Our stay was amazing! Staff was extremely friendly and willing to help. Property was clean, beds were comfortable and convenient to stores and food. They even gave out all you can eat free ice cream some days, the kids loved it. There was a nice outdoor patio, where they had a fire lit every evening and 3 large grills to uses as well. We definitely will plan to stay again on our next trip to Amelia Island.

We rented this room, looking for a wonderful experience in this great location in Florida. It turns out they rented us this room, knowing the air conditioner was broken and attempted to fix it halfheartedly with a portable air conditioner unit and a box fan. It did not do the job and it was too noisy to get a good night sleep and enjoy a $400 a night experience. Their response was to give us $50 and a cheap bottle of wine. The night manager Robyn was very unhelpful and would not listen to anything and reply before I could explain to her exactly what was going on. She denied knowing that the air conditioning was broken when we made our reservation for the fifth floor. I talked to a maintenance man after we checked in and he said a part did not make it in the week before to fix the air-conditioning system. We are working with Expedia to get a full refund.

Check in was easy. Room and other parts of the hotel were clean. We enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was not the experience it used to be. A lot of options at breakfast but the eggs were never really warm. The hot plate they put under the pan that hold the eggs doesn't really keep the eggs warm like a sterno would. Second day there was no regular or 2 percent milk available, only 1 percent. They also ran out of sugar free syrup that day and had none to replace it. We went to the store and bought our own milk. When we stayed there a few years ago the person in the dining room removed our dirty plates from the table but not this time. Seemed to be only one person in the dining room refilling things, keeping things filled, and it seems like too much for one person. I saw someone else bring out French toast after the pan was empty but then she went back to the kitchen. Still a good breakfast.

Overall: Everything was perfect except room #414 had an AC unit in the wall that once the AC shuts off and TV is off, there’s a dripping of water that is dripping in an overflow pan inside that is in the wall behind a metal access door that dripped and splashed ever 2 seconds throughout the entire night. By the time we uncovered this when going to bed, it was almost midnight and not worth packing up and changing rooms so we stuck it out. It was impossible to sleep as the area of the vent was at the foot of the bed.

We stayed 7 nights at the Amelia Island Residence Inn.. It was a great location. Lots of restaurants nearby. Harris Teeter grocery store is great to have very close by.. The suite we had was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, except we were disappointed to not have an oven. We like to bake healthy foods instead of using a frying pan, but we did okay with just a stove top.. The beds are very comfortable.. The breakfast each morning was very good. All the employees at the hotel were wonderful and helpful.. I have to give a special shout out to \"ROBIN\" at the front desk, who was there when we checked in.. Oh my goodness, was she ever so nice and informative to us.. She left the desk and took us to two different suites, so we could choose which one we would like best. She gave us lots of brochures to look at, about activities on the island. We so appreciated her kindness to us after a long drive to get there.. If I could talk to the person in charge of pay raises, I would definitely suggest Robin to be considered for one... lol-I hope she hears about this review.

Nice breakfast, very good customer service (breakfast employees were great!), I think the hotel itself could be maintained a little better but overall nice, quiet, comfortable. Needed a tad more space in the suite (poor design). Water pressure was terrible and the shower nozzle needed replacing. I would return but a little disappointed in the cleanliness and upkeep for the price. Location was great, as well but beach access was further than we thought.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The room was clean & comfortable. The location was perfect and the free shuttle was a nice bonus. We loved the ice cream in the afternoons! Our only complaints are the pool wasn’t clean a few days during our stay and the room had a very strong smell when we checked in. I’m not sure what they used to clean but it was really too strong and almost made me feel sick. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Pool is not heated. Staff was excellent. Room was clean and hotel well maintained but Toilets never brushed under rims left odor in bathroom. Internet room door was severely damaged it looked like it was broken into. I would say this hotel is a good choice if you are not looking to swim. Breakfast was above average and this is a nice hotel. But check in could not make keys so it took 15 minutes to make keys. Internet did not work without calling support for access code even being a Bonvoy member the internet access was not recognized. Room sizes are excellent with work space available.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is superior to most other hotels. The only disappointment was in the cleanliness of the room. It had not been vacuumed before we got there. The front desk did send someoneup the next day but the same pieces of paper and crumbs on the floor were still there when we returned from shopping. When the front desk person brought some clothes hangers to us, we showed her the floor. She apologized and said it would be attended to again, which it was. We were there for two weeks and by the time we left, there was enough dust on the desk and nightstands that you could write your name in it. Doesn't speak well of the quality of cleaning. We also had a roach in the bathroom, which was totally disgusting. We would like to stay again when we return to Amelia in the spring, but are concerned about the cleanliness.

