The price was right for what I needed a clean bed and a hot shower.Toilet paper holder was missing .Bathroom fan did not work and there was a plastic bag covering the smoke detector.Young lady at the front desk Karen was the best.Very friendly assisted me on directions and always had a smile for me.

While the staff was very nice, the air conditioner in the room (#116) did not work properly, the microwave didn't work either, and they only had one luggage cart in the whole hotel. While we were tired of driving all day, we were too tired to ask for another room

The only good thing about this hotel was the clerk who checked me in. I stayed in the 2nd floor and the entire floor smelled old and musty. I got a room with a dbl bed and only 3 pillows. The bathroom hand towels were stained yellow, had mild growing above the bathroom shower. There was no lock on the bathroom door ans an exhaust fan that looked like it was going to fall at any minute.
The worst was when a roach crawled across my friends bed and we saw another one crawling on the wall.

Ok for the price. We booked through a dot com then the front desk guy said that there was a $5 cleaning fee. But the bathroom floor was not clean. Smoke detector was disconnected and lying on a shelf across the room. ( OSHA) violation.

The beds were fine. The bathroom was typical. The A/C was a wall unit that did not cool. It just circulated air, which was fine because it's still spring but I would imagine come summertime it would be unbearable. It did have a large size refrigerator but the TV had screen burn and it was difficult to watch with the lights on. The biggest turnoff for my family was the roaches. They weren't very big but there were quite a few. I didn't expect much for the price we paid. I'm in construction and have stayed in worse but my family was not thrilled. If you need a place to stay for cheap, this'll do!

The staff was nice. The hotel was old and not kept well. The room was dirty, the towels were dirty, and the blanket/sheets were dirty. Very disappointed would not stay here again. Thankfully it was a stopover for one night. Sorry about the review but it is what it is!

Parking was easy. It felt safe. But a lot of things were disappointing. The floors were sticky. You could see daylight around the AC unit. Like a one inch gap! The tv didn’t work. The towels were super thin and cheap and old. The lady at the check-in desk was really nice. And the decor was cute. Like they tried to do a refresh a few years ago. But the sticky surfaces, weird smells and drafts to the outdoors were off-putting. I wanted to leave a totally positive review but I just can't.

Worst hotel i ever stayed at and i only stayed 15 minutes. Dirty no heat tv didn't work bug droppings.I checked out and went to another hotel. Was offered 25% off my next stay I wouldn't stay if they paid me. Motel 6 corporate office would do nothing.

I had a comfortable stay. The place is a little aged but it was worth the price. A light fixture cover fell off after I walked in the room. No one was hurt, but it did make my heart skip a beat.
All in all not a bad place close to Cumberland Island

Parking was fine, service was fine, but we had no access to shower water because the shower handle was broken off and sitting on the sink counter. We would've need pliers to get the water running. We were just looking for a place to crash for the night, otherwise, we would've demanded another room. It would be fair to get the original 1 person rate that I thought we were being charged given that situation.

This place was a dump. Broken elevstor, cockroaches, dirty bathroom. Very rude and way less than helpful employee at the desk. Broken vending machines.and when i first arrived and explained neiher one of us could use the stairs and asked for refund he refused.

The hallway smelled like wet dogs, the room smelled like cigarettes and mold, the air condition smelled worse, the tub had mold around it and the wall, and I was bitten by bed bugs, those sheets were Not clean, oh and a lot of suspicious looking holes in the bathroom and in the wall pointing to the bed. I slept sitting up, thank God I only booked 1 night.

Everything was lovely. I had a reservation at the Motel 6 across the street from this property. The woman in there spoke to me with complete disrespect., as if I were a disappointing teenager. I gave her a small piece of mind and came to your place.

Second room door doesn’t lock when you walk out . You literally can come back after swiping the key the first time . Hours later and just push you door open ..stains on the toilets and bathroom wall sheets appeared to be clean but stained I sprayed the room full of bug spray trying to feel a little comfortable.. not working at all slept terrible I was better off sleeping in my box truck on the side of the road. Im demanding a refund

Back door I was told to use was propped open with a towel. Door did not look capable of locking and had no mechanism to use card key. Room smelled terribly and the AC did not work. Room temp was well over 80. Motel was run down and I refused to stay here. Desk clerk was polite, but refused refund.

The lobby was air conditioned, but the rest of the building felt like an oven. Our individual room AC's were not turned on when we arrived, and when turned on did not do much to fix the situation. One of the toilets was broken, and the lobby and hallways smelled like smoke. Other guests were banging on walls and doors and yelling to the point that it scared my children. The front desk offered us another set of rooms, but these were no better. They then refused to cooperate with us and became angry when we said we couldn't stay.

Not sure if these reviews are paid for, but DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is disgusting, rusty, and just unsafe. The facilities are so old and rusted, with the bathroom being unsanitary. I stood in one spot and showered for 1 minute. I felt more dirty after the shower. My husband refused to shower because it was so gross. We saw a small plate with drugs or some black liquid in the hallway and heard women yelling in the room. People who lived there were watching us walk into the hotel, making us feel very uneasy. Run, run fast, do not stay here.

When I first walked into the lobby I thought I was walking into an oven. After asking I was assured the AC in the room was working. The room I was given the AC was not working. After being placed in a different room it was a little bit cooler. With my fan I always travel with it made the room bearable. The staff were so nice and the hotel is outdated.

Good location. Nice looking room. My wife and I were quiet in bed all night and yet the guest in the room below us was banging on their roof/our floor all night and all morning long. When I asked the manager to address it he said the guest denied making noises and he did not say or do anything else. Absolutely horrible.

The room had a damp smell, the AC could not keep the room cold. The bathroom was gross- dirty door, ceiling had something stuck on it and the sprayer for the tub was green. The guy at the front desk was hard to understand and not very inviting or friendly. We will look for another hotel next time.

Check in was friendly and informative; however the beds were a bit to soft, walls and hallways are not sound proof. Was awaken to two different arguments and banging on doors in the very early morning hours (3:33 am and again at 5:20 am.) Finally able to doze off again only to awoken by the \"cleaning crew\" at 8am who proceeded to stomp back and forth for the next hour. Did not take a shower here as it is quite evident that the showers are never scrubbed clean...seems to be a theme for hotels in this area. Not a very resting stay, which is all I really wanted.
