The pool was clean and looked well maintained. All positives stop there. There was a lot of mold and rust throughout both rooms we had. The bathroom had rust lines on the corners so bad all the paint had fallen off. Breakfast was toast, oatmeal, eggs, sausage and stale cereal. The couch in each room was very old and needed replacing. The air didn’t work at all in one room(78 degrees all night) and barely worked in the other (73 degrees). We opened the windows to allow cooler air in and the screens on the 3rd floor windows were ripped so you could just reach right out. There were marks, stains and scuffs all over the walls. Food spilled down the walls, mold on the walls, deep gashes on the walls. Needs wall repair badly. The 3rd floor smelled like weed. We stay in St. Mary’s 4 times a year and this place is going on our “do not rebook” list. Stay at the best western a couple doors down - so much better.

The room was clean, the shower wasn't super clean but i wear shower shoes anyways. I liked that the room was spacious and had a kitchen, living room, bedroom with 2 queen beds and bathroom with large walk in shower. My moms room had a smaller shower than ours and i booked them together. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and breakfast was decent.

This was a wonderful stay. Room was clean and comfortable. The area was safe and convenient for our purposes. Staff could not have been nicer and there wasn't a staff person we encountered that wasn't friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here in the future.

We booked a suite room with Jetted tub (2 queen beds) at Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Kingsland through Expedia like 5 weeks prior to our actual staying dates.
We were on our way there and gave a call to the hotel to let them know what time we would be there. The front desk lady said that our room was no longer available due to it wasn’t booked through them but third party Expedia. She said she would provide us a regular 2 double bed room. Can you imagine the hotel was quiet for whole 5 weeks and when we call they say something like that on the last day, last minute? Fine, we got there, I would never think that a hotel room could be that disgusting, smelly, dirty, old blood stains on the bed sheets (Room 306). I took pictures of everything in the room. Shame on Hawthorn and Wyndham managements.

The bed was comfortable. That’s the only thing I can say. Furniture and carpeting dated back to 1990s. The included breakfast was not at all what we were promised. We were not able to set our own temperature in the room and it was very hot during the night. The TV did not work when we got in our room, but the desk guy came up and fixed it.

Roach in the room. Private hair left on toilet and didn’t look clean. Cabinets had some poop nuggets from some unknown creature. We were booked in to a room on the 3rd floor - AND THE ELEVATOR BROKE AFTER WE BROUGHT UP OUR LUGGAGE.

When my husband asked the front desk man if it was going to be fixed, he was told no.

We couldn’t stay in the room or hotel because of the insects, as we have a baby. So my saint of a husband spent 2 HOURS MOVING OUR LUGGAGE AND ITEMS FROM THE ROOM DOWN THREE FLIGHTS OF STAIRS SO WE COULD GO TO A DIFFERENT HOTEL.

Stay at this hotel at your own peril!

No frills extended stay.
Kitchen was absolutelt bare bones: no glasses, no sponge or cloth for doing dishes (dishwasher, but no detergent).
Bed wascomfortabke, and room was clean.
Guest laundry was closed / needed repairs, which i only found out when i asked.
Property is at the back of a cluster of hotels, away from road and quiet.
No chair or desk/ workspace.

The room was very dirty! Bathroom very gross/dirty!!! We had a broken mirror door in the bedroom which was hazardous with us having a special needs child! Our bed sheets had fresh blood stain on it! Went downstairs to get new sheets for me to change myself!! Put a complain at the front desk but didn’t even receive a call from the manager. Which I had ask to speak to and was inform she wasn’t available.. had such an awful experience! Would never want to stay at this hotel chain ever!!!

This hotel was very dirty. My bathroom had hair in the tub. We paid extra for the jet tub and couldn’t use it because the jets were dirty and there was an old ring as though it needed to be refurbished. Worst stay I’ve ever experienced. It almost made me cancel my membership with it being a nonrefundable hotel

There was a large bug in the bathroom, similar to a cricket, but brown. The bathroom floor was sticky, and when wiped with a towel, came away black. The bathroom sink was completely cracked in half. Room 220. Mentioned the first 2 to staff. Not sure it was urgent to them.

First walked into room and there was a terrible smell. Immediately saw a dead roach or as front desk said it was a palmetto bug. There was large stain on the couch no way we were sitting on it. We had a problem figuring out the shower called front desk to show us. Open curtain there was a brown cockroach in tub the desk clerk didn't even try to remove the live roach. (This was not a palmetto bug). We first arrived there was several 50.00 charges added on to credit card. We had no where else to go. We slept with all the lights on to avoid any roaches running around. It was the worst place we have ever stayed at. We should get a full refund. I have pictures of the bugs.

