It was a last minute booking and we read the reviews and they weren’t great so our expectations weren’t very high however when we were checking in the receptionist was very helpful and clear and when we walked into the room it was very spacious and comfortable. It is very basic however if you are looking for a cheap comfortable stay for a family this is a good option.

Great value for money, staff friendly at the desk, facilities good, parking fantastic but cleanliness of apartment was poor. Lots of areas in the apartment that hadn't been cleaned and you could see the cobwebs. A lack of plug points for charging of electronic devices. No air conditioning (was aware of this), however, only one fan for one bedroom, nothing for the other bedroom so my family had an uncomfortable night

Our room was very smoke affected. Either through heavy smoking or perhaps an internal fire, kitchen incident that impregnated the carpet and soft furnishings. 24 hours later in another city our clothing reminded us of our \"dud\" room in Nancy. Sorry to say, this affected our stay. Suggest they investigate and fix before letting this room to anyone else. We didn't get off to a great start as we could not find the property as we ended up in another location after setting our GPS to the wrong location that was given on our online booking paper work, luckily or unluckily we found the property after some time.

Good location, basic, need to improve furnishings.

A driving holiday through France and Belgium and we thought an apartment would be good for a couple of nights. Room clean but sparsely furnished. No bedside tables and only one chair on the balcony. Bin was stored in wardrobe ! Had to request second set of towels. Crockery dirty - had to wash before use. Cloth and washing liquid provided. Kitchenette tiny but adequately equipped. Bathroom ok. Location good. - 15-20 min walk to Place Stanislas. Restaurants just across road. Parking underground 5 Euros per night.

Weather unusually warm for September and room was too hot.

Would return - good basics, but would advise a little more attention to comfort.

We only needed an overnight stay to rest as it was a long journey and It was good that they can offer late check-in.
The guy at the reception (it was after 12 midnight) was still pleasing and accommodating.
We got a standard apartment and the beds are ok. The overall smell of the apartment was not pleasant as it smelled like it was never used. The toilet has unpleasant smell. As we are only staying overnight to rest, it did not really bothered us much.
The breakfast was excellent and there are so many choices to eat.

We booked the hotel through expedia at 11pm and was at the hotel for 11:05 pm. I was told the hotel reception was closed and a refund wasn't going to be given. After an hour on the phone in disbelief that we could be treated in such a manner we had to find an alternative hotel. DONT

This is a terrible place. Customer service which does not work.
I was not able to get into the room as there was no appropriate key, no person to help, or good instructions. After calling their service several times (spent a lot of money on my phone as they charge it), I've been redirected a couple of times, and been offered two keys from the safety box for the rooms, but when coming to the room the keys did not work and I couldn't open the room. After calling again I've been told to call again as I did not reach operator dealing with their hotel in Nancy?!?
It was late and I had to search for another accommodation. I've spent money on another accommodation and lost a paid night here.

Avoid this place, it is unreliable and not worth the trouble.

Pros.:The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the center of Nancy or approx. 5 minutes walk to the nearest bus station. Cons. The staff was unpleasant. There was a strange persistent smell in a room.

the worst hotel experience in my life!!!

This hotel made my trip as a nightmare, first when we arrived they gave as a dirty room(not cleaned at all), when I complained they give us another room, without even apologizing. The worst thing I realized in the evening when I saw my cc was charged, altough I paid right on my arrival by cash. And that was done with some minutes interval when I paid by cash. And the stupid woman from the reception cant speak almoust no english, she was not polite with me and gave no invoice as it normally should be. The next day when I went to complain she said , that I didnt give any money to her, she was looking in my eyes and lying , I was shocked about such lies! And i also had my witness with me-my husband, and there was a CTV that is recording, so I asked her to check it, she also refused that. Then I was talking with the manager and she believes only to her worker, not to me and my husband.She refused to check the situation and the cameras. I lost my money, my nerves, my time. Client has no rights here.

Terrible experience at Appart'City Nancy

We had a terrible experience at Appart'City Nancy. Upon arrival, we had to call to get a code to get into the hotel, open the safe and learn the room number. The call center has a greetings message only in French. There's a good 2/3 minutes wait. All together, you have to pay money (we were on a UK mobile) to get to know basic information that could be communicated before arrival by email.

