We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the property was amazing. Aloft will definitely be my go to whenever me and my husband is in town.

The room is adequate for a 1 night stay, but I wouldn’t suggest any longer than that. My partner and I stayed for 2 days (we added on a day at the last minute to experience Jacksonville longer, and so we wouldn’t have to re-check into a different hotel). The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating with us adding on this extra day, so 5-stars to that. Where our disappointment came into play was the cleanliness of the hotel.. the downstairs communal areas were a bit worn down and had spots on the seats. Our bathroom was not clean at all. There were cracks in the wall, the floor was dirty (thank God for flip flops), and the shower doors looked Grimmey. The main floor was almost dirty, as our socks were a dark black color after we left the establishment, and the furniture had dust and grime over it. The AC unit was working optimally as well, but there was a smell of liquid in the air so I’m sure there was mold in the unit. The bed looked visually clean and it was very comfortable to sleep in, so that was good and it made the stay a lot more bearable. Other than this factor and the presence of so many shops in the area, I will NOT be staying here again.

I over enjoyed my stay! I was in desperate need of a mini vacation as life has truly been lifing and my stress levels have been through the roof. Aloft hit the spot in so many ways.. Quiet, comfortable and a home away from home... I certainly will be back!
Prentice Don
Had a wonderful stay. Room was excellent and staff was very courteous
Karen
Nice room. Thoughtful to add bottled water for coffee. Everything clean. Comfortable bed.
Nora
Hotel is pet friendly and we were put in a room right next to a dog that we could hear barking down the hallway when we checked in at 11:30pm. We immediately went back down to the front desk and requested another room. Those without animals should not be on the same floor as someone with animals.
Lamont
No complaint! I enjoy the stay.
Richard
Location was good but honestly expected more based upon reviews I read. What I didn’t like is that my wife had to remind of the dust that she took upon herself to wipe down around the window and counter. She also had to grab a broom from one of the house maids to sweep the bathroom floor
Shalonda
Enjoy staying with Aloft. The room and bathrooms are always clean.
Danelis
Excelente estancia, muy céntrico y personal muy atento. Lo único fue la piscina estuvo sucia durante la estadía.
Henry
The welcome at the desk was very informative and helpful after a very long day of traveling. Fresh coffee on-site enabled me to start my day feeling blessed. The gym facilities were excellent , with clean towels and water available. The decor inside the lobby area was extremely welcoming and the colors were vibrant. Being a disabled veteran and have traveled the world, the accommodations were above board.

Recently stayed at Aloft Jacksonville for a weekend getaway and had a great experience. The hotel was very clean, modern, and well-managed. You can definitely tell it’s a newer property because everything still feels fresh and well maintained compared to some of the older nearby hotels. Staff was professional, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
Amy
Staff were all amazing and friendly. Rooms were very modern and clean. Definitely recommend.

Hi. We initially had a room assigned on first floor room 105. But changed to 4th floor because we saw live roaches in room. Staff reassigned us right away and rest of stay was good. Love that you had bottled water for coffee machine.

Great stay for the value excellent location with lots of options nearby

The blinds were patched with some strapping tape and unusable. They actually had a sign taped to the table, asking you not to adjust them because they needed to be repaired. Therefore, I do not believe we should’ve even been rented this room. Being unable to raise the blinds made it a miserable night The table legs were almost falling off the handle on the bathroom was loose. I really feel like that I should be reimbursed for portion of this rental because it was definitely not meeting a standard. This is the second time through Expedia. This is occurred to me. It makes me question whether to continue using Expedia.

The bathroom/shower was not up to proper cleaning standards. I felt I needed sandles on to take a shower.
James

nice stay
Carole
The beds were comfortable, the pillows were numerous and soft. Great water pressure in the shower and good size towels that were nice and absorbent. Good location to airport with manny places to eat nearby. One negative is no free breakfast.

For me, the lobby was great! But once I stepped out the elevator, the hallways felt old and worn. It was a little gloomy as well. The carpet was definitely in need of replacement. The lighting in the bathroom area and shower is not bright enough and the shower head needs replacing. Also there is nowhere to put your own soap in the shower. I’m not using those ones hanging in the shower…

The rooms were nice and they were clean the only 3 issues were: there are no microwaves in the rooms, you had to go all the way down to the lobby for ice, and the side railings of the bed will KILL your shins so BEWARE!! Great location has a lot of restaurants in the area, shopping within walking distance, and 8 mins from the airport, the staff was extremely friendly, would stay again if we ever go back to Jacksonville.
Gregory
The room was clean. The staff was excellent. They have a convenient airport shuttle.

I was given ADA/Handi cap room .Blinds are torn and there was a note on the desk \"Blinds do not work. Sorry for the inconvenience\".
Requested room change and they didn't have any vacancy.
I contacted Expedia and Mariott and no help.

I had to wait for 45 minutes to check in due to no rooms not being ready. It was almost 5PM. Not cool after a cancelled flight.

1st room that was assigned to us was not cleaned after previous guests. Went back at the front desk and asked for another room. This one had the blinds all the way up and a message that thy are not working. We didn't plan to wake up early morning by the bright sun nor that we received any discounts. so went back and ask for a different room. All these with suitcases and a kid, not ok. The girl at ront desk didn’t show to care at all. In the morning there was a very polite guy at the checkout that seemed to care.

I have stayed here before when it was not \"in season.\" It was great. The fact that they do not charge for pets is incredible. I have not found a hotel that does not charge for pets, other than this one. That is a plus. They even gave me a little doggy bag with gifts for my dog when I checked in. However, this time was different. There was no gift for my dog and parking was an absolute nightmare as it was now \"in season.\" I also could not connect to the Internet which I needed for work. There was no one at the hotel who could help me. I was given a phone number to call however, after 45 minutes on hold, no one ever picked up. On a positive note, the hotel was basically clean even though I felt like the shower could have been scrubbed a little better. There are many nearby restaurants, including an adorable, freestanding ice cream shop. I was disappointed that free breakfast was not included. In fact there really wasn't much breakfast to pay for. There was free coffee and tea in the lobby. There is also a bar in the lobby with happy hour specials. There are many other hotels nearby that offer free breakfast for the same hotel price so I am sorry to say, they may be my first choice next time I travel. Also, I feel that the beds are a little bit of a safety issue. The frame sticks out so much further than the mattress, that I walked into it multiple times, bruising my shin, as did my travel partner.

Friendly staff, quick check-in, treat bag for my service animals, room in good condition, comfortable bed, comfortable pillows, accommodated my request for a first level room. A perfect stay and will be sure to stay again when travel to southern Florida. A nice break and relax and refresh point. Hotel is content right off I95. Plenty of opptions for meals nearby.

I frequently stay at this location. This was the first time the room was in poor condition. The carpet was wet on the far side of the room, the floor in front of the refrigerator was warped and coming up and the toilet did not flush properly. The person at checkout said the room would be removed from service till repairs are made
