Nice hotel, where we located in town. The reception staff were polite and amazingly helpful we would stay there again.

The straightest route from this property, Rue Saint-Nicolas, to the city's main attraction is actually dangerous - it is lined with cat-calling and confrontational men and gangs of thieves - I would think advice on this from reception was very important but none was given.
The rooms were great for the price and clean too, but very warm - they should be air-conditioned! We were refused a second fan. If the weather is more than mid-twenties during the day expect a sleepless night!

Good location in Nancy, within walking distance of central area. Sometimes a bit noisy due to helicopters flying in and out day or night into hospital across the street. There were road works and access was blocked from the main road when we stayed there, a shame that we weren't informed beforehand and provided with indications for alternative access. Reception is only open during limited opening hours during the day, be very careful if you can only arrive outside of these opening hours. Parking is charged separately at 9 EUR/day, extra beds (even baby cots) charged at 10.50 EUR/day, breakfasts are charged 10 EUR/person (even for children), really not pleasant extras when you stay for several days. Wifi connection is open and unsecure. General cleanliness ok although kitchen dishes and stoves weren't properly done. The main flaw is a shocking lack of storage: two shelves under the bathroom sink, three hooks in the bath and four coat hangers in a cupboard with dusty brushes and brooms. That's it. Simply not suited to welcome families for several nights - as you would expect for an \"appart'hotel\". How comfortable can your stay be when you can't even empty your suitcase or store anything away from the living space? No air con which was bad luck in our case in the middle of a heat wave. Never again.

10 minute walk to city
This is about 10 minutes from town center. We walked to the Christmas market from here. Staff was helpful with directions to city and food. The pool is from about 3 to 4 feet deep. My kids still had fun but may be a factor for other families. The place is literally an apartment, next to people who actually live there. It was comfortable, had an elevator and we lucked out with parking right out front.
The pull out bed mattress had some pretty icky stains on it. That was gross. We had to sleep there so put on the provided sheets, but still... ew.

Not much to like about this one-night stay and overpriced hotel. As a family of five we booked two rooms. The bedrooms are very small. The rooms have a bad smell. In one room there were no sheets to put on the sofabed. The frontdesk was already abandoned but thankfully we could use extra sheets from our second room. During the night we heard noisy helicopter landings and take-offs from the hospital across the street.

Only faults I can think of is that the reception shuts at 8, so difficult to get keys on arrival. Also receptionist wouldn't consider changing the room to one with two single beds (which I thought I had booked)

This was a nice location for walking to Place Stanislas and markets along the way. There was no a/c, but a floor fan did keep the room cool. It was ok for the one night we stayed, but I would not recommend this place to my friends.

We stayed here for a night on a road trip through Europe. Our room was clean, quiet and in good decorative order. The staff were polite and helpful, and the hotel is a short walk from the main sights of Nancy.
The only frustration was that the reception isn't staffed between midday and 3pm and therefore it's not possible to check in between these times. Whilst this was stated in advance, we did find it a little inconvenient.

Review of a Canadian traveller
It's like an apartment with a kitchenette. Nice neighbourhood , good wifi connection from your room,NOT in lobby only. No air conditioner though. Fairly a distance to walk to city centre. We were told that it was only a 10-15 minute walk but it would be about 30 minutes at least. Parking fees is 8 euro. Breakfast is not included. Over all, I would still recommend this place. Reasonable price for this kind of an accommodation.