I stayed in this hotel for a week. I was not told that on a weekly basis, there was only room service once a week. No clean towels, toilet paper,or any other necessities. No trash pick up. Beds were changed one time in the 7 days. When asking why, the young man at the night desk, pretty much said, too bad and gave us a roll of toilet paper. He was very snotty, but then we were interrupting his time with a friend. All other staff were very pleasant and helpful. Shower light was full of mold, had 2 cockroaches in bathroom. All together was a very poor stay.

OK stay for the price. The advertisement said that we would have a jetted tub in our room. The jets did not work. Every morning when we asked for towels, the hotel said they didn't have any that they had to finish laundry before we could get more. While our stay was in November, the first three days we were there the temps were in the 70's, my kids wanted to swim but however couldn't due to the pool was closed due to a phone line issue. Upon getting home the hotel charged me 40.00 for worn out sheets my kids had spilled fruit punch on. The fruit punch could have washed out, but I dont think they tried. All these issues in one stay reflect the hotel is poorly managed but the staff was friendly.

The mattress had a lot of crumbs on it and it was not clean. There was an oreo sitting on the floor in the corner of the living room area. The handle on the refrigerator was filthy. I was lucky to have Lysol wipes to clean it. Also, there was a sign in the bathroom to leave towels on the floor if we wanted clean ones. After the second day, I layed some towels on the floor to replace and no one came in to replace them nor empty the garbage cans. I suppose they didn't have enough help. Outside there was a large dumpster without a lid (like the ones you use when you are renovating your home) that was full past the brim of garbage bags. The kitchen ran out of bacon and there was no breakfast meat available. I will say, the lady working the breakfast area was very nice and tried to keep the breakfast fresh and full as possible.

Ok well I almost passed this property up and didn’t stay there , but I am ABSOLUTELY so grateful and happy I decided to stay there. I will say I used Expedia to book my reservation from the very beginning and that was the WORSE mistake of my life . It was supposed to be for 2 nights and they only did it for one and the next morning bin finding out we only was reserved for 1 night so I had to contact Expedia and they couldn’t do anything at all and they were absolutely no help to me and so we had to end up making another reservation for one more night same hotel and guess what the Expedia rep freaking booked a reservation for me at a completely different hotel and they refused to switch it to the one I was already at . Every single staff member at this property was ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! Especially the African American woman who worked the front desk (I didn’t catch her name ) she had I think like purple hair she was so freaking nice and understanding and she let us stay on the property and swim and even heat our lunch up and the other lady she was a housekeeper and she had short hair and was ABSOLUTELY amazing to us as well and I cannot forget the Caucasian woman who worked 2nd shift and has dark black hair ..all of them ladies were so amazing and I’ll never forget how nice they were to me and my daughter and helped us so much ..I hope they never go anywhere and they really need a raise bc they def go over and beyond for their guest and they didn’t even hesitate to do so!

The 1st night The people above us were super loud and throwing rocks at our window ( our room was rightby the putt putt golf). When we told the front desk they called. But nothing changed and nothing was done. It was like that until after midnight. The 2nd night was the same. Went to the front desk the guy called the room and said the people in 127 (our room) said you are being too loud. That could have potentially been a safety issue our room number shouldhave never been mentioned. The hot tub did not work. We kept having to get new key card for our room. We got locked in the pool area. Because the gates were locked and the door lock on the door was broke so you couldnt use a key card to get in. The lady doing breakfast was nodding off and taking forever to get food out. Kiddos enjoyed the pool though. We stayed a total of 3 nights 2 paid for at the hotel. The other booked through Expedia as the hotel wouldn't honor the price. Very disappointed with our stay. We had no choice as our house was being sprayed for insects. We also didn't know that the family above was staying the 2nd night.

The little apartment appeared to be well set up with living area, full kitchen, bath and bedroom. However, neither phone worked at all and even though I reported it nothing changed. There was no remote for the TV in the living area which limited the usefulness of a pleasant room. The bed was very lumpy and the door key system failed completely so that I needed to spend my last morning out the of room so I left earlier than intended. I won't stay here again.

The rooms are great for families with the additional sitting area with couch and tv and kitchenette. We were not expecting either so we were pleasantly surprised. Great check-in service. Spacious rooms. AC was/is limited. Room is somewhat stuffy. Fitness Center was 93 degrees with no working AC, while hot tub outside was completely broken. Breakfast selections were excellent!
