of Nancy with wonderful sights and restaurants. It is a classic hotel with a great vibe; however, our only comment is that it doesn't have the convenience of a lift. It was a super cute place-very close to Place Stanislas and thus restaurants! The hotel was nice-could have been cleaner-floors had hair and there was a half drank bottle of water in the room on our arrival so I worried that it wasn’t cleaned properly. Verbally though we were really pleased!

We spent 2 lovely nights in this hotel, it was very cute and French. Our room was on the first floor and it seemed to be a designated \"accessible\" room; we passed through a charming terrace to go to our very clean, spacious and quiet room. The receptionists are friendly and they spoke English to accommodate to the non-French speakers. Breakfast was “A la Francaise” and costed about 12 Euros after taxes. There is no dedicated parking for this hotel: the hotel entrance is on a narrow one-way street with limited parking spots, which I would not recommend, since we saw many cars on these little streets with missing or broken side rear-view mirrors. There is a public parking in the corner of a huge square in about 5 minutes walking distance, which is free on Sundays and between 6:30PM and 10AM. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. It is an original old hotel and staff is very nice and helpful. Bed is rather comfortable and the room is nice, even though it is small. Hotel is very clean and I believe you will have a nice stay. I have only 2 remarks. There is no elevator, since it is an old building so my pregnant wife had to take the stairs to the 3rd floor and also the room was smelling of humidity when we entered so we had to open the window to purify the air. All in all it was a nice stay.

The hotel is very convenient for the old part of Nancy. The room I had was comfortable, clean and quiet but rather small; some basics, like a safe, were missing and air conditioning would have been welcome in the hot conditions. The staff were polite and helpful at all times.