And this was just the beginning. Once we entered our room, there were only three single beds (we are a family of 4) and no water at all in the flat. I had to spend 30 minutes over the phone with the call center before the lady on the other side suggested to get two room keys from the safe. Apparently---we learned the next day---before leaving, the receptionist leaves a few extra keys in the safe for emergency. Of the two rooms we got, one had just a queen bed, but the other had a queen and two single beds. Exactly what we needed. So, if we had been given that room to begin with, or as soon as the problem materialized, we could have saved quite a bit of time. In the whole process, the manager was nowhere to be found.

The room where we finally slept smelled of cigarette. Not terribly, but quite distinctively.

We were not the only ones with problems. We met another family in the lobby who were trying to figure out what to do given that their assigned room was occupied by someone else.

Bottom line: Appart'City needs to get their acts together.

Cheao hotel, 20mins walk from city center

This is a cheap hotel in regards with the others in the city center. It is 5 stops(7mins not in rush hours) from the city center and train station using the only one tram line. On foot it is about 20mins and you can do it. The hotel provides the really essentials and they will not give you more e.g. paper or something else really easily. It is a bit old, also the rooms inside and not the cleanest. Caprpets are old and a bit dirty. Overall, it is good for students or for people that will make a short stay wanting not to pay a lot of money. The reception desk is not open all the time and you have to communicate with them earlier (and pay calls) before you arrive to have the door code. They will answer the phone, but you will call a lot of times and at somepoint somebody will want to talk with you in english. It also has a supermarket around and farmacy and the neighourhood is ok. Good luck.

LITTLE HARD TO FIND...FROM THE ADDRESS GIVEN ..

This is NOT a normal travel lodge facility. It is a full fledged apartment rental (more like a dorm) with very limited office hours. So you cannot check in at any time.. The office opens a 15:00. It was even difficult to get in the front door...without someone inside opening for you. The room was very adequate and much to my surprise had dishes and silverware. plus micro and two burner electric stove. but when they say SOFABED...they mean sofabed. It was already converted and had sheets and was ready for use. But not the most comfortable bed I slept on this week. My room had a huge balcony with table and chair outside for fresh air. NO window.. the only ventilation was the door. However, the room had AC. NOTE: the entrance level elevator is listed as -1 . (you have to enter - and then one to get this level there is NO -1 on the board. ...very strange i know??

Budget Prices for Budget Hotel

Copenhagen is an expensive city to stay. This hotel is an exception though. It does have budget prices but expect a budget like hotel too. It is clean and provides what is needed for sleeping but the room is very minimal. I thought it was interesting that the TV was actually located above the desk and not in the bedroom....lol! So you can't watch TV in your bed. Also the shower has a pull curtain and you basically pull it around you and it is open next to the bathroom sink. Again, the room is clean but this is bare bones minimal but good price. You get what you pay for but it's adequate.

This hotel is alright. You get what you pay for (I paid $71/night). It's not in too bad of a location. It's just to the east of central Nancy (a short walk, maybe 10-15 minutes?). If you don't speak French, the staff can accommodate for a couple different languages. I think the lobby is the nicest part of the hotel. The room was decent, if a little beat up. It didn't actually have a real bed, there was a futon. You have to pay for the breakfast. And there is only on washer and dryer for the hotel on the first floor (you have to buy some detergent from the store down the street, they don't sell any in the hotel). It's not a hotel that you would hang out in all day, but if you're in Nancy, why would you want to? I love that city!

The previous time I stayed at Appart'City Nancy I was very impressed by the service and the rooms too. Sadly, on this occasion, I cannot say the same. My room had not been cleaned so I slept in used sheets and the towles had been used too. As it was a Sunday there were no staff at the hotel to help. The staff were apologetic on the Monday morning, however it was too little too late.

Dirty room, squeaking fold-out sofa

There was no bed but only a fold-out sofa which made squeaking noises. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty. The ventilation in the bathroom and main room were dirty. There were spider webs on top of the kitchen furniture. We booked for 2 nights but left after one night because this was the worst hotel out of hundreds of hotels we have ever been. Do not stay there.

