The front desk staff were excellent. We did not like that we did not get housekeeping until Friday, the day before we were checking out.
Dana
Smooth check in, helpful. Rooms were very clean and nice. Great Experience.

Breakfast was biscuits and gravy and eggs. Nothing fancy.

Breakfast was sub -par (very limited choices), no tea available, no stopper in bathroom sink, and no alarm clock.

For 1, I got a room with 2 beds and told them I had children, the bathroom was a death trap for my toddler. The tub was so slick I had to go buy bath mats to put in it. The built in shower METAL fold down chair was also extremely dangerous. There was also a sharp spot in the center of the tub floor that cut my babys foot. And its just part of the tub. There were all kinds of spots on the blankets, I went and bought blanket sets for the beds. The wifi was HORRIBLE, I evem paid for the \"better\" connection & it was no better. I ended up having to raise my Hotspot plan on my phone for us to have any way to even watch a movie.
And the pool didnt smell at all like chlorine which really worries me. I ran a pool cleaning company for a long time & when you cant smell chlorine at a pool that ISNT salt, thats usually a sign the chemicals are off. I chose this place to stay at because my husband and I previously rented a king bed room and it was great. We brought our family with us this time and was HIGHLY disappointed, especially after spending the kind of money we spent.

Everything was good breakfast could of been a little better.

Their wasn’t any breakfast
Angela
The hotel was in a convenient location for our visit to the area. The breakfast was convenient though the food options were limited and weren’t what I would usually eat (I like fruit and yogurt). We were at least able to get some coffee in the morning. The rooms had everything we needed though the toilet needed a little jiggle every time it was flushed and the shower rod required tightening to the wall. The included EV charging station was out of order which we brought to their attention. Staff were always very friendly and helpful!
Christine
Nice clean and quiet rooms with easy check in
Jeffrey
Real fast was the high spot. Stayed a week and never was cleaned. Limited towels.
Nina
Very clean, everything good, except breakfast very limited choices.
Michael
Minimalist decor. Clean and simple. Staff friendly and helpful. Only disappointment breakfast. Biscuits and a paste like sausage gravy. Love the availability of coffee 24/7
michael
I like the new concept! Finally, an appropriately priced option for the no frills traveler who doesn’t want to risk life, limb and/or mental or physical well being by having to venture into the abyss of run down or dangerous offerings associated with this lower price point. Well done Marriot!
Eric
Animal friendly for me is trouble!

John
Great price and beautiful clean rooms. The staff was fantastic and friendly.

Property was nice and clean. Breakfast was not much to talk about….. precooked omelets overcooked and dry, biscuits an gravy okay.

We would not return to this hotel. It , in noway, resembles the Marriott standards.

Ok for one night. The floor was dirty but to be fair, it seems that every motel / hotel I stay at can't seem to maintain clean floors. I so just wearing slippers.
The pool has a bird feces problem. I would not recommend getting in it.

Very welcoming staff at the front desk. Room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Nice to have a mini refrigerator and small microwave in the room. Definitely not a fancy looking hotel from the outside, but completely remodeled and a great place for a quick stay!
Dan
Breakfast was the worst i have ever had staying at a hotel . Almost no hot food and eggs were cold and left out too long , no waffle machine even and have them in lower end hotels when traveling.
I will not go there in my travels in the future, will find a hotel with a better quality of Breakfast even if its lower end hotel always thought Marriott hotels were better ..

The room was so excellent my Apple Watch camouflaged with the wood counter and I left but luckily management has it and said they would hold on to it until Jan 2
Mary
The check in clerk was GREAT. This property has been refurbished. All new paint but poor workmen ship. The rooms are bare. One wall decoration out of four walls. The toilet seat is loose. Yu can't plug the hairdryer in because the plugs does not match the outlets. The fan in the bathroom did not work. For the money I would not recomend this place
Bea
Room was very nice and clean, walter was very helpfull, only complaint need a ice machine on bottem floor, and a small night light in room.
Chris
Close to I95 and close to the beach
New ownership lots of construction but done well. Pool was great. Dena and the night guy(starts with T) were very helpful. New coffee machine was the best hotel coffee ever.
Desmond
Staff was not friendly
Denise
Property suffices for a quick overnight stay. Old and run down. Just bought by Marriott, improvements are like lipstick on a pig, just covering up rather than actual remodel. Smells old and has a damp feeling. Clothes stunk and had to be washed just from being exposed to the smell in the room.
John
Recently remodeled, with an EV charger to boot! Highly recommend.
Gary
When I arrived, we were given a dirty room. Staff did make corrections.
Hagai
Property is under renovation and we did not know it, we paid full price to be in a construction zone

Evening check in was courteous and great! The room was ok, while somewhat clean, it needs maintenance and upkeep. Bathroom needs work.

We had roaches in our room and no one came in to clean up during our 4 day stay. Couldn’t even get extra towels

We were not told motel under construction. Lots of noise. We should get credit for another stay somewhere. We had to step over uneven flooring.

