Appliances were poorly maintained. A significant gas leak from the stove occured which was noticeable from the corridor outside the room causing the staff to come to the room and fix it. Staff was responsive.

The staff was friendly, however the condition of the room could use drastic improvements. The carpeting was very warn. The tub had rust. There was what looked like a mouse trap in the corner in the living room. They didnt provide dishwashing liquid or paper towels for the kitchen area.

This hotel should not be listed on the site. The rooms were very outdated and rundown. The lobby area can full you because the rest of the hotel is not in the same condition as the lobby. I knew I was going to be in for an experience when I got on the elevator from the garage and there was no scan-your-key thing to get the elevator moving. It just went straight from the garage to my floor. Also, the garage had all the random junk stored in it. And what totally did it for me is when I saw the mouse trap hidden behind the bathroom trash can.

It was a very large room that fit 3 adults and 3 kids easy. The kitchen was perfect size to move around. The place was perfect clean we had a whirlpool in the bathroom which was large and stocked with soap and shampoo in big bottles. Linen was clean. Just an exceptional staff!

The hotel apparently was purchased last year and is slowly being remodeled, however, every cabinet door I opened in our room practically fell off the hinges. The kitchen in our room had cooking utensils, one pot, one pan. No mixing bowls about half the silverware, no way to wash dishes.. It was really disappointing. However, on a good note, the staff was amazingly kind and apologetic but did not have a way to really fix any of the issues. Hopefully if we stay there again, we can be put in one of the rooms that have already been renovated, maybe they are much better.

Many positives aspects to Stamford Suites. It was clean - especially the kitchen and, yes, there is a full kitchen with gas stove, full sized refrigerator (!) and even a small dishwasher. The suite was very roomy. Location in Stamford is great! The staff is very accommodating. I slept extremely well there-bed was quite comfortable. If you are staying for awhile and need storage there are multiple closets! Rooms are bright with natural light - important to me.

Yes, the hotel is a bit tired around the edges. The shower faucet was not brilliant. No coffee maker in room.

But the positives outweigh the minor inconveniences!

My husband has cancer, and we had to cancel our vacation to accommodate his tests. We live an hour+ away from Stamford, so we thought we'd spend the night there so we wouldn't have to get up early to drive to the testing site. And try to make a fun stay in the middle of this difficult time. So I was disappointed that it wasn't in better shape.

Plusses: the room was clean and spacious, the wifi and elevator worked. The sofa was hard but comfy enough, and we watched a couple of TV shows. We didn't use the kitchen, but the counters were damaged. Cosmetic, but it added to a negative overall impression. Minuses: The room smelled of the cleaner hotels use to mask the smell of smoke. The whole place did. The bathroom light was very dim. The shower had a handheld shower head and no door, so the water went everywhere. I cleaned it up. The water temperature was impossible to control and I nearly scalded myself. The toilet made scary noises after flushing, but nothing bad happened. The bedroom lights: 2 out of 5 worked: 1 worked after we jiggled the base and tightened the bulb, the two reading lights didn't work at all. One of them lacked a bulb. The bed was very uncomfortable. Mattress too hard, pillows too soft. I'm a mess of aches today. Breakfast was continental, serve yourself. Your choice of carb, plus coffee, tea, and milk.

The bathroom had only two small hand towels and 2 medium sized bath towels. Breakfast was the worst.
First day the bread tasted moldy, second day there was nothing left for breakfast at 8:25 am

The apartment has a kitchen with basic utensils. The property cleaning staff did not asked me to clean suite unfortunately dropped my computer and broke screen. RVFV once again is involved as well as Roxanna Guevara.

A Literal Nightmare

SIMPLY HORRIFIC, a NIGHTMARE! To begin with had I seen the room before I checked in (and paid your quoted rate + a surprise nonrefundable $100 deposit demanded at the arrival) my husband and I would have immediately gone elsewhere!!! The room and furnishings were all old and used far beyond normal wear and tear!!! There wear varied stains (black, red, yellow) on the floors and carpet! There were complete areas of the carpet that were raveled completely across the room. The plumbing in the bathroom stool ran continuously. There was white powder around the closet floor corners which was possibly some kind of disinfectant or chemical. And each time we left and returned to the room we would have to get a new key because the keys would not hold data. There was even a huge place in the hallway floor with broken tiles due to the uneven floor. The elevators were dirty and filthy. The interior room photos provided online certainly do not match the reality. I registered my complaint with management and even showed them all the photos I had taken and they agreed. Management shared that they were under new ownership and was willing to make an adjustment BUT claimed they could not because we had booked the stay online though your service.

This property should not be offered under your banner. We have used your service previously and have been completely satisfied. This seriously hinders our confidence in sharing or booking future rentals through your service!

Not good. Not horrific.

Not good. Old. Closet doors broken and wouldn’t close. Kinda grungy. Almost impossible to dead bolt the main room door. No ice machine on site. Beds very uncomfortable. Lumpy and over used. Linens clean though. Won’t go back.

Within an hour of check in we were not comfortable, the elevator did not feel stable, sheets were dirty, the pictures on the site are old- nothing looks the same, it is very run down and dirty. We only felt secure in the building because the police station was right next door. We contacted the “24” hour costumer service and lost connection 3 times- we requested a refund so we could check out and leave- the response was not supportive. We asked for a supervisor and after being put on hold was told they would call us back in 24 hrs.

The suite we ended up in was old and worn... The curtains were moth eaten, the toilet was cracked, and the garbage disposal reeked of old food.

There were goldfish crackers under the pull out couch and though there were three of us staying in the room the pull out was not made up. (We did request it)

Getting extra towels, pillows and sheets was a project and we were given only one extra even though we asked for more.

The gentlemen who manned the desk was rude to me and other customers.

Breakfast was a disappointment with limited options and running out of most of the food.

The parking garage was creepy and had low clearance, with some areas inaccessible due to furniture storage. It also was difficult to pull into both the garage and to the spaces because they were so cramped.

No coffee and they lied to me.

When I booked I accidentally clicked twice. I immediately contacted the hotel and when I checked in they said they had fixed it but two charges appeared on my credit card. I then tried to contact them but they didn’t answer the phone. Hotels.com tried but they said “no refunds”. I had to contest it with my credit card company.
When I came down for coffee there was none. They said it would be “20 minutes” for coffee. Half an hour later someone shows up with two cans of “chock full o’ nuts” (not coffee) then it took another half hour to brew.
The room was clean but I cannot recommend staying here.
