Great property. Very very central. The 50minutes included in the spa a great plus. Great service. Great breakfast. Nice bar in the evening with Cuban latin music.

Rooms are France small. So is the elevator.

We had a great time - recharging the batteries.

Overall a good experience

The check in was complicated because the credit card machine to put a hold on the card, didn’t work. I had to go back. The room was really tiny but other than that all good. The hotel is at 3 min from the train station so its location is very strategic.

Great stay in Nancy

The Best Western Crystal Palace in Nancy was an easy walk from the train station. It was perfect for walking to shopping nearby or for heading to Stanislas Square for sightseeing or dining. The staff was great and very friendly.

Good stay in Nancy at the BW within walking distance from the train station and to the sights around Place Stanislas. Updated lobby and the room, though small, was clean, quiet and comfortable. Extensive breakfast buffet is available, though you can also find good coffee/pastry spots nearby. Overall enjoyed our stay at the BW Plus Crystal.

We do not always stay in hotels but we had horrible experience with another housing option in town. We could not stay there for three more nights so I made quick reservation on Expedia and we went right to the hotel. It was only 10 in the morning but we had not had a lot of sleep. Checkin was not til 4. Staff was very kind and let us chill in lobby and got us room by one which was incredibly appreciative. Thanks so much.

Wonderful location. Very good value for money. Excellent, helpful and personable staff. Great bar area downstairs. Lovely rooftop open air bar. Best room (and bed) for the money I've had in years. Exceptional breakfast. Easy (free) on street parking (6pm to 10am) very near to the hotel. The LARGE room was very quiet, and the double curtains kept the room dark late into the morning. Highly Recommended.

Disappointing

Room is ancient and requires modernisation, as per rest of the hotel. Parking was 10min away and there is no temporary park on site so not easy to unload our luggage.
Bar downstairs was a total disaster, loud music and poor offer. Spa in the hotel meant lots of guests around in bathrobe/swimsuit at all times….

They are currently building and renovating this hotel. And it’s a big renovation so be warned. Rooms tired, old, small and I didn’t have a desire to look at the state of the mattress. The public toilet was clean but stank. Luckily we didn’t breakfast there.
On a positive side - good location and a delightful, helpful receptionist.

Les chambres sont petites mais confortables et bien équipées.

Nice small tidy hotel with short distance to the station and 10 minutes fro Stanislaw Square and the centre. Room small but functional. Main complaint was the bizarre shower in our en-suite (room 324). Whoever designed the layout should be shot. Towel rail above taps where shower should be and main holder high high on wall at the side. Therefore could not shower normally. Note to maintenance. Please put shower at head height above the taps and move the towel rail shelf to the far end of the bath. All sorted.

Nice room but old & inefficient air conditioning

The temperature in the room was very hot and stuffy. The air conditioning was not working. TheyYoung man at reception was most apologetic and managed to find us another room with a/c ... which was much appreciated however it was not very efficient and extremely noisy ... so we had to turn it off for the night. The rooms definitely need to be refurbished with modern equipment.

Friendly and good location

Nice hotel right in the centre, friendly and helpful staff and clean and comfortable. We were able to park opposite the hotel in pay and display bays which, from 1600 to 1000hrs cost around 4 euros.
Convenient for sightseeing and lots of restaurants nearby.

Good location for exploring on foot.

Lucked out with this last minute booking. Very clean bathroom, nice and comfortable beds, small rooms but in the middle of town and easy to get around on foot for visiting. Nice breakfast in a warm welcoming room and we even had a parking available for us. Efficient and friendly staff.

Great location & price, clean and safe, poor WiFi

The Crystal was almost ideal for our purposes, two guys traveling together and wanting inexpensive but clean and safe lodging with two beds. Downside was, as happens so often in Europe, the WiFi was poor. The evening we arrived it seemed fine. Next morning at breakfast, and until departure an hour later, it was dead, nothing, even after they reset the router.