In today's world of trying to provide an exceptional service to guests by making sure properties are clean, upgraded, and have a knowledgeable staff, this property fails in all three areas.
I understand that the property was undergoing a minor PIP (or just a select few rooms), but drywall dust was pretty abundant. The next two fall into the same category as the TV and channel selection was embarrassing. I know of no property I have stayed in recently (let's say, 4 years) that has Direct TV. We had NO local channels...NONE. Furthermore, we could not connect the TV to the internet to try and use our streaming channel(s) which is an option. No explanation given by front desk, no solution.
To top it off, the EXIT door at the end of the hallway does not shut on its own. I had to pull the door shut to latch it at night. This I did on my own accord since the house a few feet down the street looks like a drug house that has been shut down by the City of Yulee. Funny, it's also owner by the same person who owns the Comfort Inn.
Needless to say, I will not be staying at this property again.

The hotel was easy to get to and have quick food places to grab some food from. The only issues I had was we were having issues with our tv. We had to switch the cable boxes and remotes out multiple times. We was able to turn on and off the tv but couldn’t change the channel. And one of our lights wasn’t working.
Michelle
Excellent customer service, would stay again!!

Clean and safe
Jerri
The hotel was under construction so the hall was pretty dirty. The noise wasn’t too bad and they offered to move us if it got too bad. The chair in the room was filthy but the rest of the hotel was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Michael
clean and comfortable room, and friendly staff.
Deborah
The air conditioner made such a racket all night
Katherine
Convenient from 95
Imani
Staff were very friendly. The room could have been a little cleaner. Overall for a quick stay it was suffice.
Joseph
Good & convenient place to stay
We used the hotel for a quick overnight stay on our way to North Carolina. The price was reasonable, and we had a large room with a comfortable bed. Use of the TV was baffling. It said YouTube was \"not available\", and it wasn't clear how to find channels to watch something. The breakfast buffet was good and the sitting area very nice.
Joseph
Always a good stay at this Comfort Inn . Staff are always friendly and helpful. Always plenty of breakfast with options . 24hr coffee in lobby . Close / walkable to fast food , and Publix plaza with food options.
Beth
This was a very nice hotel and was very clean and Eco friendly.
David
Room and bath were clean. The sshower head could have been setup differently.

Matthew was a great staff worker. He greeted us as we entered...was enthusiastic about being there and took care of looking after my older dog when he waa barking. He never presented a negative issue and solved all my issues. The next day, my wife and i left an item in the room. Nora took my address and said someone would mail it the next day. All around great service. We will stay there again.

Room wasn’t cleaned properly. Refrigerator was full of disgusting mold and old food. Had to switch it out with a fridge from another room. Overall it did the trick, I won’t be staying there again. Think I’ll try the Holiday Inn next door the next time I’m in town.

Beware of billing issues. Beware of lack of management and proper training for staff.
I am still trying to get my bill fixed 3 days later and have yet to hear from an owner or manager after repeated calls.
Dont expect a call back either. Each time i called i was asked to call them back instead of proper customer service standards of having a manager or supervisor return my call.
Very very unprofessional.
Staff was left without training and it probably was the start of all the billing issues.
Dirty and rundown main areas - but it is a roadside hotel so dont expect much.

Great for the price. Didn’t smell bad at all.

Stayed for 3 days. And got 2 different answers on the pool hrs . They were very friendly. And wished that they would have changed our sheets or reliaded our towels but they never asked or did it. We had to ask for towels everytime we needed them. And had to take care of our trash cuz it was piling up in our room. But other wise it was great.
Deborah
A nice clean motel. Staff pleasant & accommodating
Was a 2 night overstay to attend The 65th Fernandina Shrimp Festival. The price of the room was reasonable. The motel was very clean. The staff was very hospitable and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The pool looked very inviting, but we didn’t have time to use it!

Good sleep but needs attention to cleanliness
Beds were great, variety of pillow softness.
Quiet night.
Dreadfully under cleaned in rm corners and overall carpet. Also smelled of covered up smoke w/ some type of spray.
Towels could definitely be nicer than thin versions there. For $ 130 room rate I expected more. Most reviews indicated better than our room.
Nice little pool with a few teens enjoying.

This hotel is undergoing some updates. I woke up to someone plastering right outside my door. Didn’t really give me relaxing vacation vibes.

My first night was excellent. The assistant manager Monica was very helpful very kind and a pleasure to check in with the second night. I was moved to a room across from the laundry room although that was not an issue. I did have an issue with not having any hot water in the bathroom sink and the air conditioner did not work, that evening, I got back from my sister’s quite late and did not feel it was an option really to have maintenance come up to my room that late to try to get things working. I spoke with Monica in the morning and I was hoping for a discount on the second night but she said that I should have told someone when I came in at 11:30 PM. I was disappointed.
