Staff was friendly and helpful. We did have long hair stuck to shower wall pretty gross. But other than that it was good. Hotel could use some updating ( paint, cleaner balcony, walls etc. Overall would stay there again just close to everything especially the beach.

This is a sneaky good spot right at the main beach. Its not on the ocean side of the road but it mine as well be. Its only a few steps to the beach with any rentals you need on the way. Pretty good breakfast too!

Great location. Nutritious breakfast. Very Comfortable king bed!! Good AC. Beach towels provided. I didn't like that I had to ask for facial tissue and new towels since housekeeping does not come each day to make your bed and change towels. Also at breakfast, 100% whole wheat bread options would be good for diabetics.

This place is way overpriced for the condition the hotel is in. Breakfast is your typical microwave slop. Room we stayed in was terribly ran down. Water was puddled on window seal from leaking window. Rooms are not acoustic safe, you can hear people walking down hall even with TV cranked up. It's not oceanfront property. I'd maybe stay again if it were half the price. Place isn't worth 200 per night

The floor in the room could have been cleaned better. We moved a chair and there was sand and a small tennis ball under it which wasn't ours. Also, we had to move the microwave in order to use it. There was a hole in the counter which I'm assuming was for the microwave but we would have had to move the fridge to plug it in so it was easier to move the microwave but still aggravating. The pillows were very flat. I think they need to invest in better quality pillows. The gentlemen that checked us in was very script. No extra conversation what so ever. We didn't feel welcomed and there was no one waiting behind us so no need to rush. The young lady on the afternoon shift didn't greet us at all as we walked past her to walk to the beach. None of the other staff spoke English so when trying to communicate by asking a question, it was difficult.

Fantastic location. Quick walk across the street to the beach. Multiple life guard stations and beautiful beaches. Hotel pool was really nice and great way to cool down after the beach. Hotel itself was a bit dated but still overall nice and clean. It felt more historic rather than “old”. I would definitely stay again.

The location was unbeatable. It was very clean, very quiet, and breakfast was good. The receptionists were very helpful and amenable! The maintenance is lacking, though. The roof needed repair, one of the elevators lags and our shower didn't have hot water. Finally, going through Expedia made getting an ocean view room impossible as well as getting military discount. So it's best to call the hotel directly.

We’ve stayed here in the past and without issues. This trip however the elevator on our side of the hotel was down which meant we had to walk the entire hotel each time we came and went. The door handle for our room was also broken and wouldn’t accept the keycards so ended up having to get replacements a couple times. Something else that is new is that now you have to pay to park each night you stay here, $15/day.

This review is probably affected by their refusal to refund me for the day I missed. I showed up one day late because I got the reservation dates wrong.. they refused to give me a refund and so did Expedia. I even had insurance but still no refund for the missed day.

your excuse at the hotel was that I paid through Expedia, so Expedia should do the refund.

Anyway, I’m pretty upset about the whole thing and all I can remember is I had a miserable time there because I got billed for two nights, but only stayed one and they refused to help. Never stay there and never use Expedia to book either becaus/e you won’t get your money back.

Not too bad of a hotel, room was clean. Our window leaked while it was raining. Walked in to check in and had to wait about 5 min before someone came to the counter to help us. Could easily hear people talking from our room, could smell food from the neighbors room, a little over priced for how it was (I understand it’s on the beach but at least update the place to make up for the price). Also didn’t realize we were having to pay for parking till we got there (hotel.com did not include that in the listing) Still crazy to me for having to pay for parking tho.

First time stayers. Not just my room, but the entire hotel was very clean consider considering the fact that it was a pet friend friendly hotel. Stay was very peaceful. Disappointing for the cost. Besides the convenient location (although right by a major intersection so very busy), the hotel is old. They tried to renovate it but cut corners. Staff Ty was extremely rude and should not be in hospitality. Check in policy is full of surprises. (3.5%!charge for cc and $15 parking a day)They don’t clean the room for 3 days. AC unit was loud and not working. We won’t be coming back. If you’re looking for very basic and just a bed, , that’s fine.

This is a great location for vacation with family. A awesome view of the beach. Right across the road from the hotel. The staff is really friendly and not so bad breakfast daily.

The place could use some updating. There was a ticking sound in the ceiling that kept us awake during the night since it stopped and started. Otherwise ok. I’ll book here again

Curtains didn’t close because they were missing a panel. My husband fixed the toilet because it ran all night on our first night.
Breakfast was very good. Had a different assortment every day. Not a lot of tables for seating so we ended up sitting at a table with strangers every day. (A bit awkward)

Well I spent a lot of money on what I thought was a good clean hotel, right next to the beach. The entire building is outdated. The walls were dirty, the room , when it was finally ready for us , smelled disgusting, like vinegar. The shower and sink were disgusting. For the amount of money I spent on it , I definitely was expecting a clean room without the funky smell. The service was slow . I waited over 20 minutes just to check into my room and when I finally did get help my room was not \"ready\" . I am very disappointed and I probably won't ever stay there again.

Great location if you're here for the beach (just steps away). Very friendly staff.

Breakfast buffet was hot&cold but pretty basic. Housekeeping only every 3rd day (fine with me) but you can request additional towels and items anytime.

It's a pretty old hotel so the rooms are also pretty basic and unfortunately we were there for heavy rains so a few of our rooms experienced leaks requiring relocation. A/C was fine.

There is a good restaurant across from the hotel but most of the other restaurants, stores and nightlife are on the other side of the island, about a 5-10 min car ride.

Bottom line, works for a beach location but don't expect too much.

Location is fantastic. Easy walk across street to the beach. Room was adequate. Could use a chair to sit in. We used one of our beach chairs. 1 out of 5 for the very low low toilet. Tv fine but an in room guide would be nice. Or even just a note saying TV guide is on channel 25. In room clock didnt work. Bed and bedding was fine. Towels OK. Ice machine nice. Now breakfast was 3 out of 5 no waffle maker. Staff was 5 out of 5. Helpful and breakfast area very clean. Fresh juice was great. We would stay here again.

There was no thermostat in the room so we could not control the AC or heat. Hotel is in a good location for the beach but our room was not the best. Chips in the tub and tiles. Faucets not working right. Shower water not ver hot in the morning
