Amazing place for a stay. The staff were so nice and accodomating and even gave my children attention to keep them happy. Will definately be back when in madrid. Rooms were absolutely spotless and big in size for our family.

We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children). We had booked a family room as we always do everywhere we sleep.
This time, and first time ever, we were not allowed to check in as the children were too old (10y,8y,6y) and it was not meeting their policies and were asked to book three rooms.
We were forced to look for a different accomodation at 21:30 in thr evening and did not get any refund.
The lack of empathy of the hotel staff competely opposes their slogan of being the best hotel for families.

Stay was just to sleep a few hours before a flight, but I can say that this property deserved a longer stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable with a very HUGE bathroom. The front desk lady was very welcoming, professional and friendly. I would stay here again without question.

Great hotel on outskirts of Madrid

The hotel room was very clean, had an iron and board, tea/ coffee making and a fridge. The bed was very comfy. Towels and linen changed daily with complimentary toiletries. The curtains were blackout, so light did not disturb us. The breakfast was brilliant with a special mention to Hector who kept the breakfast area clean, tidy and refreshed and was so polite and helpful. Our only one problem was the key card for our room. If kept near to a mobile phone it wiped the details off so it wouldn't work. It did this about four times, even though we were really careful with them. Reception replaced them without any fuss, but I've never experienced this before.

I had my tranfer to china in spain, so I look for a hotel that could provide mw with free shuttle bus from the airpot to the hotel, When I arrive at the aiport I call the hotel and the front desk lady told that shuttle was only on request , so it was open I didnt have time to booking before and them when I arrive at the front desk and I want to book for the next day, the person in front desk told it was only avaible from monday to friday and in the website and in orbitz they didnt put this I was so angry I just took a 10 hours flight and only choose this hotel becuase of the shuttle bus, I didnt like that on the page it say free shuttle and them when I arrive at the property is something different and I was looking in orbitz and they didnt mention this at all, and them the staff in that hour was super rude, in a holiday inn that so pay a lot to stay and be comfortable had the worst experience, the stuff lady was tell me you can say whatever you want but we can not provide shuttle on the weeked , even do it false advertising later on the told that none holiday in provided shuttle , I couldnt no be more angry I stay in several during my business trip and I can really say when they said they have , they do have and and she was yes in american but here no.... worst staff ever and false advertising the hotel is not even near the airport . I could had choosen another near and save the money from the taxi and this really bad experience .. not recommend this hotel at all .

Paper thin walls makes sleep difficult as you hear everything from both walls. Housekeeping staff is very noisy starting at 8 am and all day. Yelling in the hallways, banging doors and equipment, cell phones ringing and loud calls.

Don’t stay here!

I have sent in a couple of email comments already. Staff was rude in checking in and also on checking out. No food was available since we were there on a weekend. The complementary breakfast and servers were the only bright spot in this dismal hotel. Not worthy of the name of Holiday Inn. Truly disappointing. But we will be returning to Madrid just not to his hotel.

Only 2 or 3 people in the hole hotel speaks English and the ones who don’t make no effort to help you.
It states there is 24 ice or special room service and it’s a lie. It’s states the restaurant closes at 11 and at 10:30 no one will help you

Very good hotel, clean and tidy, bed, room and bathroom all excellent. Breakfast adequate. Staff all very courteous.
Hotel is in a business district, walk to metro about ten minutes then a 25 minute ride into centre of Madrid. Taxi from centre of Madrid to the hotel is about E25.
Because it is in a business district with nothing much around it, the hotel lacks atmosphere. Very good hotel overall especially if doing business in that area.

This hotel is located outside of the city and tends to attract business guests rather than tourists. Therefore the local area doesn't have much to offer in terms of restaurants/entertainment. The hotel is fairly basic but offers a clean presentable room and a welcome stay. I would use it again on future business trips

Decor was a bit shabby but the room was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was also very big with a bath and a large shower. Although kids eat free, then restaurant did not open until 8:00 which was too late for our boys. After some debate, we were able to order room service and although the ordering process was slow, the food was delivered promptly and was delicious.

Clean and Professional Hotel

We booked this hotel for business reasons and so didn't need it to be particularly close to the centre of Madrid. If you are hoping to be near the centre of the city then this hotel isn't for you - it took us 30mins+ to get the metro (which is a reasonable walk away) into the centre for dinner. However, it had everything that we needed, the room was clean and everything was where it should be. The staff were very helpful and polite and the restaurant was pleasant.

Buyer Beware!

I needed one night by Madrid airport during connecting flights back to the US.

