Awesome pool!
Walter
Enjoyed the stay will stay here again
Fernando
This was a great stay! Nice bar for drinks, even if just for a soda. Friendly staff all around. Breakfast was great. I always appreciate a waffle station. The scrambled eggs were good, and bacon and sausage. The only thing we found odd was that the bed and towels felt a little damp. Humidity perhaps? Otherwise, everything was great.
Teresa
Most comfortable beds!!’ Huge rooms!!! Quiet! We were very satisfied.

I loved that they had flags all over the property. The room had a comfortable bed and was clean. I thought it said continental breakfast and was surprised it had a full breakfast!

The place was fine for a one night stay. Here are a few things to know. We reserved for 3 adults expecting to use the sofa sleeper. We got in late and once checked in, looked for the sofa bedding. Finally we called and were told we had to get that from the front desk. We barely got there in time before the desk closed. I’ve never experienced a situation where the sofa sleeper bedding wasn’t already in the room. Second thing to know is that there is some mechanical sound that goes all night long. It isn’t constant, but it comes and goes all night making it very hard to sleep. I suggest bringing ear plugs. It was basically clean although there was what looked like cigarette ash in the toilet. But it was cheap and on the way so it worked for the one night.

Hotel was in a good location right off of exit (1). Staff were helpful and very polite. Breakfast was good, had a pretty good variety of things to choose from. Overall had a nice time there, I will be coming back. The guy working overnight shift needs a raise! I forgot his name but he made my experience better. He was the younger Jamaican dude. He needs a promotion! Thank you all.
Chelsea
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Whenever I want it hot tea, or needed a utensil the gentleman up front was very happy to help. It was really cool that they had a bar on premises though I just walked through. I didn't hear any noise from the bar.
At check in he did ask if I needed hot water because one building's heater was out. This worried me, that's a very odd question and a little tacky. Thankfully it wasn't an issue after I told him I do and my room had perfectly hot water.
The room/bedding was clean (I check hotel bedding thoroughly before settling into a room).
The pool was SCREENED IN! That is so nice as there is a lot of mosquitoes/flies in St Mary in summer. So it was really nice that they had it screamed in to protect from bugs and son, and very rare for a hotel to do that. It also keeps the pool a lot more clean. I would stay here again it was a really great value.

Easy check in and check out. The staff were all very nice. Clean rooms and fun hotel bar
Ernesto
The toilet seat needs to be replaced, a 10 dollars item makes the room look bad, thank you.
Robert
Run down facilities. Plumbing bad. Door deadbolt didn’t work. Floor covering loose.
TV ok. Breakfast average.

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. THE STAFF WAS NICE AND WELCOMING.
Phillip
Property was very clean. Pillows could be larger

Some of the bathroom appliances need to be updated or replaced.
Eric
The staff was exceptional. Friendly, knowing and attentive to our needs. Especially the breakfast staff.
Terry
Despite being located at very busy intersection this property was very quiet. The grounds and the room was well maintained and the breakfast was quite good.
Miguel
Good breakfast and clean rooms
Peter
Just what we needed. The accomodations were as expected for the price. The breakfast was fantastic. The coffee was great. The staff was very helpful and recommended places to have dinner.
Shakti
Clean rooms & well organized staff. Good breakfast.
Harley
This is a very basic hotel. My only gripe is we stayed there 4 days and they said they had no housecleaning. Also no extra towels, told me to go buy some. It's as basic as it gets but it's better than being in the field. Price can't be beat.
Steven
When you pay $80 a night, you don't expect much, but to not offer any drinks, food, or snacks is a little ridiculous. Had to go to the CVS next door to buy a drink and some snacks.
Room was clean, but old

The person at check in was so nice and friendly. I believe their name was Tiffany. The rooms were super clean and nice and the place was very easy to get to.Thanks for making our stay amazing.! We will be back again.
Lily
Yes fresh breakfast
Frances
My room had apiece of trash behind the door and the toilet needed to be cleaned on the outside seat. The room needed a coffee maker since the lobby does not open until 6 which is when they also open the continental breakfast. The food was good for what it was. The stag was very friendly and provided excellent service. The remote to my was missing and when I reported it, they quickly found or replaced it. I did not use the outdoor pool but it look nice. It was screened it and bbq pit were near by it. I did not use the indoor gym. It is located off of the dining area but looked to have the essentials.
Rondelle
Our stay experience was awesome and we will be back.