We arrived late (23:00) on a Saturday evening and had neglected to arrange for a late check-in, but the staff thoughtfully emailed us directions to collect the key to our room and our arrival went very smoothly. We had a room with a separate living room and bedroom, which provided plenty of space for our family of four, and at a very economical price. We were in town for only one night, but were able to walk through the streets of the center city into the square, picking up pastries for a wonderful breakfast. If you want an inexpensive, no frills hotel close to the center of the city, this is a great place to stay. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Good hotel in busy city
This is my second visit to Nancy, my husband's home town. This hotel is in a fairly good location, a decent walk to Place Stanislav and sights beyond. The room itself was very nice, supplied well with kitchen aids. Bathroom tub/ shower a bit strange; hard to take a shower without getting water on floor. Breakfast for 9€ a bit steep for what they offer, but if not in the mood to run to bakery in am it suffices. Other than that, would suggest this place to anyone, very good deal overall.

with their check-in. The front desk is convenietly closed on weekends
(we were supposed to arrive on a Saturday) from 11 am to 5 pm. My wife
and daughter were flying from the U.S. on that day, so they would be
tired, and needed rest. I was already in Nancy before that, so the
plan was to pick them up at the airport, bring to the hotel around 2-3
pm, and move into the room. The hotel manegement refused to let me
pick up keys the night before, or give me an access code, which is
what about every other hotel would do in such a case. They forced me
to pay for an extra night to be be able to pick up the keys the night
before and more in to the room before 5 pm. For comparison, their
check-out time is 10 am.

apart from the the unsual fact that amount of the shelf space was
exactly zero outside of the bathroom. No need to unpack, since there
is no room to put anything in.
Another horrible experience was with the internet. The hotel advertizes
free wifi in the room, but the signal is extremely weak. To connect,
you needed to find the weak network, fill out an online form, and they
would sent you a text message to your phone with a code. To start
with, our phones we American phones, so the text messages were not
free in Europe. In any case, their message never arrived, so you had to
arrange for them to call you with the code, which again cost
money. This all had to be done over a very weak signl. Furthermore,
you had to go through the procedure separately for every singke device
you wanted to connect to the internet. Eeven after you are connected,
the signal is so weak as to be often unusable. In one of the room, any
reception of any sort was available at exactly one fixed spot in the
room. It has been a long time I have had such bad experience in a
hotel, and I stay in hotels often.
I would never consider returning to this hotel if I can avaoid it.

An excellent value apartment. Just a little out of the centre ( Nancy has lots of buses and trams, but the French clearly don't expect out of townersm to use them....neither the Tourist Information, nor the bus terminal had any information beyond a network map and didn't care)

Nancy was great, but hotel reception was so bad we moved out after first night. Dissappointed that Hotel.Com did not help in recovery of cost. Overall a very unsatisfactory experience from Nemea.

We expected something better than this. The pool was small and cold. The gym was the smallest and most poorly equipped that I have ever seen. Car park secure but difficult to get a decent sized car in (had to back my 4x4 out as otherwise would have taken a roof bar scrape..).
Room itself was cramped and poorly furnished. Hot.
Tv didn't work at all. Lights mostly didn't work.

Nemea Nancy Appart'hotel gives independance
The staff are friendly and helpful. There's a pool, gym and laundry (great for those on a long holiday.) These apartments are central to all of the tourist attractions as well as to the University and Medical Centers, for those visiting on business, and in easy walking distance of a large supermarket. For those wanting domestic independence during their stay in Nancy, this is the perfect place.

Worked for us.
We needed a stopping point as we were driving between Marquarstein Germany and Paris. Nancy seened reasonable. The Apartment/Hotel a good choice for the 4 of us. Staff was friendly, everything was clean, while things were fairly compact, and a bit spartan, all in all it was a good value. Would recommend for folks that view hotels as a place to get a good night sleep, not as a destination.

Par contre gros souci, pas de gratuité de parking qui coûte 12 euros l'heure, en plus dans la cuisine l'éponge pour vaisselle franchement, pas possible, vous pouvez faire attention parce que trés salle. Sinon l'accueil, la réception impeccable.