Our room was very clean. However, the air conditioning vent was blowing in our face in bed. The unit was very noisy as well. This made getting a good nights sleep very difficult.

The pool was ok but could have been cleaner. On a positive note, the morning breakfast was very good.

The place is immaculate. Staff is great. Breakfast is awesome. Hayden, Crew, Micha. Tan, Kendall, and especially Zack. We used the grills alot. Shuttle takes you anywhere on the Island. Pool with towel box. Hot tub/whirlpool is great. Plenty of space on the deck. We stayed about 25 days in all.

The only disappointment was the room quality just sub-par for the amount of money. Plenty of space, but the carpet and bathroom are in need of replacement.
Horribly discolored bath tub, and heavy rust build up on toilet left much to be desired.

One of our favorite things is when the hotel puts out ice cream for the guests, they also have games for entertaining, free coffee and tea. I saw the hotel will be making some renovations soon and we look forward to seeing them on our next visit.

Best Residence Inn anywhere. Breakfast is awesome. Zack and the others are awesome. The suites have great kitchens. The pool area has a huge table area with three gas grills. Walk to Sliders are other areas bars
estaurants. Shuttle will take you all over the island. Whirlpool\Hot tub is huge and towels in a outside chest.

We pay a lot of money to stay there so it would be nice to have fresh towels and a clean room daily. I was here for a week with co-workers for a conference in the area. We have all raved about how fabulous our stay was at this hotel. The hotel is clean, convenient to the beach and many restaurants; it has excellent amenities including a great pool, hot tub, wonderful outdoor space with a patio, complete outdoor kitchen, 3-hole putt-putt golf, lots of board games in the lobby, and nice laundry facilities; there is a wonderful breakfast and the kitchen and dining staff are awesome (special shout-out to Micheal and Zach who work hard to keep the dining room clean and are so pleasant); we also appreciated and utilized the free shuttle--it takes you all over the island, whereever you need to go at your request--what other hotel does that? Huge thanks to the shuttle driver, Drake, who went above and beyond to make sure we got to-and-from our conference at all hours--amazing customer service! The best thing about this hotel is its staff--from Makayla at the front desk to Chris the engineer--seriously, we needed to get to a conference early one morning before the free shuttle officially started running and the gentleman at the desk said someone would get us there and Chris the engineer hoped behind the wheel of the shuttle with a smile on his face and did it! Chris told us on the drive that the hotel manager focuses on finding employees who are friendly and customer service oriented, and teaches them to always see things from the perspective of a guest--it is apparent! Kudos!

The room is one of the better ones among hotels this price- good size, nice living room/kitchen, and separated bathroom/sinks. More homelike than other hotel rooms. One of the mornings, breakfast was outstanding (bacon, potatoes, egg omlets) along with waffles. Overall, everything was a moderate cut above other 3/4 star hotels. And the shuttle was very helpful. Closeness to the beach didn’t hurt either. Very satisfied.

The staff make you feel at home with the best included breakfast we've ever experienced! The beach is just a short walk away and their are great hiking trails starting right behind the hotel that cover a large area with birds, turtles, alligators, and other wildlife. Grocery stores are very close.

This property is within walking distance to the beach. It is a nice walking beach when the tide is out.
The property is well maintained and clean.
The rooms are a little worn but that is nitpicking.
All staff great you with a hello, making you truly feel welcomed.
The morning breakfast is typical, but the staff are both courteous and contentious. I was about to take my dirty plate and a staff member came by and said, \"I can do that for you\", before i even got up from my seat.
This is our second year coming here. It will continue to be a two day stop on our way from Ontario to Orlando/Tampa

The hotel overall was nice. Highlights were the lobby area and location. The room needed updating but the reason it received a 3 was because of the AC in the rooms. We were with a large party and all the rooms were the same. Never was cool enough and extremely humid. I was told the units go back to 73 if it it does not sense movement. 73 is usually very cold to me but it was actually hot. Since we don’t get up at night the unit doesn’t sense movement and it went higher than what I put it on. Waking up in a sweat. When it is more humid inside the room than outside in Florida something is wrong.