Clean room, friendly staff
Jennifer
No hot or warm water

Egg and cheese omlets were disappointing. They were too dry. The scrambled eggs were very good. Staff was very good.
Tim
Sheets were really damp, very slow check in with staff.
Chase
It was nice
John
We chose this property because the reviews were great. We agree that the front desk and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. The lounge was clean and inviting. Our room was in an older part of the hotel on the 2nd floor. Although the room was clean and ok, it was very old and a bit run down.
Sally
Booked a room with 2 queen beds and a kitchen when we arrive I was told the only room available was a king bed with a jacuzzi. Sharing a bed with a travel companion was not an option, but we did want to hang out together. The room smelled like a dirty swimming pool. There were only about 5 cars in the car park designed to hold over 50. Manager said it was Expedia’s error and could not provide the room booked. I stayed at the same place twice last year staff then were friendly and accommodating. Staffing changes have lead to a very different experience.
Kathy
Staff was very welcoming and pleasant, premises very clean, hot breakfast, covered pool in park like setting, quiet area.
Owen
breakfast was great but place was dirty
James
This was our 4th time staying there, and we were very disappointed. Our reservation was for 3 nights but we checked-out after 1 night and went to another hotel. The room was very narrow. The beds creaked whenever a person shifted around on one. The webpage said that each room had a cofee/tea maker - the room did not. We will not be back.
Brandy
Just stayed with my 3 kids,we checked in after 1 a.m, fast, easy and friendly check in. We didn't get in the pool because it was still a little to cold but it was nice looking. The room was clean, beds were super soft a comfy, if you prefer a firm bed, I would call and ask. My kids decorated the parking spot and outside our door with chalk, the employees were super nice and friendly about it.
Breakfast was good, cheese omelet and bacon once morning, scrambled with sausage links another morning. Our last day, they had ham and pepper omelets which were also good. My oldest really liked making her own waffles which a waffle maker is always a plus for us. The picnic area by the pool was also relaxing. I asked my kids if they would want to stay again and they all said yes and I agree. I would most definitely stay here again.! There's many shopping areas, places to eat, there's an Aldi next door which we really liked. Im a mom of 5 kids, staying in a hotel can be challenging determining the best one for the money.

Hotel has close proximity with major restaurants and attractions. Made getting ground super easy and comfortable.
The room was generally clean and stocked with the most important items anyone could ever need on regular basis.
The breakfast menu was fresh and really tasty.
And the staff were exquisitely friendly and polite.
Dina at the breakfast kitchen was extremely sweet, attentive and overly thoughtful. She will endeavor to make something fresh for you in case you get to breakfast and some items have run out.
I absolutely enjoyed my stay.
Budget friendly hotel with great hospitality.

Great breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Love this hotel for when we travel up and down from VA to FL and back. Having a bar with good food inside the hotel is awesome!
chona
It was convenient for Cumberland island. Hotel itself is dated but they repainted and somewhat added new furnitures. Bathroom needs to be updated. It was clean just very dated and NO exhaust. Breakfast was ok. Staff are welcoming and accommodating.
irene
Staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was clean, but not perfectly so, as bathroom grout was grungy. Breakfast was very nice, parking was easy, and the common areas were very nice. The shampoo, etc was minimal and hard to access—tiny bottles that did not empty easily. Towels were very nice—better than in more expensive places. Overall a good value and yes I would stay here again.
Keith
Great and close to Ferry to Cumberland Island.