Stayed one night at this hotel. Carpet and walls filled with stains. Tried to have a shower, no hot water. Apparently you are only allowed to use a certain amount of hot water per day, and the person who stayed in our room before us had used it all. So we complained, got to change room - same state : stains, spots etc. But this time we did have hot water. The bed is a convertible couch, not very comfortable. Internet exists but you need to pay an extra fee. I will not stay at this hotel again since there are other hotels which I find to be better in the same price range.

Quiet Appartment Rental in Nancy

The Appartment/Hotel is situated on the outskirts of the main tourist part of Nancy, just a 15-20 minute average walk to Stanislas Square. Whilst situated opposite the cinema and bowling alley the appartment is quiet at night and a normal flow of traffic during the day. Having stayed previously at a 3 star Resid'home along the same road, I found this appartment more comfortable despite being 2 star, probably down to the furnishings. Although not good enough for a 3 star, the bed was very comfortable and firm, the appartment was clean and cosy, the facilities adequate and most of all it was quiet. The handheld shower was ok but I would have preferred a proper shower unit. The rings on the cooker did not work brilliantly and some of the paint was coming off in the bathroom, but apart from that, it was good value. The internet usage was a waste of money at 2 euros a day as the signal was appalling. I stayed in no.16 on the ground floor, furthest away from the reception area so that might be why. The reception staff spoke excellent English and were extremely friendly and helpful and altogether a very friendly atmosphere. Happily stay here again.

L'hôtel est très bien situé dans un environnement calme, mais il mérite vraiment un rafraîchissement intérieur et une bonne insonorisation des pièces car cela ne donne pas envie de séjourner. le prix de la nuitée est au-dessus de la qualité de l'établissement. La literie est bonne et le personnel est très aimable je les félicite.

Les photos sont extrêmement trompeuses, l'hôtel est vieux, sale, insalubre.
vous rentrez dans des chambres avec une odeur de désodorisant chimique horrible, qui vous prend la tête et passablement cancerigène, moquettes tachées, moissisure dans salle de bain etc.. Une vraie honte, et ne vaut certainement pas les 80 € de déboursés !

Nous arrivons dans la première chambre. La chasse n’était pas tirée... des défections dans les toilettes. On était obligé de couper l’arrivée d’eau car elle fuyait. Nous avons donc demandé à changer de chambre. Ok ça était fait. Une autre chambre avec des cheveux dans la baignoire, le chaud et le froid du robinet était inversé.

Goedkoop en niet veel meer waard dan dat

Personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamer was netjes maar gedateerd. Badkamer was niet schoon, vlekken op de muren en viezigheid op de randjes van de vloer. We misten beddengoed voor het 4e bed. Ontbijt hebben we overgeslagen want €11 pp vonden we erg veel geld.

Et stop på turen

Fint til prisen. Brugt som en overnatning på vej hjem fra kør selv ferie. Hotellet lidt slidt, støj fra byggeplads tidligt om morgenen. Morgenmad OK.

confort du lit et calme autrement tout était désastreux
radiateur de la chambre arraché du mur gisant sur le sol meuble sale et vieux accroche serviette de la salle de bain arraché odeur d'urine dans les toilettes propreté douteuse vaisselle inexistante déparrareillée et vétuste personnel dépassé et limite de mauvaise foi

Etat de l'appartement lamentable, déchets alimentaires restés dans le réfrigérateur. Matelas plus grznd qye le sommier, donc on tombe du lit en dormant !!! Salle de petit déjeuner en etat de guerre permanente par manque d'organisation. Directrice hautaine et en incompétence inconsciente. A fuir.

Chambre livré en retard, aliments en décomposition laissés dans le réfrigérateur. Matelas plus grand que le sommier. Salle de petit-déjeuner en mode scène de guerre, mal débarrassée, et summum une directrice hautaine et dans l'incompétence inconsciente de son rôle. A éviter dans la mesure du possible.

Fuyez aussi vite que usain bolt

Hôtel de qualité médiocre, sale et très bruyant , nous avons été contraint de quitter notre chambre 2h après notre arrivée soit parti à 23h à cause du quartier avoisinant, de personnes bizarres faisant des aller venue dans l'hôtel. Et pour la saleté juste à regarder linterieur des fenêtres qui n'ont pas été nettoyé depuis la construction de l'hôtel et pour couronner le tout personnel pas aimable. Bref hôtel à fuir
