For the price I would expect to have toiletries or trash bags in the trash cans or even a blanket on the bed. They also deactivated our room keys 2 hours before checkout so we got locked out. There didn’t offer room service for breakfast only lunch and dinner is offered. It’s the little things and conveniences that are missing that are annoying.

The swimming pool and hot tub were actually closed but it said they remain open. We booked it just for the swimming pool. The room and elevator are not clean, there are construction dirt and debris in the elevator. The staff are not professional enough. For the price I paid there is no service at all, no water, coffee, tea bags available, no bath tub ( a shower), no breakfast, nothing at all. The lobby is empty.

I didn’t get to check out the amenities as I was just in town for a baby shower but staff (I believe she was a trainee) and hotel were great. Walkable distance from Stamford station and the area had decent food options as well as some shopping options. Would stay here again :)

The hotel is centrally located and has good amenities. The pool is small and many times crowded. The sundries shop in the lobby is small but more than adequate. The area is bustling with restaurants just outside the door and plenty of access to shopping. The rooms are well appointed, but very basic. Front facing rooms will experience loud noise until almost midnight on the weekends from the many restaurants and clubs along the street.

I liked the room and the bathroom were very clean. I was bit in trouble the tissue in the box was just 3or4 left pieces and there was no refill.. We enjoyed the small gym and hot tub but the towels were out… We took some from the gym but it was pretty small…but overall pretty good.

My hotel experience had problems due to some disturbances in my room but this was dealt with in an excellent way by the front desk manager. Most of us do not expect perfection in our hotel experiences and always kindness and understanding go a long way to resolving problems. So thank you to the staff, and particularly this one staff member, for making our hotel experience such a positive one. I should mention also that the valet staff were lovely - super helpful, quick and friendly.

One of my favorite Courtyard stays ever. Great location close to restaurants and shops, public parking ($16 overnight) nearby and convenient to everywhere really. This location is excellent. There are many places to eat, AMC movie theater across the street, and a Target around the corner. This is perfect for a nice weekend getaway trip. Stamford Metro North Station is five minutes away from hotel.

Overall, the stay was sufficient. We simply needed a place to sleep for a one night. The room was spacious and nicely appointed. However, the door to our room would not open after we locked it. We eventually jiggled it in a way that allowed us to open the door. However, that’s a serious safety issue. The room was clean, but it needed some attention to detail, especially in the corners of the bathroom. We didn’t have time to check out the rest of the hotel. Although a little dated, the property looked nice.

I was accosted by a homeless person aggressively panhandling while just outside the front door waiting for valet parking. The mechanical door look was falling out of the door frame. There was a significant amount of water on the inside window frame . It appears the window seal is compromised. Mandated valet service should have been published.

I booked 2 rooms for my son’s graduation. I requested them next to each other. I received an email the night before saying we would not be able to park at the hotel and had to pay for off site parking. Our rooms were also at opposite ends of the floor without notification!

I picked this hotel because it was on the same block as the theater we were going to see a show at. The hotel was very clean and nice, the valet parking was a treat. It has great restaurants right next door. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was very nice too. Everything very convenient. I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Stamford.

Hotel itself is nice. Newly refurbished room. Road leading to property is under construction so it was difficult to get to. Only valet parking available. Was double charged for parking. The desk clerk took care of that very easily. Noise on the street around the hotel was very loud late at night and we were on the highest floor. Not necessarily the fault of the hotel, but guests were very loud in hallways at 2am.