The pictures online did not match what the actual hotel looked like at all. Our room had a weird smell to it, the floor was dirty, and so was the bathroom. Our experience did not match any of the reviews we had seen online for this location. I'm not sure if we went on an off day, they have new staff or what but I would never stay at this hotel again.
Jennifer
This was a simple place to stay with really nice rooms. They were clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice tv and soft towels. The water pressure and temp were amazing! Would 100# stay here again!
Debra
We only stayed one night but the room was nice and clean and the bed was so comfortable.
Cassie
Great breakfast! Staff was very friendly.
Jean
Very clean room. The woman who checked us in was very nice and very helpful. The pub was convenient, nice bartender, and very good food and hapoy hour prices.
Kimberly
Comfy beds. Loved the use of non-styrofoam at breakfast. Great staff!
Michelle
The only issue I had with my stay was the taste of the water. If you stay I would recommend bringing bottled water to brush your teeth. The water smelled and tasted like old pipes and the room started to smell like it as well.
Jennifer
Clean n safe property. Comfy bed, full breakfast
Kirsch
I stayed here last week as well as this week due to work, I encountered a different front desk staff on both occasions, hands down some of the best customer service I’ve encountered when traveling for work.
Kirsch
If you’re traveling for work like I was be very careful, the beds here were so comfortable I really had a hard time getting up for work.

👍 Made a spur of the moment stop, found it on the hotels app real quick n it had ok reviews so we booked it..
To our surprise it was very nice and very well priced.. only issue was the pools not heated so it was to cold to swim in it.. so we ended up at cucumbers bar & grill that's attached to the hotel... VERY good experience there, great food and atmosphere.
Would definitely stay here next time we make this trip.. wasn't a far drive from off I95. 👍

This is an excellent value, just up the road from Cumberland Island ferry. It’s an older property but clean and neat. Even a very nice breakfast, and a busy, friendly and efficient attendant. Well done!
Kent
Wonderful experience!!
Robert
Noisy. Late night talking outside.Early morning trucks idling engines. Desk staff good.

Property is older and rooms were not very clean. Rating said 8/10 but this was nowhere near an 8/10 hotel maybe a 6-6.5.

Room was quiet and adequate for size and amenities. Breakfast with hot options was really appreciated. Discount at local restaurants was great! Only a 5 minute drive down to the ferry to Cumberland Island. Great location for the hotel with nearby stores and dining options. Spacious grounds for hotel with outdoor pool and cabanas with picnic tables.

We have stayed here multiple times and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great price, super friendly and helpful staff, clean room and good breakfast! Great food and ALDI within short walking distance.

Was a great two night stay for the family and pup. The pup loved the walks and the walking path near the pool. The buildings are very run down and old. That being said, the room was clean and felt comfortable. The lobby was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was very good. I think the staff does a great job maintaining the older property. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We would stay again.

The property was a very pleasant surprise for our family stay with kids. The room and all shared facilities were exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. The staff was friendly, courteous, and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was very good and offered the usual favorites, including eggs, bacon or sausage, a waffle maker, pastries, bagels, juice, milk, and coffee—plenty of options for both kids and adults. We especially loved the patio area, where we enjoyed sitting in the mornings with our coffee and starting the day in a relaxed setting. Although we didn’t have a chance to try the bar, we heard great things about it. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a place we would recommend.

This place is truly lovely. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. I wish it had been warmer during our visit so I could have enjoyed the lovely pool.
They may want to have a gentle conversation with the cleaning staff as the bathroom sink was full of dirty water when we arrived. I don’t get the impression that this is a serious issue with this hotel though, given the overall very good condition of the grounds and facilities. We will definitely be back.

Overall we had a nice stay! The room was clean and well stocked. The door didn’t have a very good seal around it but otherwise it was ok. The mattress was so soft you sink into it and it was hard to sleep on but the sex was awesome! The bed did most of the work!