Séjour très décevant. L'établissement est dans un état assez vétuste. La chambre a un niveau de confort bas, le crépis est grisé par le temps, les meubles bas de gamme amochés par les chocs, les joints jaunis, l'insonorisation très médiocre (j'ai entendu les voitures passer dans la rue toute la nuit). Nous avions besoin d'une nuitée en hôtel à proximité de l'hôpital Central. Nous avions réservé cet hôtel au prix très attractif. Nous ne sommes pas déçus de la prestation. Chambre spacieuse et confortable, une salle de bain simple mais agréable et un environnement très calme. Literie un peu ferme, mais qui ne nous a pas empêché de bien dormir. La chambre dispose d'une kitechenette, ce qui est un plus si on ne veut pas aller au restaurant. Nous avons bien apprécié ce concept de studio en formule hôtelière et reviendrons avec plaisir dans cet établissement si nous devons revenir à Nancy.

Personnel was friendly and willing to help. The rooms are spacious enough. But a few basic facilities were not in place or damaged. For example the toilet seat, the handle of the fridge, the egg boiling machine at breakfast.

This was very bad. Who gave this Hotel 3 stars? The room was not nice, it was dirty and the bathroom was very poor . Toilet seat was broken and on the floor. The lightbulbs was missing , a very easy thing to fix. The breakfast was very simple and not filled up

Je ne sais pas si le problème était inhérent à notre chambre ou si c'est comme ça dans tout l'hôtel mais il y avait une odeur pestilentielle de tabac froid + autres odeurs non identifiées. Dès que nous avons franchi le seuil de la porte, l'odeur nous a frappés au nez. C'était extrêmement désagréable. Nous aurions dû demander une autre chambre mais nous n'avons fait qu'y passer un nuit donc nous avons supporté mais je n'y retournerai sûrement pas.

Une nuit réservée à la dernière minute. Pas eu le temps de tester les équipements comme la piscine, mais nous avons passé une bonne nuit. La chambre était assez grande, nous y étions avec notre chien de 20kg, aucun problème.

Très beau WE à l'Hôtel avec mon petit-fils. Nous avons regretté tout de même que le dimanche matin la piscine n'ouvre qu'à 10h alors que sur la porte c'est 9h ! Lorsqu'on est en vacances on a envie d'en profiter, pas de faire la grasse matinée ! Petit déjeuner 10 euros bien cher !

De la nourriture restante d'un précédent locataire dans le frigo, de la poussière qui sort en masse des VMC sur la cuisine, une tasse dans un état pitoyable, un micro onde qui ne fonctionne pas ( on etait 3 a avoir louer 3 appartements et les 3 micro onde ne fonctionnait pas. Une piscine fermé pour maintenance (depuis plus de 4mois au vue des avis sur google) de la vaisselle encore dans le lave vaisselle, des moquettes littéralement \"degueulasse\", des radiateurs et de la lingerie des années 80, bref une honte total cet appart hotel meriterait un controle d'inspection et une fermeture en attente de renovation !!!

Echt een smerig hotel , op de plaatjes ziet het er goed uit maar de realiteit is helaas anders. 20 minuten gebleven erna weggegaan, dochter op een andere kamer vond vlekken op haar laken kussens die met blacklight opspringen , 2 kamers geboekt misschien kan ik wat terug krijgen….was echt vies

In 1 woord slecht. Vlekken in het bed, stinkende koelkast, kamer op de 4e etage met 32° - lift kapot. Zwembad defect/gesloten. Aan de receptie sprak men alleen maar frans. We zijn gillend weggerend.

Etablissement très propre, pour ma part j'y ai séjourné par rapport à la proximité de l'hôpital centrale de Nancy qui est juste à côté. Cependant le centre de Nancy est à 15 minutes de marche. Très bon emplacement donc je recommande.

Sur place pour 3 nuits, horrible ! Literie inconfortable, un matelas d'une epaisseur de 10 cm à peine, mon dos porte encore les traces du sommier... Trop chaud dans le studio meme en ouvrant la fenetre (balon d'eau chaude dans la cloison qui degage la chaleur), pour prendre l'ascenseur faut se montrer patient, tres patient! La piscine fermée car soucis pour la chauffer... Le bip du parking marche une fois sur cinq quelle galère,et pour terminer en beauté faut quitter les lieux à 10h du mat, je déconseille fortement!!! Seul point positif l'emplacement.