This hotel will come up as a hotel close to Madrid Airport – perfect for a connection right? Wrong!!! Hotels.com states “Free airport shuttle” which turns out to be “Free airport shuttle during limited hours”. The hours are not defined. Once you’ve booked you’ll learn its Monday through Friday! And for Friday specifically, not at 9pm the time I arrived. You won’t learn this until after you’ve booked and can’t get cancel!

This hotel is a good 25 minutes away from the airport and it will cost you 30E each way (more than the cost of the room!!) Sure, the room and nice and when your booking you think wow, what a deal for a Holiday Inn but the listing is beyond deceptive.

The AC in the room is set and the fuse box locked so you’ll also sweat to death and the rest aunt closes early, as does the cafeteria so good luck if you’re arriving late.

The staff is great, rooms are clean and modern but all negated by the added transportation costs that if you knew of you would not have booked to begin with.

Fantastic hotel with lovely staff

Super lovely time! The staff especially at the bar are the best! Food is fabulous. Breakfast is scrumptious. The neighbourhood is peaceful & safe. The only downside was the EXTRA bed as it wasn't the most comfortable.

I was staying on this hotel on business trip. Access from airport was very good, walking distance to location I needed.I surrounding enough restaurants, small shops. Only complain I have is that airport shuttle is available only on working days, not on weekends and bank holidays, and this information is not on the hotel webpage.
Rooms are spacious, quiet location, clean. Breakfast very nice but can be crowded early morning.

Executive room on the 6th floor - pretty much had what you would expect from that class of room - space, comfy bed, sofa, work table, coffee, minibar, etc. Only surprise was that Wifi was not secured, it is open, pick the network and you are online, no need for password or name & room number. Room service was delivered well within promised timeline (20 min).

No shuttle. AC not cold enough. TV volume limited.

Room was clean but the AC was not cold no matter the setting. The TV volume was preset and could not be adjusted upward. Noise in the hall was easily heard as well as outside. Was told no shuttle to airport even though this is why I reserved this hotel.
Still 27 euros to airport. It would have been 30 to downtown. Would not do this one again.

Hotel said they have airport shuttle, when I arrived and called the hotel front desk said they don't do shuttle on weekends. And must take either a taxi or train. Taxi is 20 to 30 minutes ride train is 45 minutes and must change 3 times . I wont recommend it . Plus nothing close by. New side of town. Nothing to do except few bars like 2 blocks away.

This hotel advertises it is close to airport with complimentary transportation.
Hotel is nowhere close to airport and I think my prior stay in old downtown Madrid was closer to airport than this hotel.
Complimentary transportation needs to be arranged days in advance and was not available for return to airport adding another 37 euro taxi cost to stay.
Restaurant is only open odd hours and is way overpriced (at least 2 or 3 times what you would pay in tourist areas).
Hotel is in the middle of nowhere so not even worth going out and taking a walk to explore.
In short, I would not recommend this hotel unless you have a business need to get people together in one place and restrict them to hotel for meetings. I would have much rather spent a few extra dollars and stayed in old Madrid one extra night before departing Europe.

The hotel was great. The staff were extemely nice. The location was a little different. There's nothing to do around there. There were restaurants about 2 blocks from the hotel. That was nice. They advertised as having a free shuttle to snd from the hotel.
We arrived at the airport about 9:30 am. By the time we figured out that we had to call for a shuttle it was a little after 10am. Shuttle stopped running at 10am and we had to wait until 12:30pm before the van would come for us. They sent a woman thst didn't seem at all familia with the van or pick up. She didn't help with luggage or anything.
when we tried to make reservations for the shuttle, the person at the hotel said the shuttle didn't run on the weekend and that we had to catch a cab. For 10 minutes away the cab charged us $37.5 Euros. That equalled $53.00 US dollars. We made our hotel selection based on the shuttle. Very disappointed about the shuttle. No swimming pool or hot tub.the exercise room very tiny in a basement that's hard to find.
Other than that, the hotel itself was nice.

Nice Hotel and Great Service

The hotel is located within a short work from the metro station las tablas with a direct line to plaza de espana. Journey time takes about 40 minutes in total. The area around the hotel is buzzing during the week with great restuarants and bars, but quiet during the weekend. Also a supermarket a short walk from hotel. The hotel service is excellent and my room was very comfortable with walk in shower. Overall I would give this hotel 5 stars but the wifi strength was quite poor (seems common issue for Spanish hotels!) and the english speaking TV channels didn't work. It's a good hotel for the price for a weekend stay in Madrid, if you dont mind using public transport to get in and out to Old Madrid.