The hotel is very nice. Close to the train station so for us was perfect. The lobby and halls have a sewer smell but this did not extend to our room. Our room was excellent , clean with a good bathroom. There was a kettle with coffee and tea which is great!

City hotel, handy for Stanislas Sq. and old town.

The best thing about the hotel was the very helpful and efficient staff. We were made very welcome. The room we had was on the small side but adequate for one night. The buffet breakfast was excellent. There are only four or five lock up garage spaces round the back of the hotel, so book a space if you are precious about your car. Public parking is opposite.

Friendly and obliging staff all round. Nothing negative to say. All of our expectations and needs were met. Well-located, quiet, and efficient. Great bath/shower and nice towels and linen. Fast elevator but small by North American standards (you're in France). Fast Wi-Fi, easy to set up.

Une expérience client décevante du début à la fin

Nous avons séjourné une nuit (samedi à dimanche) au Best Western Plus Crystal à Nancy et ce sera la dernière. Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil a donné le ton : personne à la réception, le seule employé présent était occupé au téléphone et semblait nous ignorer. L’enregistrement, malgré une réservation déjà effectuée en ligne, a été d’une lenteur insupportable. On m’a contraint à remplir une fiche inutile sur un écran tactile minuscule, en qwerty (!), peu réactif, avec des questions intrusives comme les raisons de mon séjour. Tout cela sous le regard d’un personnel froid et peu aimable.

Le lendemain, j’ai pris seul le petit déjeuner car ma femme, malade, n’a pas pu sortir de la chambre. Lors du départ, j’ai demandé si le petit déjeuner non consommé pouvait être déduit. Refus catégorique, sans aucune considération ni geste commercial, de la part du même personnel désagréable.

Nous avons été clients réguliers de cet hôtel, mais le niveau de service et d’attention à la clientèle s’est effondré au fil des années. C’est bien dommage, car les chambres restent agréables. Nous ne reviendrons plus et ne le recommandons pas (plus).

Cet hôtel affirme que les chambres sont garanties prêtes pour 16 h 00.
Or, ma chambre n'était pas prête à cette heure-là.

La réception m'a répondu \"Effectivement nos chambres sont garanties à 16 h malheureusement certains retards sont possibles si l'hôtel est complet la veille et qu'il y a donc un nombre important de chambre à nettoyer\".

En conséquence, les chambres NE sont PAS garanties prêtes pour 16 h 00.

Il convient de souligner que la piscine n'est accessible que sur réservation et que les enfants de moins de 16 ans ont des créneaux très limités.

Un hôtel que l'on vous annonce refait.Pas complètement, loin de là. La chambre exécutive (pas premier prix :171€/nuit) n'est pas refaite, ça se voit et ça se sent.Collée à l'ascenseur, donnant sur rue, au dessus de la porte d'accès de nuit de l'hôtel.Préparez vous au bruit.
Moquette défraichie, tables vieillotte et rayées, fauteuils fatigués, doubles rideaux maronasses qui ne sentent pas le frais, le tout est sombre et oppressant.Contrairement à ce qui m'avait été dit au téléphone, l'hôtel n'est pas entièrement refait.Négociation sans fin pour obtenir des chambres refaites et au calme. La direction a refusé de nous rembourser quand nous avons proposé de dormir ailleurs.Aucun geste commercial non plus.Les chambres récentes sont plus claires mais très petites et dès 8h vous serez réveillés par les perceuses à percussion du bâtiment voisin.Tous les postes sont occupés par des apprentis ou alternants que l'on laisse gérer les soucis et quand la direction montre son nez c'est pour vous parler comme à un chien.Je me suis faite agressée par un des patrons: j'ai posé ma jambe déchaussée sur un pouf suite à une blessure. Pas bonjour, rien: \"vous dégagez votre pied\"
Le fils Gatinois sait parler à ses clients. Être fils et frère de président des hôteliers de Nancy ne justifie pas ce type de comportement et d'attitude vis à vis de la clientèle et la déco de fait tout. Fuyez!
