Very nice location on the beach. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. My only complaint was that my room advertised a freezer and a sitting chair which it did not have. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I will return for sure.

Amazing experience! Very convenient to walk over to the beach. As you return there are wash stations. The building and rooms were clean. Breakfast, coffee and sitting area was excellent. You can tell that the salt wears and tears on property. But that’s what happens when you are steps away from the beach. Overall will stay again. BTW… Wash your car after your stay. It will be covered in salt.

Very nice place to stay! Location was great with the beach right there, food options, shopping for incidentals and novelties nearby, close to downtown, and an open space for the kiddos. We enjoyed the beach for a while and then stayed at the pool until dinner. The staff was helpful, and the hotel was older but in great shape. We enjoyed the lounging area around the pool with a morning coffee.

The location was convenient for most of what I wanted to do. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is right on the beach, but due to that there were often people hanging out in the parking lot smoking near by etc... My room was fine; a bit awkward but fine for one person. The bathroom had many extras and storage which was nice. My windows faced the beach, but one whole side was blurred/smudged out I guess from being old. My room was near the elevator and it was very loud both nights. Sounded like many drunk people in the hallway. The breakfast and amenities were disappointing. The parking area was ok, but you are charged for it. I would pay a little more to stay somewhere else next time.

Great location on the beach, staff were friendly and polite. Parking was extra $15/day. Cookies and fruit out in afternoon. I didn’t realize bed was full size and bathroom very small but redone. Nice view and breakfast included. Didn’t see a full length mirror in room. Did have 2 tvs and mini fridge and microwave.

this was our second stay at the property and it was I expected. the reservation system was still not as helpful with regard to the room descriptions. we reserved a room that had a view of the ocean from our room. but no balcony, so the experience was not exactly what I wanted... windows could not be opened, so water could not be heard. Windows are facing the ocean, so they were covered with salt spray so the view was not very good even though we were looking directly at the water.

The front desk at check in and check out was rude with zero personality for her position .... The room was furnished with cheap \"yard sale\" pieces...The view was obscured by the window that haven't been cleaned in who knows how long....The breakfast was basic cheap quality bacon, cheap sausage , premixed scrambled eggs and the coffee machine is ridiculous ...Yes, I was very disappointed especially for the price paid ....Cheap motel vibe !

Stay was a series of hits and misses. Hits included the fancy coffee machine and water bottle filling machine in the breakfast area. Snacks and bottles of complimentary water in the lobby. Pleasant staff. Location of hotel to the beach. Misses included tiny “suites” room (#323) loosely called a suite. Carpeting in hotel should have been replaced 20 years ago. Tiny balcony with tiny plastic chairs. Lack of parking. Lack of restaurants within walking distance. Overall our stay was ok, but not sure we would return to Fernandina Island.

They are really trying to keep lipstick on the pig. Breakfast was no better or worse than any other continental. Private rooftop was probably the coolest thing about the hotel. Local is cool but there are newer places on the west side id probably stay at next time. My biggest complaint is the old, hard mattress and other cheap dirty furniture. Otherwise the room is setup weird. The larger TV is in front of a couch NOBODY wants to sit on, and the one for the bed is tiny. Oceanfront fees for trailer park digs basically.

I liked the room. Like the layout of the partial view balcony, which had a bed near the door, the bath and in a separate area- the pull out couch. It provided some privacy if the pull out couch was used.
If it were my property, I would spend $100 per room for a foam mattress topper. The bed was rock hard.
I would spend another $100 per bath, for a hand shower to replace the very high mounted sprayer. If you are not 6 foot tall or do not want to wash your hair - good luck.
Otherwise - I would return to the property!

The common areas were cleaned daily and in good condition but the room was terrible. House keeping is not done daily and they say they’re done every third day but they didn’t clean our room one time throughout the entire 6 night stay. They only took out our trash and gave new towels when specifically requested but didn’t. Hangs the sheets / clean the bathroom / even wipe counters down even though someone from housekeeping told me they specifically were going to do a full clean that day.

We were traveling with our newborn and I didn’t feel clean the entire time we were there and we ended up just leaving a night early because it was so upsetting and we couldn’t take it anymore.

It wasn’t utterly filthy but it just gave the vibes that they don’t really clean that well between guests either and that was not the experience we paid for.

The staff was nice and location was great though. If the hotel were to change their room cleaning system it would be a wonderful place to stay and I think this aspect is really holding them back from being amazing.

My room had a balcony facing the street but you could watch the sunset each evening. Salt Life restaurant had live music which I could hear from the balcony, too.

There is a rooftop area to watch the sunrise each morning. The beach is wide even at high tide.

Parking underneath the building keeps the car cool. Would recommend renting a bike and riding through Fort Clinch historic tree canopy.

Location is perfect. Close to the beach, two restaurants. A mini golf course. Fort Clinch. Other trails to ride.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is literally steps from the ocean and a great beach bar/restaurant. It's also very conveniently located close to the historic downtown of Fernandina Beach. It's just a short drive or Uber. The only downside of this hotel is that the rooms are on the smaller side. The bathroom and shower were quite small, and the balcony barely had enough room for two small chairs. But, we didn't spend much time in the room so that was not an issue. Friendly staff. Free bottled water and snacks. Morning breakfast was pretty standard.

I only stayed one night passing through on my way back to SC. I was in a partial oceanview which was excellent! It was on the side of the hotel but the ocean is so close that it didnt feel \"partial\". The breakfast was kind of gross tbh (the usual weird scrambled eggs, dried out waffles and bacon, etc) but the rest of the place was nice and made up for it. Parking is free and very convenient in an attached underground parking garage, Sandbar Restaurant next door was awesome and the beach is so close you could throw a rock at it. Great place!

Nice view of ocean from small balcony on the third level. Breakfast was well-prepared with a good variety over our two mornings. Nice touch with 24-hour hot beverage machine with lots of coffe, etc. choices. Beach out front is wide and flat, perfect for all beach-goers. Staff was very nice and property was very clean and maintained. Well done! This was our first time to Amelia Island. We plan to return and would certainly stay again at the Amelia Seaside Inn!

The staff are very nice and accomodating. The rooms are cozy. The views and beach access are enchanting!! The breakfast buffet in the mornings eliminate the need to go anywhere else. This hotel is simply amazing!! All you have to do is wake up and walk out to the beach...and for lunch or di ner, just walk next door to The Sand Bar restaurant! This is the perfect getaway spot for any occassion. But don't trust me, come and see for yourself!

Good day. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was quite nice.
I know HVAC units age and are costly, but ours was notably loud with a low frequency pulsing that was difficult to sleep through. We were disappointed to only have one roll of TP even for one night. We were told to park beneath the building even though we found more convenient parking behind the building by accident. Minor issues by and large, but I do not think I would stay here again considering other options in the area.
