The staff was friendly and helpful with everything we needed. We had a two bedroom suite, it was clean, spacious, comfortable and peaceful. The beds were so comfortable we slept peacefully and woke up feeling energized. The hotel shuttle was perfect for getting around in the area. We will definitely come back the next time we visit our friends at SUNY Purchase.

Staff at the front desk was great. They were very accommodating and friendly. The room itself was not great. When we walked into the room there was water leaking from the ceiling. Maintenance came to fix it but it took over half an hour. The room was hot. We couldn’t sleep the first night because it was 80 degrees!! Maintenance came but just said it overheated so he opened a window. We had to leave for the day. When we came back our first level room still had the window wide open! Anyone could have broken into our room while we were gone! Overall I would not stay here again.

The breakfasts was equal to any brunch restaurant.
We were in town from GA for my son’s grad school auditions and if he chooses the school near White Plains, I will stay at Hyatt House every visit.

I booked a king suite and on arrival the room had to be changed to a queen accessible room, which I totally understand, but the accessible room was honestly just not as nice as the other rooms at this hotel and there was no difference in price for a queen vs a king. Also, my other friends got upgraded rooms to king suites so it just didn’t really masks total sense.

To my surprise even the shampoo and conditioner were wonderful, I am hispanic left my hair soft and shinny! Our only dislike and discomfort were the pillows, they're flat and almost nothing in them and with the bed being very firm the pillow is needed.

At check in we were told one of the 2 elevators was not working so we had to park at the other end of the hotel from our room and walk it's entire length with our luggage. As we neared our room we saw a maintenance employee and asked about the elevator. He told us that it had been repaired hours earlier. I suggested that he inform the front desk. Never apologized or offered to help us.
We got to our room and unpacked. I used the toilet and the water circled the bowl without flushing. Maintenance came, plunged the toilet and said not to use too much paper. Really???
Next morning, same problem with the toilet, Same Maintenance person with a snake.
A few hours later, as we got ready to go to our appointment, again the same problem with the toilet not flushing.
I called the front desk and asked to move rooms. We were told to pack up everything and go down to the lobby to change rooms. I repeated what the front desk just told me not believing that no assistance or accommodation was offered... and was told, 'You're not listening to me. You need to pack up everything and come down to the front desk.' Alrighty then, great customer service!
We pack & move everything to the lobby get our key, go up to the second room... key does not work. I go back to the lobby. They redo the key. Go back up. Still not working. Back to lobby. Operations manager there. Explain the issue. He sends us up with staff to unlock the room and tells us he will bring up the keys later.
